Light Part Two
Tumblr media
Read part one here
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x adopted!daughter
Summary: Natasha takes the girl back to her apartment and receives a surprise guest
Warnings: Mentions of child abuse/neglect
Word Count: 1485
A/N: Part two is out! Let me know what you think!
“Here we are, baby,” Natasha opens the door to her apartment, the girl still in her arms. She had taken the girl right from the Quinjet to her apartment, not wanting to subject the girl to more strangers.
“I know it’s not much,” Natasha says, “I don’t have any toys for you to play with, I’m sorry. But I promise I’ll get you something soon.” The girl doesn’t respond, just clings tighter to Natasha. “All of my clothes will be too big but I’ll see if I can find something, does that sound good?”
Natasha heads first to her closet. It’s difficult to look through her clothes with the girl still in her arms, but she refuses to put her down. Natasha tries to find her smallest clothes, but everything that’s small is also uncomfortable to wear or inappropriate for a child. Natasha is debating just letting the girl drown in one of her hoodies when there’s a knock at her door. The girl whimpers at the sound.
“It’s okay,” Natasha reassures her, “I promise I won’t let anything happen to you.”
When Natasha opens the door, it’s Clint on the other side. Clint rarely knocks anymore, he’s the only one with constant access to her room. He’s holding a box.
“Hey, sorry if I disturbed you, but I managed to scrounge up some things for you,” He walks in and sets the box on her table, “When I tell you Shield’s prepared for everything, trust me, they’re prepared for everything.”
Then, Clint leaves, and Natasha takes a look in the box. It’s… supplies. Children supplies. It has clothes, diapers, toys, bottles, pacifiers, anything you could think of to get a child. Natasha wonders briefly where Shield keeps things like this, but she has more pressing matters to deal with.
“Look what we have,” Natasha says, “I’m sure some of these clothes will fit you, and there’s some toys for you to play with. Isn’t it nice, baby?”
The girl doesn’t respond. Natasha grabs out some clothes that look the right size, and a diaper, just in case. The last thing either of them need is for the girl to have an accident and panic. She grabs some of the plastic toys that look like they can get wet and prepares to convince the girl to get in a bath.
“I think we should get you all nice and clean before we put you in these nice clothes, don’t you think?” Natasha says, “I think a bath sounds so nice right now. You’ll get all nice and clean, does that sound good?”
The girl doesn’t respond, Natasha’s not even sure she’s listening. The girl doesn’t react until they get into the bathroom and Natasha starts to put her down. The girl whimpers and tries to cling to Natasha.
“It’s alright, I’m not going anywhere,” Natasha says, “I just need to get you out of these dirty clothes.”
The girl shrinks back and starts crying. But she doesn’t fight when Natasha pulls the dirty hospital gown over her head. Natasha gently places her in the water. The girl just curls up in the corner of the bathtub. Natasha puts some of the toys in the water with her.
“Look, look at all these fun toys,” Natasha picks one up, a Barbie, “Don’t you want to play with them?”
The girl doesn’t react and Natasha sighs to herself. Natasha picks up the soap, narrating everything as she does it, hoping the girl will relax a little if she knows what’s happening. The girl doesn’t look any happier, but she doesn’t look any more scared or anxious, so Natasha counts it as a win. She’s quick with it, washing away all the dirt and grime before lifting the girl out and wrapping her in a towel. She’s quick to dry her off and put her in the clothes and the diaper before grabbing a hairbrush. Natasha chooses to ignore the cuts and bruises that cover the girl and focuses on combing the knots out of her hair. Natasha accidentally tugs on a knot and the girl shrieks and grabs at her hair.
“I’m sorry,” Natasha grabs the girl and pulls her into her chest, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you. It was an accident, I’m so sorry. I’ll be more gently from now on, okay?” The girl doesn’t say anything, but she stops trying to squirm away and lets Natasha gently comb the rest of her hair.
When they’re done, the girl looks up at Natasha with her big, round, sad eyes and yawns. Natasha’s heart melts and she can’t help but coo at her and bring her closer to kiss her forehead. The girl likes it when Natasha does that, and she vows to kiss the girl’s head as often as she can.
“Are you tired?” Natasha asks, “You had such a big day, it’s no wonder. I’ll get you a nice bottle of milk and you can go to sleep, okay?”
Natasha carries the girl out to the kitchen and is startled to see Nick Fury sitting at her kitchen table. Natasha tenses and the girl notices, starting to pull her head out of Natasha’s neck. Natasha holds the back of her head and keeps her face turned away from Fury. She puts her finger to her lips to tell Fury to stay quiet. She makes a bottle quickly, keeping the girl turned away from Fury, and takes her out to the living room. She sits them on the couch where she knows the girl can’t see into the kitchen.
“Here you go baby,” Natasha says, ignoring the fact that she knows Fury can hear them, “Let’s try a nice warm bottle. There you go,” Natasha smiles at her when she takes the bottle in her mouth and starts to drink. She stares up at Natasha while she drinks, her eyes drooping more and more as the milk disappears. By the time the milk is gone, the girl’s eyes are closed and she makes a quiet sound when Natasha takes the bottle away, but she relaxes when Natasha presses a pacifier past her lips. Natasha still ignores Fury as she stands and carries the girl to her room and settles her in the bed and tucks her in, turning the lights off but leaving the door cracked open.
“Sir,” Natasha sits across from Fury at the table, “I’m not sure what the others told you but–”
“I’m not here to talk about the others,” Fury says, “I’m here to give you this.” He slides a folder towards her. She grabs it an opens it and sees a picture of the girl on the front page. She looks back up. “Stark managed to pull some files from the base before we destroyed it. He found this, thought you might want it.”
“Thank you sir,” Natasha says, “We’re getting her checked out by Dr. Cho in the morning before we decide what to do with her.”
 “Do you think I’m stupid?”
 “What?” Natasha leans back, startled.
“I said, do you think,” Fury leans forward, “I’m stupid?”
 “No sir.”
“Agent Romanoff, do you honestly expect me to believe that you will ever give that girl up?”
Natasha takes a slow breath, then looks down at the folder in her hands.
 “No sir.”
“Good,” He says, “Glad we’re in agreement. You are one of the best agents I have. And contrary to popular belief, I care about my agents, you especially Romanoff. I know this girl makes you happy and I want you to have the happiness you were denied for so long. Which is why I also brought this.” He slides another folder across the table. Natasha picks it up and almost drops it in shock when she opens it.
 “Adoption papers?”
“I have connections. I’m able to fast-track some things. This included. Normally it would take months to even prove this girl is a citizen, let alone allow her to be adopted, but I pulled some strings. Sign these and she’s yours.”
 “Sir, I can’t just…”
“I’m not asking you to retire and move to a farm in Ohio and be neighbours with Barton. I’m telling you to adopt your daughter and raise her here. You’re still the best agent we have, we won’t let you go this quickly.”
Fury stands up. Natasha stands with him. She has so much she wants to say, but her words fail her.
“Take as much time as you need to think it over,” Fury says, “When you’re ready, put those on my desk and it’s official.”
After he leaves, Natasha looks down at both folders. She opens the first one and starts to read.
 Name: Rose Tremblay
 Age: 3
 Birthplace: Saint-Nicolas, Quebec
Parents: William and Alice Tremblay (Deceased)
“Rose,” Natasha whispers to herself, “I promise no one will ever hurt you again.”
And then Natasha grabs a pen.

Light Part One
Tumblr media
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x adopted!daughter
Summary: Natasha finds a little girl in a Hydra facility and feels a special connection with her
Warning: Mentions of violence, hints of child abuse/neglect, Hydra kidnapped the girl so you can imagine what they did but there’s nothing specific in this chapter, mentions of the Red Room and Natasha not being able to have children, more warnings will probably be added in future chapters
Word count: 1989
A/N: First chapter of this AU, let me know what you think! I have the first few chapters planned but if you have any ideas of things you want to see let me know
The title comes from the song “Light” by Sleeping at Last
“Floor two’s all clear.”
The emergency lights flicker overhead as Natasha walks slowly down the hallway, Clint behind her. The team is taking down a Hydra base that popped up a few miles from the Avengers compound. Fury heard a rumour that Hydra was convening at the base before attacking the Avengers. Naturally, the team decided to take them down before they could get a chance.
“Do another sweep then head back to the jet,” Steve replies, “I’m almost done – crap! I’ve got hostiles on floor four, I need backup.”
“On our way,” Clint says. Just as Natasha is about to run to the stairs, she hears a noise. With one look at Clint, she knows he heard it too. It comes again. Natasha can’t quite make out what it is, but it’s something and they can’t leave a Hydra agent here to attack them later.
“You go,” Natasha says, “I’ll check it out and meet you up there.”
 “Nat–”
 “Go Clint, I got this.”
Clint hesitates for another minute before he rolls his eyes and leaves for the stairs. Natasha can hear him mumbling about how stubborn she is and she smirks. She heads toward the source of the noise, her gun held out in front of her. She walks down the hallway a little more and stops outside a doorway. She can hear it more clearly now that she’s closer. It sounds like… it almost sounds like crying. Slowly, very slowly, Natasha eases into the room. Her brow furrows, there isn’t an agent in here ready to ambush her. There isn’t even a snivelling scientist. Then, she hears a sniffle. She turns to her left and her eyes are drawn down.
 It's a child.
A girl, no more than three or four, Natasha figures. She’s crying, shaking in her flimsy hospital gown. She’s thin, her cheeks hollowed and her eyes sunken. She isn’t wearing shoes. But what Natasha notices immediately is the gun she has trained at the redhead. Natasha gasps and holsters her gun. She puts her hands up and slowly kneels in front of the girl.
“Okay,” Natasha says, “It’s alright, I’m not here to hurt you.” The girl doesn’t react. “I’m Natasha, can you tell me your name?” More silence, “I’m not going to hurt you. I’m not a bad guy, I’m not with them, with the people who took you. I’m with the good guys and I’m here to take you away from the bad people so they can’t hurt you anymore.” The girl’s arms are shaking. Natasha takes a deep breath. “That looks heavy, maybe you should put it down so we can have a little talk, okay?” The girl doesn’t respond, but her hands lowered slightly. “I won’t hurt you, I promise.” The girl still isn’t responding or putting the gun down and Natasha thinks back when she spent time with Clint and his kids. She slowly raises her hand, her pinky outstretched. “I pinky promise I won’t hurt you. You can’t break a pinky promise.”
After a long, agonizing moment, the girl drops the gun with a clatter. Natasha breathes a sigh of relief.
“Thank you,” Natasha says, “That’s very good. Is it okay if I come closer?” The girl doesn’t react. Natasha moves an inch forward and the girl flinches back into the wall behind her. “Okay,” Natasha says, “I’m sorry for scaring you. We need to leave now, okay? Before the bad people come back.” The girl still doesn’t react. “Can I tell you a secret? I grew up in a place like this. The bad people hurt me too and I was very scared, but I left them and I’m safe now. No one hurts me anymore. I promise if you come with me, I will keep you safe. No will ever hurt you again.” Natasha holds her open hands out, trying to coax the girl away from the wall. Suddenly, the girl lunges forward into Natasha’s arms. She wraps her arms around Natasha’s neck. Natasha puts her own around the girl’s waist and lifts her in the air.
“You’re being so brave right now,” Natasha says, “You’re doing so good, it’s alright.”
Natasha keeps muttering soft praises as she carries the girl back to the Quinjet. She goes inside and goes straight for one of the seats in the back. She sits down with the girl in her lap. The girl refuses to let go of Natasha and Natasha, frankly, is glad. She doesn’t know what it is, but she feels drawn to the girl and wants to hold her for as long as possible.
“Clint,” Natasha says quietly, “Change of plans, I’m back on the jet, I can’t come meet you guys. You good?”
 “Are you hurt?”
“No,” Natasha says, “But I can’t come help.”
“Okay,” Clint says, “We’ve got it covered, give us five.”
Natasha doesn’t respond. She runs her fingers through the girl’s hair. It’s greasy and knotted and Natasha starts planning for how she can get the girl in a bath once they got back to the compound. The girl is shivering, no doubt freezing with how little she’s wearing. Natasha grabs her bag and pulls her jacket out, wrapping it around the girl’s shoulders.
“Do you think you want to tell me your name now?” Natasha asks quietly. The girl raises her head slightly to look in Natasha’s eyes but doesn’t speak. “No?” Natasha says, “That’s okay, malyshka, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.” The girl doesn’t say anything, just puts her head back in Natasha’s neck. Natasha rubs the girl’s back and frowns when she can feel her ribs. They must’ve starved her. Natasha swallows the anger and sadness that bubbles up inside her.
“Are you hungry detka?” Natasha asks, “We have some food here.” The girl doesn’t respond, but Natasha searches through the rations anyway. It’s packed full with protein bars that Steve insists they bring. Natasha searches until the very bottom. She grins victoriously when she pulls out a pack of fruit snacks. They’re Clint’s, but he won’t mind too much. She opens the package and dumps them in her hand before gently moving the girl until she’s sitting up slightly. Natasha offers the gummies to her, but she doesn’t take them.
“It’s alright,” Natasha says, “They’re for you, I promise. Here,” Natasha takes one and eats it, “See? They’re delicious.” Hesitantly, the girl grabs one, rolling it around in her hand for a moment before she puts it in her mouth. Natasha smiles. “See?” Natasha says, “Delicious.”
The girl chews, swallows, and then grabs a handful from the pile and shoves them in her mouth. Natasha laughs and can’t stop herself from kissing the girl’s forehead. Natasha leans back but sits back up when she notices how the girl freezes, eyes wide open, gummies half chewed.
“I’m sorry,” Natasha said, “I didn’t mean to upset you, I won’t do it again. I wasn’t trying to hurt you.”
The girl thinks for a moment, then she leans forward and presses her forehead against Natasha’s lips. Natasha smiles and gives her another kiss. Natasha knows the girl probably hasn’t gotten any kindness or love with Hydra, much like Natasha with the Red Room. The girl has probably never had someone hold her, or kiss her head, or do anything nice without expecting something in return. She’s trusting Natasha, letting her hold her, feed her, but Natasha knows there are still things that she will need time adjusting to. It won’t be easy, but Natasha knows she can help her. Natasha can help her unlearn what Hydra taught her and show her how to be a normal kid. Natasha will hold her, and keep her safe, and be the mother she never got to have. Wait, what?
“Shit, Nat, could’ve used you out there,” Clint says, “What was so important that – oh.”
Natasha looks up, a pleading look in her eyes. She doesn’t want Clint to make a big deal out of it. Steve and Tony will, the two of them would give Natasha a look and ask her all types of questions she doesn’t want to answer. Natasha needs Clint to understand, she needs Clint to vouch for her, she needs Clint to be on her side.
“I couldn’t leave her,” Natasha says, “She looked so–”
“Hey,” Clint says, “I get it, I get it. I would’ve done the same thing. Hey little one,” Clint kneels down and places her hand on the girl’s back. The girl whimpers and tries to shift further into Natasha’s arms. Clint immediately backs off.
“It’s okay,” Natasha says, “He’s a friend. He’s my friend. He won’t hurt you.”
“It’s okay, Nat,” Clint says, “She’s probably only comfortable with you. I’m not offended.”
“Nat, are you hurt?” Steve’s voice booms throughout the jet, “Tony can fly you back faster than the jet if there’s an emergency.”
 “She’s not hurt,” Clint says.
“I’d like to hear that from her,” Steve says, “No offence Clint.” Steve comes into view and he freezes. “Um, where did the kid come from?”
 “She–”
“Is she hurt or not Capsicle?” Tony joins the group, “Getting to the point would be – what the fuck?”
“Quiet Tony,” Natasha hisses, “She can hear you.”
“Okay, who the hell is she? Last I checked you couldn’t have one of those.”
Natasha buries the hurt that surfaces with Tony’s words. She knows he doesn’t mean anything by it, he’s just an ass. He can’t possibly know how much the Red Room still haunts her, how much it pains her to think of what they took from her.
“Jesus, Tony,” Clint says, “Nat found her inside, you don’t suggest we go put her back do you?”
Natasha shoots Clint a grateful look, then scowls at Tony. Tony opens his mouth but no sound comes out. He makes eye contact with Natasha and the glare Natasha is giving him makes him gulp.
“No, I… I don’t think that,” Tony taps a few buttons on his watch, “I’ll get Bruce to give her a lookover when we get back.”
“Where’s Dr. Cho?” Natasha asks. Tony pauses, “How soon can she get to New York?”
“Um, I’m not sure, I can ask, but–”
“I think it’s better if a woman checks her out,” Natasha says, “Got it?”
“It’ll be faster if we let Bruce do it, he’s just as good and Helen and–”
“I don’t care if he was the best goddamn doctor in the world,” Natasha snaps, “I’m not asking again, where is Helen Cho?” Natasha is prepared to give Tony a piece of her mind when Clint’s hand on her arm stops her.
“Tony, she’s a traumatized little girl,” He says bluntly, “She’s not going to react well to a man. How many female agents did we find in that base? Yeah, none. Take a wild guess who was hurting her.” Tony looks almost ashamed, he’s a least a little sheepish.
“Yeah, alright, I’ll call Cho, but don’t be surprised if she can’t get here until morning,” Tony points at Natasha, “She’s your responsibility until then, got it?”
 “Got it.”
Natasha looks back down and finds the girl staring up at her. Natasha smiles reassuringly and the girl doesn’t smile back, but she gently touches her fingers to Natasha’s smile and Natasha kisses her fingertips gently. The girl’s lips tick up just slightly and Natasha doesn’t think she’s seen a better sight in all her life. Natasha can hear the boys talking around her, but she tunes them out and focuses on the girl in her arms. Natasha leans down until her mouth is right next to the girl’s ear.
“We get to spend the whole night together,” Natasha whispers, “Just you and me baby, does that sound good?” The girl doesn’t respond, just presses her forehead against Natasha’s lips again. Natasha smiles and grips a little tighter.

Wanted Dead or Alive Chapter Two
Part one here
Tumblr media
Second chapter is here! It ends kinda abruptly because I wasn’t planning on ending it then but it seemed like a good ending. It ends on more of a cliff hanger than chapter one
Summary: Bucky and Wanda flee to escape the authorities. Wanda begins to learn more about Bucky and his past
Word count: 1002
Warnings: dark!Bucky, dark!Wanda (she will get more dark in later chapters), murder, unhealthy relationship, Bucky starts to become a little abusive and manipulative in this chapter
Wanda wakes up to Bucky furiously packing. She rolls over, grabs his wrist as he’s shoving shirts into a duffel bag.
“What are you doing?” She asks, “You’re not… You’re not leaving me, are you?”
“No!” Bucky crawls onto the bed and cups Wanda’s cheek, “No of course not, but baby, they know.”
 “Who?”
“The cops, they know it was us,” Bucky goes back to packing, “We have to go. If we stay they’ll catch us.”
“Where are we supposed to go?”
“Out of state, we’ll get new IDs, lay low until the heat dies down.”
Wanda wonders if this isn’t the first time he’s done this.
She sits up and sees a suitcase at the end of the bed. She looks around the room, it’s almost bare. The closet doors are thrown open and the hangars are empty. Everything, Wanda’s books, her picture albums, DVDs, everything’s gone.
“I packed your stuff while you were asleep, I hope that’s okay. I didn’t want to wake you.”
 “Yeah,” Wanda whispers, “It’s okay.”
“I have a car outside, you don’t have to think about it, just get in the car and I’ll drive. We’re not gonna stop for anyone.”
“Your car?” Wanda asks. Bucky’s car isn’t exactly noticeable, but it isn’t exactly inconspicuous either. Not many civilians own bulky SUVs with bulletproof glass. “Can’t they track your license plate?” Wanda’s grateful for all the episodes of Criminal Minds Pietro made her watch. Bucky’s taking charge but she’s not completely useless.
“We’re not taking my car. We’re taking a different one. It’s not registered in my name.”
 “Whose it registered to?”
 “Steve Rogers.”
The name is familiar to her. She concentrates for a moment and blond hair and blue eyes come into her mind, along with broad shoulders and the police badge he wears on his chest.
“The chief of police?” Wanda asks, “Why the hell did you steal the chief of police’s car if we’re supposed to lay low?!”
“I didn’t steal it,” Bucky zips his duffel bag, “I’m borrowing it.”
“Bucky!” Wanda feels hysterical now. She doesn’t want to go to prison. “You can’t just steal the chief of police’s car and expect us to just drive away in it! I can’t go to prison! I can’t! They’ll eat me alive, I’ll probably get deported and Sokovian prisons are even worse than here!”
“Wanda!” Bucky rushes over and grabs Wanda’s wrists tight, “Will you just shut your fucking mouth? I didn’t steal his car, he’s letting me borrow it. He’s my friend and he’s covering for us. Stop freaking out, you’ll get us caught if you can’t calm down.” Wanda nods and Bucky lets her go. She pulls her hands to her chest, rubbing the red marks on her wrists that are already starting to bruise. Bucky sighs. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have grabbed you. Are you okay?” Wanda nods again. “Good. Let’s go, we don’t have a lot of time.”
Wanda lets Bucky lead her to a car she’s never seen before. The windows are tinted but Bucky still tugs a ballcap on over his hair. Wanda gulps and tugs her hood over her head. They pull out of the parking lot and Wanda doesn’t know what she was expecting. Bucky doesn’t panic, he doesn’t speed down the road, taking sharp turns and constantly checking behind him. He drives… normal. A little over the speed limit but not enough to get pulled over, he signals every turn and lane change they make. Wanda really thinks he’s done this before.
They drive past a cop car and Wanda gasps and starts moving her seat. She tries to duck down, then to turn and look if they’d seen her, if they’re turning around and putting their siren on. Bucky grabs her arm and pulls her back normal in her seat.
“I thought you trusted me,” He grunts, “Stay still.”
Wanda does her best, but she still can’t help but sink down in her seat every time it feels like someone is looking at them.
They drive for a long time, and the further they get out of the city, the more relaxed Wanda gets. She’s surprised when she jerks awake to the car coming to a sudden stop. She gasps and sits up, thinking the worst. Bucky glances at her with an amused expression.
“Well, good afternoon Sleeping Beauty,” He says, “Relax, we’re just getting gas. You want anything from the convenience store?”
Wanda shakes her head. Bucky nods and gets out of the car. Wanda’s more nervous to be stopping. Even if they’re far away from the city, Bucky is still recognizable. His metal arm stands out like a sore thumb. It certainly doesn’t help that he tends to stand a head taller than most men. Add to that Wanda and “murdering couple traveling alone” becomes a flashing sign above their heads.
A car pulls up to the pump beside them and a man gets out of the car. He looks over and Wanda thinks for a moment that he sees her and recognizes her. He’s not familiar to her, but she doesn’t know if the police have plastered her and Bucky’s faces on the news. She doesn’t know how many people are looking for them. He’s still looking over and Wanda panics. She takes out her phone and searches news sites. She’s looking for any mention of her and Bucky or the man they murdered. No, not them. The man she murdered. She clicks a link and is bombarded with her face. It’s a picture of her and Bucky, one she posted on her Instagram days before Pietro was killed. She reads the article. Her brain catches on certain sentences. Sentences like “Refugee from Sokovia” and “Presumed to be on the run” and “Police are looking for anyone with information,” but what sticks out most is “James “Bucky” Buchanan Barnes, aliases The Winter Soldier, Jim Barnes, and White Wolf.”
 Aliases?
 Why does Bucky have aliases?
Who did Wanda fall in love with?

Yes!! Exactly!! They’re gonna make her the “villain” character in MoM because she wants her family back like how is that not an understandable thing? And I know they’re going to frame it as something selfish when wasn’t there a whole movie (Endgame) where the avengers literally went back in time to bring everyone back (and Tony insisted that they bring everyone back 5 years in the future so that it won’t affect his family) (not hating on Tony I’m just saying wanting your family to be okay is a totally valid thing)
And I know they’re going to make her almost ruin the multiverse for her family which makes no sense because we saw in Wandavision how guilty she felt at hurting people like I don’t believe no matter how bad she wants her family back that she’ll destroy the multiverse, and yeah I also hope they don’t make her fully evil because I don’t see her as someone bad who hurts people with no remorse I honestly want her to keep being an anti-hero/morally grey hero
And I agree that I think they’re going to bring Vision back sometime I just hope it’s not 3 movies from now or something, I think a Vision show would be so cool but we probably won’t get it 😔, but if he doesn’t show up in the Scarlet Witch movie I’ll riot
Anyone else lowkey feel like Wanda has just completely replaced Vision with her kids.
Maybe it's because I'm a Vision simp or maybe it's because I have zero maternal instincts, but it's a bit odd how quickly Wanda moved on from Vision and how her whole thing is just finding her kids.
I get that there's obviously a lot more to it. Kevin Feige probably hasn't figured out what to do with White Vision n how to reunite the two so he doesn't want to imply that their reunion is coming. Wanda also doesn't even know White Vision is out there and he's not in MoM so I guess it makes sense that he's not a focus, but it just kinda feels like Wanda just doesn't care anymore? She pops out two (kind of, sort of) fake children and suddenly Vision is just irrelevant. Guess she thinks her kids don't need a dad lmao idk.
Maybe at the end of MoM she'll search for him? Like maybe she gets her kids back n they're like "yo I want my dad back" and she goes "Oh shit right you have a dad lol yeah let's go"
No hate to Wanda ofc. This is more on the writers.

I do agree, I think it’s kinda weird that she built a whole false reality to bring Vision back and then immediately is like lmao who’s Vision? Anyway my children
But I also think that maybe she’s realized that she tried to bring Vision back, it failed and hurt a lot of people and she doesn’t want to do that again and maybe she doesn’t think it’s possible to bring Vision back so she’s focusing on Tommy and Billy, but I do hope in MoM she gets to a point where she wants/needs/misses Vision and realizes that if there’s a way to bring all 3 of them back that she will do that, because I feel like she’s compartmentalizing her grief by “forgetting” about Vision because she’s already grieved him once
Idk these are just my thoughts but I do hope Vision comes back somehow either in MoM or with White Vision, but I do think the writers don’t really care about Vision now and don’t really understand Wanda’s character so I have little hope

Wanda first meets Bucky Barnes at a bar at 9pm on a Friday. Pietro has been nagging her all day and Wanda has had enough. After snapping at her brother to leave her alone, Wanda grabs her wallet and heads to a bar where she knows she can drink in peace. She isn’t looking for anything, but she meets the eyes of a tall, dark, and mysterious man over the rim of her cocktail and Wanda’s never been so thankful to her brother in her life.
Bucky, Wanda finds out, is a retired soldier who likes motorcycles and reading Tolkien. He has a metal arm, fully functional, and Wanda can tell he doesn’t like talking about it, but he shows her anyway, twisting his wrist and letting her run her fingers over the plates. He’s sweet, he never lets his eyes stray lower than her chin, he listens to her, really listens, and he doesn’t slip his fingers under her skirt like other men do. He smiles and looks nervous when he asks if she lives around here. Wanda finds it adorably endearing.
The sex is great. Bucky lives alone and his apartment is neat and clean, a nice change from Wanda’s past hookups. He kisses Wanda tenderly and asks if she’s sure over and over until Wanda slides out of her skirt and convinces him that yes, she wants him and she wants him now. He makes her come once with his fingers, then again with his mouth, before he slides into her. Wanda clings to his shoulders as she comes for a third time and his hips stutter and he groans into her neck as he comes with her. He holds her gently after and cleans her up. The guys Wanda’s been with before usually just finish and roll over before passing out, leaving her to deal with herself. Wanda doesn’t plan to stay over, but his arms are too warm to leave and before she knows it, she’s sound asleep.
She wakes up in the morning to the smell of fresh coffee and the sight of Bucky dancing around to the radio as he makes breakfast. He kisses her good morning and serves her a plate of bacon and eggs. They eat together, with Bucky making her laugh and playing footsies under the table. After breakfast, Wanda plans to leave, but then Bucky suggests a shower which leads to another round which leads to Wanda spending the weekend with him.
She leaves reluctantly, after Pietro’s constant phone calls get too annoying to ignore. Bucky kisses her, and walks her home, and promises to call the next day. Wanda doesn’t expect him to, after all one-night stands don’t usually call the next day, but he does. And he asks Wanda out on a proper date. Wanda’s grinning so much that Pietro notices and pesters her until she tells him about Bucky.
The date is perfect, and so is the next one, and the next one and the next one and then they’ve been dating for six glorious months. It’s the happiest Wanda’s ever been and she knows without a shadow of a doubt that James Buchanan Barnes is the love of her life and the man she’ll marry.
 And then Pietro gets murdered.
And Wanda feels her world crumbling.
Bucky holds her when she finds out, lets her scream and cry and beat her fists against his chest. He doesn’t say much, really, what is there to say? His presence is enough.
It’s the worst four days of Wanda’s life, planning her brother’s funeral, her brother who she never thought she’d live without. Bucky helps her with it, pays for the funeral himself when Wanda realizes that her savings won’t cover more than a simple burial. He wears his best suit and holds Wanda’s hand and lets her cry and snot on his shoulder and he handles everyone who comes up to offer their condolences. Afterwards, he stays in the cemetery with her for hours while she says her final goodbye.
The police contact her a few days after the funeral and they tell her they haven’t found who did it and they’re going to stop looking. Wanda doesn’t know how to react. She’s numb to it all at this point, just buries herself in Pietro’s sweatshirts and curls up in a ball on his bed. Bucky finds her and when she tells him, a dark look passes over his eyes. It’s gone as quickly as it comes and he’s the caring, doting boyfriend he’s always been, making sure she’s eating and showering and going outside at least once a day.
Three days later, he tells her he has to go out for the day. It’s a work thing, he tells her, and he can’t get out of it. She nods and lets him go. When he comes back, he looks agitated and he’s limping. His hair is greasy and his face is covered in grime. Wanda doesn’t question it when he tells her that he stopped to help someone change their tire on the way home. Bucky is nice like that. After he showers, he looks better. He holds Wanda close and peppers kisses over her head. Wanda falls asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
The next day, he tells her he has something to show her. She gets up, gets dressed, eats at his insistence, and lets him lead her to his car. She looks out the window as they drive, watching the city fly past as he drives them out to the middle of nowhere. He stops at an old abandoned house. Wanda gets out of the car and wonders why he brought her here. Bucky looks nervous. He holds her hand and his palms are sweating.
“Trust me,” He mutters. She does, she trusts him completely.
He leads her inside, then down the stairs to the basement. He lets go of her hand to fish keys out of his pocket to unlock a door, then takes her hand again and leads her inside a dark room. He flicks on the light and Wanda gasps and recoils. There’s a man tied up in the middle of the room. There’s a gash on his forehead that drips blood down his temple, his eyes are black and swollen, he’s gagged and whimpering.
“I found him,” Bucky says, “He killed Pietro. I wanted you to know that I made sure justice was done.”
Wanda looks up at the man she loves, a man she thinks she never really knew at all. He’s looking at her the same as he always does, but his eyes are wild.
“I wanted you to do it.”
Something cold touches her hand. It’s a gun. Wanda jerks her hand away. When she steps back, Bucky follows until he has her pressed up against the wall.
“I did this for you,” He says, “People like him, they hurt and they steal and they kill and they get away with it. He needs to face the consequences. He hurt you, he killed Pietro. He needs to answer for that. Don’t you want to? Don’t you want to be the one to deliver it to him?”
Wanda looks into Bucky’s eyes, he’s earnest. It’s the same look he gets when he can’t figure out why the bathroom door keeps sticking, or when he stays up all night to fix the A/C unit that broke on the hottest day of the summer. His stubbornness is part of the reason Wanda fell in love with him, but now she wishes her boyfriend would let things go once in a while. She knows he won’t let this go.
Wanda looks at the man. He’s looking at her, a scared look in his eyes, and Wanda wants to feel bad for him, but then she thinks of her brother. She thinks of his death and how angry she is. This man killed her brother, her Pietro, and he needs to pay for that. He took everything from her and she will bring justice.
“I won’t force you if you don’t want to,” Bucky says.
“I want to,” Wanda tells him, her accent slipping through, “Give me the gun.”
She takes it from him and walks up the man. He’s struggling against his restraints. She points the gun at his forehead, then walks closer and rips the gag off him.
“Please,” He begs, “Please, don’t, please…”
“Did my brother beg? Like you?”
 “Please, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry…”
“Answer me,” Wanda tightens her grip on the gun, “Did. My brother. Beg?”
“I don’t know!” The man cries, “I didn’t even see him! I had no choice! It was an accident! Please!”
“If you did not spare him, why should I spare you?”
“Please, please, please, I’ll do anything you want, anything please, just don’t–”
 BANG
He falls to the floor, dead. Wanda lowers the gun. Bucky is behind her, his hands on her waist, his breath hot on her neck. He’s rocking his hips into her and she can feel his length against her back. The gun falls to the floor with a clatter and she turns to face him. His eyes are dark and he’s panting, his pants tight around his bulge.
“Wanda, my love, you are incredible.”
Wanda drops to her knees, pulls his pants down long enough to free his cock and he moans when she takes him in her mouth. She licks and sucks at him and he grips the back of her head and thrusts into her. She gags around him, looking up with tears in her eyes. She swallows every last drop of his release and rises to kiss him. He groans against her lips and she can feel him stiffening against her. She needs him inside her.
They make love for hours inside that room, and after she’s spent, Bucky carries her to the car and drives them both home. She curls up against his chest and falls asleep to the sound of his breathing.

“I always am like, ‘I don’t understand.’ I don’t understand what we were doing. I’m just really confused. There have been a couple of moments where I’m like, ‘That’s what I was looking at?!’ Like, I wished they showed that to me!“ —Elizabeth Olsen with Benedict Cumberbatch and Sam Raimi
