Sungmin's office phone rang.

He picked and and waited for the other side to speak.

"Mr Park, there's someone who wants to see you. He say his name is Yang Jungwon and he wants to talk to you about Miss Kim Y/n."

The counter assistant said.

"Let him in."

Sungmin said and hung up the phone.

A few minutes later...

*Knock knock knock*

The door of Sungmin's office was knocked.

The next second, the door opened and Jungwon appeared infront of the office door.

"Please come in, Mr Yang."

Sungmin said as he put down his pen and stood up.

He walked over to the sofa and signalled Jungwon to take a seat.

"Go straight to the point Mr Yang... What brings you here?"

"Since you said so, I'll go straight to the point."

"I want you to never show up Infront of Y/n anymore... "

Jungwon said with determination in his tone.

"Oh? And why should I listen to you?"

Sungmin said with a smug look on his face.

"You are making her life miserable... Eversince you came, you have been causing pain and harm to her."

"It's not my intention to do so... I mean to be honest... She is the one causing herself trouble.... If she doesn't keep insisting that I am her childhood friend, nothing would have happened."

Sungmin said with a nonchalant tone.

"But if you didn't appear at all, this wouldn't had happened..."

"So? What's your point?"

"I want you to leave korea. Go somewhere where Y/n cannot ever see you again."

Sungmin laughed at Jungwon's words.

"Mr Yang... You are quite insecure aren't you?"

"What?"

"The reason why you want me to leave is not because I was making Y/n's live miserable... It's because you are scared that if I'm really Park Sunghoon, then Y/n will leave you and come back to me right?"

Sungmin said with much confidence, and after seeing the change in Jungwon's expression, Sungmin's smile became wider.

"I'm right, right?"

"That's not important... What's important is that you leave korea as soon as possible..."

Sungmin didn't reply...

He took the coffee pot and poured himself some coffee.

He's actions were making Jungwon impatient.

"You are leaving... Right?"

"Sorry to disappoint you, Mr yang... But... I'm am not leaving... "

Sungmin's words set a bomb to Jungwon's heart.

"Why?"

"There's no why... I just don't want to."

"But you have to."

"Says who?"

Sungmin was being cocky and that irritated Jungwon to the max.

Jungwon stood up and grabbed Sungmin by his collar.

"Stop testing my patience Park Sungmin."

"Ayo... Chill... Why so aggressive?"

Sungmin's tone was sarcastic and he had a smirk on his face, looking as unbothered as possible.

"Park Sungmin... "

Jungwon growled.

"Ss... You are already so worked up when I'm not Park Sunghoon... What if one day, Y/n really proved that I'm Park Sunghoon... Aren't you gonna go crazy?"

"That's why you have to leave so nothing like this will happen."

Sungmin scoffed and said.

"No. I am not leaving. And I would actually like to see your reaction when Y/n actually finds out that I'm Park Sunghoon though..."

Sungmin smirked and stared into Jungwon's eyes...

"What do you mean?"

Jungwon let go of Sungmin and stared at him in shock.

"I mean what I said... If you have nothing else, you can leave now."

Sungmin said as he walked back to his seat.

But he was stopped by Jungwon.

"Clarify what you just said."

"Fine... Since you want to hear it... I'll say it again, just for you..."

"Listen up... I am Park Sunghoon... The one Y/n is looking for..."

After Sungmin said that, Jungwon took a few steps back in shock. He never thought Sungmin is Sunghoon... Even if he did, he never thought that Sunghoon will admit.

"Please leave now, Mr Yang... I'm a busy man. "

Sunghoon said and signal Jungwon to leave.

Jungwon walked out of the office in shock, panic and many thoughts.

"He is Park Sunghoon..."

"What should I do now?"

"But why does he only admit now?"

"Why doesn't he want to admit to Y/n?"

"What is his motive?"

Jungwon's mind is so messed up now.

He is getting afraid. Afraid of losing you. Afraid that after you found out that Sungmin is Sunghoon, you will leave him.

He can't loose you... He will die without you... But... What can he do?

Sunghoon knows about his identity, meaning that Sunghoon definitely is as powerful or as powerful as him....

Sunghoon is not an easy opponent...

He has to think far and think well.

He needs just a perfect plan to make you hate Sunghoon...

But how?

Note:

from now on, I will refer Sunghoon as Sunghoon since he already admitted his is Sunghoon.

Previously, I referred Sunghoon as Sungmin because he hasn't admitted that he is Sunghoon.

So if y'all are confused, Sunghoon is Sungmin.

After leaving your house Sunghoon went to the pharmacy and got a reduce swelling cream.

After that, he went back to your house and stood outside.

He wanted to go in to give you the medicine but he has no reason to do so. Especially because he is your sister's boyfriend.

Unexpectedly he heard someone talking.

"Where's Y/n?"

He recognises that voice, that's your mom.

"Oh, Miss Y/n is at her cabin..."

"Oh... Okay... "

"Cabin?"

Sunghoon thought to himself.

He looked around and saw that the fence was low... He could easily climb over it.

He went the the back of the house and looked for he lowest fence and climbed over it.

After Jungwon left, you went to your personal cabin, the one that you asked your dad to build for you when you were 7... It's a place where you can spend sometime with yourself.

Only your family and Sunghoon have came here before.

You sat down on the single bed and let out a deep sigh.

You touched your cheeks and it was still swelling because of the strength your sister used to hit you.

She has never hit you before... This is the first time and it was because of Sunghoon...

You were in your own thoughts when someone came in to the cabin.

The sound of the door creaking open caught your attention.

You look up and saw Sunghoon.

"What are you doing here?!"

You were shocked to see him here.

"Get out!"

You shouted at him while walking towards him.

"Shh... Shhh... Keep it down..."

Sungmin came towards you and used his hand to cover your mouth.

"Mmm! Get! Out!"

You tried to remove his hand.

"Shhh... You don't want people to see us like that don't you?"

You were still trying to free yourself from his grip.

He smirked as he saw you stop struggling.

You tapped his hands and signal him to let go of you.

You nodded while having a frown on your face.

Sungmin let out a satisfied smile and finally let go of you.

"What are you doing here?"

This time, you asked with a normal voice.

He put his hand into his pocket and took out something.

After he took out the thing from his pocket and took your hand.

He placed the thing in your hand.

You took a closer look and saw that it was a reduce swelling cream.

You rolled your eyes and took his hand and gave the cream back to him.

"I don't need it."

"Stop being so stubborn Y/n... Look at your face, it's swollen."

He said and tried to give you the cream again but you hit his hand away and the cream fell on the ground.

"Get out."

You really don't want to see him now.

Everytime you see him, you will remember how lovey dovey his is with your sister. You can't help but to feel betrayed.

Sungmin let out a big sigh and picked up the cream.

He grabbed you by your arm and pulled you towards the bed.

He forced you to sit down and took a chair and sat down Infront of you.

"What are you doing?"

You tried to stand up but was held down by Sungmin.

"Stay still... I don't want to hurt you."

He opened up the cream and you realised what he was trying to do.

"I don't want it. Get out!"

"Stop moving. "

Sungmin warned you.

"No! Get out!"

"Look here, I can hold you still with my hand and I can shut your mouth with mine. Would you want to try that?"

Sungmin said as his face moved closer to yours.

You immediately covered your mouth and moved your head back.

He smirked at your actions and said.

"That's what I thought. Now stop moving."

He brought your hands away from you face, and put the cream on the side where your sister hit you.

"It must hurt alot right..."

Sungmin said as his eyes showed worry and pain.

You kept quiet...

After Sungmin was done, he let go of you and gave you the cream.

"Apply this until your face recovers."

You took the cream from his hand.

"Why are you acting to caring towards me?"

"It's because you are Sunghoon right? You can't see your friend hurt right?"

You looked at him with hope in your eyes.

Suddenly you realised something, which made you more sure that Sungmin is Sunghoon.

"And how did you know here? Only few people know this place my family... And Sunghoon.... If you are not Sunghoon then how would you know this place?!"

Sungmin gulped and stood up from the chair.

"You are thinking too much... I just heard your maid saying that you are in the cabin and I found it on luck... And also, you are my girlfriend's sister, and you got hit because of me... So of course I am being nice."

"Is that so? Then show me your necklace!"

"Sunghoon has a necklace with his mom's name engraved on it, if you are not Sunghoon, then prove to me!"

You said as you walked up to Sungmin and grabbed his necklace

"Yah! what are you doing?!"

Sungmin held your hands and pushed you away gently.

"You don't want to show me because you are scared right? You are Park Sunghoon right? The one who got pushed into the river... "

You said as tears started to drop from your eyes.

You are 100% sure that he is Park Sunghoon now.

"Like I said, I'm not Park Sunghoon... Please stop saying that I am... It is annoying..."

He said in a cold tone without looking at you.

He ran out of the cabin without looking back...

You dropped onto the floor and started crying.

You are crying from happiness and from sadness too.

You are happy that you finally found your long lost friend. But sad because he doesn't want to admit...

You spend the night alone in the cabin and cried yourself to sleep, hoping that everything will be fine tomorrow.

[Sungmin's pov]

I ran out of the cabin while holding onto my tears.

I ran and ran until I was far from the cabin.

I couldn't hold on to my tears anymore and started crying.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry Y/n.."

I let out all my emotions.

I kneeled down and covered my face full off tears.

As if the heavens felt my pain, it started to rain all of a sudden.

I didn't care if it was pouring or not, I just continued crying and let the rain fall on me.

[Jungwon's pov]

I stood behind a tree while I watched Sungmin crying in the rain.

I was here to find Y/n and to give her the reduce swelling cream but I saw Sungmin suspiciously walking about Y/n's house.

Next, I saw him climbing onto the fence of Y/n's house. I got suspicious and followed his quietly.

I followed him to a small cabin, I saw hime going inside, and next, I heard Y/n shouting.

I immediately went closer to see what was happening.

I saw Sungmin and Y/n standing so close to each other and Sungmin was hugging Y/n.

I blood boiled as I watch his moves, but, I still stayed quiet because I wanted to see what will happen.

I witnessed everything that happened in between them.

I fists clenched harder and harder as I watch their interactions.

And of course... I heard Y/n saying that Sungmin is Sunghoon and tried to see his necklace.

My heart skipped a beat because I was really scare that Sungmin is really Sunghoon. But luckily, Y/n didn't see Sungmin's necklace.

When I saw that Sunghoon was going to come out, I immediately hid behind a big tree. After Sunghoon left, I went to see Y/n and saw her crying... My heart hurt at the sight, but I have more important things to do now.

I quickly followed behind Sungmin.

After following him for awhile, he finally stopped running. He suddenly started crying and kneeled down.

It started to rain and as if he couldn't feel the rain, he continued staying there without moving.

This event made my suspicions grow.

This makes me more suspicious that Sungmin is Sunghoon...

But even if he is... I will never let Y/n find out.

After letting out your feelings in the park, you went home with a heavy heart. You don't want to face your sister and Sungmin but you have to get things clear.

"Omo, where did you go honey?"

Your mom asked you as you stepped into the house, your sister's friends have left and the house is pretty empty now.

"I just went out to take a breather... Don't worry mom..."

You said as you let out a small smile to signal that you are okay.

"Okay... I hope you're feeling better honey..."

Your mom knows your feelings for Sunghoon and she was also shocked to see Sungmin with your sister just now.

"Where's eonnie?"

*Slap*

When I saw Yena(y/n's sister) slapped Y/n, I immediately went up to Y/n and held her in place so she doesn't fall from the impact.

I shot a death glare at Yena but I didn't fail to catch Park Sungmin's action.

He also wanted to come forward to help Y/n but stoped himself suddenly..

I raised my eyebrows at the sight but didn't bother much as Y/n is more important now.

I heard the conversations between Y/n and Yena.

"Know what? Know that you like Sunghoon?"

When Yena said that, my breath hitched.

I knew that Y/n had feelings for the Sunghoon guy from the way that she tells me things about him.

But she had never admit.

Now that Yena said it, I can't help but to feel hurt and betrayed.

"Why am I always not her first choice..."

I can't help but to think...

I have been beside Y/n for 7 years... Definitely more than that Park Sunghoon... But why... Why can't I ever get into her heart?

While in deep thought, I also realised the shock on Sungmin's face.

Suddenly... I thought came to my mind.

"What if... He is Park Sunghoon...?"

I started to panic... If he is really Park Sunghoon, that means Y/n will go away from me...

I have to stop this... I need to make sure this man will not cause any threats to me...

After the unpleasant incident with your sister, you went back to your room with Jungwon.

"Y/n... Are you okay? I'll get some ice for you okay?"

Jungwon said a got up, but you held his hand and stopped him.

"It's okay... I'm okay..."

You said and you sniffled.

Jungwon's heart hurt seeing you cry.

"Y/n... See what you did to yourself..."

Jungwon let out a huge sigh.

"Y/n... Hear me out... Just forget about him... This is ruining your relationship with your sister..."

Jungwon tried to convince you.

"I want some time alone Jungwon..."

You didn't want to talk about this at this time. You really need some time to clear your mind.

Jungwon bit his inner cheeks to calm himself down.

"Okay... Rest well, I'll come again tomorrow... "

He left your room and you are all alone now.

After your room's door was shut, you let out all your emotions you have been hiding.

You covered your face with your hands as you cried.

It hurts... It really hurts...

You don't want to ruin the relationship with your sister, but at the same time, you can't stand seeing the guy you love with your sister.

Even though now you can't prove that he is Sunghoon, but in your heart, you already confirmed that he is Sunghoon and you will do anything to prove that to your sister.

[Sunghoon's pov]

After the fight, I didn't leave Yena's house immediately.

I was sitting in my car just aimlessly sitting there not knowing what to do.

"Aish... This is so annoying..."

I messed my hair in frustration.

I sat in the car for about 15 minutes while thinking about what had just happened...

"She got hit because of me..."

"It's so stupid that I can't even protect her from this small thing..."

I felt really bad and useless...

After awhile, I saw Jungwon coming out of the house. Without thinking, I immediately went out of the car and walked towards Jungwon.

"Why are you still here?"

Jungwon's tone was unfriendly, as if he didn't want me to be here.

"How is Y/n?"

"I don't think that is any of your business right?"

Jungwon raised his eyebrow and looked at me with a questioning look.

"I just want to make sure that she's okay... After all, I was the cause of it."

"If you really feel bad, then you should away from her, never appear infront of her anymore."

"What?"

"You heard that right, Mr Park... "

Jungwon said as he glared at me.

"Mr Yang... I don't think this is how you treat you client right?"

"Well, we are not in the company now... And I think Mr Park can distinguish between public and private affairs right?"

I smirked at his words and took step forward.

"Of course I can... But it's whether I want to or not."

Jungwon didn't seem to be intimidated by me, and took a step even closer.

"Well, I don't really care... All I care is that YOU, stay away from Y/n..."

"You like her don't you?"

I said and smirked after seeing Jungwon freeze on his spot upon hearing my words.

He took a step back and said.

"That's none of your concern Mr Park."

He said and tried to walk away but I continued.

"Sss... But from what I heard... She liked someone else... Seems like... You got no chance."

I purposely provoked him and successfully did.

"Shut up you bastard."

He said and grab me by my collar.

"Tsk tsk... Mr Yang... You are too violent... How would Y/n react if she sees you like this...?"

"Stop provoking me Park Sungmin... You don't know what I can do."

"I would like to see it... Mr Yang Jungwon... Or should I say, Mr J?"

I said and felt a sense of satisfaction seeing the shock look on Jungwon's face.

"How do you know me?"

"That's not important... What's important is, I know your things... So think twice before you want to act big Infront of me.."

"How would Y/n react if she knows her friend is a Mafia boss, someone who kills without even blinking his eyes? I'm worried for her safety now."

"You don't have to worry, I will never hurt her. You should be worried about yourself."

Jungwon shove me away and gave me a glare before leaving the place.

"I have to stop Y/n from getting to close to him... He is too dangerous..."

I thought to myself and got in the car and drove off.

Yesterday was hectic... You are still depressed about your childhood friend not admitting that he is your childhood friend... But today, at least, there's something else for you to be happy about.

Your sister is finally coming back from her studies!

She have been in Europe for 5 years to get her masters and degrees, you swear you missed her alot.

And now, you are at the airport waiting for you sister's arrival. Since your parents are busy at home planning and setting up a surprise party together with your sister's friends, you are here with Jungwon to fetch your sister...

You kept walking around the exit filled with excitement of finally getting to see your sister.

"Y/n-nie!"

You heard a familiar voice calling you and you immediately spotted the familiar figure not far away from you.

"Eonnie!"

You ran up to her and gave her the biggest hug.

"How are you? I missed you so much!"

"I'm fine, what bout you? You seemed like you have lost alot of weight..."

She said as she turned you around.

"Ayy... You can't deny that I look better can you?"

"You always look good no matter what..."

She said as she hugged you again.

Then she realised that there was someone standing next to me.

"Oh? Jungwon! Long time no see!"

"Noona, I'm sulky, only now then you see me..."

Jungwon said as he pouted.

"Ahhh, you can't blame me for that, you look very different, you became more handsome, i couldn't recognise you at first. You know, for a second I thought you are Y/n's boyfriend."

She said as she nugded you.

"No way Eonnie... That will never happen."

You said as you made a disgusted expression.

"Don't be so sure Y/n..."

She said and she winked at Jungwon and gave the "I don't think so" face.

You were all focused on your sister that you didn't notice the change in Jungwon's gaze. But it only lasted for a few seconds before he went back to normal.

"Let's go Noona, Aunty and uncle are waiting."

As you guys reach your house, Jungwon helped your sister with the luggage while you escorted her to the living room where everyone was.

She walked into the dark living room without knowing what will happen next.

"SURPRISE!"

A group of people jumped up from nowhere and scared your sister.

They turned on the lights and beautiful decorations could be seen around the living room.

"Welcome back dearie!"

Your mom said as she came to hug your sister.

"I missed you, dearie."

Your dad said as he came forward too.

"And us too!"

Her friends shouted from the back.

"I missed y'all too..."

The party went pretty good as you were all busy catching up with your sister and the atmosphere never died down.

Suddenly the door bell rang.

You have absolutely no idea who it could be.

"Let me get that, I think he is here..."

Your sister said and got up from the couch.

She opened the door but you couldn't see who was it as the view was blocked.

But once your sister brought him in, you froze.

But the next second, you couldn't control yourself as you let yourself fall onto the ground.

But luckily, Jungwon was next to you and he caught you immediately.

"Hello guys, let me introduce, this is my boyfriend, Park Sungmin."

You felt your knees weak as you held on to Jungwon.

Your sister saw your shocked expression.

"Y/n... Are you okay?"

"Eonnie... He's..."

Your sister knew exactly what you wanted to say.

"I know you might be shock... And think that he is that Sunghoon... But he is not Y/n..."

"Sunghoon died long ago..."

You tried to convince your sister.

You had no choice but to agree as her friends are here too, you don't want to ruin the mood.

Jungwon asked you with a voice which only you can hear.

You nodded at his words while still processing what just happened.

You and Jungwon went out of the house quietly and went to a park nearby.

"Y/n... Is he... Is he really that important?"

Jungwon asked you.

You kept quiet...

Is he that important? Of course...

"Y/n... I have never seen you like that before... Why not just forget about him?"

"I can't Jungwon... I can't..."

You started breaking down... You squat down and hugged yourself.

"Even if you can't, you have to accept that he is dead... And that Park Sunghoon isn't the one that you know..."

You tried to scream but your mouth was covered by a tape.

You tried to free yourself from the rope that tied your limps but it was too tied.

You didn't know how you got here or why you got here.

You have always been nice to everyone and you had never make enemies... Only people who were jealous of your beauty, but that was long ago in high school, there's absolutely no reason why someone will kidnap you.

Suddenly the door of the room opened and light shone into the dark room as you closed your eyes to adjust to the sudden brightness.

"I see that you are awake baby..."

A familiar and manly voice echoed in the room.

"Are you hungry? I can get you some food... You have been unconscious for 2 days... I might have hit you a little hard... Sorry about that... First time doing this, didn't know how much strength to use.. haha..."

He said as if kidnapping someone is nothing serious.

"Mmm!"

You struggled and signalled him to free you.

"Oh yah, let me help you with that..."

He came closer and took off the tape on your mouth, but he didn't remove the ropes.

"Park Sunghoon! What are you doing?!"

That was the first thing you said when you mouth was free.

"Baby... Isn't this obvious? What I am doing?"

He said and let out a little smile.

"Kidnapping me? Seriously? We already divorced!"

Yes... That's right, you and Sunghoon just divorced a month ago, it was agreed by both of you.

"Divorce? Nonono... Don't say that baby. Why would you say that?"

He hush you and put his index finger on your lips.

"What are you up to now? We are divorced... And you agreed to it.."

You didn't care about Sunghoon and continued.

Sunghoon let out a sigh and removed his finger and said.

"Yes.. I did... But... I regret it now..."

"Regret? What do you mean?"

Sunghon sighed and answered.

"I love you Y/n... So much... So much that it hurts..."

"Hahaha... "

You let out a bitter laughter.

"No you don't... You don't love me Sunghoon... "

"You know how we started... It was a arranged marriage..."

You can't help but to feel hurt. It was arranged for Sunghoon but not you.

"But you love me right?"

"Yeah... I did... I did... But remember what you said to me?"

"I will never love you... This is just an arranged marriage. "

Sunghoon's words replayed in your head.

"You remember what was the reason I gave when I wanted a divorce right?"

"Sunghoon... Let's get a divorce..."

"Why so sudden?"

"You are always at work... You never spend time with me... "

Sunghoon went silent for awhile.

"I'm sorry for that... If a divorce is better for you.... Then I'll agree to it."

[end of flashback]

"Yes... I know what I did wrong Y/n... I really do... That's why I regret now... I know this is very late but this one month without you was hell..."

"I got used to how dinner will always be warm and ready in the kitchen whenever I get home. I got used to how you will prepare everything for me... I got used to your presence. This one month without you made me realise I have developed feelings for you... I can't leave without you Y/n..."

After hearing Sunghoon's words, you didn't feel any happiness... But just more sadness.

"So you are use to having a maid. "

"NO! nonono... You got me all wrong Y/n... I just... I just miss you Y/n... Can we please start again? I promise I will change. I will spend time with you, buy you gifts. And give you everything... Just... Just come back to me... Please."

Tears fell out of your eyes as Sunghoon spoke...

You have dreamt of Sunghoon doing all of those for you when you were married... But he never did... All he did was to tell you that he's busy... He has no time...

Everything is too late...

"Sunghoon... We are better off as strangers... You are just not use to it now... One day you will eventually find someone that is the best for you... "

Sunghoon was crying and his face was filled with tears.

You can tell that he really is sorry... But we can't turn back time... What is done is done...

To be honest, you still love Sunghoon... But... You didn't want to risk your future anymore.

You don't know what you said that made Sunghoon sudden so angry.

"NO! SHUT UP!"

He shouted and stood up, looking down at you.

You froze at the sudden loud voice and the look on Sunghoon's face.

His eyes were red, his fists was clenched, his veins were popping out of his neck.

"S.. Sunghoon..."

You stuttered.

"Don't ever say that again Y/n... Don't say anything about leaving me... I will go crazy Y/n... And I don't know what I will do..."

"Su... Sunghoon... Why are you acting like this?"

You are actually scared... You have never seen Sunghoon like that before..

But you neglected one thing... He kidnapped you... That is enough to show his mental health... It's... Not that great.

"You will stay with me right?"

"What...?"

"Say yes... Say yes Y/n..."

"I... "

"SAY YES! SAY THAT YOU WILL STAY WITH ME!"

He suddenly shouted which made you shake in fear.

"Yes... Yes... I will stay with you... Please don't act like this..."

Hearing your answer, Sunghoon immediately changed his expression. He knelt down and cup your face.

"Sorry, did I scare you baby? I'm sorry I didn't mean to..."

He looks sweet and normal like how he was before... But still, you couldn't help but to shiver at his touch.

"Hmm... Let me see... When is a good date to get married? Let's decide that together okay? We will have a happy family together. With as many children as you want. "

"I'll make sure you feel loved Y/n..."

You colleague, Jungwon said.

"Of course not Jungwonnie... I got a pretty good memory you know?"

You giggled and made a proud face as you got up from you seat and got your things with you.

"I'm ready, let's go."

Jungwon smiled back at you and followed behind you.

"Yah, who is this Mr Park? Seems like he is quite an important figure... The boss even ask us to escort him to the company."

You asked Jungwon as you both got into the car.

"I'm not very sure about this, but all I know is he is very successful in the West... But I heard that he is a pain in the ass to deal with... He can be quite picky sometimes..."

Jungwon said and made a goofy face which made you laugh.

"Yah! If you let him hear that, you are so dead."

"Well, I don't think he will know about this unless you snitch on me..."

Jungwon squint his eyes at you while making a judgemental face.

"And I'm pretty sure you won't... Right?"

You said which made both of you burst out laughing...

The peaceful car ride ended pretty quickly as you and Jungwon arrived at the airport.

You and Jungwon stood at the exit where Mr Park will be coming out from.

Jungwon held on to an ipad which had "Mr Park" and the name of our company written on it.

"Ah... Where is this guy? My arms are getting sore..."

Jungwon complained as he put his hands down while massaging his arms.

"Yah! Raise it up! He might be coming soon!"

You said as you smack his arms.

"Ugh... Okay okay.. chill..."

Jungwon grumbled which made you laugh.

Soon after, a man walked up to you and Jungwon."

"Hi, is this Miss Y/n and Mr Yang?"

"Yes! Are you Mr park?"

You replied with a smile.

"No... I'm his assistant, he will be coming out in a minute."

"Alright, thank you, nice to meet you... How should I address you?"

"Just call me Mark will do."

Mr Park's assistant said with a small smile.

"Oh, he's here!"

Mark quickly walked to Mr Park and escorted him to where you and Jungwon are.

"Yah, he's here, let's go..."

You said to Jungwon and quickly walked over to where Mr Park was.

You got ready to greet him but the moment you saw his face, you froze on the spot.

It's... It's him...

"Y/n? Y/n? Kim Y/n!"

Jungwon whisper-shouted at you.

But you couldn't bother much about his calling as you ate in your own world.

Without a second thought, you ran up and hugged the person infront of you.

"Yah! Park Sunghoon, where have you been? I have been looking for you for years!"

You couldn't control your feelings and let all your tears out.

Without even realising, your tears had drenched Sunghoon's blazer.

But the next second, you got pushed back gently.

"I'm sorry Miss... But I think you've gotten the wrong person."

No... No way you could have gotten the wrong person... He looks just like how he was 15 years ago... Just maybe more matured, but his features never changed.

"No... You are Park Sunghoon... My childhood friend... No way I can't recognise you..."

"My name is Park Sungmin... I'm not your childhood friend... I don't have any memory of you Miss... Y/n..."

"But..."

You were about to continue but got stopped by Jungwon...

"Yah! Enough... Everyone is looking... Let's go back to the company first."

He pulled you back and whispered in your ears.

You looked at Sungmin again while tears were still in your eyes.

You saw how cold Sungmin'spair of eyes were staring at you...

You heart ached at the sight and you nodded at Jungwon's words.

You and Jungwon got into the car while Sungmin entered his car which were behind yours.

You put on your seat belt while thoughts were running in your mind.

"Why is he not admitting he is Park Sunghoon ?"

"What happened to him?"

"Are you okay?"

Jungwon asked you...

"I don't know... I don't know if i should be happy or sad..."

"He is your childhood friend? The one that you always told me about?"

"Mhm..."

"But i thought you said he was dead?"

"I don't know... I saw him fall into the river... And I never saw him again... So I took it that he was dead... But it seems like... That's not the case..."

You let out a huge sigh.

"Maybe you should rest for abit... I call you when we reach the company."

You nodded and closed your eyes.

You fell asleep pretty soon... And you had a dream.

You dreamt about the memories you and Sunghoon had when you were younger... Before he disappeared in your life.

[Flash Back]

"Yah Park Sunghoon! Come here you little-"

You shouted at the little boy who was running around in your small cabin.

"Bla bla bla! Come catch me! You are so slow!"

You chased Sunghoon around your small cabin while he made funny face to tease you.

That was the happiest time you had with him...

The scene sudden changed to when Sunghoon was pushed into the river by his step brother.

"You little brat! You are just a child that no one wants... You should just die!"

He said as he pushes Sunghoon into the river.

"NO!"

You screamed as you woke up from the dream.

"Oh my god, are you okay? Did you have nightmare?"

Jungwon slowly caressed your face while wiping the sweats on your forehead.

"Yeah... Just some childhood memories..."

You said as you tried to calm yourself by taking some deep breathes.

"Anyways, we have reached the company... Are you okay to continue today? Do you want to go home and rest?"

Jungwon is genuinely worried about you.

You have never shown such fragile side of you before.

"No.. it's okay I can continue..."

You reassured Jungwon with a smile that seemed so forced, but Jungwon just nodded his head as he knows that you are not gonna change your mind easily...

Seeing you in such state really breaks his heart.

He has known you for 7 years. Since high school. You have always been cheerful and always smiley... This is the first time you ever got affected by other things so badly.

But now he wonder, what actually happened between you and Sunghoon that you are so much affected.

"Sss... Seems like you are really something aren't you? Park Sungmin..."

He thought to himself while he followed behind you into the company.

You took out your phone from your pocket and took a look at the message.

It was from an unknown number.

Unknown: You look good in white dress.

You eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

Is this a prank? Or they just got the wrong number?

You looked around the mall and saw no suspicious looking person.

You: I think you got the wrong number.

The person immediately started typing as if he was waiting for your reply.

Unknown: You are Park Y/n aren't you?

Now you are creeped out.

You: who are you?

Unknown: You will know when time is right... For now... Just know that I love you... More than anyone on earth.

You off your phone and did not reply or look at the messages that were sent. You are getting stalked, and that is not very fun.

A tall figure, standing about 50 metres away from you, watched you closely every action you did.

As he watches you keep you phone, he sent his last message and kept his phone back into his pocket.
