Daqui três meses, vai fazer um ano que fui para Interlagos pela primeira vez.

Um ano dessa loucura, quilômetros a pé, horas de metrô, primos que topam tudo e um sonho que se repetia quase 40 anos depois… De quando meu pai foi para Jacarepaguá, pela primeira vez, pois é, ainda era no Rio.

Em um ano, voltei para mais vezes do que eu podia imaginar e tive muitas outras oportunidades, mas que ainda não eram as minhas e muitas primeiras vezes… Se Deus quiser, ainda vai ter a primeira vez em Velocitta.

Mas o que sempre me marca quando volto de lá, são as pessoas… As amizades feitas no metrô, sob a chuva e o frio ou as que foram reconectadas, com as pessoas que estão lá para realizar algum sonho.

Interlagos é casa, onde TODO MUNDO, com credenciais diferentes de juntam numa sala, só para ver outros carrinhos correndo em círculo. Sem nada ser forçado.

Só tem um lugar e um grupo de pessoas que não me olham como estranha por falar de carrinhos e logo em seguida por ser grata a Deus pela oportunidade que teve.

Há um tempo me cobraram falando que não é esporte de menina, nem de crente… Mas na primeira chance programações importantes são alteradas para ver final da Champions (nada contra, tenho time do mesmo jeito que tenho Scuderia) e é muito difícil acordar domingo de manhã.

Interlagos é casa porque estar lá, não é ausência de Deus, para mim, é justamente o oposto… Se eu estou lá é por causa de alguma porta que Ele abriu e nada conseguiu fechar.

É uma mensagem que mando para uma chefe de equipe que me diz, que as portas sempre estarão abertas, que tudo tem seu tempo, mas o principal é não desistir… Afinal todos “heróis” fizeram impossíveis acontecerem.

Dizem que quando Deus quer nos transformar, Ele muda o nosso meio e as pessoas a nossa volta.

Nunca foi tão fácil pertencer a algum lugar e eu me recuso a me sentir culpada por alimentar algo que era o maior passatempo que tinha com meu pai.

Em 93 ou 94, meu pai voltou e já era em Interlagos… Tenho certeza de que quando comecei a contar como foi a minha vez, meus olhos brilharam assim como os dele, quando ele contava como tinha sido a vez dele!

A emoção de voltar é sempre como se fosse a primeira vez e depois da minha mãe, eu tenho ainda mais certeza disso… Isso porque só assistimos os treinos e classificações, não voltamos no domingo hahhaha imagina se a gente tivesse voltado para a corrida!

Teaching my nephew how to ball brings me back to hitting courts with my lil bro. I'm gonna be 45 next month (man, time flies fcukin quickly). Not as quick as I was back then but I'm glad to be able to still keep up with the youngins. I'm more of a defensive specialist so offensive moments like these are few and far between.
