day 18/100 | 100 days of productivity✮⋆˙
26/05/2024 // tomorrow is the day of my viva for my clinical subjects and i am a bit worried because the students who have completed their viva with the professor say that he was a bit difficult to please. however at the same time, i guess that also means that there is nothing i can do about it so i prepped as usual. to lift my spirits, i turned to the one thing i knew could do it immediately: food! i had the most wonderfully boiled and flavoured eggs as a prominent feature for my dinner and it did not disappoint.

reviewed my practical submissions
read papers on schizophrenia, major depressive disorder, and personality in relation to the neo-ffi, amongst other topics
made some edits to the practical submissions

25/05/2024 // a hot, hot day but had a nice plate of chicken biriyani at the end of it so that felt rewarding. my last viva and my very first end-of-semester examinations approach, however.

day 11-16/100 | 100 days of productivity✮⋆˙
24/05/2024 // had a lot of work the past few days and so decided to post all of them together!
— here is how i attempted productivity today and over the last few days :
created initial codes + axial codes, and did memoing for a text from qual research class
completed a paper for my psychometrics class
completed the viva for 3 of my practicals (they all thankfully they all went well)
completed all of my practical files, all of 174 pages
studied about cultural issues in diagnosis
i have another round of vivas following which my exams begin at the end of this month, super busy but i have some holidays to look forward to at the end!

18/05/2024 // nearly had a breakdown over the fact that i was doing one of my submissions wrong but found out later about how to right so that happened.
— here is how i attempted productivity today :
finished writing one of the longest psychometrics papers i have ever written (forgot to take a picture of it and i do not feel like going back so here's a picture i took of one of the tables to send to a friend)
reached 37% of 'notes of a crocodile' by qiu miaojin
finally paid the electricity bill at my accommodation

17/05/2024 // and we reach day 10! today was my last official day of the second semester, although we did not have any offline class today since all the professors who had classes scheduled today as per the timetable were already done with covering their part of the syllabus. so i stayed back at my accommodation and tried to get a move on on the many, many things that are due.

did some more coding + memoing for the qual research class
wrote a very, very detailed introduction for my psychometrics paper, and wrote a bit about the item generation phase
read 31% of 'notes of a crocodile' by qiu miaojin
took a break and randomly ended up beginning bridgerton, s2, so now i am absolutely hooked onto it during my breaks + motivates me to work towards my breaks as well

monday, may 13th 2024
bro how are we already almost halfway through may? today is data collections from 8:30am-2pm and then a meeting from 2-3pm to discuss IRB stuff.
this week, i'm really hoping to finish this IRB form and finalize my overall objective & hypothesis for my F31. wish me luck!
also, all my final grades were finalized friday and although i'm not happy with the grade i got in neural engineering, i'm still meeting program requirements & i can say that i learned something new while still giving it my best shot.

I feel like I'm lacking a routine and having friends come visit or travelling over the long holiday weekends doesn't really help.. but I also wouldn't wanna miss it! very excited to reunite with two friends tomorrow and to go biking with my parents this weekend!

sorted out how to rent a bike this weekend
sorted out my train rides this weekend (deutsche bahn wtf u doing)
lesson prep german & extracurricular
tidy room
fresh bedsheets
laundry (still gotta hang it up I forgot before leaving the house)
gym (somehow I made a friend there and we're gym buddies now)

day 8/100 | 100 days of productivity✮⋆˙
15/05/2024 // a lot of things have been happening in my personal life, so i decided to take a break from the constant stream of working on assignments and instead decided to go through some content for my theory examinations. i do think that it made me feel so much better because i was on a block while trying to finish some parts of my assignments yesterday and i ended up doing nearly nothing the whole day which made me feel rather guilty. it was only today that i realised that i could have taken this break to review papers for my theory examinations and maybe study something and that really helped me in feeling better about my efforts.
