Art Tutorial Preview
This one was a short weekly tutorial briefly talking about gesture drawing, shapes and how to reference. Next week I’ll do a reference sheet with dynamic poses, I didn’t get to it this week cause I ran out of time. Anyways I hoped this helped some people!

I'll be taking part in the log off protest tomorrow and with the decision Tumblr made I'll be leaving pretty soon unless they change.
It's sad I've been here probably 7+ years, to be honest, didn't think it would end like this. Tumblr was my main website but now I have to make some new accounts elsewhere and spending more time on Facebook. It funny though I was so against Facebook when I was younger now I'm headed there instead of Tumblr.
I'll make a goodbye post soon...

Tonight, I’m logging off to protest against Tumblr’s new guidelines. This website is a mess; artists, blogs, innocent reblogs etc. are being marked as explicit by a bot that apparently has no idea what it’s doing. Anything that the staff considers explicit has been entirely removed to make this website “children friendly”. Apparently, safe search, age confirmation and blocking tags isn’t enough anymore. In a time like 2018, soon 2019, I think it’s absolutely disgusting and inhuman to take the freedom of speech from your users, and worst of all; not care enough to hear their voices. I’ve seen that the Tumblr staff doesn’t care enough to cooperate with us. Therefore, I am joining the Log Off Protest on the 17th of December.
I promise I’ll check in on the 18th of December to see how you all are doing <3 Stay strong!!

HEY ARTISTS!
Do you design a lot of characters living in not-modern eras and you’re tired of combing through google for the perfect outfit references? Well I got good news for you kiddo, this website has you covered! Originally @modmad made a post about it, but her link stopped working and I managed to fix it, so here’s a new post. Basically, this is a costume rental website for plays and stage shows and what not, they have outfits for several different decades from medieval to the 1980s. LOOK AT THIS SELECTION:

There’s a lot of really specific stuff in here, I design a lot of 1930s characters for my ask blog and with more chapters on the way for the game it belongs to I’m gonna be designing more, and this website is going to be an invaluable reference. Strong words to use on a Resume
If you have ever had to write a resume for work or for an application, then you know the hardest part is figuring out what type of words to use that sound professional and and intelligent.
Example: If an application asks you if you have any relevant experience for a job at a day care center and you have experience, like you have babysat children. You would look at the words in the columns to see what words you should use that will help your resume stand out. You might put down “Have supervised and attended to children on a regular basis.”

Inktober #2 -Tranquil A little late but here it is. Another marker died, sad. 💀 I got a late start on this one so...the rest might be late too... we'll see. A calming scene between Ember and Reaper. This is a rare moment for Reaper I've wanted to draw for a long time. I'm getting better at drawing him so that's nice. 😊

Inktober #1 Poisonous My first Inktober! I haven't colored traditionally in forever, but I think it turned ok. Three of my four grays died while I colored this so...not sure how the rest of inktober will go. Also I'm trying to use my OC's for Inktober but there design aren't set in stone yet.
