Today we explored the beautiful city of Jerusalem... Or at least, we tried.. at some point we got to talk with a very nice shopowner in the old town, who kept us talking for over an hour and a half. It being Shabbat, we missed our last bus back to Tel Aviv.. causing us some challenge to get back, and totally took us off our exploration trip. The most southern city of Israel, Eilat is like an oasis, after driving through the Negev Desert for more than 4 hours, arriving here was absolutely rewarding. One of my favorite places to travel is not even 1000 kilometers from home. The beautiful Lac du Bourget is one of the treasures of the French Alps, and is the biggest natural lake of France. The best thing about this lake is that it is surrounded by the Alps, which means beautiful views all around.
