Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life Review: 🐄 🐔 🐥
Only out in Japan at the moment, to be honest I couldn't wait to play it haha.
Story of seasons A Wonderful Life, previously by the name Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life will be out in the west Summer. 🌞
The game follows the story of a farmer who inherits their father's farm after his death.
Takakura a friend of your father's shows you around forgotten valley (renamed from Forget me not valley, which I preferred) and gives you your first tips as a farmer.
A Wonderful Life is different to many farming sims, as the story is in chapters, and each chapter you age slightly.
In this game you have to get married before the end of chapter one or the game will end. So if you are only into farming sims for the farming then this game may not be for you.
What has the game added?
●Non Binary option for your farmer. Can wear whichever clothes you wish and have the choice of many hair options and skin tones.
●Cody/Gordi added as a marriage candidate. I always feel like they fear adding darker characters to farming sims (is there a reason for this?) Not often darker skin characters to marry in many farming sims.
●Quest Board, every month you can take on new quests from the villagers.
●Extra events with the villagers.
Overall If you know the original and loved it you will like the remake.
If you don't know about the original game I would watch gameplay to make sure it is for you, as the story is slow and may be a challenge for some to get stuck into.

Review: Story of Seasons Trio of Towns. 🎮
I've always loved going back and replaying old games. Well this game I played before in Japanese bit I wanted to play in English too.
It's been a while since I first played it.
The story starts with you as a child on a farm, you enjoy yourself so much that in the future you decide to become a farmer. However your father disapproves of your decision. After a lot of arguments and convincing he finally decides to let you leave and visit your uncle in West Town, where you learn the ins and outs of farming. 🐄
The great thing about this game is how engaging it is to be able to accept part time jobs, I really enjoy doing the part time jobs and raising the town rank. Of course there are two other towns to unlock.
I recommend this game wholeheartedly its an excellent edition to your farming game collection.

Review: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 🎮
The new pokemon games just came out, I've been playing it since day one and feel like I can speak enough about it now to review.
You start out by joining Naranja School in the Paldea region, its a nice looking region. You get to pick one of your 3 starters, I picked Quaxly.
The school doesn't really do much, you can take some classes but that's about it, you have the power to freely explore one of three story lines.
My favourite of these storyline was the Path of Legends! Absolutely brilliant storyline, I wanted to just help Arven heal his dog, I didn't care for the Gyms. But unfortunately I had to do them first as pokemon were disobeying me. 🤣
The Gyms in this game are really boring, sometimes you only battle one person. But before you do the battle you have to do gym tests which are tedious if you just want to battle a leader.
Overall the game is good but a few things are worse than previous games.
For example shiny pokemon now do not make noise, meaning if you have sight problems or colour problems you are going to struggle with some of these shinies. Unlike Legends Arceus where the noise was made and a big visual queue of the sparkles.
And lastly the glitches and bugs are awful, I hope these get patched.
Overall a good game that needs some serious improvement.

Rune Factory 5: Review
Rune factory 5 is the first 3d game made by marvelous. The game starts with you waking up in a place you don't remember. You hear a girl scream, and run to help. After rescuing the little girl you go to Rigbarth, where you meet a full host of quirky characters.
The story for this game revolves around the imbalance of the runes. And trying to restore Natural order, all while being a member of SEED who keep order around the world. Although not everything is as it appears at SEED.
This game is amazing for the gameplay and also the fact they introduced same sex marraige. Again my goal is to marry everyone as both male and female. I'll report back once it's completed!

Rune Factory 4 Special: Review 🎮
I've been away for a while as I was playing lots of games to review! 🎮
Today I am reviewing Rune Factory 4 Special for the switch!
The game starts with your character in an airship, they have a mission but we don't know what the mission is yet, seems it has something to do with the spheres you carry.
Then out of nowhere you are ambushed and begin to fight. The fight goes wrong and you lose your memory...
Trying to get information from you, the ambushed accidentally push you off the ledge, making you fall onto a dragon in selphia called Ventuswill.
She allows you to stay in Selphia in hopes you remember who you are.
I love games like this with farming and fighting. Also I love to date the villagers. I'm in love with Dylas right now, but actually my goal is to date everyone as both Male and Female in this game to unlock newlywed mode. 💒👩❤️👨👰🏻♀️
Although Nancy is on to my shenanigans! 🤪 😜 🤣

WXenoblade Chronices X Review: 🎮
Xenoblade Chronicles X is an open world action role playing game for the Wii U.
Following Earths destruction after an alien war, the last of Humanity attempts to escape with the few remaining humans. However they are tracked down and attacked, the ship crashes into planet Mira and the story begins.
You awaken inside a pod and meet a woman named Elma who explains the situation and takes you to the colony of New Los Angeles.
while here you join BLADE, who are instructed to protect New Los Angeles from hostile aliens.
The gameplay is similar to the first game so if you've played that you should learn it very quickly.
So far I'm only up to chapter 6 so I haven't finished this game yet. But look ate the beautiful environments, for a Wii U game the environments are incredible! 🎮
This game is worth picking up if you haven't already!

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky review : 🎮
Having become a Pokemon you and your partner join the Wigglytuff Guild an exploration club. Your partner loves exploration and relics, and wants to discover the truth about an artifact they found.
It is discovered that someone is stealing the time gears, something that allows time to flow in it's respective region.
Now on a journey to save the time gears you and your partner traverse the vast world to try and save the gears.
If the first game was sad enough this one will make you cry uncontrollably.
The reason this one is so special is that it involves time travel and this makes the game so enjoyable and exciting. I think I personally love this one more than the first because of the story alone.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team Review. 🎮
Imagine waking up one day as a Pokemon! Well that's exactly what happens in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon!
After discovering you are a Pokemon with no memory other than your own name you set out on a quest with your partner to become the best rescue team there is.
There is an imbalance in nature and wild Pokemon are lashing out and natural disasters are happening everywhere. 🌋
The gameplay is as follows, you will wake up every morning and accept quests from the mailbox or quest board, going into dungeons which is RPG based gameplay with multi turned battles.
To me this game is fantastic, not just for gameplay but the story is engrossing and amazing, just make sure to bring tissues!
Note this game is available on Gameboy advance, ds and now recently the nintendo Switch.
You can also play this game on the Wii u virtual console. 🎮

Harvest Moon One World Review Originally only on Nintendo Switch it is now available on Playstation and XBOX.
I get really mixed responses when I tell people I prefer One World to Pioneers of Olive town, because a lot of people hate the company who made it as they split from the original team and continued using the name...
But seriously there is more to this game than Pioneers has, because Pioneers doesn't have much of a story...I'm a story driven based girl.
The story to One World is as follows, the secrets of farming has been lost, with only being able to scavenge for things that have just randomly grown you dream of many other vegetables and fruit to eat.
The only remaining thing in this world with the secrets of farming in it is a book you own and study daily.
You go on an adventure seeking out new crops after meeting a Harvest Wisp in the well. She gives you hints on how to find other crop seeds which were entrusted to other wisps by the harvest goddess.
he main thing I like about Harvest Moon is the variety of different looking Bachelors and Bachelorettes. I feel like Story of seasons doesn't really stray from the normal designs, so a lot of people feel like the same characters...I keep calling Iori; Yuzuki...
But in One World we have a character with pink dyed hair! Makes a difference than having like 10 blonde Bachelors and Bachelorettes if you ask me...
Oh also the DLC is extremely worth it, I was quite surprised by the story of Wagashi. It went quite dark I feel for a game kids can play!
As you can see below I have played this game for 88.27 hours XD
So any criticisms, well yes even though I love the game so much of it could have been better...
My main criticism is actually that the NPC's other than the main characters don't have names, I think that's a bit lazy on the developers part, I mean does it really take that long to program a name?
Obviously the Graphics can be much better, also a bit lazy and old fashioned looking but that doesn't bother me much because I play old games all the time, it was however what most people complained on so it's worth a mention.

📷 New Pokemon Snap Review 📷
Ok I've not played the old one yet, but when it releases on switch this month I'll definitely check it out.
I love taking photographs, it's the artist in me. Being able to take professional looking photos of my Pokémon is amazing to me. it's however locked on to a sort of train ride and you cannot move from. Being on the rails means you have to take your snaps super quickly.
Wonder if they'll ever make an open world Pokémon snap? 📷
You are part of a research team called L.E.N.S (Laboratory of Ecological and natural Sciences) it's up to you to take photographs for Professor Mirror who is also investigating the Illumina Phenomenon.
It's up to you to discover what is causing this Phenomenon in Pokémon.
🍄Overall its a great game, I however wonder why we can throw flufffruit onto Pokémon and seemingly destroy them...poor Morelull...🍄
This game features a social page for you to share your beautiful photographic creations.
This game has some amazing graphics as well, and I also believe we haven't seen the last of this game as quite recently this game received an update which added new Pokémon! Will they add more in the future? I'm actually counting on it! 📷

⭐ Paper Mario N64 Review ⭐
Paper Mario has always been a great series, I however never owned a N64 so only played Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door back in the day. So when I discovered that the WiiU has an amazing library of old games I had to try it out.
The story goes as follows. Bowser has stolen the Star Rod, a powerful tool that grants anyone's wishes. Bowser wishes to be invincible and be able to beat Mario. Bowser imprisons the star spirits who will not grant his wish of defeating Mario and therefore now nobody stands in his way!
Bowser visits peaches castle and lifts it into the air, here Mario tries to beat Bowser but is thrown down back to earth after the Star Rod grants Bowser invincible power! 🌠
🌠 Now Mario, unconscious back in the mushroom kingdom hears the plea of the star spirits who were entrapped by Bowser asking him to free them.
Mario then goes on an adventure travelling multiple places in search of the star spirits and Peach. ✨
Along the way he encounters many new allies who each have a power which helps Mario continue forward. This was only ever really replicated in the sequel Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door, which is a shame because this is what makes the first two games so enjoyable in my opinion is the companions and their powers which help you to solve puzzles. 🧩
✨ Personally this game is not my favorite in the franchise, I prefer stories were Bowser is not the main villain. I prefer stories like that as they are unpredictable however considering it was so early in the franchise for Mario I can understand why he was the main villain.
This game still holds up to this day, the game has amazing gameplay and is well worth playing if you haven't already. It's also being added to the Switch Virtual Console this month, so play it if you get the chance! 🌠

👾 Pokémon Unite Review 👾
So I've recently picked this up on the Switch, it's also on Mobile now. I like MOBA's so it's a mix of my two favourite genres.
It plays like other MOBA's, traverse the map and gain powerups to take over the opposing teams base! I'm a Cramorant main, because he's my baby and I love him! 🐦
💲 Of course the downside to these games is the amount of money you need to pay to become stronger and get better. 💲
Pokémon Unite has many ways of doing so for free with gatcha mechanics and daily quests. I'm quite tough now because of this.
⚔️ Some people let you down a lot in this game...If you do not have a great team to be with every match, with a good strategy your more than likely going to fail more often then not...
So I recommend finding a good team to join.
Overall the game is enjoyable, but repetitive, so it's up to the individual to decide whether they would like it or not. ⚔️

🐣 Review Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin 🥚
The story starts with Character Customization, not many hairstyles to choose from and only one with glasses...no option to put on glasses separately of this hairstyle.
The Rathalos are disappearing for some reason and a girl named Ena has a Rathalos egg given to her by guardian Ratha. upon the egg hatching we discover a strange looking Rathalos with black wings.
Travelling the world to find the answer the Rider and Ena find out it is the wings of Ruin, which is said to bring about the destruction of the world.
You now set out to find a way to stop the wings of ruins destructive power.
Throughout the game you will tame many more monsters from the world of Monster Hunter! They all have different powers that help you traverse the world.
My favorite is flying! How about yours?
The battles are rpg based but have big cutscenes for massive attacks which you build up every time you attack. 🐣
Is the game worth it? Absolutely! Especially if you love the Monster Hunter series already! I love hatching some new monsters to ride around on, makes me feel proud! 🐣

🍅🐓 Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Review 🐄🥕
The game takes a similar route to your usual farming games, with you taking over a family farm in a distant place.
You get on your motorbike and ride all the way to Olive Town to take over the old farm. It's up to you to help townsfolk and grow Olive Towns reputation!
Ok I will not lie, I was honestly disappointed with Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive town.
The townsfolk are kind of bland with me not really caring for anyone except Iori...Even then he was also not that exciting to speak to.
I feel the character of each Bachelor and Bachelorette was pretty bland, they are all quite nice, whereas in the past there have been miserable characters to balance them all out. 🥔
🥔 The cutscenes are pretty though, It opens up the game a lot! 🥔
🥒 Then something happened which made me change my tune about the game, an update that changed my perspective (literally) on the game! 🥒
🥬 Instead of character portraits, they added this Zooming function, which when speaking to people allows you to see their face! (It reminded me of Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life.) This opened the game up and made what was very bland characters now likeable! Being able yo see their faces changed how I felt for the game, I guess before I didn't feel like I was in their world? 🐓
I feel like any future games needs either this Zoom in camera or character Portraits because otherwise I feel left out. 🥒
There is still one huge problem I feel about this game, why is my characters head so big compared to the other characters? It's very noticeable and it's not aesthetically pleasing to the eye... 🥬
🥕 Overall is this game worth it? Yes now it is, but at launch it was not ready for release I feel, this game could have come out when every update was ready because now it feels complete to an extent; however we need one more update. 🐄
🐓 And that's allowing the DLC Marriage candidates to come with you to events...I mean especially if you're married you want to watch Fireworks with Ludos or Lisette right? I'm sure we all do! 🐂

Metroid Dread Review 🚀
This is my first ever Metroid game, I haven't played one before because I was too young for it before. I did used to watch my cousin and uncle play Prime so I know Samus Aran already.
The game starts with a transmission of an X Parasite being sent to The Galactic Federation, which they thought had been completely destroyed. With The video evidence in hand they dispatch robots called E.M.M.I.
🛰️ The E.M.M.I then go rogue and stop sending back transmissions to the Galactic Federation. Now it is up to Samus Aran to travel to ZDR and Investigate.
Being my first Metroid game I didn't know what to expect. At first I wasn't sure to buy this game or not, but I am glad I did!
The game is difficult yes, but I didn't realize how amazing Samus actually was! How many power ups she can acquire and how much she can actually do!
Each time you receive the new power up you can see how much the developers want you to explore, often sending you back and forth to different areas. Some people will probably think it's tedious, but I do love exploration in games!
Because of it's difficulty I often feel really pleased I even managed to kill a boss! ⭐

🍂Littlewood Review🍂
My first review will be a game I picked up recently for the Nintendo Switch called Littlewood. I have always loved farming games and heard this one was being released but did not pick it up until I saw the Super Rare Games physical edition on their website!
Once I had received it though, I could not put it down!
You are the Hero of Solomn who fought the Dark Wizard and defeated him! However you wake up today not being able to remember a thing about your battle or who you are...
⛏️ Thus the world of Solomn needs rebuilding, and it's up to you the hero to do so! Many new townsfolk will come along and request a home or a facility they wish to be build in your town!
Chop trees and Mine your way to helping deliver the villagers requests! Many facilities also need upgrading, which can be done using dewdrops, the games currency. The more you upgrade the more you unlock! And the closer you get to learning of the past and of the world of Solomn! 🌳
💖 As many farming games go, you are able to build relationships with the townsfolk and go on dates!
They will tell you stories about your past experiences with them, which of course you cannot remember! So I recommend getting to know them all and date them all when the options arise! 💖
