“All this time and I only noticed it now... just who the fuck is he looking at?” - Riza 2k18
*ahem ahem*
So um I’ve just played DDLC recently and, with the release of BNHA’s season 3, I rewatched the whole two seasons. Then I remembered I had a little theory with regards to Aoyama so I paid full attention to him and...
combining DDLC and BNHA gives me this cracktheory that states that:

Everything about Aoyama Yuuga screams "TRAGIC PAST"
Aoyama Yuuga is a very underrated character probably only made for comical relief. But look here, his character is actually worthy to have some sort of backstory just like the rest of I-A and the other students of U.A.
Whenever I see characters who doesn’t seem like having any problems, I always look for signs of them actually having some sort of tragedy in their lives. Most of us should be aware that in anime, happy-go-lucky personality =  very sad past. Well, of course not generally, but mostly.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Aoyama has a very tear-jerking story behind his personality. Even I have a few headcanons:
- manga spoilers may be included. -

Um, can I just ask a tiny question... Is the part where Ikesen Nobunaga calls for a war council because of MC's silent treatment for 3 days a part of the main route or is it just an extra story? If it's the latter, I want to see what happened! Ahaha! I love your content btw~ 💕
Hello, Precious! The scene you’re talking about is from here:
Tumblr media
You get this story as a prize for double-dipping Nobunaga’s route. It is a hefty 230+ page story, all in Nobunaga’s POV, for free!
For reference, Nobunaga’s last event epilogue was 150 pages, and Kennyo’s cheapie birthday story was 250 pages and both cost 300 coins ($3.00 USD) each.
The story starts out with Nobunaga’ phasers set to adorkable:
Tumblr media
When Nobunaga reveals that he’s dragged them all there because his MC has stopped speaking to him, all of the warlords look at him, stunned.
Nobunaga mistakes this as them feeling as devastated as he does. Masamune laughs his ass off. Nobunaga wonders to himself if not seeing his MC smile will be fatal, and Ieyasu flat out asks if he can leave, to which Nobunaga responds “leaving is forbidden.”
I can’t! They’re all standing there plainly looking back at their liege lord like ‘did this dude really just call us in here for this’ with no fear!
Even Angel Mitsu is looking at Nobunaga like:

For artists who have problems with perspective (furniture etc.) in indoor scenes like me - there’s an online programm called roomsketcher where you can design a house/roon and snap pictures of it using different perspectives.
It’s got an almost endless range of furniture, doors, windows, stairs etc and is easy to use. In addition to that, you don’t have to install anything and if you create an account (which is free) you can save and return to your houses.
Examples (all done by me):

Here’s an example for how you can use it

Cinderella Phenomenon Contest Entry #3
This will be the last... I think.
Word Count: 1472
Backstory:
Once upon a time, there lived a young man named Valerio Ignace Sevilla. He was the youngest son of a wealthy noble family and thus lived a luxurious life as a child. He had many servants to attend to him, and was given no responsibility for he has his older brothers to take care of that. He only had to appear like a noble to maintain the family’s good reputation.
At first, Valerio was still a lively child. He eagerly went through his lessons, and slowly gained great results in most of them. In the arts, horse riding, swordsmanship… almost anything. It was only in politics that he never stood a chance against his eldest brother and heir of the family, Vilhelm. However, due to his continuous excellence, he was showered with praise that caused him to believe he can do anything. It only misled him further after finding out about the struggles of his direct older brother, Vesper.
Vesper puts effort in everything he does, but unfortunately he can’t do it as good as his brothers. He looked up to Vilhelm, who was compassionate and dignified at the same time, and strived to be like him. He also liked his younger brother, however, he was constantly pressured whenever they were compared. The harsh comparisons only made him grow rather envious of Valerio, who seemed to do everything excellently without breaking a sweat, as compared to him who does everything yet only gets normal results. But his envy never turned to anything malicious, as he still had his admiration for Valerio in him. He was mature enough to know that it was not Valerio who was hurting him, but society.
“There they are! Vilhelm and Valerio!”
“Who was the second child again?”
“Oh, Vesper. I can’t say I blame you for forgetting him. Rumor says he isn’t as good as his brothers.”
As a child, Valerio admired Vesper’s determination and hard work, and also saw how much Vesper suffered whenever they were compared. He loved his brother and knew it in himself that apologizing to him would only add insult to injury, so he decided to act, however immaturely. He gradually destroyed his good name by producing bad results and acting as if he didn’t care. He became lazy and often resigned to having his servants do everything for him, so that if ever they were compared again, Vesper would have the upper hand. Somehow, it worked.
“Oh my, have you seen that? The youngest child has changed completely!”
“Do you think the rumor of him being an excellent noble is a farce?”
“At least I know the second child is hardworking. Oh, may his efforts be repaid twofold.”
Valerio was satisfied to know that his plan worked. He continued to live in a carefree manner because of this, growing up being highly dependent of their status, and slowly it became a part of his personality. His father thought that he was only losing interest in his studies because of his natural talents, so he disregarded letting him take lessons and let him be as long as he still has his conduct.
Vilhelm, however, was aware that his youngest brother was not doing the act for the sake of himself, so he tried to talk him out of it. But Valerio refused to change back, afraid that Vesper would be criticized all over again if he did. Vilhelm couldn’t do anything but watch sadly as his two brothers had been heavily influenced by society.
Valerio never dared practice anything ever again, and even cursed his talented self. However, sometimes he couldn’t notice how arrogant his words can be whenever he tried to brush off the people who admired his skill before. He tried to convince them that he was not worth the admiration, and even tried to direct their admiration to Vesper. This series of events had only enraged Vesper, who thought that his own younger brother was underestimating him and injured his pride even more now that Valerio is being arrogant about it.
“You were blessed, yet you become ungrateful? How insulting.”
Driven by envy and anger, of all the things that happened in their childhood, Vesper finally had it and came to a witch to curse Valerio. The witch agreed for a certain amount of gold, and Vesper wasn’t hesitant to give whatever amount she sought. He was still a noble after all.
And thus, Valerio was given the Fairytale Curse; a curse based on Rapunzel.
“Rapunzel was lonely in the tower, was she not? Perhaps that would teach you a lesson.”
One day, Valerio woke up and found out that he cannot be seen by anyone. He went outside his chambers, calling out to everyone but they all passed by and ignored him. His disappearance was immediately reported, and his family was in panic. Well, except for Vesper who had a vague idea of what was happening.
Valerio was present that day, telling them that he was right there, but no one could hear him. Losing hope, Valerio decided to leave home and travel around to find clues on how to break curses. Eventually, he met the witch once again, who only briefly told him on how to break his.
“Only when you redeem yourself from your fault can you change back to who you were before.”
He had to change back to acknowledging his own talent, but Valerio couldn’t recognize the fault by himself. He doesn’t believe he did anything wrong. Of course, since he never knew that Vesper admired his little brother’s skills and completely knew that it wasn’t his fault that they were compared. He just came to conclusions that his very presence was what made his older brother hurt.
He thought about it, and came to a realization that…
Was the curse even worth breaking?
If he wasn’t there, Vesper wouldn’t suffer anymore. Isn’t that better? He doesn’t even have to push those admirers away anymore, now that he’s invisible. Did the curse really want to make him suffer or make his life easier? Surely even he can live with not being seen, as it cannot compare to the sufferings of his dear brother.
Eventually, he learned to give up. He had to create a story to relieve his family of their worry, if ever they were. He wrote a letter and placed it somewhere in his room, hoping that someone would see it.
If ever someone sees this, then let me assure you that I have made my decision to leave. I believe that this burden I carry does not allow me to stay in our home any longer. I do not know when I will be back, or if ever I will be back.
If ever I have caused you dismay or unhappiness then I sincerely apologize. I do not wish to give any more suffering to anyone. Please do not search for me anymore.
Signed, Valerio
Vilhelm was the one who found it, and was clearly upset about it. When he told his family, his mother was especially distraught. She couldn’t stop crying, and this made Vesper somehow regret his decision. However, he knew what’s done is done, and it was only up to Valerio to choose his path.
But Valerio had turned into a lost cause. He didn’t even think about how he’ll survive after this. He cannot be seen by people, so he can’t even apply to work if he ever thought about doing so.
He thought that the curse would make his life easier, but can he even survive like this?
Reluctantly, he turned up to the witch once again, asking for a way to provide for himself at least. The witch was a good one, genuinely wanting the young lad to break his curse, so she told him about a tavern in Angielle.
“Humans cannot see you, but that doesn’t mean witches and fairies cannot either. Even the fellow cursed will be able to see you.” The witch said. “If you wish, you can seek help from the Lucis Bearer.”
And so he found himself in the care of the Lucis Bearer, Parfait, and became a boarder of the Marchen Tavern. He believed it was better to live there than his own home, so he decided to stay.
Being there was a mess at first. Suddenly being brought into the commoner life, Valerio wasn’t entirely complaining but he was curious about everything. His constant interest had others want to teach him, and his ability to learn rather quickly caused him to gain a place in the Marchen.
For once after a long while, he was genuinely happy… but that happiness and longing to stay was preventing him from learning a way to break his curse.
If only there was someone who would guide him to learning his fault.

Cinderella Phenomenon Contest Entry edit
I’m gonna change it. The essence is still there, but the curse is different.
Word Count: 1461
Backstory:
Once upon a time, there lived a young lady named Quisfaire Belladonna Lascaris. She was born from a noble family in Brugantia, her father being a duke, and she was the only daughter. Her mother lost her life after giving birth to Quisfaire, and this fact made her feel like she owed her life.
As a child, Quisfaire didn’t spend much time with her father since he was always away from home. Whenever he does go home, he rarely speaks with her. This made Quisfaire think that her father disliked her, so she spoke with her personal maid about this.
“Stop your crying, dear. No parent truly hates their own child.”
“But why does Father not speak with me? He always brushes me off, telling me to leave. Does he not want to see my face? Am I a bad child, Marisol?”
Marisol felt pity for the child, so she led Quisfaire to the hill near their home, where she finally found her father. Her father, always stone-faced and stern with his subjects, silently lamenting beside the tree where her mother was buried beneath.
“He is a widower. He is hurting whenever he sees what he lost in you.” Marisol said, softly and tenderly. “Duke Lukas does not hate you. It’s not you, child.”
But seeing the pain in his father’s eyes from afar, it felt like it was all her fault. If only she wasn’t born, her mother would still be alive and her father would never have worn that sad look on his eyes. So ever since, the young Quisfaire felt obligated not to disappoint her father, as if she owed him her mother’s life. She became eager towards her studies, hoping that the results would please her father.
Quisfaire always strived to do the best of everything, even if her father had not demanded so. She took lessons by day, and studied by herself at night. She pushed herself to perfect her waltz steps and poise, her grace and elegance. If Marisol hadn’t convinced her to take a breather, she probably wouldn’t have thought to do so. Luckily she was able to take the young lady outside.
Once Quisfaire was outside, she watched as the townsfolk looked happy despite their heavy workloads. She then wondered why she was unhappy despite all her efforts. What was different? she thought. She was about to leave when she noticed some children looking so sad, which reluctantly made her stay. Not knowing how to comfort children, she decided to sing for them, which effectively calmed them down.
“Big sister, your voice is so lovely!”
“Sing for us again tomorrow!”
Quisfaire grew fond of those children, so she often left home early in the morning to sing for them, just before she is needed for her lessons. A man named Enzo was attracted by her voice, until such time where they came to know each other. Alas, the young, darling Quisfaire began to learn about the feeling of love.
She couldn’t explain how, but she knew somewhere in her heart that she fell in love in the span of a few moments, like in the fairytales. Enzo wasn’t different; the youth was delighted to have her as a lover. They complimented each other, made each other happy. If only life was that perfect, everything would have turned out wonderful… but Quisfaire never told him about her father.
One day, Quisfaire’s efforts to become the perfect lady were acknowledged, although barely. Duke Lukas instead told her of his plan to join houses with the royal family.
“I was told that you are slowly becoming a fine lady, so I thought of arranging for your presence in the royal ball held in a week’s time. The king wishes to meet you, perhaps to look for a princess consort. Will you be able to attend?”
“If it’s what you wish, Father, then I’ll be happy to oblige.”
No arguments, no questions asked. As long as Duke Lukas wears that stern gaze along with his commanding voice, Quisfaire doesn’t dare fight for her own destiny. Not as long as she is the reason of her father’s sorrows, she cannot speak of complaints or denial. She will not do anything that would displease him.
But what will be of Enzo?
Quisfaire was distraught. She truly loved the youth, but she cannot disobey her father. She was forced to meet him one night, just before the royal ball was held, and confided everything about the circumstances regarding herself, her father, and the ball.
“I love you, Enzo, I truly do, but… we must part ways. We cannot continue like this, not when I will only hurt you. I’m sorry.”
Enzo tried to understand, he truly did. He only wanted what’s best for Quisfaire, because that’s what love supposed to mean. But the pain clawed on his heart and clouded his visions, slowly erasing the good that’s once there.
Quisfaire isn’t the only one who revealed secrets that night. Enzo was actually a witch, who didn’t mean to use his magic on his beloved… but he was corrupted by the pain caused by his love.
And thus, Quisfaire received a Fairytale Curse; a curse based on Tatterhood.
“If you were only able to fight for yourself…”
One day, she woke up being reduced to having an unruly appearance, very unlikely for a lady. Her appearance doesn’t change no matter how much she tried. She knew that her father would be very unhappy about this so she fled from her home, taking a bag of coins that could purchase food for a year at most, and a cloak once used by her mother. She obscured her face with its tattered hood and left.
She wanted to visit the children, but she was afraid they wouldn’t recognize her. She even tried to find Enzo for days, weeks, even months but her efforts bore no fruit. She stayed at inns, moved from place to place. Marisol was able to find her after a few months, saying that Duke Lukas has been looking all over for her. However, Quisfaire refused to go back in such a state, thinking that she cannot oblige to her father’s wishes if she has an unruly appearance. Once she said that she was cursed, Marisol eventually advised her to travel to the kingdom of Angielle, where there may be people who can help her.
“Come back safely, child.”
Receiving a few more coins and a small bag of food to last the travel, Quisfaire managed to arrive to Angielle. She tried to ask for directions, but many people avoided her, thinking she was a beggar due to her tattered cloak. She spent a few days trying to look for answers, until she saw something she didn’t expect.
It’s been almost a year since then. Quisfaire looked for him all over Brugantia. She almost swore that she’d do anything to have Enzo remove the curse, but when she finally saw him, she froze on her spot.
For once, she felt bitterness as Enzo was with another woman.
She couldn’t help but notice how he looked happier, far happier than the night they last saw each other. His smiles towards the woman got Quisfaire to dawn into realization that she had caused him far greater pain than what she’s currently having. She couldn’t take a step forward because she felt afraid he’d be broken all over again.
She remembered the hurt in his eyes as he cursed her. As if it was reflecting the same kind of eyes that her father wore while standing in front of her mother’s grave.
“Who am I to go there and hurt him all over again?”
She walked away from them and hid in the alleyway, silently grieving over her mistakes. All she ever done to people was to cause them pain, and that thought was what made Quisfaire resign to her fate. She gave up going back to being a noble, being the duke’s daughter, being a princess consort, and being back to Brugantia.
“…for it is all my fault.”
Who knew that Prince Klaude himself, although dressed as a beautiful lady and cursed as well, was able to recognize her and take her to the Marchen Tavern, where she could have a chance at breaking her curse?
However, Quisfaire had already gave up on breaking her curse, because the only way to break it is to have the victim do something for the sake of protecting something she truly cared about. But she feared greatly about doing so because if she were to go back to where she started, she would only cause pain to people she loved.
How can a curse be broken if the victim herself doesn’t want to break it?

Cinderella Phenomenon Contest Entry #2
I can’t help it okay?
Word Count: 1449
Backstory:
Once upon a time, there was a witty young lady named Axiella Cherylle Wystgarde. She was the only daughter of two noble knights of Angielle, but unfortunately lost their lives when they were discovered that they helped two witches escape during the Witch Hunt.
A friend of the witches is an enemy of the humans. That was what they believed; that those knights were witches themselves and they would one day bring doom to the kingdom. Driven by their fear, they felt it was the right choice to set their home in flames. They convinced themselves that they were just protecting themselves, and if they truly were noble, at least they died with a cause… no matter how absurd it was.
“MOMMY! DADDY!”
The young Axiella, who had just came back from playing with the children in the town square, tried to call for her parents one more time. She was forced back by the flames, making her knees weak with helplessness. She cried out her parents’ names, holding on to the chance that they may make it out alive.
But that flickering hope died out pretty soon.
“Kill the girl! She must be a witch too!”
She had to run away for the sake of surviving, even though her limbs were aching badly. Her feet went numb, her body trembled in constant fear of being captured and killed. She had no time to waste.
She went to her friends, but they all turned against her. The adults tried to seize her, but she managed to fight her way and escape. The eyes that looked at her was no longer filled with adoration but hatred and fear.
At such a young age, she had seen the cruel side of the world.
Being a lost cause, she carelessly wandered around the woods deep in the night, finally able to scream her agony out. Her summer dress was dirtied with soot, her skin had cuts and scratches all over. Her voice cracked as her throat dried, but she didn’t mind. She couldn’t. Everything had already sank in: she was left alone.
She sought for vengeance ever since that day. She made sure to stay alive, doing whatever was necessary to survive. She gathered fruits from the trees, even stole from the travelers that passed by. Axiella couldn’t realize how her heart was being corrupted by her desire for revenge, being placed in that situation at a fragile age of ten. She didn’t want to see pity; she knew it in herself that no one would pity the girl whose parents were believed to be witches.
But there was.
After five months of living like that, her frail body dropped to the ground after being managed to be grazed by a blade, a mistake she made after stealing from a patrolling knight. She managed to run away from sight, but soon she was losing blood.
Her half-lidded eyes stared at the tall trees that filtered the light of the afternoon sun. Tears blurred her vision as she lost consciousness. Fortunately, a hunter and his wife found her and went to help, bringing her in their home at a hidden part of the woods.
At first, Axiella was doubtful. Their kindness must be a façade. They’d eventually turn me in to those people, she thought. But the couple admitted that they were hiding from the public themselves, in fear of being killed because of discrimination. Axiella never knew that the couple were the same witches that her real parents helped from before, but somewhere in her heart, she felt like she can trust once again.
Since then, Axiella felt like she found another place to call home.
The couple, Saxton and Lilia, grew fond of her, making her a part of their family. Saxton taught Axiella how to hunt, as she eventually became skilled with the bow. He even taught her the basics of combat, in case she runs into trouble like she did before. Axiella wasn’t unhappy about it. She loved them as if they were her parents themselves, and wanted to protect herself from the cruelty of the world.
A year later, the couple had a daughter and named her Beatrix. Axiella treated her like a sister, happy that there was another person she can talk to since she was never allowed to go beyond the woods, which she didn’t mind since she never wanted to go back there.
When the Great War began, Saxton and Lilia received a letter from their friend, Delora, who was requesting for them to fight with the Lucis Bearer. They wanted to, but they were reluctant to leave the children at such troubling times. However, they remembered the two knights that helped them, and remembered how they were killed because of the conflict between the witches and the humans.
“Axiella, we have to go somewhere very important. Both of you should be inside until we come back.”
“When will you come back?”
“We don’t know, sweetheart. But we promise we’d be back soon, so take care of Beatrix for us, alright?”
“Okay. I promise to protect Beatrix no matter what!” she said with optimism. “I love you both!”
“We love you too, Axiella.”
While they were away, someone was suddenly in front of their door. Noticing that they weren’t Saxton nor Lilia, Axiella was quick to take her baby sister and hide in the attic, where the perpetrators fortunately didn’t notice.
“Let’s go back tomorrow. The children must be back by then.”
While in the attic, the girl found Lilia’s diary and discovered about everything, including their heritage and the letter. Axiella, though flooded with mixed feelings, thought that they weren’t safe there anymore and left home.
They managed throughout the woods by hunting and eating fruits. Soon, Axiella overheard a traveler talking about the end of the war so they finally returned to their home. Instead of Saxton and Lilia waiting for them, Axiella found a note signed by Delora. She wrote about what happened in the war, and unfortunately the couple wasn’t able to escape from Hildyr’s wrath. Axiella felt bitter, losing important people again, but she couldn’t let herself break in front of the young Beatrix, so instead she felt determined to protect Beatrix even more.
Four years later, Axiella was already eighteen while Beatrix was ten, Beatrix suddenly grew very ill that Axiella, having nowhere else to go, went to seek help from Delora. However, instead of Delora, she stumbled upon a corrupted witch. The witch eventually recognized her as the child of a “traitor” and intended to kill her, but…
“I will not die in a place like this.” She stated firmly, staring right into her captor’s eyes with such tenacity. “I will return to my sister alive, and you will not stop me.”
The witch felt amused by her determination and so she decided to strike a deal with Axiella: that she will help her sister under one condition. Axiella agreed to do anything, so the witch cursed her with the Snow White’s Curse, twisted in a way that would get rid of a traitor’s child if she doesn’t manage to break the curse. Axiella’s “heart” gets trapped in a crystal apple and kept away in a box. Her skin turned as white as snow and she suffers when exposed to sunlight, as if an albino. She has to retrieve her “heart” before the crystal apple “rots” (or completely rusts) or else she dies. Once the curse was done, Axiella woke up in their home and found that Beatrix was alright, like the witch promised.
However, because of the curse, she cannot hunt often since she gets tired easily, an effect of not having her heart. She also cannot stay out in broad daylight for long so she needs to wear a cloak, which hinders her movements. These burdens made their life a little harder, and so she was forced to make a decision.
Axiella wanted to try and find Delora again, however she was afraid the witch would target Beatrix next. Reluctantly, she agreed to take Beatrix out to the kingdom of Angielle, where her darkest memories seeded from.
She wanted to break the curse as soon as possible, because she doesn’t want her poor baby sister to suffer the constant loss of family like she did. She cannot die and leave Beatrix alone, without anyone to turn to. Even if it meant all her time and effort, she would do whatever it takes for Beatrix to live a happy life, and she will be there to see it. She promised, and she intends to keep it.
“My dearest family… Mommy, Daddy… Saxton, Lilia… Please look after us.”
