When I first started my tutoring career, some parents would sit in during the first ("trial") lesson to see "how I teach". 👨‍🏫⁠ ⁠ The most extreme case that I encountered being the tiger mum and cat dad sitting at two ends of the study table while I teach their P4 daughter "States of Matter". This was a last minute tuition assignment that I took on from @SmileTutors for a RI Year 4 student in 2019. He was the last batch to take O'Levels. Subsequent (junior) batches were all IP classes. ⁠ ⁠ I had only 4 two-hour sessions with the student.
