London’s biggest screening party for the Eurovision Song Contest finals has been canceled, the venue Rio Cinema and organizer Eurovision Party London have said.
“Following discussion with the organizers of Eurovision Party London, we have collectively decided not to screen the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest this year while Israel remains in the competition,” the Rio Cinema said in a statement on X. “The Eurovision Party London has been a beloved partner of The Rio Cinema for many years, and we will continue to work with them in the future. We firmly believe that the Eurovision Song Contest has the power to bring people together across the world, and when its core values of inclusivity, equality and universality are upheld, it can be a genuine force for good. With its own slogan in mind, we hope that we can all be United By Music again soon. We will continue to organize fundraising events for the charities we support, including Doctors Without Borders and Medical Aid for Palestine.”

It's set during March 22nd to March 29th in preparation and support for Trans Day of Visibility on March 31st!!! The goal is to read and uplift books written by and/or featuring trans, genderqueer, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, and 2Spirit authors and characters.

hi everyone, my dad and his siblings have been desperately trying to get my aunt and her whole family out of gaza. I’ve watched him have multiple breakdowns over seeing the conditions they’re living in. they haven’t seen each other in person in literal decades. my aunt’s home in gaza city was completely destroyed and her family have had to repeatedly flee from the devastation. they deserve a better life than this, her kids deserve a better future than this.

Hi! This is about your recent book post. Could you give more of your opinions on "Gwen & Art Are Not in Love" and "Something That May Shock and Discredit You" ? They're both on my TBRs but I haven't gotten around to either one yet.
“Gwen & Art Are Not in Love” was a lot of fun and kind of silly. It does give off YA vibes (not a bad thing if you’re looking for something you really don’t have to think about too much when reading) but I was thoroughly enjoying the story and the characters. If you want an unserious read with a happy ending full of queer characters I would recommend it. I described it to my friend as “taking a messy gay and lesbian friendship to another level.”
“Something That May Shock and Discredit You” is the best trans autobiography I’ve read so far (maybe ever bc I liked it so much I can’t see anything topping it). The author brings so much humor, pop culture reference, and personal experiences together then effortlessly mashes them together. There were points where I couldn’t stop laughing or grinning. Genuinely such an enjoyable read.
Sorry this was late! I’m in my last semester of college and am swamped with work.

In case the esim process confuses you or you aren't able to buy them yourself for any other reason, crips for esims for Gaza is collecting donations, they've almost met their goal of $150,000 raised. Donating allows them to buy esims in bulk which allows them to obtain more than individuals would be able to. I just donated and it was super easy as you can use paypal.

my university has a clothing co-op where they keep gender affirming clothes, business clothes, athletic clothes, etc… before break I put in a request for a binder my size bc mine is over 5 years old and is very worn. I finally was able to go in and pick it up only to be deadnamed on the sticky note. I’ve been signing off exclusively with my nickname through our emails so it was,,, something.
#I’m not even mad I was just confused#he probs got it through my school email and assumed since my deadname and nickname are so close I still probs go by it#idk it was weird#the binder isn’t even that good#to be fair tho I have a big chest and small ribcage so most binders don’t do much#I just wanted to rant <3#hope everyone else is having a good day#this all happened after I had 5 hours of physics btw so I was already drained and I’m still drained
