I noticed a shirt from the University-pack that reminded me of the shirts with low collar that male workers used to wear way back.
Example:

In reality the shirts weren’t as tight as the one from the University-pack and had wider arms, but I don’t know a thing about meshing so this is just a simple recolor. :)
Comes with 13 swatches (3 striped, 6 checkered and 4 with plain texture).

Carte de Visite/Cabinet cards
Tumblr media
The carte de visite (French: [kaʁt də vizit], visiting card), abbreviated CdV, was a type of small photograph which was patented in Paris by photographer André Adolphe Eugène Disdéri in 1854, although first used by Louis Dodero.
Each photograph was the size of a visiting card, and such photograph cards were traded among friends and visitors. Albums for the collection and display of cards became a common fixture in Victorian parlors. The immense popularity of these card photographs led to the publication and collection of photographs of prominent persons.
By the early 1870s, cartes de visite were supplanted by "cabinet cards", which were also usually albumen prints, but larger, mounted on cardboard backs measuring 110 mm (4.5 in) by 170 mm (6.5 in). Cabinet cards remained popular into the early 20th century, when Kodak introduced the Brownie camera and home snapshot photography became a mass phenomenon.

Just a tiny object I felt missing in my game. It’s 3 recolors of “Wealth of the moon”, so it only requires base game.
Note
Some weird clipping in the EA-object that drops a shadow and on some surfaces, not all for some reason, it cuts the second picture. I might redo theese when I find a better mesh. When I’m not lazy I can probably also do them with Sims and not real people to make them true Maxis-match.

I have recolored the hanging wall display and the standing card display with real vintage greeting cards. The recolors include themes of christmas, easter, valentines, new years and birthday-cards.
The standing cards have two recolors with black santas.
A few recolors of the standing cards are more mid-centuryish-themed than late1800s/early 1900s.
Note that I sadly discovered in-game that the the standing cards turned out to have a really low detail display, as you can see in the preview-picture. :-( This is EAs fault and I noticed it’s the same problem with the original object (they do look alright if you do not zoom in to much...) . The pictures I have used were of pretty good resolution, so it dosen’t have to do with the pictures. Se example:

Because of this I didn’t wanted to upload them at first but here they are anyway. The Wall display does not have this problem.

This is a recolor of the Clothesline from Laundry Day to better match historical game plays.
Note:
When you are hanging the clothes to dry it will still be EA original (couldn’t find out why), but as soon as you have finished hanging the clothes it will turn into my recolor like in the prev-pic.
* Laundry Day is required

Recolor of Casual Regency Dress
Tumblr media
Hi!
Today I have a recolor of Casual Regency Dress by @historicalsimslife. It comes in 14 different swatches.
Note:
Mesh is not included. Download here.
The mesh sadly has a gap-problem, and it’s a problem with the mesh and not my recolor... see pic. But it’s only noticeable when zoomed in.

Enjoy!

So this is my first recolor, yay! This box is the reason to why I recently started to learn how to recolor for Sims 4. Since I mostly play The Sims with historical themes, I have been looking all over for a less plastic recolor of the Seasons deco box but with no luck. So I decided to finally do my own! Not the best result since being a first recolor but it does the job. :)
I’m planning on doing more recolors for it, but this will do for now.
Note:
Seasons is required, ofc.
Inside is not recolored.
The recolored object is standalone. You will find it next to EA:s orginial box. Don’t know how to make object swatches yet, will update the package when I do.
Please contact me if there is any problems with it.
Don’t claim as your own.
Enjoy!
