I might not have medalled, but I'm 4th at the Roma 2020 International weightlifting cup. I've quite a journey ahead of me to be at full health again. However, I have enjoyed this competition. Great athletes, great officials. Good hospitality (still couldn't eat the food) 😅😅😅 The support was No.1 exactly what I needed to come away with a total and gain back my confidence back on the stage. I could give you a handful of reasons why today was "not my day". It won't change the fact that I didn't total or perform as I prayed I would. So don't ask me about it it's irrelevant. Those that know this sport can be brutal can relate. I haven't finished crying so spare me the "what happened?"🙄 What's different from last world's is that my coach @keithmorgan backed me all the way (so grateful to him as I was mess after missing my snatches and to the lovely official that told me to get it together lol) which was much more than I had at last years world's. People will analyse and say I shouldn't be on this stage yet, but I believe you should put your self among the greatest to become great. I know what I am capable off, just gotta keep working at it. Nothing but love to the amazing woman and men owning the stage in 2019. Take that how you want. Thirdly the love and support from my family has been incredible. Thank you. I'm still well on the way to Tokyo2020 and so I just need to recharge and continue to work hard. My goal is bigger than one bad comp. As my partner said "sometimes there's a lot of pot holes in the road and this is just one of them..."
