Series Summary: When a run goes poorly, and Daryl is separated from his group, a stranger and her companion help get him out of a sticky situation. Little does Daryl know this stranger is much closer to home, and his life is going to get a bit more complicated

This will follow the entirety of the show--so if you have not finished the show, there will be spoilers!! Plot arcs, events, and character deaths will be spoiled, so read at your own risk!
Warnings will be mostly chapter specific, but some general warnings for the story are adult language/content, sexual assault/mentions of assault, violence, descriptions of blood/injury, character deaths, and all of the typical TWD content. The story will mostly follow the TWD plotline with mild canon divergence. Therefore there will be plot lines and dialogue from the show. Additionally, there will be background information for the reader and mild descriptions of her features, but they can be ignored! Basically, the reader is almost like an oc, but self-insert for the most part lol

The At-Home Traveler
So many of us in the world, probably the greatest majority of people, say we want to travel the world. We all want to view for ourselves all of the exotic places we see on television, in magazines, on the web, etc. The sad fact is that most never get the opportunity. At best, we get to travel to places that might be a couple hours from home for a small little vacation. Money and day-to-day grind are the biggest barriers for people to be able to do so. Here's the thing, though...we can ALL become travelers, right in our own backyard. You might think you know all that your hometown has to offer, but do you really?
I live in a very small town, less than 2,000 people throughout the area that calls my zip code home. We are surrounded by some of the most gorgeous views around, the amazing Appalachian Mountains, but not all of us have seen every little nook and cranny our area has. We all know the biggies – Pine Mountain State Resort Park, Cumberland Gap National Park, Cannon Creek Lake, etc. However, there is much more to each of these areas, and indeed throughout the county, that most never see.
The purpose of this blog is to get the word out about, not only my little neck of the woods, but also about other places that the world has left behind. The places that are off the beaten path, which is great for you, because you'll have less tourists to contend with!
The plan is to bring you something new every week, whether it be about my little slice of Heaven, or somewhere close, so you can see why I say we should all be vacationing starting at home, before we move on to the rest of the world!
