Can you do a Mike + alters, Scott, Alejandro (seperate) x reader where the reader has really bad sensory issues, especially with loud noises, and can have panic attacks from them? if your not okay with writing this then that’s totally fine /gen. it’s important to take care of yourself.

Mike

dealing with a traumagenic disorder (DID) I would imagine he's honestly kind of in the same boat.

He's no stranger to panic attacks, and is pretty well versed by now in how to deal with them.

The first time it happens though he's sort of an anxious wreck, he's just nervous that trying to help might make it worse, but he doesn't want to leave your side.

He gives you lot's of words of encouragement, and helps you through breathing exercises, and gets you plenty of water.

"It's okay, breathe with me, I'm right here," he assures you gently.

If you require pressure/physical contact during your panic attacks, he's more than happy to give you that.

He gets good at catching them too, he'll always be able to identify when you're about to spiral because of too much noise or too bright lights, and he'll find a quiet secluded room so he can work through it with you.

"Sorry you have to deal with this too," you said, after a particularly bad one, you still felt dizzy, and tears still stained your face, but you had come out of it now, and felt a little guilty.

"Hey don't apologize, I don't mind. Not at all."

He's just very caring with this kind of stuff in general.

Manitoba

Maintoba is similar to Mike, and I would think he likes to carry around a backpack whenever he is fronting (you never know when you're going to run into treasure). So he always keeps noise canceling headphones and a pair of sunglasses in there just for you.

Honestly I headcanon him as the caretaker of the system, so I imagine he's used to caring for people during panic attacks.

He's very observant, probably even more so than Mike, so he's better at avoiding them all together by identifying what situations you can handle and what you can't.

He always does a little research before the two of you go out in the environment to ensure that it doesn't seem loud/bright/overstimulating.

However sometimes these things are just unavoidable, and inevitable.

He'll provide you with whatever physical comfort you require, if any at all.

Anything you need, he's there to get for you.

"Take all the time in the world treasure, I'll still be here," he said.

He's all around good at keeping you grounded, and just good at being there with you.

Svetlana

I would think Svetlana is probably the protector/gatekeeper, most of her comfort comes from her just being fiercely loyal.

She'll be there no matter what, and you take great comfort in that fact.

She's not as good with being traditionally comforting, since it's a little out of her element.

Not that she doesn't try of course, she really cares about you, and she wants that to come across.

(I would think she would panic a little and ask Manitoba and Mike for help from the inner world).

But she would absolutely stay with you, coaching you through breathing exercises, talking to try and distract you.

Eventually if you let her know what you need (be it space, a distracting, physical comfort, quiet, dark) you name it, she will get it for you.

She's much better at caring for you after the panic attack honestly, when you feel really tired and put out, disoriented and just overwhelmed.

"Svetlana's here now to melt all your worries away," she smiled at you once.

She'll almost always bring you home, or take you to a secluded room, and just hangout with you. She'll turn all the lights off and sit in silence with you so you can have basically zero sensory input for a little while.

She'll absolutely stay with you until you feel yourself again.

Mal

Okay things with Mal are a little tricky.

He's for sure a former prosecutor and after a bit of system healing, definitely prosecutor turned protector.

Don't get me wrong though, he can still be a little nasty and snarky sometimes, but he's working on getting better.

Which is why he feels sort of out of his element when he's with you when you're having a panic attack.

He's not good at being comforting, and he barely knows what to do when he has a panic attack, so the first time it happens he completely freezes up.

He might even let someone else front to help you out instead of him.

After a while he gets better at keeping up with your triggers, and while he remains pretty awful at being comforting, he's good at grounding you.

He's glad sometimes that being there is enough sometimes, he doesn't know what he'd do if it wasn't.

"Sorry I can't do more..." he said one day.

You smile at him "You being here is enough sometimes."

Scott

Scott is also somewhat of a wreck I would imagine.

Growing up fairly isolated on a farm he's understandably really rough with being intune with people's emotions, he's not really all that good at reading you. Or anyone for that matter.

The first few times, he's shocked everytime.

What could be making you feel like this? He had no idea.

He would definitely need a list of all of your triggers, you have to tell him what helps you and what doesn't outright. Scott doesn't really like playing guessing games, especially when it comes to your safety and comfort.

Clear communication becomes pretty important for the two of you in all honesty, and the two of you work at it all the time.

Eventually he gets better at serving you during panic attacks, or meltdowns, he knows what to do after a little while.

Again I would think he's really good at protecting, so I think he's super good at keeping people away when he sees you're overstimulated.

"Don't touch them!" he huffed when someone was trying to tap you to get your attention.

Overall, he's really really trying for you, and knowing that is comfort enough.

Alejandro

It's no secret that Alejandro is very intune with people, just one of his many skills.

So he can tell right away from his very first meeting you, any loud noises, bright lights, things like that just don't mix well with you.

He steers clear of them when around you, always guiding you more towards quieter, much calmer and secluded dates.

When driving he turns the music down, and makes sure that all audio input looks like its helping you and not harming you.

Plus I feel like (and this is totally me projecting btw) he would carry around stim toys for you to distract yourself with, and headphones for when things are a lot.

But again, sometimes things just happen, and try as he might to protect you, it's not always possible.

He can always tell when things are getting to be a lot for you, he's good at reading everyone but you in specific.

He's really good at covering for you, if someone is asking where you are, or needs/wants to talk to you when you need to be alone he'll keep them away from you.

He'll spend as much time as you need helping you.

"Are you feeling better mi amor?" He would ask.

"Almost-" you said, voice a little course and shaky "-sorry," you said softly.

"Don't apologize, I don't mind at all."

Alejandro can be really nurturing when he wants to be.

He might deny it, deny it to the ends of the earth but he's very good at taking care of you.

Honestly I would think that Noah is not all that jealous most of the time.

He just strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't notice or care about that kind of stuff.

Well until one day when there is someone who is just so obviously flirting with you.

You don't notice of course, and he knows that.

It's been hours too since you'd come over to check in with him, something the two of you did at social gatherings a lot, so when this stranger has taken your attention for as long as they have, yeah he's a little annoyed.

He's not usually one for PDA but in this situation I would think he'd walk over and put your arm around your waist subtly.

"That's exactly why- oh, hi Noah," you chuckled, surprised by his sudden appearance.

"hi," he said simply, glaring daggers at whoever you were talking to.

"Well... I'm just going to- go."

With that they're gone, and Noah smiles a little triumphantly.

"Did you need something?" You asked curiously.

"No it's just you were talking to that mouth breather forever," he says rolling his eyes.

The gears turn in your brain for a few seconds before you piece together the puzzle "oh my god, Noah you were actually jealous?!"

You can't help but laugh a little lightly, as he goes red in the face.

"No I wasn't!"

"You were! Awww, that is super cute!" You exclaim, pulling him closer.

He huffs softly, deciding it's not worth it to fight with you on this.

"Whatever, can we leave now?" He says.

"Sure we can, wouldn't want me talking to anyone else would you?" You tease.

"I wasn't jealous!"

Hello anon! I got this request already but not all the same characters are included so Courtney, Gwen and Heather are linked here! Sky and Cody for this prompt below the cut! enjoy!

Sky

Being heavily competitive, she's not in this game for the heart to hearts.

I would imagine it would take a lot for her to notice something like this, but as she started to fall for you it would become more and more apparent to her.

Based on everything that happened to Dave I also feel like she would not really ever officially confess to you, trying to keep things relatively professional, so to speak.

It wasn't until one day when she was talking to you (or rather strategizing) that she realized how deep it really ran.

"I probably shouldn't go first," you say.

She nods "you're right, you're probably our strongest player for this next challenge. We should finish strong so you should go last."

You gave her a forced smile then explained "I know you really care about winning... maybe I should just go in the middle or something."

You were terrified of screwing things up, but even more so of screwing things up for Sky. It'd be your funeral if you messed things up for her.

Meanwhile Sky is trying to figure out how you could see it fit to hide your skill, she's upfront about what she's good at, never shy about it, and she doesn't see any reason why you shouldn't be the same.

"Well that's ridiculous. I mean if you want to throw, sure you can go in the middle. We're in it to win it though, right?" She says elbowing you playfully.

Sky tries to uplift you by letting you take the lead when you offer it, and I would imagine the two of you would become sort of the unspoken leaders of your team.

Nobody makes any decisions without discussing it with the two of you first.

Cody

Cody is absolutely stunned by everything you're amazing at, absolutely in awe of it every time.

He's even more amazed that you give him the time of day, especially since you're so cool, and skilled, and he's so- well not. (sorry cody <3)

He tries to impress you always, literally at every turn.

He ends up embarrassing himself at tasks you could've cleared in under a minute while he's struggling with it for up to ten.

But to you it is oddly endearing.

He never has any reason to believe you don't know how utterly amazing you are.

Until one day he's trying again, trying to lift up the canoe to shove it into the water.

You're watching him struggle, but it would be beyond rude to offer to do it instead, so you just sit.

He sighs sliding down against the beach floor "ugh. You had better just save me any more humiliation and help me now."

"What? I think you've got it."

He scoffed, turning towards you "just do it will you?"

He got into the boat grumpily, and you easily slid the both of you into the water and started rowing.

"Why do you let me do that when you could've easily just slid us into the water. We're so behind now."

I think maybe he takes your silence as if you're making fun of him or something.

"I didn't think I could," you shrug.

"But you're so amazing at like, everything."

You hum softly a bit instead of responding.

"You had better know that by now," he scolds a little bit, catching onto your self conscious attitude.

"Whatever you say," you say quietly.

After that he's more determined than ever to show you off, and compliment and praise you over every little thing, no matter how simple, or silly it is.

He just wants you to see yourself how he sees you.

Bonus: What if reader/camper did get together in that one season, only for next season to have a love triangle form involving another character. The camper is aware of said triangle forming though reader might be oblivious due to now having eyes only for first camper. What'd this be like for different people?

u guys r really feeding me with these prompts I can't even lie this one was a little tricky with all these moving parts! Sorry if some of these are a little angsty and don't really have happy (per say) conclusions, but I'm just doing what I think best fits the character! I only write pure fluff if that what im given. I hope you enjoy anyways anon!

Courtney

Courtney is beyond stricken when she sees you.

What are the odds you both would have signed up for the same shitty reality tv show?

Well, high as Courtney would tell you. You always were very similar even back when you were inseparable as children.

You knew Courtney was always very fond of you before you moved away, so the reunion is very sweet, and heartfelt.

The two of you attempt to spend a lot of time catching up on what you missed out on after you had moved, but on the show there isn't much time for it.

Courtney can't help but think about how absolutely heartbroken she was when you moved away.

I would think with Courtney's determined attitude (plus based on what she says to Gwen during their friendship) she has made too many friends.

So when you moved away, especially since she was little, it sort of felt like the end of the world to her.

I imagine you being around is wildly distracting for her. Despite her returning romantic feelings.

You were the only person who ever had that type of close vulnerable relationship with her, she would do anything to please you, receive attention from you, or keep you in the game.

All of it leads to some very undesirable slip ups from her, which with you is how I imagine she goes home on the island.

She watched you as she got pulled away, she's not going to leave it unsaid this time, she remembers what that feels like, she remembers how isolating and awful it feels.

"I'm going to miss you ______!" She called out to you from the end of the doc of shame.

You waved wildly "I'm going to win this for you Courtney!" You call back.

"No- I mean! I'm going to miss you because I'm in love with you!"

You stand there stunned as she boards the boat and calls out one final thing "You had bet your butt you'll win this for me! I just confessed my love to you on live television!"

You try to call back that you feel the same, but Chris does what Chris does best and gets in the way of a good time. Even if the boat hadn't driven her off before you got the chance to confess back, the motor is loud enough to where she probably couldn't hear you anyways.

By action, you two have fully discussed your feelings, and how everything should go now that you're into each other but still competitors.

You both agree that your first real official date should be after the show is over, so while things aren't technically official by next season, you two are undoubtedly interested in each other and therefore not getting involved with anyone else.

You stick true to that, but Courtney can see Duncan keeps looking at you, and she's not stupid, she would know that punks gazes in and out.

She doesn't bring it up to you, she knows you're generally very dense about those kinds of things.

But eventually, she can't take it anymore and her jealousy starts driving her mad.

She declares that you two are official, and that you very much are dating, which causes some tension between the two of you during action since you both agreed it just wasn't a good idea.

After some fighting, fighting, and more fighting eventually it's you this time taking the walk of shame to the lame-ousine.

Courtney fights her way to you.

"I'm sorry, I didn't expect it to play out this way!" She says sorrowfully.

But you did, you know just how Courtney is, you know how she gets, and while you didn't fully understand why she did what she did you could've guessed that some kind of fight was inevitable. Plus you know how she gets during competitions.

"Hey don't sweat it," you smile "now that I'm not technically on the show, I don't have as much of a problem doing this-" you say and bring her in for a short and sweet kiss.

After years of waiting for this moment, Coutney can't help but freeze up.

You pull away, and head towards the lame-ousine as she calls "I'll win this for you!"

"You had better win this for me! I just kissed you on live television!" You say smiling as you duck into the back seat.

Gwen

Gwen feels nothing but nervous when reuniting with you.

She was happy to see you sure, but her anxiety held her back in how she displayed that happiness.

She's mainly worried that too much time has passed since the two of you knew each other, and that the two of you won't have anything to talk about anymore.

Eventually the two of you slump back together and things go back to the way that they were before you had moved away.

Another reason she was desperately trying to avoid you at first is because of the huge massive crush she used to have on you.

And dang it of course you had to get cuter as you got older!

Just as she realizes that those feelings for you are slipping out of hiding, is also when she realizes that it's already too late.

Once again the two of you are glued at the hip, just like how it used to be.

You, being who you are and were, are wildly oblivious to these feelings because of course you are.

Gwen isn't one to wear her heart on her sleeve, and even though you two are close she is less so with you, she's been burned before, she's not letting that happen again.

The two of you are sitting next to each other at the talent show when it happens.

Heather goes up on stage and says "Originally I was going to dance for you, but instead I want to celebrate team spirit with a collaboration" She holds up a dark notebook with an evil look plastered on her face.

Gwen seems to recognize it and instantly freezes up "Gwen? Are you okay?" You asked, knowing immediately something was off.

"She wouldn't," she says, and then braces herself.

"So with words by Gwen, performance by me, enjoy."

She cleared her throat before beginning "Okay so I've been trying to ignore them. But they're just so cute! I know it's been forever since we've seen each other and in that time they have gotten so hot! Out of all my childhood friends, of course it had to be them."

Gwen dashes away from the bleachers, and Heather seems satisfied.

Of course you run after Gwen to comfort her.

She lamented on and on about how you must think she's such a creep now, and was acting like a total school girl, still writing in a diary.

But of course you didn't feel like that at all, this was Gwen you were talking about here. The cool, collected, funny quiet girl, and you were obsessed with her.

You two start getting a little more romantic after that, and Heather seeing her plan to drive a wedge between the two of you did not work realizes she has to get her hands messy and plays a little bit more of a direct role in getting you eliminated.

It's a sorrowful goodbye until you see her again in action.

Bridgette

Reuniting with Bridgette is nothing but vibes.

She's beyond stoked to see you again, and even more stoked to ride the wave with you again.

I imagine the two of you met at the beach, and it was love at first sight for her.

You two click all over again like no time has gone past, and she fills you in on every little thing you've missed.

Things are super cut and dry with Bridgette, no mess, nothing but chillness.

She makes her feelings pretty clear, with some hints and stuff.

She learned her lesson the first time, letting you leave without having ever told you how she really felt hurt in ways she wasn't ready to feel again.

But if you don't pick up on it she'll just flat out tell you.

"I'm not doing this cause you're my team mate, I'm doing it cause I like you. You dork."

"I like you too Bridge, you know that."

"Not like that-!" She exclaimed, splashing you playfully, rocking the canoe as she did "-like like like you."

You stare at her in disbelief for a moment.

"what?!" you exclaim.

"Do you not feel the same?" She frowned.

"No I do... I just wasn't expecting-" she cuts you off tackling you rocking the whole boat as she does.

The rest is history and you two are pretty much inseparable from that point onward.

Up until World Tour, where Alejandro starts becoming a plane wide problem.

He tries targeting you at first, but youre so in love with Bridgette he can't get any headway.

But Bridgette being stuck on an opposing team leaves her exposed to his manipulation, he lies about you and makes her question her loyalty.

After she gets stuck to a pole, you find her, but when she explains what happened you just feel so hurt and betrayed that you leave her in the dust (or well, snow).

After a world tour it takes a lot of apologizing and healing to get over what happened between the two of you but you're both determined to make it work so you both put your strongest foot forward and work at it.

Heather

Heather is absolutely stunned when she sees you.

You greet her excitedly when she hits you with a "hello? Earth to nerd, I don't know you!"

That's enough to keep you away from her for a while.

She 100% is only pretending not to know who you are, but what choice did she have? She couldn't risk her feelings for you returning and ruining her chances at winning.

Close tender friendships like you used to have were bad for her image now, she had an impression to keep in this competition and she'd be dead in the ground before she let you or anyone else come in the way of that.

Her tenderness for you starts to show through and through though, you know her like the back of your hand, still, even after all these years.

You'd recognize those glances anywhere, and you knew it meant more than just being a strong team mate when she would point out all the ways in which you did well in the challenges. She was trying to keep you in the game.

The two of you never have any heart to hearts, nothing like that anyways.

She never reveals that she does remember you, not even as you watch her fade into the horizon on the boat of losers.

World tour she's more determined than ever, you've never seen her so deranged to win.

I'd imagine the love triangle would have more to do with her and Alejandro then you and anyone else.

She becomes torn between the two of you, and the inherit struggle in trying to pick over someone who actually matched her wit, and her childhood best friend and longest crush.

She makes her decision when she inevitably votes you out.

"Heather... you voted for me?" You asked, heart breaking, eyes already feeling wet.

She scoffs, "Don't take it so personally."

You sniffle a little bit, and then shake your head "I should've known better than to fall for your two faced snake self twice." You spit.

And with that you're gone.

She's not stupid, she's not forgetful either, and you knew that she knew just what "twice" really meant.

But she'd dug her grave now, she would just have to hope it could hold a million bucks.

Duncan

The meeting with him is very awkward I'd imagine.

He'd likely pretend not to know you until he can get a moment alone with you.

I would imagine he's largely embarrassed of your relationship due to the fact that he met you before his Juvie days, and you were one of the only people who had known him before he became nothing more than a delinquent.

So yeah, he's hell bent on making sure people don't find out about you two knowing each other.

But we all know deep down Duncan is a totally sweetie, even if it is deep, deep, deep down. His affection for you is bound to show one way or another.

Ever the observant one I'm sure it was Courtney who noticed first, marveling at how strange it was that you two of all people had romantic feelings for each other.

She urged the two of you together, subtly, attempting to be your sort of wingman, unbeknownst to even you.

Eventually Duncan works towards getting her voted out because of this, he's so obsessed with keeping his bad boy persona he'd do just about anything in this competition to keep it up. Even risk losing a million big ones.

You knew something was fishy about Courtney getting voted, but you couldn't put your finger on what. At least not until you heard him in the confessionals.

"I had to get that Courtney chick voted out, she was getting too close. I hate people who get to close,"

"Duncan!" you exclaim.

You can hear him mutter curses from the outhouse.

"Forget it! You know I can't believe I was actually starting to like you again!"

After that it's a nonstop battle for Duncan to win back your affections.

I would imagine the love triangle would consist of you, Duncan, and of course, Courtney.

She would start falling for you based on the way you shamelessly defended her despite your feelings for Duncan.

Only problem for you was those feelings hadn't exactly gone away since last season, and you were still very much into him.

You three fight a lot, and are the reason all three of you end up going home.

Which leaves nothing but time to work out your messy feelings for Duncan, and his for you.

But maybe time is really all the two of you need.

Izzy

Izzy is a bit of a wild card (obviously).

I feel like reuniting with her is just super duper chaotic, and very overwhelming at first.

She wants to fill you in on every little detail in her life within the same second she sees you again.

But you remember how to rein her in, she really hasn't changed much from the chaotic messy kid she was. (save for being a criminal now (whoops!)).

You being in the challenge with her would keep her much more rallied and motivated towards an understandable goal.

She can feel those intimate feelings creeping back, but she isn't shy with it.

I imagine she probably would've confessed to you once before, when you first moved, only neither of you wanted to try out long distance and thought it might only ruin what a good friendship you had. So through your move you decided to just stay friends.

You don't get long to sit and wonder about if those feelings still linger for her as they do for you when she abruptly asks

"So hey, are you interested in dating during the competition?" she asked, sitting beside you, anything but shy.

"What?"

Izzy was nothing if not explorative, she collected new experiences like pokemon cards, and she wanted to live fully every part of life.

"It might be a little bit messy. But I think maybe it could work, if all that was keeping you was distance the first time... well... I'm here now."

She stares at you with an expectant kind of rare almost nervous look, and though the confession is anything but picturesque, with her, it's perfect.

I think the love triangle would come in with her next season with maybe Alejandro falling for you.

Hard to say whether his attempts at flirting are due to advancing in the game, or genuine attraction. Either way you have trouble picking up on it, especially when things are going so well with Izzy.

I wouldn't say Izzy isn't a jealous person, I just think she could fall either way, depending on the person, depending on the day, the humidity in the air, basically on nothing at all. She's nothing if not erratic.

With Alejandro, she might be inclined to threaten him with her license to kill depending on her mood, and depending on what he tries to pull with you.

Cody

The reunion with Cody is one that is very heartfelt, and he instantly lights up upon seeing you.

You can see that he's fairly committed to his "too cool for school" schtick, so having any genuine connection with him might be a little tricky.

He's one person I feel like would have definitely tried to keep in contact with, it wasn't anything like every day phone calls, but the two of you had definitely spent at least some time sending letters back and forth.

So when you too meet there isn't a lot of catching up to do, only some.

He's overall very excited to see you back, and you know him enough to know that, even if he's refusing to show it.

You can feel those creeping feelings sneak up on you until the hit you smack in the face during one of the challenges.

"Cody!" you exclaimed during one of the challenges as he hit the ground hard.

"I'm fine," he lied, his voice strangled, the wind having been knocked out of him wholly.

You helped him up, and picked up a piece of paper that had tumbled out of his pocket and went bouncing a few feet.

At first you mistake it for trash, but with the way that even injured and put out Cody grabs for it, you figure it must be something good.

You were due for a little bit of teasing when you decided to open it, only to realize that it was a letter from you.

It's an old one, a really old one, perhaps even the first one you'd ever sent.

"Uhhh... how'd that get in there!?" He exclaims, swiping it out of your hands which are too stunned to fight against it.

Realization dawns on you just as quickly, there is only one reason he'd would've kept that with him after all those years.

"Oh my god Cody, you like me!"

The rest is history, and you two start dating among the challenges.

The conflict would come with Sierra I would think, who's hell bent on breaking you two apart.

All of her attempts fall flat unfortunately for her, and you two stand as one of the more healthy and strong relationships within the show.

I just came across your content and I must let you know that the way you write the characters is very accurate and pleasing to read!! <333 Could you please write romantic headcanons for Gwen, Tyler, Harold and Cody with reader (fem or gn Idc) that is the goofy sweetheart kind? Like super fan of physical affection, sweet and super understanding and respectful of boundaries and who loves to make them smile and laugh (and who herself/themselves is always laughing and smiling).

Gwen

Gwen probably takes a bit of warming up to the idea of someone who is just so unapologetically themselves and respectful. She almost just doesn't trust it.

It takes her a while to warm up to the physically affectionate part, but you're super intune with other people's emotions so you know better than to overstep.

She's so in awe of how you find every single one of her jokes funny, you laugh at things she didn't even think were all that funny.

You live to make her genuinely laugh, it doesn't happen that often, and since she's pretty reserved she stifles her laughter a lot.

You always tell her that it might not be so bad around you.

"You know it might be nice to hear you laugh for a change," you say in a lightly teasing manner, after you had just died of laughter over a joke she told.

"No way, I'm mysterious and quiet, remember?" She says, jokingly.

You chuckle a little more "don't tell me, you're afraid of getting smile lines like Mclane?"

She always loved to make fun of Chris with you, and she's struggling to breathe after you continue to lightly razz him.

"You don't think I'm being too nasty do you?" You asked softly after saying something that was just a little rude, even if it was Chris.

She snorts "You? I don't think you're capable of being too nasty. Or nasty at all for that matter."

The two of you pause for a moment giggling softly, as she elbows your side "maybe I am rubbing off on you just a little bit though."

Eventually she would warm up to the physical affection for sure, you just feel so safe to be around for her it's kind of hard not too.

Tyler

Tyler absolutely loves it

He loves your sunny and giggly disposition so much it makes him so happy to be around you always.

He loves physical affection too, and he loves even more than he doesn't have to be the one to start it.

I think he's probably used to being in relationships where he has to play the super manly role and do all the heavy lifting for a lot of the stuff, being the jock that he is.

But let's face it our boy is a big silly bimbo he just wants to chill and let you take the lead.

So he loves when you are super cuddly, and that you always ask to see what he likes, and that he can just be himself.

He'll laugh at every single one of your jokes, even if he doesn't get it at all.

"One sec babe, I gotta go to the bathroom," he said one day standing up from the couch

"Okay, don't fall in," You chuckle.

He laughed for a little bit until saying "I don't get it, fall into what?"

you just smile at him "don't worry about it, go do your business."

He smiles and jogs down the hall.

Harold

Harold likes to be taken seriously, surprisingly.

It's just that he's used to generally being treated like a joke, so he's really sensitive to being laughed at, something you pick up on right way.

You always make a note to make sure he really is making a joke before you laugh at anything he says, since sometimes with his past experiences it can come off (at least to him) as you tease him.

But he loves that you're always trying to make him laugh, with jokes that aren't about him, and aren't poking fun at him or his interests.

It takes him a little bit to get used to not being the butt of the joke with you, but after a while he gets it and feels much more comfortable with you.

He absolutely loves how physically affectionate you are, he is too, so it works out perfectly!

He loves holding hands with you, sometimes you'll take his hand in yours while he's talking.

He was rambling one day when you soundlessly slid your hand in his.

"What?" You chuckled softly "I was just getting invested."

"Really? You actually think this is interesting?"

You laughed a little bit and shrugged "well, duh."

He smiled at you before continuing his rant.

Cody

When I say this boy is obsessed.

He himself is always putting on his "cool boy" persona, so he very much appreciated getting to turn that side of him off when around you.

He laughs at every single one of your jokes, he thinks you're the funniest person around!

"I'm serious, you should do stand up or something," he suggests after absolutely crying laughing over a joke you told.

Despite having a very muted interest in that you smile at him "Really? You think so?"

"I do!" he really just thinks the world of you.

He likes being silly with you too, just leaning against each other, riffing off one another.

He likes that you're physically affectionate too, god please hold this boy.

He likes it best when you hold your arm around him when you walk, or when you two are talking slowly start to cuddle up against him.

You'll pretty much never hear him complain about it!

How'd things develop?

Courtney

Everyone knew you were amazing and gifted, everyone.

A fact not gone unnoticed by Courtney. (She’s got an eye for these things, she used to be a CIT after all).

At first she uses you for a little bit of extra leverage during the challenges, but after a bit felt too guilty to continue to do so.

So as a sort of apology she wanted to spend more time getting to know you as a person, rather than just a tool that everyone in the competition had been utilizing.

She sat beside you on the cabin steps one night, after you had absolutely crushed it yet another challenge.

“Really great work today, I’m impressed,” she said, putting a hand on your back.

You couldn’t help but recoil just the slightest bit, but tried to play it off with a smile “uh. Yeah, sure.”

It wasn’t great work, not to you. You saw all your little slip ups, your stress. No less than anyone else’s, you saw it when you fell, or when you tripped. It was an awful effort.

Courtney mistook your self consciousness as humility and so she smiled at you brighter “oh you don’t have to be modest around me you know? You’ve earned a bit of gloating.”

You chuckled a little albeit a bit emptily “do I? Really?” You just couldn’t help that self doubt seeping through a bit.

Courtney’s face changed at that, maybe it was your tone, or something in your eyes. But her expression softened.

“Hey- don’t be like that. Of course you do. You’re great, I mean- you’d have to be stupid to disagree with me on that,” she says with an assured expression.

You chuckled again, this time more amusing dances in your tone “stupid huh?”

She crossed her arms and gave you a pointed glare “I know a worthy competitor when I see one. And I definitely know refined skill when I see it too. You better not be getting cold feet on me now.”

You smiled at her, leaning towards her hand which was planted firmly on your back “no. No, of course not.”

“Well-“ she looks a little flustered, but beyond determined to keep her footing in the conversation “-good then. Better be on your A game again tomorrow.”

You watched her walk back into the cabins. Maybe if she thought you were something great, maybe you were.

Courtney goes out of her way from that conversation on to compliment you (something that is rare, and hard for her to do).

But she really likes you, and she wants you to see yourself the way she sees you.

Gwen

Gwen mainly hangs out with you for your snappy witty sense of humor.

She couldn’t stand to deal with anyone who couldn’t match her social wit.

But it’s not like she hasn’t seen you during challenges, you’re good, too good.

She’ll tease you about it to no end, you could never tell if it’s because she’s actually upset with you for winning challenges for the team, or if she just likes to get on your back about stuff.

“Wooow,” she deadpanned after watching you do one challenge that was particularly physically taxing.

“What?” You said lifting a brow at her.

She scrunches her face a little at you for a moment and then begins “oh nothing, but do you have to make the rest of us look bad while doing the challenges?” She laughs (somewhat evilly from your point of view)

You know she was just teasing you, she always is, but it hurts a little more.

“What?” She asks.

“Nothing.”

“No, seriously. Why do you have that look on?” She presses again, leaning over on her knees to get a good look at you.

“Nothing it’s just- it’s stupid,” you admit.

She snorts a little “from you? I doubt it.”

“It kind of freaks me out when you say stuff like that?”

She makes a face at that “why?”

You shrug “makes me feel like everyone is expecting something great from me that I can’t give.”

She stops chortling at you then, because she can see it plain as day written on your face. You’re not kidding.

You of all people worried about not being great? She could hardly believe her ears, she thought the world and moon of you, you were the only person at this shit hole camp who she could stand.

She punched your side lightly “you better not really believe that you know?”

“What, that I’m a fraud?” You say darkly.

She scoffs “you’re ridiculous you know that. You work harder than anyone else here to compete in these mind numbing challenges, and still you can’t see?!”

“Well I guess-“

“No, you guess nothing. Don’t you dare believe you’re anything less than what you are any longer.”

She said it with such a sense of finality it was hard to argue back with her. Impossible even.

“I knew you had a heart in there,” you smirk at her.

She goes red (which doesn’t take much honestly she’s paler than fresh printer paper) at that, and pushes you a little. “Shut up.”

After that she lays off comments like that, and you don't hear much teasing from her to anyone.

It feels a little weird at first, not getting teased, and even more shockingly getting a few compliments from her.

But the two of you slump into it after a while, and it becomes the new natural for your relationship.

Heather

Heather can read you like a book.

She knows right away that you’re useful, skilled, and have a strong self doubt about yourself.

(Sorry but yk our girl is evil, she definitely manipulates you especially if we’re talking island)

She definitely somehow pulls you into an alliance, and you kind of just float along with her for the most part.

You know it’s wrong the stuff she’s making you do to the other campers sometimes, but you glom onto her praise a little bit.

“You, I need you to go find Lindsay for me. We need to have an alliance meeting,” she demands hands on her hips.

"What for?" Heather seemed to get tripped up sometimes on even the smallest of things, sometimes it seemed like stupid things, but what did you know?

"What for? What for? Excuse me, hello, earth to _______! We totally bombed that last challenge in case you're not paying attention!"

"Right, sorry," you said in response.

That wasn't totally true though, we weren't right, more like they.

Not that you would ever correct anyone to say something that conceded, much less Heather (she'd kill you).

"What's that look for?" She demands.

"What? nothing," you assure.

She scoffs "So then what are you doing still on your butt? Go get Lindsay!"

Lindsay going against Heather in the end makes you turn on her the same, if it's someone Lindsay hates, they must be bad news. Not that you didn't already realize that, I just imagine that to be the final straw.

Oddly enough, after being with Heather makes your self worth increase.

Despite the fact that she verbally assaults you on a daily basis, it's easy to feel good about yourself since in comparison to Heather not only do you look even extra adequate in challenges, but you seem nicer too.

Jasmine

It doesn't take much to warm up to Jasmine, she's wildly easy going, kind, smart, and good at everything she tries.

You two click based on skill alone.

Being in Pahkitew requires a lot of athleticism, and a lot of survival instincts.

Being good with Jasmine is just common sense.

She's always giving you praise and compliments about everything you do, she's always delighted and amazed by your skill.

"Wow! Look at you, you're better than a bear on December first at foraging!" She said over her pile of berries.

"uh... sure," you shrug.

She gives you a look "What's that face for?"

"Nothing," you shrug, not wanting to give yourself away for the fraud you are.

"You should be proud, not everyone is a master forager right out of the gates."

You shrug again "it's just picking berries."

"Not quite, its picking the right berries,"

"...yeah" you say.

She stands up and looks at you with her hands on her hips "what's wrong?"

Jasmine is very good with people's emotions, she can always tell when something has shifted with someone. So there was no real use in hiding it.

"It's just... I feel weird accepting compliments from you sometimes," you admit.

"Why's that?"

"Cause I just feel like they're never really... deserved I guess."

Jasmine frowns down at you, and puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. I get it, you know? It can be hard to get to a point where you feel confident enough in yourself to accept that stuff. But you should know by now I'm not a liar, you wouldn't really think I'd say that stuff about just anyone, would you?"

"No... I guess not. But-"

"Right then, we'd better get these back to the team then, huh?"

She said and then pulled you along.

From that point on Jasmine would take extra note of when you were feeling particularly off and would try and nudge you into the right direction.

She'd always give you extra support, but it never sounded forced, or fake, with her things are always very natural I imagine.

With her things truly are a team effort especially after your heart to heart.

Zoey

Zoey always knows you will be there to save her, or help her when she needs help.

She is caring and sweet, and super cute, so of course you would go to great lengths to know and understand you.

I do think (solely based on how long things took with her discovering Mike's system) It would probably take you spelling anything like that out for her.

She's always impressed by your work, be it social, academic, physical, she's just impressed by you, through and through.

It was another night of lengthy praise from her, after you had rescued her from yet another fatal situation (why had you come on this show again?).

You could feel yourself growing more and more uncomfortable as compliment after compliment ticked on, you just couldn't live up to what she thought of you.

How could you? She over and over told you she thought the world of you, how could this pressure do anything but build and fester?

"Zoey! Please," you interrupt, trying not to let your outburst cost you the challenge.

"What?" she asked innocently.

"Nothing, it's just... It's kind of a lot," you admit. And you hate how weak it sounds, but you knew you needed to be direct with her.

"Oh no I'm sorry. The pressure is a lot for you I'd bet..." She said sort of sadly, shaking her head.

"Yeah, a little bit," you nodded.

She rubbed your back comfortingly "I promise I won't do that to you anymore. How about from now on we decide to expect less from each other?"

It sounded a bit strange, expecting less from your teammates should sound like a bad deal, but it's what you needed. On top of the fact that you felt like a big huge liar, you didn't need everyone expecting the world of you on top of that.

Things run a little more smoothly with your team from then on. Zoey finds unique ways to praise you that go unnoticed to you sometimes, and gives you as much support as you give to her.

Hey there!! Idk your taking request rn but can you write a Noah x reader for TDI where she’s on an opposing team and she’s really quiet but they kinda get to know each other and start liking eachother. Thanks!!

Noah with a quiet reader!

Yes I'm taking requests right now! Sorry if I've not gotten to yours yet! I promise I'm working through them! But tysm for this little rquest Anon!

We all know Noah can be a bit abrasive, and he definitely knows that, so shy and quite people are not usually his cup of tea.

Not that hes adamantly against you or nasty or anything, I just imagine he'd struggle a little bit doing all the heavy lifting in conversations. Usually he sticks to people who he can easily riff off of.

Plus we know our boy sticks to what he knows, so getting to know someone on the other team is a little tricky.

However I think you guys both gravitate towards each other during the challanges, and while Noah makes some snide remark about Chris or Heather and you laugh softly, he'd definitely take some sort of liking to you.

You like Noah because he's pretty outspoken about stuff, if something bothers him, he's not shy about it, so you attempting to be closer to him is no accident.

If there is ever a chance to be with the other team you take it to go and sit by Noah even if at first you don't really talk all that much.

Eventually he sort of pulls more out of you, and spends most of your time together trying to get you to laugh

He loves making you laugh, just so much.

He doesn't have much a problem after a certain point doing most of the talking in conversations with you, and you certainly enjoy just listening to his voice.

Noah is your biggest advocate, and wether it be due to shyness or just plain not wanting to talk Noah after awhile will be your voice for you.

Noah likes your sort of soft spoken quiet attitude, and it definitely mellows him out somewhat.

He also likes talking a lot, and enjoys someone who geniunely doesn't mind just sitting back and listening.

You both like each other, a lot and it’s not much of a secret.

But you just can't tell him about how you feel, there is too much pressure.

Ordinarily, Noah wouldn't be the one to lay it all on the line and confess.

But because of the type of person you are he decide's its better for the both of you if he's the one to confess.

After that it's mostly clumsily hiding that you're both dating someone on the opposite teams

I imagine it has largely to do with the both of your downfalls, unfortunatly.

But you can't stay mad about it for long, because after you both get voted from your respective teams you have plenty of time in Playa De Losers together.

Heather regretting her love of the game.

“Might I ask what you think it would be like if Heather and male reader got together late in a a season? Also if you dont mind a double prompt (sorry fi you do mind), how Heather would react if she realized the reader was about to be voted off by the others in an attempt to retaliate against something she did and yet she knows she can't stop the reader from being eliminated and wishes they weren't going to be eliminated.”

Yes ofc I’ve got such a soft spot for Heather so I’m super excited to write this!! Going to be writing this for world tour since I believe that to be her peak season.

Getting to know Heather through challenges is a tricky thing, that’s for sure.

Even harder yet is trying to get her to trust you throughout the filming of world tour.

But you’re nothing if not persistent.

You spend a lot of time earn her trust during the down time of the show, the stuff that seemed so boring the camera crew fell asleep. Flights between continents, waiting for the plane to refuel. All of that.

If you didn’t know her, you might mistake her softness for hatred, but that was her competitive side talking.

She doesn’t trust you yet, she wants to make sure you’re not doing this to gain, and even after everything you do time and time again she’s never fully convinced.

I also think it would be hard to tell wether or not things were ever really official for the two of you, she’s not a “wear my heart of my sleeve” kind of person. Especially when it might cost her the win, worse yet a million dollars.

But there is definitely a tenderness there for you that she doesn’t harbor for anyone else, not even Alejandro.

He tries time and time again to vote you out, he tries to rally the whole team against you in any sneaky, conniving way he possibly can.

But all of his attempts seem to fall flat. You can read it plain as day, you simply just being is driving him insane.

Heather pretends not to notice but she’s not stupid, not even close. She sort of likes it, having all the guys gunning for her.

Unfortunately in the end it’s her wrong doings that affect you the most.

Through backstabbing and lying, and cheating, Heather gets through another challenge and wins safety.

The cast is not happy with her (not that they ever are) but know they can’t vote out her.

So in a last ditch effort to make Heather falter it’s you who’s taking the drop of shame tonight.

You take one final look as you hold your parachute in hand and for once Heather looks shocked, guilty even if you know where to look.

“I just want to say-“ you don’t get to finish the thought before Chris steps in between the two of you.

“Eh eh- sappy goodbyes are bad for ratings, Caphice?” And with one final chuckle you’re sent out of the plane.

Later that night Heather goes to the confessionals sighing as she sits down.

“What was I supposed to do? Someone had to go, it wasn’t going to be me!” She bites her lip a little and then shakes her head “he was a distraction. Nothing more. Nothing less. I’m in it for the long run, for the million. Now if I could just get Alejandro the same way…”

She goes on without you, motivated as she is. But she’s a little stronger for knowing at least there’s someone on the outside rooting for her <3

Cuddling Headcanons

Just for some of my favs 🫶 not requested!

Justin, Noah, Trent, Alejandro, Courtney, Leshawna, Mike, and Manitoba

Justin

Really bad at accepting physical affection while the relationship is still fresh

He’s used to only being in relationships with people for publicity! He’s not really used to genuine displays of affection that exist only for the two of you

After awhile he warms up to cuddling a lot

He likes to hold his arms around you while sleeping

He usually likes to sleep directly on top of you almost crushing you with his weight

“I just can’t help it-“ he said one day laughing lightly “-you’re better than any bed I’ve ever had”

He’d never admit to the sappy crap but it relaxes him beyond belief to listen to your breathing

He also loves hearing you talk or rant about your day when you two cuddle

He also likes to hold your waist in any capacity, he’s almost always got one hand on your waist

Noah

Yeah unsurprisingly he’s not that big on it

If you insist however eventually he comes to kind of enjoy it

He’d never admit that though.

He really likes it when you run your hand through his hair you can always see the tension leave his body when you do

(Again he’d never admit that)

He’s really bad when he actually does want to cuddle because he’s horrible at asking for things

Usually he just sits there staring at you waiting for you to learn how to read minds

Eventually though you start to get the feel of when he wants you to just hold him.

He’ll front every time and complain the whole time but it’s a big ol’ lie

“Are you kidding me, again? You cling onto me like a baby opossum, it’s crazy,” he teased you one night.

“We don’t have to-“

You couldn’t even finish the thought before he cut in grabbing onto you “calm down it’s fine.”

Yeah Noah, we know it is.

Trent

Definitely one of the more emotionally secure guys

Has no problem from the very start crawling into bed with you and just absolutely (lovingly) crushing you with his arms

We all know our boy is just the least bit clingy so he’s always looking for some cuddles

He honestly doesn’t care the position, he’ll big spoon, little spoon, he’ll get right on top of you, or you on top of him, my boy is not picky.

Really just likes to be able to see you, and loves playing with your hair (if you choose to show it/have hair)

If not he’ll play with the fabric of your clothes

“Trent that tickles stop,” you say one night as he plays with the hem of your shirt

“One sec…” he says, his tongue out in concentration.

You don’t know what’s going on in that head of his, so you just leave it alone after that, he looks so happy and adorable who are you to come in the way of that?

He’s just obsessed with you, if you’re happy he’s happy.

Alejandro

When I say guarded.

Starting physical affection with him that is genuine and in no way shows anything to gain from him, or anyone else scares the shit out of him

He really just doesn’t trust it for the longest time.

If you want to cuddle with Alejandro there is only one word: patience.

You have to be ready to wait for him to be ready.

With his up bringing and his past relationships, cuddling just wasn’t a thing you did unless it was some sort of trap

SO WHEN I SAY CUDDLING WITH HIM FEELS BETTER ITS BECAUSE YOU EARNED THAT SHIT

When he finally feels fully safe around you, he’ll test the waters first by sleeping in the same room as you

(He’s like a cat in that way sleeping around you is a big sign of trust from him)

Then eventually he’ll do things like put his arm around you and pull you in closer.

He likes to be the big spoon definitely

But there are certain occasions where he’ll settle for the other way around

He learns that he actually really does love it.

He loves to rest his head on top of yours and feeling your breath against him

Or better yet, he loves having his head on your chest hearing your heart beat

“Mi enamorada, your heart is beating very fast again,” you could hear the smirk in his voice as he said that.

“Oh really?” You say sarcastically, burying a hand in his hair “I wonder why.”

He hummed a little bit in response “as do I,” he says smugly.

Overall cuddling with Alejandro is just very rewarding and therapeutic

Courtney

this woman knows how to do it

She so loves being all cuddly which you really wouldn’t have expected

It does take a little bit, and she spends some time wondering if you’re really “worthy”

But after that she’s all in.

She likes being in kissing distance so your face being close to hers is a must

Other than that she doesn’t really care about the position

I imagine cuddling with her is very chatty, and she very rarely cuddles while falling asleep (not that is never happens)

But you guys have a lot of late night conversations while cuddling

She lives for those early morning cuddles too

“Okay that’s enough, I have to start the day at some point.” Courtney mumbles tiredly.

“Soon- soon. Just five more minutes?” You say, pulling her closer.

She regarded you for awhile “fine. But no more than five minutes okay?”

That type of conversation is had time and time again, and she always spends way more than five minutes

Leshawna

Leshawna is so good at being in tune with peoples emotions it’s scary

She’s always really good at figuring out what works for you to and what doesn’t

Plus she’ll always let you know if she doesn’t like something that happening so you’re never worried about if she’s enjoying herself

She loves being the little spoon, but will be the big spoon if need be

Loves cuddling, but when she needs space she needs space (dw she’ll always let you know)

While on the couch cuddling though she’ll always let you lay on her and throw a blanket over the two of you and it’s just the most cozy thing every time

She is beyond comfortable to be around

Just a really genuine and sincere and comfortable significant other.

“I just feel bad, like I’m crushing you,” you admitted one night, adjusting while laying on top of her.

“Baby you don’t ever have to worry about that, you just get comfortable in anyway you can. You got that?” She assured you, and that was that.

She’s so good at making you feel comfortable oml.

Mike

THIS BOY IS A DISASTER

Has an impossible time being the one to enact physical contact and an even more impossible time asking for it

He’s a nervous wreck.

Plus he’s hugely indecisive he just wants to do what you want to do without worrying about any decision making. He already does enough of that.

But he has trouble staying in one position for a long period of time

So cuddling works best with him if you’re a go with the flow kind of person and are okay with readjusting over twenty times
