Snippet Time!!
coz this made me giggle while writing at midnight XD
The next morning when Harry makes his way downstairs, Louis is already at the buffet station getting his breakfast.
“Good morning Harold.” He greets in a chirpy voice.
“My name’s not really Harold, you know. It’s just Harry.”
“Nah but Harold’s cuter. You’re just a little Harold.” Louis says, smiling wide.
“I’m bigger than you Lewis.”
“It’s not the size that matters, Harold.” He says faux innocently, batting his eyelashes and Harry’s face heats up at the innuendo.
“Shut up. Move over. Let me get my sausages.” And as soon the words leave his mouth, he realises what he’s said and beside him Louis doubles over laughing, actually making the ha-ha-ha sound as his eyes crinkle in the corners, even deeper than when he smiles.
“Harr Harr. You're twelve.” Harry deadpans.
“Hey. You’re the one who said it.” Louis says through his laughter, his face full of mirth and Harry can't help but grin even as he rolls his eyes.

“Did you have another fight with Harry?” Liam asks as they move away from everyone, into the kitchen.
“No. Why?” Louis says, perplexed.
“He looks ready to murder you.” Liam subtly looks over towards Harry and sure enough, his gaze on Louis is intensely unwavering.
“Or well, fuck you senseless.” Zayn chimes in with the most absurd possibility before Louis can think of a reply.
“What? Shut up. He does not want to fuck me senseless.”
“Then you can fuck him senseless.”
“Nobody is fucking anybody senseless.” Even the mere notion is enough to make his eyes roll up into their bloody sockets.
“Doesn't mean you don't want to though.” Liam smirks like a true traitor. He really ought to make new friends.
“I'm leaving.” Louis deadpans. He is not going to dignify their idiocy with responses anymore.

chapter two is also almost done! think i'm making quick progress now. the first 5k words took everything in me to write. every ounce of energy. it was exhausting honestly but after that I didn't even feel it as I wrote the last almost 9k words. it just poured out of me. fingers crossed it keeps that way so I can actually finish in time 😭🤞

finally getting somewhere. the actual challenge has finally begun. just about. I feel like, as this is a reality show au, the first chapter was probably the hardest to write. almost 6k words, explaining the format of the show, describing the set, the layout, introducing the contestants' characters. phew! but now, finally I can begin writing "the action" tomorrow. hopefully this momentum continues!
