The one who lived Duty bound warrior left without purpose,had to live in a world that his master abandoned. The world changed but he didn’t change with it. He was so sure the master will return to him. He devoted his immortal life searching for him. A thousand years later he was still searching with a hollowed heart. The blessing of immortality had turned into a curse. He would jump into battles hoping he finds an end . Until he got caught by an army of devouts. He couldn’t attack them cause they bore the signs of his master. But they weren’t like his master. They were anything but. Thus began the age of subjugation. They raged wars in the name of his master. They told it was all for the betterment of the world.He couldn’t cope with the fact but reluctantly followed their orders. He separated his mind and body. To be able to devote his mind to his master and body to their cause. Centuries past and In the wars to come he showed his terrifying strength. In his state of trance he razed cities to the ground. In the middle of battlefield as he is about to strike, the air around him froze. It felt heavy,the very air around him was embracing him as if to stop him. A familiar feeling he hadn’t felt in so long, he had awakened for the first time in ages. When he realised the truth, all he felt was despair and unfathomable rage. Mind and Body separated, the mind ascended to a plane beyond ours.After an eternity of void that kept ever growing inside of him, he went deeper into that void until there was nothing.He stayed there in complete stillness. Waiting. Waiting for someone he could faintly remember.He came across The all encompassing River.He went into the river bank and sat. He let it flow through him. The river formed an entity around him, Entity that time forgot. Ever so familiar but oh so foreign. It was exhilirating and terrifying. The entity absorbed him In that moment He became the entity.Existing eternally.He saw everything that ever occured and everything that ever will.He observed for a millenia shifting through a sea of information.Until He felt something very familiar. In the sea of information he had finally found himself again, raging through the battlefield.A child in pain and anger.Oh such anger. I am sorry. I never meant to abandon you my child. I was always there. I will always be there for you. It was time for him to bid goodbye to the husk barely remembered and forge his own path. It was time for Mind and body to be one again.
