Chapter Three
Leon S. Kennedy is the luckiest unlucky man Ada has ever met. Unlucky that he's gone missing, but lucky she's willing to go into a secret facility that the government refuses to touch in order to find him.
Now, she's wandering around a labyrinth with her voice stolen and a gun that doesn't belong to her. Leon's Red9 is the key to finding him and escaping this hellish prison.
Too bad that all Ada has to go on is his voice emanating from his weapon, and there's something he's not telling her.

“We have no authority to go in there.” Even as he said it, Chris’s tension showed all over his face. He’d spent more time with Leon than she had. She replayed the last moments she’d seen him. Alcatraz felt so far away. She could only imagine the war in Chris between following orders and doing what was right. But Jill was different. She couldn’t believe what she heard.
“What are you talking about? This is Leon. He’s one of us. We can’t just leave him in there to go through god knows what he’s had to endure for three months.”
“You don’t know that. He’s fully capable of getting himself out of there.”
“You came for me, Chris.”
“That was different.”
“No, it isn’t,” she said. Chris’s lips pressed into a thin line, and he eyed her hand at her chest. She hadn’t noticed herself run her fingers over the place where Wesker’s device had embedded into her skin. She dropped her hand.

Literally cannot emphasize enough that my #1 writing advice is to stop being afraid. Stop being afraid of sounding too cringe, or too stupid, or too horrifying, or too horny, or too weird, or too much, or too little, or too you. You need to put your entire pussy into your art. Sure, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you keep yourself to the blandest tamest safest roads possible you will be of no one's tastes, not even yours.
