Alright, weird ask but here it goes. Hi. My name is Avalon, I’m the main writer.
Over the past few months, something has been physically wrong with my body and I’ve had to step back from writing. I work already but have had to reduce my hours from how bad pains are getting. I have student debt, it’s stressing me the fuck out and it’s not helping the situation. I was working so hard to fix this goal on my own but bills are tackling me on top of a loan I had to take out for a vehicle last year when my last car caught on fire (it’s actually a whack ass story) and normally I don’t ask for help but this is the one exception because I just had to reduce my hours due to health reasons on my end.
I’m stressed out of my mind. I would seriously appreciate ANYONE who could help, spread this, boost it, PLASTER IT if you can’t donate because hey, I get it. I don’t normally ask for help, I actually hate doing it because I prefer to work towards my goals by myself but I am reaching a point in my health where pain is becoming my new normal. I tried to work more hours at my job to fix this but I pushed myself to a point where I physically could not do it. I appreciate all of you. I seriously do. I miss writing here, I just haven’t had the energy for writing at all and it’s killing me that I have to ask you guys for help like this.

Flipping the Vinyl Pt 5 (Eddie x Henderson!Reader)
Tumblr media
Everyone ran into the house to see you curled up sobbing in Eddie's lap. Dustin eyed the damage done inside the house. There was things that had fallen off the wall, scuff marks on the floor. Arwen crept out of your room, rubbing against your leg.
"What happened?" Steve asked, noticing a knocked over vase. "That asshole Jason decided to pay a visit." Eddie muttered, holding you. "What!?" Lucas asked, alarmed. "He started saying that what happened to Chrissy was Y/n's fault, that he knew she was somehow involved and he tried to fucking hit her." Eddie explained. "So you hit back?" Steve asked. "Yeah. And I hit hard." Eddie muttered.
"I saw it." you mumbled. Eddie looked down. "I saw what was doing this." You said. "You know what we're dealing with?" Dustin asked. "Not exactly. I-I mean I saw him but... I don't know what he wants." you muttered. "He? Wait, we're dealing with a person?" Lucas asked.
"We're here! We're here! Is she okay!?" Nancy asked, running in with Robin behind her. She saw you on the floor, sighing with relief. "Are you okay?" Robin asked. "I don't even know what I saw... I mean- I don't even know if what I saw could even be considered human." You mumbled. "Do you have any guesses a motive?" Max asked hesitantly.
"No. All he said was something about 'joining him'." You muttered. You closed your eyes, shaking. "Wherever I was... It wasn't the Upside-Down. It..." fear rose in your voice. "There was so much blood." you whimpered. "Hey, Y/n... It's okay... We're here now you're safe and we have a solution to him getting... y'know in your head." Steve assured.
"Wait... Joining him- That almost sounds like... like Vecna." Dustin noticed. "Who?" Max asked. "Wait it does." Eddie agreed. "Who is Vecna?" Steve asked. "He's this guy in our campaign. He gains followers by mind manipulation." Lucas explained. "You're seriously using a board game as the comparison?" Steve asked. "We've done it before." Dustin reminded. "The Demogorgon" Lucas reminded. "The Mindflayer." Max recalled. "We've literally nicknamed streets after books" Robin chimed in. "Mirkwood." "Rivendell" "oh yeah. Club road is Lothlorian isn't it-" "Okay okay! I get it!" Steve halted.
You flinched at the noise and Eddie took notice, frowning slightly as you buried your face in his chest. "Well whatever Vecna is... we're fucking killing him" Eddie mumbled, holding you tightly. "Agreed" everyone said in unison.
You eventually laid down, playing songs on the cassette player. You weren't even sleeping, just staring off at the ceiling with tear stains on your cheeks. Eddie was in the living room, trying to hatch some sort of plan.
The agreement was someone had to stay with Max and you at all times. Eddie of course volunteered to be with you and Lucas voted that he should stay with Max. However then came the awkward subject of showers. Then it became Robin with Max and Nancy with you when you had to go to places like a bathroom where a guy couldn't enter.
Either way, the group was adamant about safety in numbers and also in walkmans. Steve ran to RadioShack, picking up four walkmans. Two for you and two for Max in case something happened to the originals both of you owned. Panic was with them all as they tried to formulate a way to hide this all from your mother. Then there was the matter of the funeral.
There was no way they would be able to let you wear a walkman through a funeral service or through your speech. The best they would be able to do is just hope for the best and watch you like a hawk.
By this point, you weren't sure if living was even worth it. There was too much going on. Chrissy was dead, Jason was convinced you killed her. The funeral was set for tomorrow and you couldn't even process the fact that your best friend was dead. On top of that, you were entrusting a bunch of teenagers with coming up with a plan to save your life.
Two weeks ago, life was simple. You were content with life being in the dull shape it seemed to take. You liked its simplicity. You thought that maybe, just maybe, you'd get one year where there wasn't some reason why you had to go off and save Hawkins.
Arwen curled up next to you. You felt her soft fur, sighing softly as you pet her. Eddie soon cracked open your door. "Hey... you wsnt anything? Food? Water?" He asked softly. "Lay with me." You mumbled. Eddie didn't hesitate as he laid next to you, holding one your hands.
You didn't seem to be registering most of the day. You were in this state of numb, one that was partial grief and the other part terror. You were alone. You were in a room with two people but Vecna managed to get you alone. There was no way you were going to stay alive, you could feel it.
"Y/n... I'm really worried about you." Eddie said. You looked over but didn't say anything. "I want to be able to help-" "You can't." You whispered. Eddie looked over watching as a tear slipped down your cheek. "He gets in my head... He weaponizes what I see... What I hear... He even weaponizes you..." You mumbled. Eddie didn't know how to comfort you. "And I just... I keep thinking that if I'm this scared... I can't imagine how terrified Max must be... I mean for fucks sake she-she's a kid."
"...I wish I could promise that there was a way to keep this from happening again. But for now, we've got to keep these records and cassette tapes going. It's the best we've got." Eddie finally said. "I know..." you breathed.
Silence filled the room again and Eddie looked over as you stared at the ceiling. Eddie leaned up slightly, noticing the guitar in the closet. He glanced over at you and then got up, making you sit up.
He picked up the guitar, fiddling with it to make sure it was in tune. You rose a brow. "What's your favorite song of all time?" He asked. "...What?" You asked confused. "Come on! Favorite song! Everyone's got one." Eddie asked making you even more confused. "I don't know uh..." You looked at your bookshelf and then back at him. "Would you judge me if it was Abba?" You asked. Eddie grinned making you smile slightly.
"Can I guess?" He asked. You moved, sitting at the foot of your bed, "I'm curious to know what song you think I'd like." you admitted. Eddie pondered before playing a familiar tune. "Lay All Your Love on me" Rang out through the room as he played the song carefully.
You snorted, laughing as he played the chords. "No? No laying of the love?" He asked, still playing. You laughed harder and he smiled. "No, my taste is depressing." you admitted. Eddie snorted, holding the neck of the guitar to silence the chords, "There's such thing as a depressing Abba song?" He asked. "It is if you go far enough into the rabbit hole." You said. "Oh my god... You're an Abba junkie." Eddie said making you giggle.
"That was like... The only song I know by them." He admitted. You stuck your hand out, him raising a brow before handing you the guitar. "Do not judge me, I have not played in years." You said. Eddie nodded, sitting next to you.
You strummed a few chords, setting a slightly sad atmosphere. You swallowed hard before you heard a light tap on the window. As if God had a sense of humor, you notice it began to rain. "I don't wanna talk" your voice was low, but beautiful. It caught Eddie off guard as he listened. "About things we've gone through. Though it's hurting me"
The last time you played this song it was with Chrissy in the room. She was doing her nails at your desk, remnants of the white nail polish actually still near the edges of the desk. She actually loved to listen to you play. She encouraged it even.
"Now it's history, I've played all my cards and that's what you've done too nothing more to say no more ace to play" She'd just space out, doing whatever activity, occasionally requesting a song or two. She'd swear up and down, one day you two would have a sleepover with the rest of the cheer squad so they could request songs too.... Back when life was normal. Or at least… As normal as it could be.
The winner takes it all, the loser's standing small beside the victory that's her destiny" You missed her. More than anything. You wanted to just see her one last time... Not in that god awful condition you saw her in last. "I was in your arms, thinking I belonged there, I figured it made sense building me a fence"
Eddie could see the slight pain in your eyes as you played. He could see just how scared you were. Vecna left you feeling helpless and despite the new way to block him out, Eddie understood why you were terrified. He was in the room with you when you blacked out. "Building me a home thinking I'd be strong there but I was a fool playing by the rules"
You looked over surprised, Eddie nodding for you to continue. You kept playing, Eddie joining you in harmony. Steve looked up from the counter as Nancy and Dustin spoke. "Guys" "Even if we know the name, we still don't know what will kill it" Nancy sighed. "Plus, it's not his real name... at least I highly doubt it's actually 'Vecna"." Robin added. "Guys" "Whatever it was, it left Y/n shaken-" "Guys do you hear that?" Steve asked.
"The gods may throw a dice" Everyone fell silent to hear singing. "Their minds as cold as ice" it wasn't loud by any means, but it was enough to make the house go quiet. "And someone way down here Loses someone dear" "Are they... Singing?" Nancy asked. "Yeah... And they don't suck." Robin noticed. "Never mind that- is that ABBA?" Steve asked.
Everyone turned to him. "Why do you know ABBA?" Max asked. "...It's a guilty pleasure." Steve admitted.
You looked at Eddie as the silence set in between the two of you. You didn't dare to move. Not when everything seemed to interrupt the two of you when either of you tried to move forward in any capacity.
Eddie though, couldn't pass up the moment. All was still and there was a moment to breathe. He slowly leaned forward, his lips hovering a few centimeters from yours. You could feel his breath. You could smell the weed on his breath.
The gap between the two of you closed, Eddie slowly lifting his hand to your cheek. You pulled away, not saying anything as you rested your forehead on his. "Thank you" you whispered. "For what?" Eddie asked quietly. "For being here... For making me feel more normal..." You said softly. He smiled slightly, pressing a kiss to your lips again.
"And uh... Don't think I'll just forget the fact that you know words to an Abba song. Two Abba songs actually." you said after a bit. He chuckled, rolling his eyes. "No one will believe you." He teased. "Well we all heard you two singing so-"
You and Eddie jumped, the guitar nearly falling from your lap until Eddie grabbed the neck. "JEsus ChRist!" He gasped. "How long have you been standing there!?" you asked Max. "Long enough to witness the make out session that we all saw coming." Steve said. Your face went red as you smacked your face into Eddie's chest making him laugh.
"You're cute when you're embarrassed." he chuckled. You let out a small chuckle and the group smiled. This was the first they had seen you comfortable since Chrissy. "Does anyone else want pizza?" Dustin asked. You raised your hand without looking up.
It felt weird having to halfway wear a walkman at the dinner table. The worst part was coming up with a plan for when your mom came home. Staying at someone else's house was going to be out of the question when Chrissy was dead. Plus, your mom had a tendency to become protective over you whenever things like this happened. When Will went missing it was just an annoying hover over you. When the "mall fire" broke out, you weren't allowed to hang out anywhere like an arcade. It had to be at a friend's house. By that point you had befriended Robin and Nancy so they weren't out of the question. Though you had never asked to stay with either of them before, you still felt that playing the grieving best friend card would help.
You hated lying to your mom. You felt like if you did die, she at least deserved an explanation as to why. Telling the truth though meant that she'd probably power down on her protective tendencies. You hated that feeling. More than anything. Just getting stuck in a constant state of "what do I do?"
"I don't think I've ever seen someone stare down a pepperoni that hard before." Steve said looking at you. "I just... finished my speech today and.. I still feel like it's not enough" you breathed. Steve felt a tinge of sadness for you. Even when he was at Scoops Ahoy, he saw you with Chrissy. That bond you had was unbreakable and to see it severed was awful. Eddie looked at you, watching as you ate. "I wish I could say something reassuring but... I don't know how the fuck we're going to handle this." Max said. "We'll fix it." Lucas said. "Eleven?" You suggested. "We tried calling, no one picked up." Dustin said. You sighed, listening to the Beatles tape.
This wasn't fair. You wanted to go back in time to when life was simple. To when it was normal. When you were more stressed over a chemistry class than the fate of the world. When you didn't have to fear for your life. Eddie tapped his pick necklace that was dangling from your neck. You looked over at him. "You're getting lost in there again." He said. You sighed looking at the table. "I'm not sure I'm making it out of this." You mumbled.
"Well that's comforting." Max muttered. "If he goes after you, I'm taking your place Max. I'm not letting you die." You halted. She looked at you surprised and Dustin frowned. "Neither of you are going to die!" He said. "Dustin." You sighed. "He's right, we're not letting that happen to either of you-" "ENOUGH." You yelled. "I get we're trying to be optimistic here but face it: we don't know who or what we're dealing with here! This thing has killed two people and now it wants a third and a fourth. Max is a kid! If we have to make a choice, which knowing how our luck is through these fucking events, we will, you will choose Max over me. Do I make myself clear?" You asked.
Steve closed his eyes and Robin fell silent. Nancy looked over at Dustin who seemed more upset towards your words. "Y/n, we have a funeral tomorrow. Now you're trying to drill it in our heads that you should be the one to die. Don't you realize you and Max aren't the only ones going through this!? You're my sister! Max is my friend! And I might lose one-- or god forbid-BOTH!" Dustin yelled. You crossed your arms with a sigh. "We can't fix everything. For fucks sake I have my headphones on at the dinner table trying not to actively die. This isn't a solution Dustin, it's a temporary fix." You said. Eddie looked at you.
"Y/n, I'm not letting you die." He said. "Eddie I'm just being realistic-" "Y/n, I get you're trying to prepare us for the worst but seriously, realistically speaking, we aren't letting you or Max die. Neither of you are going down. If anyone is going to die, it'll be me. Am I clear?" Eddie asked. You closed your mouth. "Am I clear?" Eddie repeated. You nodded. He sighed. "You should try to sleep. We have a funeral tomorrow." Eddie said. "Ah shit, I don't have a suit." Steve realized. "Fuck, neither do I." Eddie said. "We have two you'll probably fit into." Dustin said.
"I doubt you're our size kid." Eddie said. "No, we have Y/n’s dad's old suits from before he split." You said. Max looked over at you. "Your dad left?" She asked. "Well, technically me and Dustin are half siblings. Both of us have separate dads." You said. Nancy looked at you shocked. "Ryder is pretty cool." Dustin said. "Ryder?" Steve asked. "My dad. He's a travel photographer." You said. "What about your dad?" Max asked Dustin. "Mine's a deadbeat." He shrugged. "Ryder treats me like I'm his kid when he's around" Dustin said. "When he's around? So he pops up every so often?" Eddie asked. "Yeah. He's uh.... hold on, where was the last postcard from?" you asked. "Arkansas, I think." Dustin said.
"He's in Arkansas." You said. "Are your parents still together?" Steve asked. "Nooo. No. Mom's too much of a 'I want to stay in one place' person and dad is a wanderer." You shrugged. "Ever wish you were with him?" Lucas asked. You had a sweet smile on your face. "All the time. I love my dad." You said softly. Dustin sighed. "Right. Ryder did call by the way." He said. You looked over. "He did? When?" "When you were asleep." He said. "Oh." You seemed disappointed. "He said he'd call back in the evening but we haven't heard the phone since..." Dustin said.
You sighed and the phone rang, Dustin getting up. "Henderson residence" he said. You rose a brow. "Hi mom. No, Steve is with us. Y/n's not exactly in the mood to-" you got up and he looked at you. "Are you sure?" He whispered. "Yeah" you nodded. He handed you the phone. "Hey mom." You said quietly. Eddie looked at you. "Hey sweetie. My flight is delayed so I'm not going to be in tomorrow. But... I managed to get in touch with Ryder and he should be with you guys tonig-" "wait what!?" You asked shocked. "He said that he didn't get to talk to you and he was worried so he was heading out that way-" "Are you serious?" You gaped. "We're just worried honey-" "No no, it's fine I'm just surprised, the most we see him is Christmas and birthday." You said.
You heard a low rumble outside and grinned slightly. "He's here mama." "Stay safe baby." "I will-" you said before hanging up. You grabbed your jacket, Eddie looking at Dustin confused as you bolted out the door. The boys followed you outside to see a man with h/c hair removing a bike helmet and Dustin gaped as you jumped into his arms. "Dustin is that-" "Yeah that's..." he scratched his head trying to form a plan.
"That would be Ryder."

Flipping the Vinyl PT 4 (Eddie Munson x Henderson!reader)
Trigger warning: near death experience, rush slander, physical fighting.
Tumblr media
You all ended up back at your house, you curled up in your room. You had a record going to help you sleep as you stared vacantly at the ceiling. You were going to die. You knew it.
Eddie was terrified for you. The moment Nancy confirmed your fears was the moment he knew you were in danger. You made it clear you wanted to be alone, as did Max who was currently sitting at your desk with her walkman on. Neither of you were saying anything. You both didn't want to hallucinate again.
Max was writing as you closed you rolled onto your side. You could see a shadow beneath your door but by this point you didn't care who it was.
In reality, it was Eddie sitting in front of your door like a puppy waiting for permission to go in. He was scared for you. He was scared of losing you. All he wanted to do was hold you. But he knew why you wanted to be alone. Or at least with someone who knew what was happening.
Nancy walked in, looking at the sight. Dustin was silently freaking out, bouncing his leg. Steve was quietly talking to Robin and Eddie was sitting in the hall. Everyone though, looked over when they saw Nancy. "What's going on?" She asked.
"My sister is apparently dying." Dustin muttered. "What!?" Nancy asked, shocked. "Apparently she found a link between your friend and Chrissy. Everything lines up for her to be next... and Max." Steve explained. "Oh god." Nancy gaped.
You opened you bedroom door and Eddie bolted up, you jumping slightly. He opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. Instead he pulled you into a hug. You hugged him back, standing there for a few moments.
Nancy rose a brow. "When did Munson start dating Y/n?" She asked. "They're not, apparently." Robin said. You pulled away, wiping your eyes. "How can we fix it?" Nancy asked. "I don't know, none of us do." Dustin muttered.
"Shit" Eddie realized. "What?" You asked. "My uncle doesn't know where I am." Eddie said. "You're worried about that?" Steve asked. "Yes, dipshit, I have to go home and let him know I'm fine. I'll come right back, I just need to grab somethings." Eddie said. "Can I come with you? My room's beginning to feel too depressing." You said. "Yeah, okay." He said walking with you.
You both left, Nancy sighing. "Do we know what's causing it?" She asked. "No. Not really. We know it causes nose bleeds and headaches and hallucinations." Dustin listed. "Y/n thought it was from the Upside-Down" Robin said. "I've never heard of anything being able to do this." Nancy said. "I don't even know what would want to do this... why is it doing this- what's its motive?" Robin asked.
You got out the van with Eddie. "This is a little weird." He muttered. "How so?" You asked. "I mean, none of my friends have met my uncle but now you are and... I dunno I really want him to like you." Eddie said walking. "Because I'm your friend?" You asked. "Well, yeah and..." Eddie looked over at you before clearing his throat. "Yeah." He said before opening the front door.
An older man looked over, looking relieved. "Thank god." He said. "Hey old man." Eddie greeted. "Don't start with that shit, do you know how worried I was?" He asked. "I know, I saw what happened, I came home as soon as I could." Eddie sighed. "You call me next time." The man said. "I will." Eddie assured. The man sighed before noticing you.
He rose a brow, looking at you. "Hello there." He said. "Uhm- Hi." You greeted with a small wave. "Who's this?" He asked. "Y/n, this is my Uncle Wayne. Wayne, this is Y/n." Eddie introduced. "This is your friend? Girlfriend?" Wayne asked. "Friend- Wayne she's a friend." Eddie said, a new nervousness creeping into his voice. Wayne noticed it.
"Calm down, it's a perfectly logical question. I've never met one of your friends and she's wearin' your jacket." Wayne said. You felt your cheeks heat up and Eddie sighed. "I'm uh... staying at Dustin's for a bit. We're making a new campaign and whatnot." Eddie lied. "Alright." Wayne nodded. "I'm going to pack a bag. Y/n, you want anything?" Eddie asked. "I think I left something here." You said quietly. "Oh, she's been here before?" Wayne asked. Eddie sighed. "Come on before he embarrasses me any further" Eddie said making Wayne snort.
You walked into Eddie's room and he looked over. "What did you actually need?" Eddie asked. "How did you know?" You asked. "Because you had that look that said 'I need to talk to you'." Eddie shrugged. You rose a brow. "I have a look?" You asked. "Yeah, you move your eyes a lot when your thinking. You also figet a lot-" "You watch me?" You asked. "...Uh..." Eddie cleared his throat. "Can you blame me?" He asked. "What does that mean?" You asked, confused by the clear flirting that was happening. "It's hard not to watch what you do Y/n, you literally make everything look good." He said bluntly.
You blinked, Eddie shuffling before grabbing a backpack. "Anyway, what did you need?" He asked. "I just... wanted to know how long you were staying with us." You said, still reeling from Eddie's choice of words. "Until you're safe." He said simply. You opened your mouth to speak but Eddie spoke.
"I mean, someone has to make sure you don't get someone else killed." He muttered. You knew what this was. "No" you whimpered.
Eddie looked over his shoulder to see you. Your eyes distant, almost spaced out and you weren't moving. "Y/n?" He called. You didn't budge. No movement. Nothing. "Y/n, you're freaking me out, say something." He said. Again, no movement. He snapped his fingers in front of your face but still nothing.
"You did this. You know you are what caused all of this" "Stop it. Whatever you are just stop!" You pushed your hands forward and Eddie was shoved back, him hitting his nightstand. He stared at you confused. "Ow" he winced. You soon realized you were back in reality and you stared at your hands. "I-I didn't mean... I..." Eddie got up, rubbing his back. "Y/n, it's okay-" you moved away from him as he tried to reach out. "I don't want to hurt you" you said. "Y/n... I'm okay" he assured.
"Is everything okay over here? I heard a thud." Wayne asked. "We're okay, I just dropped something" Eddie lied. "Oh. Okay. Y/n, did you want some water? You look pale." Wayne asked. You swallowed hard. "I-I need air." You said before walking outside.
You sat at the small picnic area, putting your face in your hands. You hurt him. You shoved him into a god damn nightstand. Distance sounds of a radio playing on a porch was the only noise besides a light breeze that you could hear.
You heard someone sit next to you. You looked over to see Wayne with a cigarette. "Y'know, when I saw that news report this morning, all they said was that a boy was killed.... didn't give a description or nothing. Thought it might've been Eddie." Wayne said. You didn't say anything. "Thought that bastard Viktor got to him." He muttered before letting out a breath of smoke. "Viktor?" You asked. "Viktor Kreel. Same shit happened years ago. Man just turned on his family, killed them in that same brutal fashion and everything. They thought it was insane because no human should've been able to do it." Wayne explained.
You stared at the ground, deep in thought. "You alright there?" He asked. "Yeah..." you muttered before clearing your throat. "I just get overwhelmed easily and I guess I just... my bestfriend died yesterday. Haven't really been handling it well." You admitted. Wayne rose a brow. "That girl on the news was your friend?" He asked. You nodded. "...I'm so sorry for your loss." He said softly. "Thanks" you muttered.
"Y/n, are you okay?" Eddie asked, walking out with his backpack. "Ye... yeah." You cleared your throat. "You ready to go?" He asked. "Yeah." You got up, walking back to the van. "Don't be afraid to come back. You're always welcome." Wayne said. "Thank you" you nodded. You got into the van, Eddie tossing his backpack in the back. "Hey... Y/n" Eddie said. You looked over. "It's okay." He said.
You looked at your hands again. "I hurt you." You muttered. "You were hallucinating." Eddie said. "What happens if I see something worse- What if I seriously hurt you Eddie or Dustin-" Eddie put his hand over yours. You looked at him with tears in your eyes. "I can't trust what I see anymore" you whimpered. Eddie held your hand, not saying anything. Then he had an idea.
He took off his necklace that was a red guitar pick, putting it on you. You looked at him confused. "Anytime you think you're hallucinating, just hold on to this. That way, you've got a piece of reality where ever you go." He said. You nodded slowly, holding the pick in your hand. You let out a shaking breath before leaning back.
"First your jacket, now your necklace. I'm beginning to steal your whole style." You joked. Eddie cracked a smile before turning on the car. The radio turned on to a news report, going over the events of the morning. Eddie noticed that look. One that was worried and scared.
"Your uncle... he uhm..." you cleared your throat. "He thinks a guy named Viktor Creel did the murders." You said. Eddie rose a brow. "Think he's on to something?" Eddie asked. "I think it's worth looking into." You said. Eddie nodded before reversing.
When you arrived back at the house, you were met with everyone sitting around. Max was sitting on the couch, her headphones on. "Hey" Nancy said back. "I think I might have our first lead." You said. Max looked up. "Eddie's uncle said this wasn't the first time something like this happened, apparently there was some sort of incident with a man named Viktor Creel who turned on his family." You explained. Nancy pondered before getting up. "Where are you going?" Steve asked. "Uh... I'm just looking into this, you go with Max." Nancy said.
"Max is going somewhere?" You asked. "Yeah I... I have to do a few things. I also have something for you." She said, getting up and handing you an envelope. "Don't open it. Not until I-" "You're not going to die." Lucas said, you jumping. "When did you get here?" You asked. "An hour ago." He answered, looking at Max.
"When are we leaving?" Steve asked. "Let's go now." Max said. "Are you coming with us?" Steve asked. You shook your head. "I have write my speech for Chrissy's... funeral.." you said, the mentions of her death leaving a bitter taste in your mouth. Steve nodded but looked over to Dustin. "Dustin, you coming?" Steve asked. "No. I don't want to leave Y/n by herself." Dustin said.
"I'm not by myself." You said. Dustin looked over at Eddie "keep her safe." Dustin said. "That was the plan." Eddie said. Dustin sighed. "Alright. I'll go. I'm leaving my radio with you." He sighed.
Soon you were sitting at your desk with Arwen laying in the window sill in front of you. Eddie was kneeled down, going through your vinyl as you wrote. "No fucking way." He gaped. You looked over as he held up an Abba album. "You listen to Abba?" Eddie asked. You smiled slightly at him. "It's a guilty pleasure." You admitted. "Oh AND Fleetwood Mac? Now this is a normal guilty pleasure but Abba and Fleetwood Mac? Y/n" he leaned forward. "Is this a cry for help? If I poke around, am I going to find a Rush album?" He asked dramatically. "Eddie, it's two guilty pleasures, not need for psychiatric help, I don't like Rush. I have ears." You answered making Eddie grin.
He looked over. "The Beatles- score!" He said, grabbing another album. You turned back to your speech and sighed, leaning back in your chair. Soft notes played in the background. "How are you feeling?" Eddie asked. "Tired." You mumbled. "Understandable." Eddie nodded. Arwen brushed against your arm and you pet her. "Your cat's sweet." Eddie said. "She is." You agreed. "Gets it from her owner." Eddie said making you smile slightly. "Eddie..." you swallowed hard.
"If I die-" "You won't." Eddie halted. "Eddie please just listen to me." You sighed. "You're not going to die-" "If I die I need you to know that I've never connected with another person besides Chrissy like this." You spoke over him. Eddie looked at you. "I used to think that you were one of those prissy cheerleaders. I assumed the worst when you said you wanted to meet with me and... I'm so glad I was wrong." Eddie said. "Well, I have my prissy moments." You said. He chuckled. "I'm serious! You should've seen me when we were trying to name Arwen! I threw a tantrum!" You said making Eddie smile.
He took your hand into his, both of you sitting in a comfortable silence. You stared into his eyes, almost like you were looking for an answer to a neverending question. Eddie swallowed hard, you looking at him. "Eddie... I-" the sound of a car door cut you off and you rose a brow, looking out of your window. You recognized that car as Jason's and you stood up. "Y/n?" Eddie asked. You said nothing, watching the outside before hearing a knock on the front door.
You opened your drawer, grabbing a pocket knife. Eddie frowned. You couldn't explain it but you had this gut feeling that being around Jason wasn't safe without some sort of protection. You walked into the living room, Eddie following you as you cracked the front door. "What do you want Jason?" You asked. "We need to talk." He said. "I believe that's what we're doing right now." You said simply. "Smart ass." A boy muttered behind him.
"Were you the one that bought Chrissy drugs?" Jason asked. Shit. Shit shit shit. Eddie looked at you concerned as your grip around your knife tightened. "Don't lie to me either, I'll know." Jason said. You frowned. "I didn't even know Chrissy was capable of even thinking drugs much less doing them." You lied. Jason let out a scoff. "You're lying." He declared. "No I'm not." You argued. "If you're not, why is Munson's shady ass van outside?" He asked.
You had to lie and quickly. Or... maybe you could bend the truth. "He wasn't selling her drugs Jason." You said. "Then answer my fucking question. What is he doing here?" Jason spat. "He was selling me weed. I got anxious and needed to take the edge off." You declared. There. That wasn't a lie.
"I don't believe you." Jason growled. "Then what is the fucking point of questioning me when you don't believe anything I tell you." You scoffed. "Don't fucking start with me Y/n." Jason huffed. "Start what- you're the asshole that showed up at my house unannounced and are trying to accuse me of giving my bestfriend drugs. If anything you're the one trying to start shit." You shot back. Jason frowned. "You did this. I know you did." Jason declared.
Those words cut you like the knife in your hand. You almost wondered if you were hallucinating in that moment but you weren't hearing this from someone that legitimately cared about you. "Get off my property or I am calling the cops." You threatened. Jason was burning holes through you as he glared.
Unexpectedly, he shoved you back, Eddie immediately rushed over, yanking Jason away from you. "Don't you fucking touch her." Eddie said. Your heart pounded as Eddie readied himself to fight. Your eyes wandered over to the wall though, noticing an odd crack form. You frowned, squinting at it before Jason shoved Eddie back.
Jason's back up stayed outside, watching from the open door as Eddie's back collided with the wall. You cut your attention back to the fight before hearing a loud chime, you turning around to see the clock. "Eddie" you called as Eddie's fist collided with Jason's jaw.
You noticed someone cross the hallway in front of you, a sense of vertigo filling your Vision before you heard a voice.
"You will break."
You turned around and suddenly, you weren't standing in your living room. Instead, you were standing in some sort of location that was dark and very much red. You slowly walked forward before noticing what appeared to be some sort of pole with someone on it. You shot back, realizing it was the boy from the paper.
As you shot back though, your back collided with another pole, you turning to see the worst possible thing. It was Chrissy. You screamed, falling to the ground.
Eddie shoved Jason away before noticing you standing in the hall. You were standing eerily still, your eyes rolled back. "no" Eddie whispered before Jason managed to gain the upperhand, slamming Eddie to the floor. Still, Eddie's focus was on you. "Y/N! STAY WITH ME!" He yelled. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Jason growled, punching Eddie.
"You are just like the others." The same disembodied voice from earlier said in the hallway. "A liar" it seemed to be coming from somewhere near you. "A cheater" it seemed to be getting closer. "A pretender."
What stood before you couldn't be called a man. It was if the skin had been stripped away from him. You bit back a scream of terror as he approached you. "Join me" he said, extending his hand. You slid back, your hands getting covered in some sort of liquid.
You finally managed to get up, making an attempt to run before something wrapped around your ankle, yanking you back onto a pole. You yelped, terror coursing through your body.
Jason was kicked in the stomach, winding him enough that Eddie could stand. You were still standing in the hall, unresponsive to anything. Jason prepared to strike again but you did something unexpected.
You floated upwards.
Jason shot backward, staring at you in horror. "What the fuck did you do!?" Jason asked Eddie. Eddie ignored Jason when he heard something.
"Y/N!? EDDIE!? DO YOU COPY!?"
Eddie bolted past you, picking up the radio. "Y/n is fucking floating- I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO DO!" Eddie yelled. "MUSIC!" Robin yelled into the radio. "We found out that it blocks whatever's doing this out, play her a song or something!" Nancy said. Eddie frantically rummaged through your desk before finding a walkman. He took the cassette that was in it out, running back to the living room and snatching the radio on the kitchen counter. He put the casette in, pressing play.
You had something wrap around your neck, leaving you helpless when your ears were flooded with a different noise. You could hear Fleetwood Mac being played.
"Y/n damn it, don't you fucking die on me!" Eddie shouted. You reached out, wanting to at least feel his hands one last time. The creature though, seemed distracted enough that you slipped out of his grasp.
You could see a light and you took off towards it, the creature glaring at the seemingly successful escape.
Jason was so alarmed by what he was seeing that he took off, leaving the door wide open as he and his friends left.
More of the liquid on the ground splashed against your legs as the metalic smell made you realize you were sprinting through blood. You finally reached out, running through the light.
You hit the floor, gasping for air as you fell. Eddie sprinted to your side, you holding his arms tightly as you sobbed. "Don't let me go, please- don't let me go" you sobbed. Eddie pulled you to his chest, relieved he managed to get you back in time.
"Don't worry princess, I'm right here" Eddie mumbled as you sobbed into his chest.
"I'm staying right here."

Flipping the Vinyl PT 3 (Eddie Munson x Henderson!reader)
Tumblr media
When Eddie woke up, he heard sounds in the kitchen. He opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling and realizing there was a small weight on his chest. He looked down, seeing you sound asleep. Next to your arm though, was the cat he assumed was Arwen.
"Arwen! Breakfast!" a voice called, the cat perking up. She climbed over you and scurried away into the hall. You leaned up, blinking a few times.
What you saw last night, was that dream or was it real? Was this what Chrissy saw? Images of someone she loved telling her she was at fault for things beyond her control? Was this why she was truly terrified?
Eddie noticed a distracted look as he pulled some of your hair away from your face. "Hey, you okay?" He asked softly. You looked over with a small smile. "I'm okay..." You lied. You now had to decipher what last night meant. What was doing this?
Eddie could tell that something was on your mind. You heard the phone ring, Dustin answering. You inhaled sharply. "We have to get up." You said. Eddie nodded and you finally registered that Eddie was in your bed. "I wasn't a pain to deal with, was I?" You asked. "No, honestly I fell asleep with you." He said. "Good... Good." You nodded. Eddie looked at you. "You seem distracted." He noticed. "Well there is a boy in my bed." you pointed out. "that you're also laying on might I add." He said. You flushed pink and he smiled slightly.
He moved strands away from your eyes again, staring at you before his eyes wandered to your lips. You both were quiet and Eddie moved closer, you swallowing hard before-
"Y/n, there's a call for you!" Dustin called. You and Eddie froze before you finally sighed, getting up. Eddie didn't move for a moment. If Dustin hadn't called you, what would've happened?
You stepped out your room, walking to the phone. "it's Chrissy's parents" Dustin whispered. "...oh." You mumbled before picking up the phone. "Hello?" you asked, clearing your throat. For a split second you forgot about Chrissy's death. Guilt crept into your mind as you waited for the response.
Eddie walked into the kitchen seeing you on the phone. "Yeah. sure, when is it?" you asked quietly. "Okay. Yes ma'am." You said. Finally you hung up. "You okay?" Eddie asked. "They want me to speak at her funeral." You mumbled. Eddie gave you a look of sympathy. "You know Y/n if you need to talk... we're all here to listen." Robin said. "Yeah." Steve nodded. You sat at the table. "Has mom called?" You mumbled. "Uh, yeah. She called an hour ago. I... I told her what happened she's on her way home." Dustin said. "Okay" you mumbled.
"When do you want to go back for your car Steve?" Eddie asked. "Wha- oh shit! I did leave it there!" Steve realized. Robin kicked Steve under the table noticing your distant look. "What?" Steve said through his teeth before noticing you. You locked onto a spot on the table and just spaced out.
"It's your fault. Never should've left her." Robin said. You looked up. "What?" You asked. "You know what you did Y/n." Robin said. "I didn't mean to leave her- she told me she wanted to be by herself!" You snapped. "You abandoned her and now look at what happened. You got her killed." She declared.
Dustin sat a plate in front of you and you jumped, snapping back to reality. "Y/n?" Robin asked. The sound of her voice amplified your fear. "I need to be alone" you said, abruptly leaving. Steve and Dustin exchanged a confused look as you locked yourself in your room.
You were alone now, hopefully making the voices stop would work if you were alone. Steve knocked on your door, concerned. "What?" You asked, annoyance creeping through your voice. "Y/n, you haven't eaten anything. At least take the plate or something-" "Steve, I have a really bad headache, go away!" You said.
Eddie rose a brow, looking over at Dustin. "Any clue why she's suddenly all weird?" Eddie asked. "No" Dustin said confused. The front door opened and everyone turned, Max standing there. "Hey, why's everyone standing around that door?" Max asked. "Y/n randomly flipped out on us." Robin said. "Weird." Max said before shrugging.
"Eddie, was she weird at all last night?" Steve asked. "No? I mean, she slept like a log. Got up once but that was it." Eddie said. "What the hell is going on with her?" Dustin muttered before knocking on your door. "Y/n? Hey, we're all kind of worried can you open the door." Dustin called. There was no answer. "Y/n?" Steve called. "Screw this." Eddie said before opening your door. You weren't in your room. However your bedroom window was open. "Wha-Why did she run off!?" Dustin asked. "Something's going on. People don't run unless something's wrong." Robin said. "Do you know where she might've gone?" Steve asked Dustin. "No! She's never done something like this-" Eddie had a small realization, turning around and grabbing his keys.
"Realize something there?" She asked. "I think I've got it handled-" "Nope, we're all going. We still need to discuss the Upside-Down stuff." Steve halted. "Fine. But we don't talk until she's in the van" Eddie said. "Fine" everyone agreed.
Eddie confused them all by driving to the highschool as he got out. "Let me handle it." He said. "Why are we-" "just trust me Henderson." He said grabbing his jacket. "Why are you grabbing your jacket?" Robin asked. "Because it's cold and I don't want her sick." He said before walking away.
You sat at the picnic table with your legs pulled to your face. You had just gotten another nose bleed and headache. The talking outside your bedroom door got to be too much so you took off.
You heard a twig snap and you looked up, seeing Eddie. "Oh god not again" you breathed. You couldn't stand another hallucination. Not right now. You closed your eyes putting your hands over your ears.
"Y/n what are you doing?" Eddie asked, confused by your efforts to block him out. "I can't hear you lalalala" you kept trying to block it out. Eddie blinked, walking over and putting a hand on your arm. You opened your eyes. "... You're real?" You asked quietly. "Why wouldn't I be real?" Eddie asked. You said nothing, hugging him tightly. He hugged you back, confused. "Y/n, princess, you've gotta tell me what's going on" Eddie said, pulling away.
You looked upset. Scared even. "Promise you won't tell the others?" You asked. "I promise." He nodded. "I know what Chrissy saw when she died." You admitted. "What?" Eddie asked. "Last night, I-I heard someone call to me. And then- then this morning I hallucinated Robin saying some god awful shit. Eddie, I can't-I can't tell what's real anymore- I-I don't know what to do" you whimpered.
Eddie held you, caressing your head to soothe you. "We'll figure it out." He said softly. You couldn't explain it but those words brought you an instant calm. You pulled away, wiping your eyes. Eddie pulled hair away from your eyes, keeping a hand on your cheek. "Is there anyone that Chrissy talked to about what she was seeing?" Eddie asked. "No... just me...." you said. Your eyes widened. "And the councilor" you realized.
Eddie and you emerged from the woods with his jacket once again, draped over your shoulders. "Thank god! Where the fuck did you go!?" Robin asked. "We need to get to the councilors office." You said abruptly. Max rose a brow. "Why?" Max asked. "Because I think she might have an answer as to what happened to Chrissy. And we need answers." You said. "I mean... we'd need a key." Steve said. "She keeps them with her." Max said.
"So we need a way into her house." You said. "So we need to break into two locations?" Dustin asked. "No need. I can get into her house." Max said. You all looked at her. "You're sure?" You asked. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure." Max said. "Alright. Need anything?" You asked. Max looked around and spotted a payphone. "Yeah. Change."
You all ended up sitting in Eddie's van as Max went inside the councilor's house. "So how did you know where to find me?" You asked curiously. "You said you wanted to be alone." Eddie shrugged. "So you thought, 'hmm. She'd go to the woods'?" You asked. "No, I figured you'd do it because it's something I'd do." Eddie shrugged.
"When you're done flirting, I'd still love to know what the hell motivated you to run off." Dustin said. "I had a headache and just needed to get out of there." you lied. Dustin frowned. "You're having headaches again?" He asked. "Not like that, no. I just got worried it was a migraine and left to get away from noise." You sighed.
"Migraines are a common problem with you?" Eddie asked. "Used to be. Yeah." You sighed. "Was something wrong?" Eddie asked. "I just repeatedly overworked myself. Chrissy has... Had the same issue." you corrected yourself. "oh." Eddie nodded before Max came back out to the van. "Drive." she said. "Okay, to the highschool." He announced.
You felt anxious, picking at the fabric on your pants. What if the councilor had nothing? What if this was false hope? Eddie noticed that distant stare and he held your hand. You looked over, saying nothing but feeling a tad bit better than before.
You noticed cop cars racing along the road. "Wait." you halted. Eddie looked over. "Follow them." you said. Everyone stared at you. "what?" Robin asked. "Follow them." You repeated. Eddie nodded, turning on the same road.
It didn't take long to find the road blocked off by police. You parked from a distance as you noticed where you were. "This is on the way to Chrissy's." You realized. "Okay, and?" Steve asked. "Doesn't it seem weird that two incidents are happening in the same area?" Dustin asked. "We don't even know that there is an- Nancy?" Steve noticed Nancy being questioned by police as you stared at the body.
It was a boy. You recalled seeming him various times with the yearbook committee and the paper. Except now you were seeing him dead and in this horrific state. If this was like Chrissy, then Christopher was right. No human, no living person did this.
Nancy noticed the group, her nodding to you guys with a slightly relieved look. When she had a moment to step away, she walked over. "hey, what happened?" Steve asked. "I-I don't know, he wandered off and when I found him... He was... Like that. They said they found Cunningham just like that." She said. Alarm bells sounded off in your mind.
"Did you notice anything weird with him?" you asked. "What do you mean?" Nancy asked. "Was he spacing out a lot? Seeing things?" you asked, anxiety creeping into your throat. "I don't know about the seeing things part, but he did space out a few times. Why?" Nancy asked. "Nose bleeds?" You asked. "One yesterday. What's going on?" Nancy asked again.
"School." you said, tugging on Eddie's sleeve. "Okay, everyone back in the van." Eddie agreed. "Wha- what about-" "Now or you're walking." Eddie said, a sense of urgency and seriousness in his voice that made everyone move.
When you arrived at the school, you were practically sprinting down the dark halls to the office. Eddie was right next to you, that same fear for you rising in himself. This was the second victim. If this boy was seeing what you were seeing, it wasn't a good sign.
Everyone was puzzled on why you were rummaging through the cabinets when you pulled out Chrissy's file and the paper boy's. Your heart dropped as you read and compared both of them, your legs giving out as you fell into the councilor's chair.
"Y/n?" Steve asked. "I'm going to die." you whispered. Eddie read what you put on the desk as he looked up. "No" He whispered, looking at you. "Slow down. What do you mean you're going to die?" Robin asked. "I keep- I keep seeing things- I hallucinated this shit this morning- I got the nosebleed last night" You were frantic, your heart racing.
Max seemed alarmed as she backed into a cabinet. Everyone noticed the panicked look on her face. "Max?" Dustin asked. Steve frowned, seeing that same scared look on her face. "oh god." he muttered. "What? What's wrong?" Robin asked.
"They're both experiencing the same things." Steve said. "Then that... if what they're saying is true..." Dustin didn't have the heart to say it.
"They're both in line to die next."

Flipping the Vinyl Pt 2 (Eddie x Henderson!Reader
Tumblr media
Blue and red lights flashed reflected on the side of Steve's car as he walked over with a water bottle. "Here." Steve said softly as you sniffled, Eddie's jacket wrapped around you. The March air was cool and crying certainly didn't help with the dripping from your nose.
You sniffled, Eddie's arm remaining around you. He tried to pull away once but those eyes wouldn't let him leave. Not when he knew you needed him. Dustin sat on your other side, watching the scene. "Excuse me, you can't be here this is a crime-" "She's family." Chrissy's father Phillip said. You stood up, hugging him.
"Come on inside, we have a few questions we'd like to ask." Powell said. You turned to the group. "We'll be here." Dustin assured. You walked inside, sitting on the couch. Callahan sat across from you with a notepad. "So, she's not actually family, right-" "come on Callahan, you've known all of us since we could crawl." You said, Powell handing you a tissue. You said a small thank you, Callahan sighing. "I'll ask the questions from here, Phil." Powell said.
The two switched spots and Phillip handed you a glass of water. "Were you aware of anything at all that could've led up to... This?" Powell asked. You swallowed a forming lump in your throat. "She... She said she was seeing things. Before she..." Your voice broke and you put your face in your hands.
"Seeing things? Like what?" Powell asked. "I don't know, she seemed frantic every time it was brought up." You sniffled. "She didn't mention anything specific?" Callahan asked. "She-she mentioned a clock. And- and she could hear someone." You said. Powell rose a brow. "Did she tell either of you?" Powell asked her parents.
"No, Chrissy didn't share much of her personal life with us" Phillip admitted. "This shouldn't have happened- why did this happen!?" Laura, Chrissy's mother sobbed. You closed your eyes, sniffling. "I know this is hard. For all of you. But are you sure there isn't anything she might've said or did? Anything that might-" "The lights." Robert, Chrissy's brother who was around Dustin's age said.
You turned to the boy as he stood at the base of the stairs. His eyes were puffy and had dark bags under them. "What?" You asked. "Last night, the lights went berserk. I-I heard a thud. I didn't think much of it until... I found her... like that." He said. "Like what?" You asked. Everyone seemed deeply unsettled by that question.
"That's all we need for now-" "How was she found?" You asked. Powell looked at Phillip and he spoke. "She-she didn't have her eyes. And her bones... All of them they were..." Phillip put a hand over his mouth and let out a small sob.
This didn't sound like any human did this. And judging by the comment made by Robert, it meant something from the Upside-Down did this. You didn't say anything, staring off when Powell noticed. "Y/n? Something to add here?" He asked. You had to come up with something.
"I... Remember one of the Byers saying that when Will went missing... Electricity went berserk." You said. Powell rose a brow. "You think that the government did this?" He asked. "No, I think they might know what did." you corrected. Powell and Callahan exchanged another look. "That's all we needed. We're sorry for your loss Mr. and Mrs. Cunningham." Powell said.
Robin walked down the street, noticing the various cop cars out. She thought something odd was going on for sure, but became concerned when she found Eddie, Steve and Dustin sitting on the edge of the sidewalk.
Eddie's eyes were glued to the front door of the house that the police were all in front of. "What the fuck is going on here?" Robin asked. Steve looked over. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "Went for a walk. What's your excuse?" She asked. "Chrissy Cunningham died." Steve answered. "Why's Munson with you?" Robin motioned to the boy watching the door.
"He was with Y/n last night." Dustin sighed, rolling a small pebble with his fingers. "You... Were?" She asked Eddie. "Yeah..." Eddie muttered. "...Are you two a thing now?" Robin asked. "What? No I just-" You stepped out of the house and Eddie rose to his feet.
To say you looked like hell would be the understatement of the century. Your eyes were puffy and now you looked sickly as you sniffled. Eddie just wanted to hold you and tell you that he'd be there for you through all of this. However, seeing as the two of you just got to know each other yesterday, he figured it'd be a bit of an awkward gesture rather than a kind one.
However, you wanted that. You wanted nothing more than to just curl back up with Eddie and block out the world. Whether high or sober, Eddie provided a sense of safety you hadn't felt in a long time. Because you just met the boy yesterday though, those thoughts remained silent.
"You okay, Y/n?" Robin asked. "I think... I think another gate is open." You finally spoke. "What?" Robin, Dustin and Steve all asked in unison. Eddie seemed confused on what this meant. "That's not possible, the Russians are gone and so is El." Dustin reminded. "Then someone found another way Dustin, I am telling you this wasn't normal." You said. "Slow down. What's making you think this?" Steve asked. "Christopher said last night he saw the lights go berserk before hearing a thud. Then this morning he found... Chrissy... with her bones broken and her eyes gouged out." You said. Everyone gaped at your description.
"What the fuck would even do that!?" Dustin asked. "I don't know, I was with Nancy and Jonathan when we first saw the Demogorgon, that thing basically tore into whatever it could get its hands on. I don't think it'd even have the motor functions to do that." You said. "Wait- Demogoron?" Eddie's question went unnoticed as the group spoke.
"A demodog does the same thing, the only thing that would have close to that ability was the Mindflayer. And that's for sure, dead." Dustin said. "Mindflayer? What the fuck-" Eddie again went unnoticed. "So it's something new? Wait, how did another gate even open? Who would have the ability to do something like that?" Robin asked. "I don't know but we have to figure it out." You said. "Woah there stop stop stop." Steve halted.
"What Steve?" You asked. "What makes you sure this is the Upside-Down?" Steve asked. "Because what else would do that? Steve it's Chrissy, the girl is a walking..." You closed your eyes, clearly pained. "Was a walking saint." You said. Steve opened his mouth but looked at you again before sighing. "So what's the plan?" Steve asked.
"Figure out what the fuck all of you are talking about." Eddie finally said, making you all realize he was the one person who didn't know. "...Fuck" Steve said. "Should we tell him?" Robin asked. "Yes." You said immediately. "Wha- Woah there Sailor-" "Look we just said all of that in front of him, the most we're doing is giving him context." Dustin said. "You'd be putting him in danger!" Steve said. "Just tell me already. Why are you guys talking about D&D characters?" Eddie asked.
"Well-" "Not here." You said abruptly. You nodded to the cops and Steve sighed. "Where are we going?" Steve asked. "some place that isn't bugged." Dustin said. "Not bugged? What-" "I might can think of a place." Steve realized.
You all crammed into Eddie's van, sitting in the back with Eddie as Steve drove. "You okay?" Eddie asked. "No." You muttered. "....Y'know I'm here for you... right?" He asked. "Thanks." You said, Eddie giving you a small smile. You smiled slightly, picking at a bracelet you wore. "What's that?" Eddie asked. "Something Chris gave me. She wears..." you cleared your throat. "She wore one too." You corrected yourself quietly. Eddie bit his lip debating on what to do when Steve parked.
"....Where are we?" You asked. "The woods." Steve said, getting out. You all followed him to a giant rock, him sitting on the ground. "Alright. Talk." Steve said. "...Steve. Where the fuck are we?" Robin asked. "Skull rock." Steve said. "So we tell you we need some place private and you drag us to your makeout spot?" You asked. "Oh god, that's what this is?" Robin grimaced. "Do you have any other ideas!? No!? Then shut up!" Steve said. You sighed.
"What is going on?" Eddie asked. "...Okay so do you ever think there's too much weird shit going on in Hawkins that goes unnoticed?" Robin asked. "...Yeah I guess. Why?" Eddie asked. "We have a lot of answers. Things we witnessed and we need you to promise us that what we say to you doesn't leave this group." Dustin said. "I promise." Eddie nodded.
"It all started when Will Byers went missing. Some sort of door to a parallel universe opened and we saw everything. The Upside-Down. It's like Hawkins but everything's dark, abandoned and the air itself is poison after long periods of time." Steve explained.
You guys must've taken at least an hour to explain everything to him. By the end, Eddie stared at the group as if they were other worldly. "So Holland wasn't a freak accident." Eddie said. "Right." Steve nodded. "Will was possessed by an interdimensional creature" "yes." "And you all have a mutual friend who can move things with her mind and open gates to this other universe called the Upside-Down?" Eddie asked. "Yes." Robin nodded. "And the mall fire wasn't an actual mall fire but was actually a combination of the Mindflayer and Russians who were trying to open the gate?" Eddie finished. "Yes." You nodded.
"....You guys realize you sound insane, right?" Eddie asked. Everyone groaned. "What can we do to make you believe this is real?" Dustin asked. "I don't know, battle scars or something. You guys are telling me you fought interdimensional monsters and walked away unscathed? No, you have to have some sort of scar or-" you shoved off his jacket and took off your t-shirt. "WOAH!" Steve and Dustin jumped back, Eddie's jaw dropping as you turned your back to him.
You had a large scratch mark on your back. No dog could do that. Nothing human could do what he was seeing. "I saved Jonathan Byers' life when he almost got killed by a Demogorgon." You said before putting your shirt back on.
Eddie swallowed, staring at you. "Was that enough proof or do we all have to strip?" You asked. "...That was... enough proof." Eddie said slowly. He just saw you partially naked. His brain was fried and Robin had had her fair share of this reaction to know what this was.
Eddie liked you. You sighed. "Look, it sounds crazy. It is. But it's real and it's dangerous and now something else may be out there." You said. "What came from the Upside-Down then?" Eddie asked. "That's the problem. We don't know." Steve admitted. "How did the gate open again if it was closed? I thought your friend was the only one that could do that." Eddie asked. "Yet another thing we don't know." Robin added. "Which means there's got to be someone else like Eleven." You realized. "...Wait you don't seriously think-" "I do. I mean, El is in California, there's no fucking way she did this. Which means someone else can do this." You said.
Everyone tensed up. "This is bad." Dustin said. "We should contact El, we need to know if this is even possible." Robin suggested. "We need to let Lucas and Max know what's going on" Dustin added. "We need a place to recoup." Eddie said. "Agreed." Steve said. "What about our house?" You suggested. "Yes! Good idea. Our house." Dustin agreed. "But what about your mom?" Robin asked. "Believe me, she will not give two shits." You said, starting to walk back to the van. "Why's that?" Eddie asked. "Because she's not there, she's at our aunt's condo in Colorado. She's getting us another cat." You said. "Whatcha naming this one?" Eddie asked. "Aragorn if it's a boy, Éowyn if it'sa girl." You answered making Eddie grin.
You all walked into your house, you taking off your backpack and setting it by the door. "Make yourselves at home, I'm taking a shower while Dustin contacts Max and Lucas." You sighed, walking into your room. You grabbed clothes, walking into the bathroom and locking the door. You finally could see yourself in the mirror.
You let that exhaustion hit you, realizing you had spent just about 18 years of your life with your bestfriend. And now you had to navigate the world without her.
Eddie walked around, hearing the shower start. He noticed a room with a cracked door, him lightly pushing it open to be met with a room that was obviously yours.
You had a closet and next to it was a stand up mirrror. You had pictures of you and the cheer squad all over the place. All of them looked posed except for the ones of you and Chrissy. But Eddie's favorite picture by far was the one of you playing guitar. You didn't seem to be aware the picture was being taken, seeing as you weren't looking at the camera. Your hair was pulled back and you were sitting across from an older man who was also playing guitar.
"Can I help you?" You asked making Eddie jump. "Got distracted waiting on Dustin, sorry" he apologized. "It's okay, I don't mind." You shrugged, sitting on your bed. Eddie looked around. "This room is cool." He said. "Thanks. Feels like it took forever to make it my own." You admitted. "I like it. It just... fits you." He said making you smile slightly. "Who is the guy in that picture by the way?" Eddie asked. "My grandpa. He's the one that got me the guitar." You shrugged.
"Cool." Eddie nodded, noticing the shelf of vinyl. "You have vinyl?" Eddie asked. "Yeah, of course." You said. He walked over, flipping through the records. "Def Leppard, Black Sabbath- my god you just get better and better." He said making you smile again. "You're not so bad yourself Munson." You said, looking up at him with your legs crossed on your bed. Eddie smiled back at you, taking note of your newly exhausted look.
"Hey... Are you okay? I mean, you've been through a lot today." Eddie asked, sitting next to you. "I want to say I'm okay. Truth is I'm terrified. Chrissy was the only normal thing I had when we first discovered the Upside-Down. Now... I have nothing. I'm alone and that thought it terrifying" you explained. "You're not alone Y/n." Eddie said. "I mean, I have Dustin, Robin and Steve but-" "You have me." He said softly. You stared at him for a moment. "...I have you." You said softly. "You'll always have me." He assured.
You wanted to believe that. But you let your doubts slip from your mouth. "You don't know that." You whispered. "I do." He assured. "What if something happens to you like it did Chrissy what if I lose-" he cradled your face looking into your eyes. "You won't lose me Y/n."
Your room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Eddie didn't move and neither did you. Eddie parted his lips, staring into your eyes. You swallowed hard, staring at him as his hands slowly slipped down to yours. "Eddie will... will you just lay with me?" You asked. Eddie nodded, leaning back with you.
"The best we can do is meeting up with everyone tomorrow, I can't get ahold of them." Dustin sighed. Robin sighed, getting up and walking to the bathroom when she noticed your cracked door.
She nearly ignored it but noticed Eddie's jacket on the floor and peaked in, seeing Eddie sound asleep with your head on his chest. "What are you looking a-" "shh." Robin hushed. She nodded to you and Eddie and Steve blinked. He quietly closed the door and Dustin looked over. "What's with the two of you?" Dustin asked.
"How close would you say Y/n and Eddie are?" Steve asked. "They just met each other yesterday, why?" Dustin asked. "Because they're sleeping on each other as we speak." Steve said. Dustin blinked. "What?" He asked. "Eddie and Y/n are asleep in her room, together. On each other, like cuddling." Steve clarified. "Holy crap." Dustin gaped. "I think it's cute." Robin said. "She- woah." Dustin seemed to think this was odd behavior. "What's with you?" Steve asked. "Y/n's never had a crush before." Dustin admitted.
"Pft. She's a teenage girl, she totally has-" "No, she literally said the aspect of romance bored her to death, she never took to dating. At all." Dustin said. "Ever think that had to do with who she was hanging around?" Robin said. "Who? Chrissy?" Steve asked. "No, the athletes in general. We know better than to think she'd actually want to date any of them. They're all she knows in that school." Robin said. "Well, until now." Steve said. "I think this is good" Dustin said. "You do?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, it means someone is going to be able to support her through... Y'know. Losing Chrissy." Dustin said. Everyone seemed to nearly forget that major change in the day. Everything was supposed to be normal and then... Chrissy was just gone.
"Looks like we're sleeping here." Steve said. "Dibs on the couch." Robin said making Steve groan.
It was nearly midnight when you felt a sharp pain in your eye that began to throb. You had been through this enough to know it was the start of a migraine. You got up, careful as to not wake Eddie as you stepped into the bathroom. You opened the cabinet, hearing a soft tap against the sink. You closed the cabinet, the mirror on its door showing you that your nose was bleeding. It had been a common occurrence since the season had been bouncing frantically between hot and cold.
You cleaned yourself up, patting away the blood. "You killed her." A voice said. You turned around quickly to see Dustin in the doorway. "If you just stayed with her instead of hanging around Eddie she'd still be here" Dustin said. You opened your mouth before hearing something.
You heard a clock.
With its loud chime, Dustin was gone and you were standing by yourself in the bathroom. You swallowed hard, walking back to your room. You laid back down, Eddie instinctively pulling you back to him. You held onto him, feeling slightly reassured by that piece of reality.
Your eyes got heavy once again before you heard a noise as you closed your eyes.
You could swear that just for a moment...
You heard ticking.

Flipping the Vinyl PT 1 (Eddie x Henderson!Reader)
Warnings: mentions of weed, other drugs, angst, mentions of eating disorders, death
Tumblr media
"Hold your god damn horses Dustin, I am coming!" You yelled, walking out of your room. "What the hell is taking so long?" Mike asked. "Looking for the-" you picked up the pom pom. "Found it!" You said, relieved as you walked out of the house. Mike and Dustin rolled their eyes. "I need them for the pep rally-why am I even explaining this to you, get in the car." You huffed.
It wasn't a well known fact that you were Dustin's older sister. It seemed most people just thought you were neighbors or something. Dustin and you were opposites on the surface. He was a nerd who hung out with other nerds. You were a cheerleader who hung out with other cheerleaders and the basketball team.
You however, had a very similar personality to Dustin. You had a tendency to hide this fact though. You were a nerd, a giant one at that who actually enjoyed playing D&D and loved Dustin's friends. However, it seemed Chrissy, your bestfriend had other plans. She hated the idea of you getting bullied and pulled you into the cheerleader scene. You didn't mind it. As long as Jason left you alone. You absolutely hated that guy.
Why Chrissy was dating him was a god damn mystery to you. He was a jerk, always mouthing off at the wrong time. He was also annoyingly hypocritical, always talking about how Dustin's friend group was a bunch of devil worshipers who lived in sin, meanwhile you had caught Jason doing literal cocain in a rest stop bathroom during an away game. The boy was an ass and you prayed for that day for him to have a fall from grace and become some sort of social outcast so that you wouldn't have to see him again.
You walked over to Chrissy's locker, her seeming slightly off. She was just standing there, staring into it. "Chris, you good?" You asked, her jumping. "Oh... Hi, Y/n" she greeted. "What's up?" You asked. "...Later... I uh... I don't want anyone else to hear." She said. You nodded, the bell ringing. "Come on, first period." You ushered.
You walked into the science classroom, sitting at the table. "So what's going on?" You asked quietly as students shuffled in. "...Do..." she shifted uncomfortably on her stool. "Do you ever feel like you're losing your mind?" She asked. You blinked. "...Uh.." you wanted to give off a quippy response but that didn't seem wise. "Sometimes, yeah." You nodded. "...I just... I keep... seeing things." She admitted. You rose a brow. "Like what?" You asked.
"Like... A clock... and... mom.... and... I hear this voice"
"christ, there's voices now?" You thought to yourself.
"It calls my name and... I don't know I feel... I feel like I'm going insane." She admitted.
"Have you told anyone else?" You asked, the teacher writing things on the board. "Just the councilor..." she muttered.
You looked at her slightly concerned. "I just... I don't want to feel... anxious... anymore." She mumbled. "I uh... I know you don't really do it but... have you considered... weed?" You asked. Chrissy looked over at you slightly surprised.
"I'm not joking-" "No no- I never said you were." You halted. She rose a brow. "You... you really think..." she leaned over closer "weed is the answer?" She asked. "I mean... It'll take the edge off. Might help with everything." You said. "... and you know this how?" She asked. "We hang out with athletes, you really think they don't know how to get drugs?" You asked sarcastically. "... Can you find someone to... get..." "Yeah, I know a guy. Do you want me to go?" You asked. "Yeah." She nodded. "Okay."
The day dragged on, eventually the pep rally arriving. Dustin sat on the bleachers next to Eddie as you walked over. "Hey, do you have my scrunchie, the other broke?" You asked. Dustin rifled through his bag, Eddie raising a brow. "Is this Suzie?" Eddie asked. Dustin and you both gagged. "Dude no- fuck no!" You said. "That's my sister!" Dustin said. "Ah! You have a sister?" He asked. "Yes I have sister-" "I'm Eddie" Eddie introduced.
"Y/n- hey you're friends with Rick right?" You asked. "...Yes I am, why?" Eddie asked. "I can't seem to get ahold of him-" "He got busted." Eddie said. "Fuck" you sighed. "But I took over. Meet me after the pep rally. Picnic table in the woods behind the school. " Eddie said. "Cool, thank you." You said before pulling your hair back and rushing back down to the other cheerleaders.
Eddie took a moment to really register the information he just found out. Not only did Henderson have an older sister who smoked, he had an older sister who was a fucking cheerleader. Eddie stared as you laughed at something someone whispered to you.
Finally one of the teachers motioned for you all to go and you stood next to Chrissy as you chanted a few cheers. Eddie was impressed by your flexibility as he watched you do a round off, landing with a smile on your face. The basketball team soon ran out, the cheerleaders all sitting on the bleachers.
You could feel someone staring at you and you slowly turned around to see Eddie. You gave a small wave, him nodding to you. You turned back to Jason who was speaking about something but rolled your eyes, leaning over to Chrissy. "I meet with the guy after this, are you sure you're not coming with?" You asked. "...I'm sure." She nodded. "Okay. I'll give it to you at the game, okay?" You asked. "Okay" she nodded. You were curious to know if Jason knew anything about all of this. After all, this was his girlfriend.
Then again, you always noticed this odd gap of communication between Jason and Chrissy. Chrissy tried to tell him things but he usually brushed it off. His reaction to Chrissy's depression was already less than stellar, she outright refused to tell him about her eating disorder. This further confused you on why she was dating him in the first place.
The pep rally finally came to an end, you slipping off and walking out before anyone could really take notice. You walked out into the woods and found the picnic table but Eddie wasn't present. You hated this feeling. This constant sense of danger that came from multiple years in Hawkins.
Many many people were blissfully unaware of the real dangers that stupid lab left behind. You, unfortunately were not one of them. You knew everything, down to the Russians that were in the mall last year. In fact, you were there when your brother had to sing to his girlfriend to get her to save the world. Sounds stupid in retrospect. It was.
You heard a snap and you jump, turning right smack into Eddie. "Geez, you walk quieter than Mews!" You gasped. He blinked. "...The fuck is a 'Mews'?" Eddie asked, sitting at the picnic table. "My departed cat." You sighed sitting down. "Oh. Sorry for your loss." He apologized. "It's fine, we got a new one named Arwen." You said. He blinked. "Dustin name it?" He asked. "No, I did." You said. He looked at you. "And you named it after-" "Lord of the Rings, yes." You nodded. He looked downright shocked by your honesty. "You.... holy shit- you're a nerd!" He realized.
You gasped dramatically. "Shhh not so loud! The douchebags might hear you!" You teased, him chuckling. "You" he began. "Are certainly not what I expected." He said. "What were you expecting?" You asked. He looked at you with a small smile. "Someone completely bitchy. Y'know?" He asked. You nodded. "Lot of them are. Chrissy isn't, she's the only reason I'm with the uniforms." You admitted. "Cunningham eh? Bestfriend?" He asked. "In the whole world. She's the reason I'm here actually." You admitted.
Eddie rose a brow. "You're getting this, for her?" He asked. "Yeah." You nodded. "...No fucking way. She smokes?" He asked. "Not... exactly." You admitted. "What the hell made her want to try it then?" He asked. "...It's not really my place to say anything." You admitted. He nodded, leaning back back slightly. "Alright. Alright Henderson, you're lucky. Flattery works on me. 15 for this." He said, opening the lunchbox to show the baggy. "Man, I feel like I'm robbing you." You said making him chuckle. "As long as you're aware." He said making you smile.
That smile. It was something that practically shined when it was a natural smile. Your eyes lit up and that small giggle. God that giggle. Eddie's heart pounded in his ears. "So-so. Do you smoke?" He asked. "Yeah, occasionally. More like socially though." You said, pulling out your wallet. "Well you knew Rick so I figured you had to enjoy something in his stock, y'know?" He said. "Yeah, I had to be the one to buy things for Jason. Didn't want to ruin his 'holier than thou' image." You said handing him the cash. "Ah. Makes sense. Well, if you ever feel like smoking... socially... I can uh... give you my number." He said. You rose a brow but nodded.
"Or I could meet you after the game. Chrissy made it clear she wanted to smoke by herself." You said. That was a very true statement. When you tried to insist that you should at least supervise her, she absolutely refused. She went on about how the voices would absolutely get worse if someone was there. This was strictly for sleep and sleep alone. "Alright then. After the game." Eddie nodded.
You picked up your bag and got up. "Well Munson. It was a pleasure." You said with a smile. "Have fun at this... game thing." He said. "Have fun with the campaign." You said walking off. Eddie smiled to himself as he watched you walk away.
You walked back to the parking lot, seeing Jason talking to a basketball player. "Hey, where's Chrissy?" You asked. "In the gym" he yawned. "Is she okay?" You asked. "Yeah-dude tonight is going to be awesome." Jason said making you roll your eyes as you walked back into the gym. She wasn't there, so you went to the locker room. "Chris? You in here?" You asked, the sound of someone moving back echoing. There was still no response.
"God, you scared me!" You gasped as you turned the corner seeing Chrissy at her locker. She didn't respond and you rose a brow. "Chris?" You called. Still nothing. "Chrissy?" You put your hand on her shoulder and she jumped moving away from you. Almost like she was afraid. "Woah! Chrissy, it's me!" You gasped. She panted and sat on the bench. "Chrissy, what happened? Are you okay?" You asked concerned. "I-I could... I heard a clock... and-and mom." She whimpered. You hugged her, Chrissy sobbing into your chest.
Once she had calmed down, you helped clean up her face. "There. Now it just looks like allergies." You said confidently. "Thanks" she sniffled. "I uh.. I got the weed by the way. Are you sure you don't want me there?" You asked. "I'm sure... I'm sure." She nodded. You handed her the baggie and she hesitated before taking it and putting it in her backpack. "Sorry I made you go to that guy" she said. "He's not so bad." You shrugged. "Really?" She asked. "Munson's kind of cute actually." You muttered. She turned with a small smile.
"No way" she said. "What?" You asked. "You have a crush!" She realized. "Wha- I do not! I barely know the guy outside of Dustin talking about him!" You said. "If you don't, why are you defensive?" She asked. Your silence was enough of an answer to make her practically skip out the locker room and you sighed.
A few hours later and there you were cheering with the team and watching the game. You waved to Steve who gave a small wave back. You liked Steve. He was like a brother to you and Dustin both. Course he always treated you like an equal which was nice. You noticed Lucas on the bench and rose a brow. You knew there was a campaign tonight. So why was he here? Especially since he had been riding the bench for nearly the entire damn season.
You finally took a break, sitting next to Chrissy as you tied your shoes. "Having fun yet?" You asked. "I'm not sure we'll win this one." She said. "I dunno, Jason's playing alright out there." You said. She looked at you. "This is me trying to be supportive." You said making her smile slightly.
You rose a brow as you watched Lucas get pulled into the game. "No fucking way" you mumbled, watching him. "What?" Chrissy asked. "Lucas Sinclair is out there." You muttered. Lucas seemed nervous, looking around him before he saw you. He gave a small wave and you waved back, giving him a small thumbs up.
You actually found yourself impressed by Lucas as he moved across the court. Finally the end approached, only seconds left on the clock to score that last point. You watched Jason pass the ball, Lucas throwing it. You stood up, watching in awe as the ball soared through the air and landed into the hoop.
Cheers errupted throughout the gym, Lucas being praised for a job well done. You found yourself clapping for him as Chrissy gave you a small pat to let you know she was leaving. You hugged her, Chrissy slipping out of the chaos.
You waited a few minutes for the park to clear out, finally walking out into the cold air. You walked for a bit before a van pulled alongside you. You gripped your pocket knife before realizing it was Eddie.
"Need a ride Henderson?" He asked. "Yeah." You said, him nodding for you to get in. You sat in the passenger seat, looking over at him. "So, how did the campaign go" you asked. "They kicked ass. Actually, I was impressed by the youngest Sinclair. She knew how to play." He said. You blinked. "Erica played D&D?" You asked. "Yeah." He said. "Impressive" you chuckled. He smiled.
"What about you, how was the game?" He asked. "We won. Lucas actually made the winning shot. So that was cool I guess." You shrugged. "Not one for basketball?" He asked. "Not one for sports in general" you said. Eddie nodded. "Eddie uh... Why am I here?" You asked. "Dunno, you got in the van" he shrugged. "I mean, are we smoking? Are you taking me home? Are you driving me to my death?" You asked. "I'm down to smoke if you are." He said. "Always." You said with a grin. Eddie nodded and drove, turning up the radio.
When you reached his home, you actually recognized it. "Huh." You realized. "What?" He asked. "You live across from Max." You said. "Who?" Eddie asked. "Mayfield. Billy's sister." You said. "Oh. Right. That dick." Eddie grimaced.
You rose a brow. "Not a fan of Billy?" You asked. "Well I'm not one to speak ill of the dead but... that guy was an asshole." Eddie said, unlocking the door. You walked in behind him. "Excuse the mess, the maid took the week off." Eddie joked making you chuckle. "Eh. I've seen worse." You shrugged. Eddie opened a drawer and you looked around. "Do you live alone?" You asked.
"No uh, I live with my uncle. He works at the plant." He said. You nodded. "Feel free to look around, just uh... don't look too hard" he said, rummaging through the drawers. You nodded, walking. You came across what you assumed Eddie's room was. You were met with a guitar, you staring at it.
"You play?" Eddie asked, him standing behind you. You jumped. "Uh. Used to." You said. "Don't tell me you left the life of rock n' roll to be a cheerleader, I will cry." Eddie said making you chuckle. "What can I say, pom poms spoke to me more." You said. Eddie gasped dramatically and you giggled.
God that was so cute.
Eddie smiled to himself. "So you ditched the nerds for the jocks" he said. "No, no... I just.. I'm not really sure where I fit. I hate those guys outside of Chrissy." You admitted. "So you don't like the jocks?" He asked. "God. No." You grimaced. "So, maybe." Eddie joked making you smile. "They're assholes. All of them. I mean, except Lucas. Seems he's the only one not short of a marble." You said.
"If you don't like them, why hang around them?" He asked. "I would move the earth for my best friend." You shrugged. Eddie looked over. "She's lucky to have you." Eddie said. You smiled slightly, nodding as a thanks.
Eddie opened a drawer, looking over his shoulder. "Hey, I tend to get pretty tired when I'm high, do you mind if I stay over?" You asked. "It's cool with me." He nodded. "Do you mind if I change then, I'm not exactly feeling the cheerleader uniform" you said making him smile. "Bathroom's across the hall" he told you.
You changed into your gym shorts and a t-shirt, walking into Eddie's room. He was sitting on his bed with a joint. "Green hit?" He asked. "Sure." You shrugged, sitting next to his legs. He gave you the joint, you lighting it and inhaling. You coughed, leaning back onto a pillow and handing the joint to Eddie.
"Why have we never hung out before this?" You asked. Eddie coughed, handing you the joint. "I didn't realize you were Dustin's sister.. and I had you pegged as someone completely different." Eddie said as you released smoke slowly from your mouth. You passed him the joint, him setting it on an ash tray. "Totally thought I was a bitch, didn't you" you guessed. "Something along the lines of that" Eddie chuckled. "Hopefully that opinion changed." You said. Eddie smiled at you. "Definitely." He said.
You smiled slightly, Eddie fidgeting after a bit before you rose a brow. "Can I see your rings?" You asked. He leaned forward holding out his hands. You noticed the skull based ones. There were two, one mainly being an angry looking skull while the other was a cross surrounded by skulls.
"What's with the pig?" You asked, noticing the middle ring was a pig rather than adding another skull. "Reminded me of 'War Pigs'." He shrugged. "Black Sabbath. Nice." You muttered. Eddie rose a brow. "You just keep getting better and better" he said making you grin.
You noticed his other hand. Compared to his right, his left had only one ring. "You actually got a class ring?" You asked. "If I'm suffering multiple years of highschool, I am leaving with proof that I survived it outside of a stupid yearbook photo." He said making you laugh.
You noticed the black stone in the center making you raise a brow. Without thinking, you pulled his hand forward staring at the stone. "Is that obsidian?" You asked curiously. "Yep" Eddie said. "Is that your birth stone?" You asked. "Yeah, why?" He asked. "When's your birthday?" you asked. "October 29th." He answered. You looked up, realizing you were holding his hand.
Silence fell over the two of you, him looking into your eyes. "You gonna let go?" He asked, his voice quiet. "Do you want me to?" You asked, without thinking. Eddie stayed quiet, his eyes moving to your lips. You swallowed hard before clearing your throat and dropping his hand.
"Sorry, my throat is like, super dry." You said. Eddie nodded. "I'll uh.. I'll get us some water." He said getting up. He left his room, walking into the kitchen when the phone rang. He picked up. "Hello?" Eddie asked. "Hey, this is a weird question but you saw my sister earlier, do you know where she is?" Dustin asked. "Funny you should ask that Henderson, she's with me." Eddie said. "Really? Okay, great. Mom started freaking out when she didn't come home." Dustin said relieved. "Yeah, she's staying here." Eddie said. "... You two are hanging out?" Dustin asked. "Yeah." Eddie nodded. "Is Chrissy with her?" Dustin asked. "No, why?" He asked. "...Nothing I just.. Huh. I don't think Y/n has ever spent a day away from Chrissy." Dustin admitted. "Is there anything else you needed Henderson?" Eddie asked. "Nope, I'll uh... I'll just tell mom she's with Max." Dustin said before hanging up.
Eddie walked into his room to see you sleeping. He smiled slightly, setting the water bottles down and pulling a blanket over you. He grabbed a free pillow, flipping off the light before hearing you. "Don't leave me"
Your voice was small, quiet when you spoke. Eddie looked at the couch from the doorway before walking back into his room, laying next to you. He didn't move, he was careful to try to not wake you.
Your morning was odd, waking up next to Eddie was a confusing start. When did you even fall asleep. You leaned up, careful as to not wake Eddie as you slipped out of bed and walked into the kitchen, dialing Chrissy's number.
The line seemed to be busy, you calling the house phone to be sure. There was no answer, instead, another busy line. You rose a brow, hanging up. There was a gut feeling, something telling you that this was wrong. Maybe it was the past few years having nothing but terrible events happen, maybe it was the paranoia sinking in from everything that she told you.
"Everything okay?" You heard Eddie ask. "...Can you do me a favor?" You asked. Eddie nodded. "Take me to Chrissy." You said. He hesitated but nodded, walking back into his room. When he reemerged, he had his jacket and your backpack in hand.
He tried to make conversation but you were distracted, noticing an abundance of cop cars riding through town. That was never a good sign.
Dustin had made numerous attempts to call Eddie's but it seemed to fail. Finally, he had the realization that Max lived next door, him calling her. That's when he got the answer that you and Eddie had left moments before he got the news himself.
You directed Eddie, Steve driving a fast as he could to beat you to Chrissy's.
Eddie had to park across the street due to the crimescene tape and the many, many, MANY police cars that surrounded the area. Steve and Dustin sprinted over, blocking you from approaching. "Y/n, slow down." Steve halted. "The fuck happened here?" Eddie asked. "Y/n... It's Chrissy, something happened." Dustin said. "Dustin, what's going on, where's Chrissy? Is she okay?" You asked. "Her parents tried to call this morning, she-" "Dustin, is she okay?" You asked.
Air left your lungs as you saw a body bag being wheeled out of the house, "no" you whimpered, Eddie silently gaping at the sight. "CHRIS!" you screamed, trying to push past Steve but failing. You collapsed to your knees, Eddie pulling you into a hug as you screamed.
If you had just stayed. If you had just insisted that you stay with her, maybe she'd still be here.
Dustin stared at the house as he saw Chrissy's parents sobbing in the front yard.
There was more to this, he could feel it. He knew too much about Hawkins to think this was something else. This was too odd to not be something else. The question though, remained.
What the hell did this?

Healing Hands (Steve x reader)
Warnings: wounds, making out, sexual implications
Tumblr media
You sat in the Byers' bathroom, cleaning up a gash from when those stupid demodogs tried to attack on the bus. You ended up falling and cutting your arm when you hit the ground on a piece of metal plating. You thanked your lucky stars that you had had your tetanus shots. Steve's jacket rested on the counter, after he gave it to you from when you were cold in the woods.
You winced, Steve walking by the door and noticed you. "Need some help?" Steve asked. "Please." you nodded. He walked in, picking up the antiseptic off the bathroom counter. There was a new tension in the air. See, Steve, at one point in the night, decided to offer himself up as bait, leaving you terrified that he might die. In a moment of thinking he might not make it, you kissed him. The two of you hadn't talked about it, however the air between the two of you was left with this odd feeling.
You winced as Steve began to clean the wound. "mother of god that HURTS!" You winced. "Uhhhh. Let's try to distract you, uhm-" "Ow" You whined. "I noticed a lot of science books in your room earlier, do you like science?" Steve asked. "Ye-yeah. I love- ow- astronomy." You muttered. "That's space, right?" Steve asked. "y-yeah." You nodded. "Nice nice." Steve nodded.
"Ow- Steve- Jesus that hurts!" You breathed. "Know any foreign languages?" He asked, hoping to distract you. "Just Latin and French-"you said, hissing through your teeth. "Still impressive, I don't speak either." Steve shrugged. "Steve I swear-" "Speak French." He said, still making attempts to distract you as he cleaned up the dirt. "vou le vou coucher avec moi." You said. "Neat, what did that mean?" Steve asked.
"Will you take me to bed with you." You answered making Steve laugh. You smiled at him, him focused on your wound as he applied the last bit of antiseptic. "We uhm- ow. We never discussed that thing on the bus." You said. He looked up. "No. We didn't." He agreed. "Did... did it uhm... upset you?" You asked. He put the cotton ball down. "No. It did not." Steve said. He heard that tone. He knew that tone well enough to know that, it meant you were feeling insecure. There was no way he was letting you get in your own head. "Cool-" he kissed you this time, you gripping the counter. His hands went to your back pockets, him pulling you closer as he shut the bathroom door. "Steve- what if something happens-" "one of the kids will get us" Steve assured before he kissed you again.
There it was, that electric feeling. Your body felt like it was being powered by the most powerful battery as he kissed your neck, lifting you onto the sink counter. "What happened to being a good babysitter?" You teased, out of breath. "That went out the window when you kissed me on that bus." He whispered in your ear before kissing you. Your hands flew to his cheeks, as the kisses intensified.
His lips moved to your neck, your eyes closing as your hand ran through his hair. "Steven" you breathed. He chuckled. "I never thought I'd be so into someone saying my whole name until this moment." Steve said. You smiled, wrapping your legs around his waist. You could feel him. And the little friend he seemed to develop. "Someone is happy to see me." You whispered. "I am a man, Y/n. And as you said, men are very simple creatures." He said making you grin. He kissed your neck again, sucking at that sweet spot to hear that noise again. "Steven" you moaned, him smiling as he heard it.
He pulled away, looking in your eyes. "What?" You asked. He moved strands of hair out of your face. "I know that we haven't discussed what this means. And I also know that you might-" "Steve, if it's not crystal clear that I like you by now, I don't know what to tell you." You laughed. He smiled. "Y/n, when all this shit is done, can I take you on a date?" He asked. You smiled. "Thought you'd never ask Harrington." You said softly. He smiled, kissing you again with his hands on your waist. "Now, we should get back out there." Steve said.
"But-" he looked at you, lifting your chin with his fingers. "I don't want our first time to be in a bathroom where you're trying to be quiet. I want to hear you say my name, baby." He said. Your face must've been bright red. "Steve-" a knock landed on the door and you both turned. "When you two are done fucking, I need help." Dustin said. "We're not fucking, Dustin." You sighed. "Yes, because most teenagers lock the bathroom door when they're dressing wounds." He said sarcastically. "We will be out in a minute, Henderson." Steve said. "Fine" he sighed.
You turned back to him. "See, that is also why we're not fucking in here." Steve said making you chuckle. "So this... the whole, making out thing is going to be a regular thing?" You asked. "God, I fucking hope so." He said making you chuckle. You kissed him again. You picked up the bandage and he took it, wrapping your arm. "Now, I'm warning you. I'm a jacket thief. You might not get that back." You warned, nodding to the jacket. He smiled. "You look cute in it anyway." He said. You decided to have a little fun. "Wait for the day where I only wear the jacket." You said, pulling the jacket back on. Steve's face turned pink at the thought, you giggling as you walked out.

Trust (Steve x Reader)
Tumblr media
The sound of the toilet flushing filled the room as you leaned against the bathroom stall, Robin next to you in a separate stall, along with Steve in his own as the poor bastard threw up yet again. The worst part of this evening was not the part where strange men screamed at you in a language you barely understood. It wasn't even the drugs they gave the three of you. It was the fact that through all of this, you were still in that stupid ass sailor outfit.
"Tell me, why didn't we just settle for a normal summer? Maybe go to some parties, deal with a standard hangover and not the aftermath of whatever drugs Russian spies gave us." You said. "I think I'd rather be here than at some party." Robin said, you chuckled. "You hate social interaction that much?" Steve asked. "Yes. Well, and I actually think this might be the best summer I've ever had." Robin said.
"Robin, did you just admit that you liked hanging out with us?" Steve asked. "Maybe I did, dingus." Robin said. "You are so totally high." You snorted. "I am not!" Robin said, nudging you with her foot underneath the stall making you laugh. Steve smiled to himself as he head that giggle of yours.
"I think I'm coming down from it." Steve said after you recovered from your laughing fit. Robin slid into your stall, sitting next to you. "I'm good." Robin said. "I don't believe that." you said. "Oh yeah? Ask me something. Interrogate me." Robin said, mimicking a Russian accent. "When's the last time you pissed yourself?" You asked immediately making her laugh to a point where her face was turning red. You could hear Steve laughing with her.
"I tell you to ask me a question, and that's your first?" Robin wheezed. "You never answered, Buckley" Steve laughed. "Today" Robin said. "What? When?" You asked, wiping your eyes from laughing to the point of tears. "When the doctor pulled out the bone saw. I peed." She said making you and Steve laugh again. She laughed with you. "It was just a little bit" She added, making a small gesture with her fingers.
You giggled, Steve smiling to himself. He loved hearing your laugh. Honestly, the best part of his summer was meeting you. He had gotten the job at Scoops Ahoy and there was obvious chemistry between the two of you.
"Alright, alright. Someone ask a serious question." Robin said. "hmm" You pondered. "First kiss?" You asked. "Robert Lambert. 0/10. Would never recommend." Robin said, making you snort. "Yeah, I bet. He was my first kiss too." You said making her laugh. "What about you Dingus?" Robin asked. "Taylor Bennington." Steve said. "Wow, Taylor? Really?" You asked. "It was a dare." Steve shrugged.
"Okay, okay, my turn." Robin said, you chuckling. "First love?" Robin asked. "Oh, Nancy Wheeler." Steve said. "Wheeler?" You breathed out, your voice lowering slightly. Robin noticed that change. That slightly pained expression. You had that thought, haunting your mind. "How do I compete with that?" Robin felt guilty as she realized how you felt about Steve. She should've known.
"Yeah, why?" Steve asked. "No reason it's just.." Robin rose brow, curious to know if you'd say something. "She's such a priss." You coughed out, looking at the ground. "Yeah, turns out, not really." Steve shrugged. "Are you... Still in love with Nancy?" You asked. "No." Steve answered rather quickly than what Robin would've expected. "Why not?" Robin found herself asking. "I think it's because I found someone a little better for me." He said. Robin rose a brow, looking over at you.
You had a confused expression on your face. "Who?" You asked. "It's crazy really." Steve said, almost as if he were ignoring the question at hand. "Ever since Dustin got home, he's been saying, you know 'you gotta find your Suzie.'" He rambled. "Wait, who's Suzie?" Robin asked. "It's some girl from camp, I guess it's his girlfriend. To be honest with you, I'm not 100% she's real... But that's not really the point. That doesn't matter." Steve said. You opened your mouth to repeat the question but Steve kept talking.
"The point is, this girl; y'know, the one that I like.. It's somebody I didn't even talk to in school. And I don't even know why." He said. You and Robin exchanged a look, you being confused. Was this little monologue about Robin?
To Robin though, it was obvious. After all, how could Steve not like that. That smile, that laugh. Your thoughtfulness. Your wittiness. How could he not fall in love with that? After all... Robin did.
"Maybe 'cause Tommy H. would've made fun of me or I wouldn't be prom king. It's stupid. I mean, Dustin's right, it's all just a bunch of bullshit anyways. " Steve kept talking, despite your silent confusion. "Because, when I think about it, I should've been hanging out with this girl the whole time. First of all, she's hilarious. She's so funny, I feel like this summer, I have laughed harder than I have laughed in a really long time. And she's smart. Way smarter than me. Y'know, she can uh... She can crack Russian codes and then conversate about philosophy and Quantum Theory like it's normal to know those kinds of things. And you know? She's honestly unlike anyone I've ever even met before." He spoke.
Realization hit you as soon as he mentioned quantum theory. You were shocked, sitting there with your lips parted. Robin rested her chin on her knees, looking at you quietly. "Y/n?" Steve gently tapped the stall wall. "Y/n, did you just OD in there?" He asked. "n-no. Still alive Harrington." You breathed.
You all sat in silence before Steve slid underneath the stall, sitting across from you and Robin. "The floor's disgusting." Robin said, you still reeling from the shock. "Yeah, well, I have a bunch of blood and puke on my shirt so..." Steve said making you chuckle. He looked at you, strands of your ponytail coming loose.
"What do you think?" Steve asked, his voice soft. "about?" You asked quietly. "This girl?" he said. "She sounds like a pain in the ass." You said making both of them chuckle. "She's awesome. But... what about the guy?" Steve asked. You looked at him, various memories from the summer flooding your thoughts.
"I think he's on drugs and not thinking straight." You said. "Really? Cause, I think he's thinking a lot more clearer than usual. " Steve said. Your mind wasn't accepting this. "He's not." You halted. Robin looked at you slightly shocked. She could tell you liked him. So what in the hell were you doing?
"he doesn't really know this girl. And if he knew her. Like, really knew her... She'd drive him away." You said. "No. That's not true. No way that is true." Steve said, leaning up. "Steve I-" Your voice broke. "There is no way I live up to what you paint me as. I'm not a genius. I-I'm not this, awesome badass. I'm just me. I'm not... Nancy... I can't... I-I'm not..." Robin leaned off her legs looking at you.
"You're right. You're not Nancy." Robin said. "Which is why I like you." Steve said. You looked at both of them. "Do you remember what I said about Click's class? About me being jealous and like, obsessed?" Robin asked. Both you and Steve nodded, confused on what this had to do with the topic at hand.
"It isn't because I had a crush on Steve. It's because she wouldn't stop staring at him." Robin said. Immediately you caught on, your eyes widening. "Mrs. Click?" Steve asked. Robin let out a nervous chuckle. "Tammy Thompson. I wanted her to look at me. But, she couldn't pull her eyes away from Steve and his stupid hair. And I didn't understand, because he would get bagel crumbs all over the floor. And he asked dumb questions. And you know what, Harrington, you were a douchebag." Robin explained. Steve looked confused but you understood what she was saying. "And Steve didn't even like her! and I would go home and just scream into my pillow." Robin breathed.
"But Tammy Thompson's a girl." Steve said. You weren't looking away from Robin's eyes. She looked like she was on the brink of tears. "And over the summer... I had to watch the same thing happen again." She said. Steve finally understood it.
He wasn't the only one with the crush on you. Robin liked you too. "You're right, Y/n. You're not Nancy Wheeler. Because to both of us, you're so much better." She said, a tear falling down her cheek. You let out a small laugh, crying also. "So here's what's going to happen. Steve, when all of this is over, is going to take you out on a the best fucking date imaginable. And I will become that crazed girl you guys knew for one summer." Robin said.
You looked at Steve, him smiling slightly at you. You put your hand on his knee, looking at him. "There's just one problem Robin." You said. "What?" She asked. "I want you in my life too. I need a best friend who keeps this dork in line." you said. She smiled and you pulled both of them into a hug. "I love you guys." You said. "We love you." Robin said. You wiped your eyes as you pulled away.
Steve smiled at Robin and she nudged him with a smile, nodding to you. He looked at you. "So what do you think? About a date?" Steve asked. "I'm there." You said with a smile. You all let out small chuckles, Steve's hand holding yours.
Steve looked at Robin. She was nervously fidgeting with her hair. "Steve? You OD over there?" Robin asked. "No, I was uh... Just thinking." Steve said. "About?" Robin asked, the nervousness creeping into her tone. "Tammy Thompson. I mean, she's nice and all, but I mean, she's a total dud." He declared. You blinked. "She is not." Robin said defensively. "Yes, she is! She wants to be like a singer! She wants to move to like, Nashville and shit!" He argued. "She has dreams" Robin defended. "She can't even hold a tune!" Steve said. Robin opened her mouth. "I mean... He's not wrong." You agreed.
"See!? She's practically tone deaf. Have you heard her?" Steve asked, Robin and you smiling. "All the time." Robin nodded. Steve started singing in a shitty voice "You see me now tonight" "Shut up" Robin laughed. "You see me now-" "She does not sound like that" Robin laughed. "She sounds exactly- That's a great impersonation of her." Steve said making you giggle. "You sound like a muppet!" You laughed. "She sounds like a muppet! She sounds like a muppet giving birth!" Steve said making you and Robin laugh harder.
Steve then mimicked Kermit "And if you could hold me tight" The three of you all started singing in the goofy voice. "We'll be holding on forever" You all laughed, the door to the bathroom slinging open to Erica and Dustin.
"Okay, what the hell!?" Dustin asked. You all stared at the kid before laughing harder, Steve sliding further onto the ground making you wheeze.
As Dustin warned you three to move your asses, you all moved to the sinks, washing out your mouths. Robin patted you on the back as she left to the small hall that separated the bathrooms. You washed your hands looking over at Steve. "Did you really mean what you said?" You asked. Steve looked over. "Every word." He nodded. You smiled at him slightly and he turned off the sink, facing you. "Dinner. After all of this. What do you say?" Steve asked. You nodded with a smile. "Hell yes Harrington." You said. He smiled, you chuckling.
"Kinda wish you didn't have a busted lip right now." You said. Despite that fact you mentioned, he leaned down, pulling you into a kiss. You tried to be as careful as possible, but any pain Steve might've been experiencing didn't seem to matter. He pulled away after a moment, you smiling back at him. "We should go" You whispered. He nodded, following you out.
As the two of you came out of the bathroom, you fell to the back of the group. There was one thing Dustin noticed though.
Steve was holding your hand.

Would i maybe be able to request an eddie x reader where the reader is newish in town, moved into trailer park on her own and needed a new weed dealer so her new co worker robin/steve sent her to eddie. After meeting a few times they realize they have a lot in common (music, style etc.) and there's obvious sexual and romantic tension. So when the reader gets locked out of her trailer in the pouring rain she ends up at eddies and spicyness or fluff ensues
I gotchu
Cold to the Touch (Eddie x fem!reader)
Warnings: smut.
Tumblr media
You had ended up working at the video store. After your dad decided to move you guys, you had to have a reason to leave the house every day. After all, your neighborhood wasn't the greatest. Now however, you had a new problem. New town, you needed a new dealer. You had no idea who to even ask. "Hey uh... Robin. Quick question" you said. Robin looked up as she stocked the shelves. "What's up?" She asked. "Well I... I was wondering if you knew anyone... y'know who... smoked?" You asked. Robin noticed by the hesitation in your voice, you were not talking about a standard cigarette.
"Yeah, there was a dealer in town but unfortunately he got busted. There's one other guy though" she said. You perked up slightly. "Who?"
And that's how you met Eddie. Robin had to handle the arrangements to begin with, you meeting him at a random ass picnic table in the woods. You sat down, looking around you. The air was cold, fall clearly on its way as you pulled your sleeves over your hands. You felt someone's hand on your shoulder and you shrieked, falling off of the picnic table and scooching back to see a boy who seemed to bare a resemblance to Eddie Van Halen. "...Uhhh... are you Robin's friend?" He asked. You stood up, trying to pretend that that did not happen.
"Yeah, uh.. Hi, I'm Y/n" you said. He motioned for you to sit back down. "So Y/n, where ya from?" He asked. "Detroit." You said making him wince. "I've heard Detroit is shit. Is it true" he asked. "If it wasn't, pretty sure we wouldn't have moved." You said. Eddie chuckled slightly, lifting a small lunchbox. You rose a brow, leaning forward a little bit. "Is that a DIO pin?" You asked. He chuckled nodding. "You like DIO?" He asked. You nodded, him turning so you could see the back. "That's badass." You said, looking at the patch.
"I don't get many girls who like DIO." He said. "'We Rock' was one of the first songs I learned by them on guitar." You said. He blinked. "You play?" He asked. "Since I could walk" you nodded. ".....That's just badass now. And lucky for you princess, flattering works" he opened the lunchbox, moving it so you could see the weed. "This could be yours for fifteen." He said. "I think we have a deal my friend." You said. "Now, assuming you're going to smoke this, would you like my number?" He asked. "Yeah, I was just going to give you mine." You shrugged. "Even better."
That was the first time the two of you met. Once every few weeks, you'd meet with him. Eventually you got an invitation to see one of his shows, which you went to. But the band noticed it the first time. That tension. That unmistakable tension between the two of you. You and Eddie's personalities seemed to thrive off of one another. You loved being around Eddie. He was the one, not so bad thing that made you hate Hawkins a little less. He always called you that nickname though. "Princess" he'd call you. You didn't seem to mind it at all.
Everything changed though on a cold November day. You were trying to get into your trailer but unfortunately, it was locked and your dad hadn't given you a key yet. So you were standing in the rain, cold as fuck in a white shirt. None of these things equaled a fantastic time. You sighed, smacking your head onto the door and groaning when you noticed an absence of rain. You turned to see Eddie. "...So did you know we're neighbors?" He asked. You blinked. "...No fucking way, really?" You asked. He motioned to where he lived and you chuckled. "Hey, can I stay with you until the rain dies down?" You asked. "Yeah, come on." Eddie said.
You walked into his trailer, your hair wet and make up slightly smudged. Eddie walked in. "So, you want something warm to drink? Cocoa? Coffee?" He offered. "Coffee sounds nice" you breathed, taking off your jacket. Eddie turned, seeing your bra through your shirt and immediately whipped back around with his cheeks turning red. He put the coffee on, trying to ignore what he could see. "This rain is fucking ridiculous" you breathed. "Yeah" he cleared his throat. "Yeah, it is." He said. You noticed his lack of eye contact combined with a new sense of tension.
"Eddie, are you good?" You asked. "Yep" he said, still not facing you. "You're just acting weird is all. You're not looking at me." You said. "Uh... well" he sighed. "It's your shirt." He said. You rose a brow. "So?" You asked. "So, I uh... I don't want to come across as creepy or something" he admitted. "It's only weird if you make it weird." You shrugged. "It's already weird" he said. "Why is it weird? Did I do something?" You asked, moving closer. He jumped back. "No! No. You've done nothing!" He said.
"Eddie, what's going on?" You asked. "...It's weird because it's you." He finally said. "...What?" You asked. "If I look at you. While I can see that... I'm... I'm going to want to see more." He coughed out. You blinked, your jaw slightly dropping. "Oh" you realized. "Yeah. I'm a pervert, I know" he sighed. "No, I mean, I'm flattered I guess. But uh... shit Eddie if you wanted to see more, why didn't you just ask?" You asked. He blinked, finally turning to you. "What?" He asked. "I'm just saying, if you wanted to see more, you could've asked, I mean, honestly I've been attracted to you for so long you could've literally just said 'Hey, Y/n, I want to fuck you' and I'd do it." You shrugged.
He stared at you for a minute. "....That's not exactly my style but I'm glad to know that would work." Eddie said. You grinned looking at him. "Eddie, out of everyone I've met in Hawkins, you are the one that I like the most." You admitted. "I really like you Y/n. Since the day you recognized my DIO pin." He said. "I like you too Eddie" you said. He looked in your eyes before finally doing what you nearly did for him.
He kissed you. He pulled you close, you practically melting into his touch as he kissed you passionately. He cupped your cheeks, running his thumb over your lips before looking into your eyes. "Y/n, I don't want to push this but-" "I'm all yours Eddie. All yours." You whispered. He swallowed hard, feeling his jeans get tighter.
He kissed you again, this time guiding you as he held you close. You nearly fell onto him as he pulled you onto the couch, you letting out a breathy laugh.
He tugged at the soaked hem of your shirt, you pulling it off of yourself. He swallowed hard, looking at you. "Christ, you're gorgeous" he breathed. You helped him with his shirt, you eyeing his tattoos. "What?" He asked. "That's sexy, I hope you realize that." You said making him smile. He kissed you again. "Well, I certainly know now" he said. You chuckled before his lips connected to your neck, you inhaling sharply. "Eddie" you breathed. It was soft when you said it, sweeter than any music Eddie had ever heard. He moved down with each kiss, down further until he reached your waist band. He pulled your pants down, you kicking them off as he chuckled. "What?" You asked, your voice almost like a whisper. "I just uh... I never expected you to wear pink panties" he teased. You rolled your eyes, him chuckling as he took off a few of his rings. You nearly questioned what he was doing until you felt his fingers. You shivered at the touch, gripping the pillow on the couch. "Eddie" you moaned, his fingers rubbing you. He leaned forward, kissing you. You couldn't focus, your train of thought completely dying out as you felt his fingers slip inside you. You gripped his shoulder, Eddie smirking. "Someone is responsive" he teased.
You felt your cheeks grow warm but you couldn't even form words, he was moving his fingers in such a way, you thought you were going to cum right then and there. You gripped his free hand, him smiling as he watched you squirm. "Eddie- I-I" "I need words princess." He said, you getting frustrated. "I-I" you struggled to say anything. "I need you" you finally said. He pulled his hand back, pulling down your panties.
He pulled his wallet out of his back pocket, pulling a condom out. You snorted. "You just walk around with condoms?" You asked. "You mock now, but boy scouts say to 'always be prepared'" he declared. You blinked. "Are you seriously talking about the boy scouts-" you felt him suddenly, you gasping. "Oh my god" you breathed. Eddie smiled, seeing your flushed face. He put his thumb on your chin, kissing you as he thrusted. You whined into his lips. You pulled your fingers to your clit, however, Eddie soon held your hands above your head. "That's my job princess" he breathed.
Your back arched as he kept thrusting, one hand rubbing circles on your clit while the other held your wrists. You felt beads of sweat form on your skin, you were feeling everything. His hands, his cock, the air. Eddie soon released your hands, you cupping his face as he moved, pressing a kiss to his lips as he went deeper. Your eyes closed before feeling yourself tense up.
You felt Eddie cum, you both panting out of breath. You looked at him as he laid next to you. "Well. I'm certainly glad we're neighbors now" you said making him chuckle. He smiled at you, you looking over. "What?" You asked. "Nothing, I'm just happy you're here... I mean... Not to sound cliché but I wouldn't have dreamed that I'd get this lucky" he said. You smiled, kissing him before resting your head on his chest.
"I gotta ask... what's the story with your tattoos? " you asked. "Ah, okay. Which ones do you want to know about?" He asked. You lightly poked one on his chest. "So this one was my first one. Gareth has a matching one." He said. You smiled, listening to his reasons on his tattoos, your head on his chest with a smile.
For once, you found yourself legitimately happy in Hawkins. For once, you found someone new to call home.

I'm sorry if I write it so bad. thank you darling 3/>
Awww this is so cute!
Tumblr media
Eddie Munson. That cocky little shit. Hopper hated him. Not as much as maybe hating Mike but it was damn near close. Eddie was this bad boy in Hopper's eyes. He knew he was a pothead considering he had busted his friends multiple times. You however were smitten with the boy. It was kind of hilarious to so many people on how the police chief's oldest daughter was dating the local pothead.
You loved Eddie more than anything else in this world. How you two started dating was so damn cute, the boys almost didn't believe the story until they realized they witnessed most of the story play out without them realizing. You had been showing El around school, you and Mike hoping that if she just stuck with you, it'd be easier to navigate. However, the second El got the chance, she ran off with Mike's group. You weren't pissed off, it gave you plenty of time to study anways so you just went with it.
But then El started talking about this amazing older sister she had. She went on and on to this group on how amazing she was. Eddie needed to know just who you were. So he walked you and El home.
"So you're the amazing older sister I've been hearing so much about?" Eddie asked, walking next to you. "Yep" you nodded. "Not much of a talker?" He asked. "Well uh... I'm confused on why you're helping us in the first place?" You asked. "To meet you. El's been talking your ass up since she joined Hellfire" he said. "Has she?" You asked, looking over with an amused smile. "Yeah. Well, and the Max kid swears up and down that you're the second coming of Christ or something and considering that Max hates everyone, I had to see this greatness for myself" he declared. You smiled at him, and that's when it first hit him.
That smile. He wanted to see it more often. So at lunch, he asked you to sit with the club. Because you were interested in learning more about Eddie, you did. Things didn't really change until one Friday when it was raining. El was with Max, leaving you to walk home alone. You walked for a while but the storm got bad, you having to stop and wait. Luckily for you, you knew one person that lived near the area.
There you stood, shaking from the coldness of the water at Eddie Munson's doorstep. What would normally be a hard boiled response of "What do you want" was turned into concern "jesus Y/n- you were out in that!?" He asked, pulling you inside. "Well, Dad had something going on and El is with Max and my car is still in the shop so... yeah. I was in fact out in the rain." You said. "Here, take off your jacket- you like cocoa? I'll make cocoa." He said. You smiled slightly as he helped you with your jacket.
The jacket seemed to be useless considering your clothes were soaked anyway but you planned on sucking it up. However, there was a change in plans for Eddie. You sneezed, pulling back your hair. He noticed it and REFUSED to let you get sick so he ran to his room, grabbing shorts and a t-shirt. "Hey, I didn't want you to die from a cold so I brought you clothes." He said. You looked up from the couch and his heart pounded in his ears looking at that face.
"Thanks Eddie" you said with that smile. That sweet smile that he loved so much. So you changed, coming out of the bathroom in a AC/DC shirt. He stared at you, finding this to be absolutely adorable. He handed you the mug of cocoa and you sipped it, smiling slightly at its sweet flavor. "I can feel you watching me, Ed" you said. He swallowed. "Sorry- sorry." He said. You looked at him. "Why do you do that?" You asked. "What?" He asked. "You watch me, why?" You asked. "Uh... So listen uh" he scratched the back of his neck. "I might... like you. Like uhm... like you in a romantic way. But if that grosses you out then no I do not." He said. You blinked.
This had never happened before. Most people kept the Police Chief's daughter at an arms length but Eddie knew who you were but didn't seem to care. "We will pretend like this never happen-" you kissed him, him setting down his mug. It took a good moment for either of you to pull away but you did, looking in his eyes. "Was that okay?" You asked. "That was perfect." He chuckled.
So from then on, Eddie walked you and El home everyday. Hopper was not thrilled. At all. You were the one daughter that didn't date, suddenly that was changing.
Hopper sat on a bucket as Joyce put things away. "I just don't get it- she never showed an interest in boys before!" He whined. "Hop, come on." Joyce laughed. "What?" Hopper asked. "She's probably always had an interest, but Eddie might just be her first boyfriend " Joyce said. "BUT WHY!? Why Eddie?" He asked. "Well, you'd have to ask her that!" Joyce laughed. "I thought I only had to deal with El with a boyfriend, now Y/n is dating Eddie!? Seriously!?" He whined. Joyce sighed. "Will and Jonathan both say he's a nice boy." She said. "He isn't!" Hopper declared. "And why's that?" Joyce asked. "BECAUSE HE'S DATING MY DAUGHTER!"
You weren't clueless to Hopper not liking Eddie. Course that was mainly because he did catch the two of you making out, quite a few times. Hopper hated Eddie though, way before that. The second he laid eyes on the boy, he just seemed to dislike him. Eddie was of course, terrified. However, he kept coming around you because that boy LOVED you.
"Explain to me again why WE have to do this?" Eddie asked. "Because apparently Nancy underestimated how much baking for a bake sale that this requires." You said, walking in with grocery bags. "Yes but what if your dad comes home?" Eddie asked. "It's not like he's walking in on us doing something weird, we're baking Ed." You snorted at the subtle fear he displayed. "What is he even doing?" He asked. "He's bonding with El." You shrugged. "Oh" "and Mike." You added. "Oh, so that poor bastard is dealing with him instead." Eddie said making you laugh.
You both started baking, Eddie occasionally looking over at you. "What?" You asked, noticing him stare. He smudged cookie dough on your cheek making you laugh. "You little shit!" You laughed, swiping his nose with it. He looked at you and you looked at him. "THIS IS WAAARRR!" He said, watching as you backed away. He charged at you with the cookie dough, you launching a small bit of flour in his face. He froze, you laughing hard. He smiled, pulling you into a hug from behind and you giggled as he kissed your cheek, the door opening in the living room. You wriggled from him, occasionally getting him with flour.
Hopper walked in, El, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Robin and Steve all trailing behind him. "Thanks for letting us hang out here." Dustin said. "Yeah yeah I know-" he heard a squeal followed by laughing. "I cannot believe you suck this badly at baking!" You laughed, Hopper raising a brow. He looked over where you typically took off your shoes and saw it. Eddie's shoes. Hopper frowned. "Dad, no" El tried to stop him.
He entered the kitchen, prepared to yell but he saw you, sitting at the counter with a smile, eating cookie dough as Eddie put the cookies in the oven. "I feel like we've got a good system going. You make the batter and I-" "Eat most of it?" You teased. He chuckled before jumping, noticing Hopper.
Suddenly, Hopper wasn't angry anymore. Seeing you with that smile, seeing you happy, it was more important than his illogical hatred for Eddie. You looked over. "Hey dad, welcome home." You greeted. "....Why are you baking?" He asked. "SHE JUST NEEDED HELP I SWEAR!" Eddie squeaked out. "Eddie, calm down. Nancy apparently signed up to bake for a bake sale to help the paper, she underestimated how many cookies they needed so she called us." You said.
Hopper looked at Eddie and then you. "...Make sure you clean up afterwards. Oh and your friends are here. Robin and that Steve guy." He said. You chuckled, seeing Robin walk in. "Wassup!" She said making you smile. "Ooh cookies-" you smacked Steve's hand. "Touch the cookies and I kill you" you said. He stared at you and then Eddie. "I keep sneaking them." Eddie said, earning a "ohhh" from Steve.
"Eddie." Hopper said, making him jump. "Uh... Ye-yes sir?" He asked. "Are you staying for dinner?" Hopper asked. You rose a brow, looking at Eddie and then your dad. "Is that allowed?" You asked. "Yep. Just uh... getting a head count. Have fun" hopper said leaving. "...holy shit." Eddie gaped. "Well that was nice-" "Babe I think he's going to kill me!" Eddie said.
You snorted, as did Robin. "Why would he-" "Uhm, hello? Dating his daughter? He's going to kill me- oh god they're never going to find my body" Eddie said making you laugh. "Baby, maybe, just maybe. You should talk to him." You said. "Me?" Eddie asked. "Yes." You nodded. "Talk to your dad?" He asked. "Yes." You nodded. "Alone?" He asked. "Yes, Eddie. Alone." You said. He looked at you. "...So are you two in on the murder together?" "Oh my god."
However he did take your advice seriously, going to Hopper at the end of the night when he was doing dishes. "Uh, Mr.... Mr. Hopper?" Eddie asked. Hopper turned, the natural disdain for Eddie falling on his face. "I-I was wondering if-if we could uh-" "Sit." Hopper said, motioning to the stool. Eddie sat down. "I don't like you." Hopper said. "....Well I kinda got that." Eddie said. "I don't have to like you." Hopper said. "I understand-" "But Y/n loves you. You make her happy so I will TRY to get along with you." Hopper said. "Yes sir" seemed to be the only thing Eddie could say before Hopper grabbed his shirt, yanking him forward. "However." He began. "If you ever hurt my daughter, I will kill you. There is no question. Am I understood?" He asked. "...Yes sir" Eddie squeaked out. "Good. Do you need a ride home?" Hopper asked. "No sir." Eddie said. "Okay. Get out." Hopper said, letting go of his shirt.
Eddie nearly knocked over the stool sprinting out of the kitchen. He gave you quick kiss goodnight before bolting out the door. You knew that Hopper was the only man who made him that skittish. You walked into the kitchen. "Dad, what did you say to Eddie?" You asked. "What?" Hopper asked. "He seemed weird and scared when he left, what did you say?" You asked. "I didn't say anything, if anything I was trying to bury the hatchet." Hopper said. "...Uh huh, what did you say?" You asked.
Hopper sighed. "I said that I didn't have to like him but I'd try to get along with him because you loved him." He said. "And then?" You asked. "Why do you assume-" "Because there's always a 'and then?' With you." You said. "...And then I said if he hurt you I'd kill him." He added. "Aha! I knew it!" You said. "It's literally my job as your dad to tell him that!" Hopper defended. "Dad, Eddie is so afraid of you that when you were nice to him, he legit thought that he was going to be murdered." You said. "...I strongly considered it." He said.
You sighed. "Does he make you happy?" Hopper asked. "...Yes dad, he makes me very happy." You said. "Then it's fine." Hopper said. You smiled slightly. "But he will die if he hurts you" Hopper said. "Oh please, I'd hand you the shovel." You said, walking out the kitchen.

Steve trying to make dinner for the reader for there first date but it goes wrong. Like she gets there and it’s still in the oven but it catches on fire. But she doesn’t mind and make him flawless better. But worried and sweet Steve is so precious.
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
Tumblr media
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck-" Steve said quickly as he ran across the kitchen, balancing a phone in the middle of all of this. "Oh god, Steve, what have you done now!?" Robin's voice asked. "I think I burnt the dressing or something- is it supposed to be grey?" He asked. "....No Steve. No it is not." Robin sighed. "This probably would've gone smoother if you had just let me borrow the cookbook!" He sighed. "Mom is territorial over the damn thing, it was otherwise I read it over the phone or nothing at all!" She defended. He sighed. "Just put the chicken in the oven and back away from your stove- FAR AWAY. FAR FAR AWAY." Robin said.
He heard the doorbell, him frowning as he frantically checked his watch. "Oh fuck! I didn't realize it was 7:00 already-" he whined. "Is she there!?" Robin asked. "She just got here- I have to go" he said. "Try not to kill your girlfriend with food poisoning" Robin said.
What would normally be considered a joke was now a legitimate warning. Steve, the adorable jackass that he was, decided for your six month anniversary he was going to cook. One problem.
Steve did not know how to cook. At all. He thought it'd be simple and he certainly was not going to go to you to tip you off that he needed assistance with this either. He was so adamant about doing this, he was honestly excited. At first anyway. Three attempts were made to make this damn dressing. Three. And yet the poor bastard still didn't get it.
He answered the door. "Hi darling" you greeted with that beautiful smile. He kissed you, you smiling against his lips. "How goes my little chef?" You asked. "....Uhh. well. There were some... complications." He said. You rose a brow. "Describe the complications." You said. "Well uh... Robin couldn't actually just give me the cookbook and uhm... I had to basically have her read it to me." He said. You blinked. "Did you write down the recipe?" You asked. Steve handed you a notebook. "Steve, my love. My world, my rock. Why are you making a shepards pie combined with chicken dressing?" You asked. He blinked. "What?" He asked.
You took the pen off of the counter, circling a portion of the recipe. "This is not something you'd make within the dressing, it'd come out a weird grey-" "Ohhhhhh" Steve realized. You sniffed the air. "...Babe something is burning." You realized. "SHIT" he gasped, opening the oven. He jumped back at the sight of the burning chicken, you sprinting over to the extinguisher. "Here-" you said, him taking it.
From the angle he used it from, both of you ended up with the white all over you. "I am so sorry." He gaped. You stared at the oven and then Steve. "I feel like such a moron right now, I am so sorry-" you bursted out laughing, you hugging your sides. "I-I love you so much but-but please never cook un-unsupervised aga-again" you wheezed out, laughing as you spoke. Steve couldn't help but smile before laughing himself.
After laughing for what must've been five minutes, you finally started cleaning up. "You bought enough ingredients to fuck up two more times." You realized. "After the third disaster that was the dressing, I kind of had to." He said. "...Hmmm." you hummed, pulling out the ingredients. "Wait, what are you doing?" He asked. "We'll make it together. This way you'll actually learn, instead of having your bestfriend, who doesn't know how to cook either, help you." You said. You didn't really care about an apron, seeing as you changed into a simple t-shirt and boxers of Steve's once you started cleaning up.
Steve watched as you started putting things together by what he wrote down. "Wait, what about the missing portion?" Steve asked. "We improvise." You shrugged, grabbing something from the cupboard. He watched you, carefully. He had slight paranoia about going off script, but an hour later, everything seemed actually edible.
"...How-how did you-" "Babe, I wanna give you cooking lessons- " you gasped dramatically. "CAN WE TAKE COOKING LESSONS TOGETHER!?" You asked excitedly. "Yeah! Yeah okay but you still have to explain the witchcraft you just preformed in the kitchen" he said. You snorted. "Well, it's easy, most dressings use a similar recipe for a base, y'know? Like chicken broth, which you had. I just added breadcrumbs so it wouldn't just be soup. So. Tadaaa" you said, motioning to food on the table. He smiled looking at you.
"What?" You asked. "I love you so much." He said. You grinned kissing him. "I love you too" you said. You leaned in to kiss him again when the doorbell rang. "Did you invite someone over?" You asked. "No?" Steve said confused before he answered the door to a frantic Robin.
She was out of breath, holding up the cookbook. "I had to-to sneak this past mom" she wheezed. "Robin" Steve tried to speak. "The pages- were stuck together- It's why you kept- messing up" she said. "Robin" Steve sighed. "I am giving this to you so you can fix it or something- even though she's here-" Robin panted. "Robin, she took over and fixed it." Steve said. Robin gaped as Steve opened the door further to see the kitchen that was now clean. "Hey Robin" you waved. "Hi- what the fuck?" She gaped, walking in.
"I saw the recipe he wrote down, I improvised but it tastes great if you want some" you offered. "Harrington, your girlfriend is fucking awesome" Robin said. He smiled as you giggled.
"I know"

Studious (Eddie Munson x fem!reader)
Warnings: mentions of weed, making out, cursing, over the clothes action I guess is what that qualifies as
Tumblr media
You scribbled down another formula, Nancy sitting next to you. "I need a favor" she said. "Does it include me being able to study?" You asked. "Y/n-" "I am in dual enrollment whilst going through two sets of midterms. What do you want?" You asked, dark bags under your eyes. She jumped back slightly. "I need someone to take Mike to his stupid club tonight. I wouldn't ask usually but the paper needs me." She said. You sighed. "Can't you ask Harrington?" You whined. "I did. He's working." She said. You groaned, nodding. "What time?" You asked. "So you'll do it?" Nancy asked. "What. Time." You repeated. "Five." She said. "Fine. But after this, nada. I need to study." You said.
"You need a break." Robin said, sitting next to you. "Why don't you ask Robin?" You realized. "You wanna tell her or should I?" Nancy asked. Robin sighed. "I... Don't know how to drive?" She said. You dropped your pencil and your jaw. "I have finally one upped your ass." You said. "Finally? Dude, you're an honor student on track to be the valedictorian. You one upped me a LONG time ago" Robin scoffed.
You pulled into the Wheeler's, Mike running out to the car and sitting in the front seat. "Thanks for doing this!" He said. "Your welcome. Nancy picking you up?" You asked, pulling out of the drive. "Uh... I thought you were." He said, making you slam on the breaks. "What." You asked, eye slightly twitching. "Well she said she had to go somewhere after the paper-" "WHAT ABOUT ME HAVING TO STUDY DO YOU PEOPLE NOT GET!?" you shrieked. "Look! Eddie can take me home! I'd prefer you though so I don't smell" he said. Smell? What the fuck was this kid talking about?
"Fine. When do you need to be picked up?" You sighed. "I don't know." Mike admitted. "....What?" You asked. "Please don't yell- there's a couch, I'm sure you could study there!" He said. You sighed. "I am so killing Nancy" you breathed.
Mike walked in, Eddie looking up. "Wheeler joins us- and brought a friend." He noticed you walk in. "I need a table and a chair." You said. "....For D&D?" Dustin asked. "What? No. Calculus" you said. "....There's the nook over there you can use." Lucas pointed. You sat down, pulling your hair back. Eddie rose a brow. "Who is that?" Dustin asked. "A friend of Nancy's. She's taking me home too." Mike said. "Nice" Gareth said. "Ew. God no, she'd sooner kill someone with her text book." Mike said. "Y/n L/n, right?" Eddie asked. You looked up, everyone turning to Eddie. "Yeah. Eddie Munson, right?" You asked. "Yeah." He nodded.
"Great, we know each other but I really have to-" "You seem really tense." He said. "Yes, two sets of midterms so-" "do you need to get high? Might make you less tense and could make you focus." He offered. You stared at him for a moment. "...This is possibly the strangest offer I have ever received besides some drunk guy offering to pierce my ear before falling off a dock." You said making Mike snort. "I'm just saying, someone as gorgeous as you does not need worry lines from midterms. So otherwise you need a break or you need to get high. Or both." Eddie said.
You pointed at Mike with your pencil. "Your comment makes sense now." You realized. Mike shrugged. "Also, I appreciate the compliment but I need to solve this so-" Eddie walked over, looking over your shoulder. "Maybe I can help so you can chill the fuck out." He offered. "Yes, because I should take the advice of someone who's been held back multiple times." You sighed. "I'm not taking that personally because I know you're stressed." He shrugged. "Eddie, seriously-" "That needs to be a three." Eddie said.
You blinked, looking at where he pointed. You doubted him for just a second before realizing that the cocky little shit was right. It needed to be a three. "...oh" you said. "Can I show you a trick?" He asked. "...Fine?" You said confused. He took your pencil, still hanging over your shoulder as he circled three things. He went on some lengthy explanation that nearly sounded rehearsed. "...How the fuck do you know this?" You asked. "Oh, it's like you said. I've been held back multiple times. I heard this shit spat back at me for years." He said. You nodded. "Now that that's fixed, would you like to take a break?" He asked.
"I'm not getting high" you said. "Hey, I'm not going to pressure you." He halted. "Okay. Just making sure." You said. "I'm just saying, I noticed you at lunch with Wheeler, you looked stressed. Take a break." He said. "I will take a break when I am done." You said. He sighed. "Alright. Just remember what I showed you. Now." He turned back to his group. "Let us advance the campaign!" Eddie said.
You must've sat there for three hours writing out formula after formula. You finally set down your pencil, leaning back into the couch as the boys continued with their campaign. You didn't want to move. You were comfortable... maybe if you just rested your head. You leaned over, resting your head on the arm of the chair, falling asleep.
Eddie laughed as Jeff slayed another enemy. He noticed your sleeping figure, him raising a brow. He noticed you shivering. "Hold that thought Henderson" Eddie halted. He got off of his stool, taking off his jacket and draping it over you. He sat back down, continuing the game.
Finally the game ended, Mike tapping your shoulder. You leaned up, yawning. "What time is it?" You yawned. "Almost midnight." He answered. "Christ, you guys play for a long ass time." You muttered. "Yeah, kind of how the game works." Mike shrugged. You looked down. "Who's jacket is this?" You asked. "It's Eddie's but he already left." Mike said. "Oh. Okay." You said, gripping it. You took it with you along with your books as you left with Mike.
The next day, you walked into school. The usual chatter filled the halls as you walked over to Eddie as he spoke to his group from last night. "Hey, Eddie" you called. He turned. "If it isn't sleeping beauty. Glad to see you took that break." He said. "Right. Uhm... thanks for keeping me warm" you said, handing him his jacket. He took it. "Thank you my dear." He said. You nodded. "Hey, if you ever need a break from everything, you can come with Wheeler when we meet up." He said. "I don't really do the whole D&D thing." You said. "You don't have to play." He shrugged. "I'm good." You said. "I'm in a band too." He added. You turned around again.
"I know." You said. "Yep. We're playing tonight. If you wanna go." He offered. "I have more studying Eddie." You said. "Y'know, if you keep doing that, you might end up in a boring ass office job if you're not careful." He warned. "Whatever" you sighed, walking away.
That comment would bug you more than you could ever realize. You sat at your desk in your room, that comment just driving you nuts. Eddie did that on purpose, you knew it. You tried to disregard his stupid comment before a flash of his black hair shot through your mind, making you snap the lead in your pencil. You sighed, setting down your pencil before getting up.
You packed your bag, walking out. You could not believe where you were standing at the moment. You stood in a small bar, watching Eddie set up. "Uh dude. Honor freak is here." Gareth noticed. Eddie looked over his shoulder, seeing you sitting at the bar. He chuckled, walking over. "Hey Sleeping Beauty." He greeted. "Hello Munson" you said. "What brings you here?" Eddie asked. You stopped writing and he rose a brow. "I don't know" you admitted. "You don't know?" He said confused. "No, I don't. One minute I'm studying, everything was fine and the next, I'm sitting at my desk unable to fucking focus because of you and your Van Halen hair!" You huffed. Eddie blinked. "...You know who Eddie Van Halen is?" He asked, slightly surprised. "I was literally listening to the Clash when I was studying, I may qualify as a nerd but I am a cultured one Munson." You said.
"Christ, you got hotter" he breathed. "And that! What the fuck is up with that!?" You asked. "Up with what!? Flirting!?" He asked. "Yes flirting! Why are you doing that!? Why are you-you always complimenting me- even that stupid nickname is technically a compliment!" You said. "Because you're gorgeous? Look, if you hate it I will stop-" "That's the problem Munson! I don't hate it!" You said.
He rose a brow. "...You don't?" He asked. "No! And for whatever fucking reason have been on my mind since yesterday- I put your name on a test- I think you broke me Munson- you did! And I have to know how!" You declared. He chuckled. "Y/n, I don't suppose you've ever had a crush before?" He suggested. "What? No, why would I? I literally do not have time." You said. "You have never found someone cute before?" He asked. "I mean. Once with Gabriel Feng- ooohhhhhh" you realized.
Eddie didn't piss you off. You liked him. "Now it clicks." He said with a chuckle. "....Huh." you realized. "Yeah." Eddie nodded with that goofy smile. "I said all of that out loud." You realized. "Yes you did." Eddie nodded. "And I said that to you." "Yep." "The boy I have a crush on." "Apparently" Eddie nodded. "...I have to go die now, break a leg!" You said getting up. He stopped you. "Wanna hear how I feel before you start digging a hole to China?" He asked. You sighed. "Fine"
"I think you're gorgeous. And I think when you're not freaking out over class, you're really cool. I think your smart and that comes with pressure and you don't know how to relieve it with a break because you're worried that once you take that break, you'll come back burnt out." He said. You sighed. "Yeah. You're right I do have a problem" you admitted. "And I think-" he slid his fingers under your chin so you'd look up. "I could teach you how to relieve that stress" he said.
You felt your cheeks grow warm, a pink tint falling onto your face. He chuckled. "You're adorable when you blush" he said. You swallowed hard. "I-I... don't... don't you have a show?" You asked. "Five drunk guys who are all collectively passed out and two band mates who have been complaining about back pain since we got here. The only perk right now is the gorgeous girl who just admitted to having a thing for me, take a wild guess on who I'm going to focus on." He said making you smile slightly.
"And there it is." He said. "There what is?" You asked. "That smile I have been dying to see." He said making you smile wider. "Ohhh you are so making me want to give you a backstage tour." He said. You looked over at your textbooks and then him.
"Do it." You said. He smirked. "Follow me" he said, taking your hand. He made a confusing gesture to Gareth who looked relieved as you two went into a small room. It was carpeted with wooden panels as its walls. It had two couches, cases to various instruments propped on the wall. The door closed behind you. "This is a lot more normal than what I expected-" Eddie pulled you into a kiss, your eyes widening as you realized what was happening.
You pulled away slightly, Eddie giving you a questioning look before you kissed him, him pulling you close. He guided the two of you to the couch, you literally falling into his lap as he sat down. He cupped your cheeks, his thumb moving strands of hair away from your eyes. He looked like he was mesmerized by you. "Something wrong?" You asked. "No, I'm just uh... I'm amazed by what I'm looking at" he muttered making you smile as he kissed you again.
You were straddling him, holding his face as you kissed him. He smelled like weed mixed with whiskey. It wasn't a necessarily good smell but was growing on you as he shifted slightly. His kisses trailed down your neck and to your collarbone. He noticed your body tense as he reached certain spot. He nipped at it, pressing kisses to your skin. You seemed to be trying to keep quiet as he went on but finally you broke.
"Eddie" that sound was better than any song he could play. It was soft, airy with its delivery. "My god, you are so lucky we're backstage right now" he mumbled. "W-whys that?" You asked. "Because if we weren't you'd have trouble walking for a week." He said. Your face must've been crimson, him chuckling.
"Eddie, I'm not opposed us sleeping together if that's your drawback." You said. He chuckled. "Oh I know baby. But I do not want our first time together in some musty ass rec room in a bar where you are trying to keep quiet. I want to hear you say my name" he said in your ear. Your face must've hit a new shade of red after that comment, you trying to hide by resting your head on his shoulder. He chuckled, holding you close. "You're cute when you're embarrassed" he teased. "Shut up Munson" you huffed making him laugh.
You smiled slightly, looking at him. "So this whole making out thing... is this uh... a regular occurrence with you?" You asked. "If you're asking me if I'm completely single, yes Y/n, I have no secret wives that I married in Vegas." Eddie joked. You laughed and he smiled. "However. I have this girlfriend." He said. You blinked. "Oh yeah, should've mentioned this. She's beautiful, studies all the time though-" you smacked his chest softly. "You had me ready to fight you dude" you said. "So what do you think?" He asked. "I think girlfriend sounds nice." You said. "Mmm. I do too" he said with a grin.
"So you're my boyfriend" you realized. "Yes I am" he nodded. "I'm your girlfriend." You said. "Yes." He nodded. "Girlfriend" "yep." "Boyfriend." "That's me." He nodded. "...How the fuck did I wander in here confused by the mere thought of me having a crush to walking out of here with a boyfriend?" You asked. "You move fast?" He suggested. "I do not" you said. "Literally three minutes ago, you offered to fuck me." He reminded. "I have a natural weakness to the collarbone, dick." You huffed. "...Is that so?" He asked.
"Eddie, why are you looking at me like- ah" you let out a moan at the end of your sentence as Eddie kissed you. "Jesus christ that's sexy" he mumbled against your skin. "Eddie" you breathed out. He pulled away, your face pink. "That's going to be fun" he chuckled. "Shut up" you breathed. "Wait, I gotta leave at least one hickey" he halted. "Wha- no way!" "Come on, I can't be keeping you back here and not have some proof that you're my girlfriend, it'll hurt my street cred." He said making you snort. "That's the most ridiculous- Ngg" you felt him lock onto a spot on your neck, pulling away with a satisfied look. "YOU LEFT IT IN THE MOST OBVIOUS PLACE!" you whined. "That's the point!" Eddie said. "Uuugggghh" you groaned.
You leaned back, causing slight friction against Eddie's jeans. He swallowed hard, trying to ignore how good that felt. "I should go" you sighed. "What? No- you just got here" he said. Eddie came across as slightly darty eyed. Trith be told, he didn't want you to see the boner he had, hoping to get away with letting the damn thing die down before you got up. "Eddie I will call you, I really do have midterms" you shifted again and he rested his head on your chest, hiding the urge to groan.
"Eddie, are you okay?" You asked, shifting again. "Yep, just fine" he said, into your chest. "Eddie, I need to get my stuff it's still at the bar-" you moved again and he pulled you closer, unintentionally teasing himself. "G-gareth and Jeff are out there they will see if anyone touches your stuff" he breathed. "But Ed, I really should-" you moved again and he bit back a moan. "Stop. Moving." He said. You blinked. "What?" You asked. He looked up. "Look, I was going to try to keep this on the downlow, I was hoping that you wouldn't see this but I have a boner and you are moving right on it and it's making it worse." He admitted.
You blinked. "....Oh" you realized. "I'm surprised you didn't notice." He said. "....I literally thought that that was your leg or something in your pocket." You admitted. "Nope." Eddie said. You rose a brow, noticing the turned on expression he wore. "So you won't mind if I do this" you rolled your hips forward and he inhaled sharply. "Maybe even this" you rolled your hips back and Eddie ran his hand through hid hair. You kept moving on purpose, him biting his lip to keep cool. "Fuck, Y/n" he breathed.
You smiled innocently at him. "What's wrong Eddie?" You asked. "Oh you cocky little- ah" he breathed, you rubbing that spot just right. "I swear to god, if we weren't in this bar" Eddie breathed. You were wishing you weren't. You kissed him, still moving. He ran his hands over your body, you smiling against his lips. "Eddie, I really do have to go" you whispered. "Damn.." Eddie breathed. "My number is in your jacket pocket." You said getting up. Eddie pressed a goodbye kiss to your lips before sending you home.
The next day you were sitting at lunch, reading. Robin sat down, talking to Nancy as she sat down. "And then- Oh my fucking god." Robin realized. "What?" You asked. "Who's the guy that gave you that!?" Robin asked, pointing to your neck. You blushed, looking over at Eddie. He smiled at you and you blushed harder. "I didn't even know you had a boyfriend, your head's been shoved in a book for so long." Nancy said. "It's new" you muttered as Eddie sat next to you.
Nancy sighed. "What do you want, Munson?" She asked. "Nothing, just wondering what's got bookworm all flushed." He shrugged, knowing damn well the answer to that. "Someone has a boyfriend and isn't talking." Robin said. "Bookworms got a man, do tell." Eddie said, batting his eyes as if he didn't know. You rolled your eyes. "He's cute." You sighed, setting down your pencil. "Funny, great sense of humor" you added making smile wider. "However, he is getting on my last damn nerve with this hickey situation" you huffed. "Awww. I'll show you how to cover it up, don't worry" Nancy assured. "You're still not answering my question." Robin said. "What?" You asked. "Who gave it to you?" She asked.
"Yeah, do we know him?" Eddie asked. You rolled your eyes, Eddie chuckling. "Well, do we know him?" Nancy asked. "Yes, you know him." You sighed. "Is he in our class?" Robin asked. "Yes." You answered. "Is he at school today?" Nancy asked. "What is this, 'I Spy'?" You asked. "Answer us!" Robin and Nancy said, Eddie smiling with amusement. "Yes he's at school." You sighed. "Is he in the lunchroom?" Robin asked, looking around. You smiled at Eddie who was now looking at you. "Yep". "That narrows it down, I guess." Nancy nodded. "Give us a hint here, we're dying!" Robin whined. "Sure, he's sitting next to me." You sighed.
Both girls locked in place. "No fucking way" Nancy breathed. "You're dating MUNSON!?" Both girls asked in unison, a few people looking at your group including "The Hellfire Club". "Thanks for announcing that Nance." You said sarcastically. "Do you not want to be seen with me?" Eddie asked. "I don't give a shit about being seen with you, I give a shit about being distracted by a hot guy and two blabbermouths who won't let me study!" You whined. He chuckled, kissing the side of your head. "Come sit with us, we're quieter" he said. "You better be." You huffed.
Robin and Nancy gaped as they watched you get up and walk over to Eddie's table. "I cannot believe our girl is dating Eddie Munson. Hasn't he been held back like four times?" Robin asked. "Yeah but I think it might be good for her." Nancy shrugged. "Why's that?" Robin asked curiously.
"She finally looked up from her books."

Falling (Steve x reader)
Warnings: Sad as fuck, blood, death
Note: be glad. This was the original ending to a fic I was working on. Depending on how season 4's part 2 is and season 5, it will change but this was its original ending.

Your heart was pounding in your ears as you raised the rifle. Somehow, you had become the center of this stand off with one of those damn Demogorgon things you heard about from Dustin. "Y/n, do you copy?" Dustin's frantic voice asked. "Yeah, I copy." You said with your freehand on the radio Lucas had handed you. "What's your position" "Fuck formalities Mike, where are you Y/n!?" Dustin asked. "In the woods, DO NOT come for me." You halted. "WHY WOULDN'T WE COME FOR YOU!?" Max shrieked.
The Demogorgon had disappeared but judging by the flickering of your flashlight, it was coming back. You knew this was the end of the line. The gash on your leg wasn't going to allow you to run from this one. You had no choice but confrontation. By running off, you were giving this thing a trail of blood to follow. One that could lead it right to the gang.
"Guys, I want you to know this has been the best summer of my life." You said into the radio. "Y/n, listen to me, me and Robin are coming for you!" Steve's voice said. Your bottom lip trembled. "I love you so much Harrington" you said.
"Y/n, I will be there soon, where in the woods are you?" Steve asked, panic rising in his voice. "Tell my dad what happened to me." You said. "Y/n, baby, where are you!?" Steve asked. "I love you" you whimpered out before Steve heard it. That unmistakable sound he heard once before. Once everyone heard the noise on the radio, all of them bolted out of the car and into the woods, safety be damned.
Robin sprinted as fast as she could, not caring how stupid she might've looked. Steve frantically waved his flashlight around, looking for one clue, one thing that might tell him where you were. "Fucking- where is she!?" Dustin asked. "I don't know, we need to listen out for that thing too." Robin said. Steve finally laid eyes on something. It was too small to be left from a claw. But just small enough to be your pocket knife's carving into a tree. You left them signs.
Steve sprinted, everyone following behind him as they witnessed your final stand. You shot the Demogorgon with the rifle as it roared, you landing the shot. However instead of stunning it, you pissed it off. Lucas aimed the arm canon, prepared to shoot but he couldn't get the clear shot as you hit the ground from tripping over a tree root.
Lucas fired at the Demogorgon, hitting its shoulder. It didn't even get its attention, this thing was hellbent on you. You closed your eyes, accepting your fate as the second group ran into the woods. Eleven's battery was so drained from the last fight that when she lifted her hand, nothing happened. Nancy aimed her gun, firing at it but missing the shot. She tried to reload but that wasn't fast enough.
Not when this thing tore into you. Steve was held back by Robin and Dustin as he screamed, Nancy landing the shot and Jonathan using a can of deodorant and a lighter as a flame thrower. The Demogorgon disappeared, Steve sprinting to your side once Robin and Dustin let go.
You coughed up blood, shaking as Hopper and Joyce ran out into the woods. "Help is here baby, we're all here" Steve said. "I-I'm sorry" you whimpered. "Shhh, don't drain yourself" he hushed. He held your hand, kissing your bloodied knuckles. "I th-thought if I-I got it-it alone-" "You don't have to explain anything" Robin said, holding your other hand. "I love you" you said, looking lazily at Steve. He let out a small sob. "I love you too Y/n. We're-we're going to get you help" Steve said. Hopper ran over. "Alright, give me some space, I need to carry her back to the car." He said. Everyone pulled back, Steve watching as Hopper lifted you. You let out a pained whimper, him apologizing as he walked back to the car.
Steve climbed into the car with you, your head in his lap. "You're going to make it." He said. It was more like he was telling this to himself more so than you. "I-I want you to know that... that the... the fighting... it-it was worth it." You said. He knew what you meant.
Steve and you originally butt heads for so fucking long. You were friends with Eddie Munson, hell even Jonathan Byers called you a friend. You had this easy target on your back as you went about life. You two didn't start getting along until you both witnessed the Demogorgon at the Byers' house and fought the damn thing off. After the shared trauma of that event, the whole group of Nancy, Jonathan, Steve and you all became closer. Everything changed the night of that Snowball though.
Steve and Nancy had broken up, her electing to date Jonathan instead. You had spent most of Steve's break up comforting him. His feelings began to change for you and everything changed when he asked you to dance.
You two had agreed to be chaperones with Nancy. All that night was spent with her trying to set you up with Steve and you could tell, though you never admitted that. The moment happened when she finally left you alone. Steve asked you to dance and he was met with silence.
"You okay L/n?" He asked after the excruciating silence. "Yeah uhm... I..." you shuffled, slightly embarrassed. This spoke wonders on your personality. You were this leather jacket, cigarette smoking, machete wielding badass. The fact that you were embarrassed right now confused the fuck out of Steve. You shuffled slightly in place. "I don't know how to dance." You admitted. Steve blinked. "Wait what?" He asked. "I don't know how to dance! Usually I never go to these things but you asked me to chaperone with you and I did so now I'm here and I thought I could just sit here but now you wanna dance and-why are you taking my hand- Harrington are you deaf!?" You rambled as Steve pulled you onto the dance floor.
"I will teach you, it's easy." He assured. "Is it Harrington? Is it really?" You huffed. He put his hands on your waist. "Your hands go on my shoulders, if you need a guide, look at the kids around you." He said. You put your hands on his shoulder. "And now we sway" he said. "Okay. But see, I'm in heels. One off balance moment and the things that will snap will by my heel, my ankle and my neck" you said making him snort. "I'm not joking, these things are death traps" you huffed.
You fell into a comfortable silence with Steve, simply just watching each other. "I'm glad we became friends." He said. "Me too" you nodded. "I don't know if you realize this Y/n, but you're my bestfriend." He said. "Well duh. I'm great." You said. He rolled his eyes. "Would it kill you to be even just a little sentimental?" He asked. "It might" you teased. He rolled his eyes again, prepared to pull away. "Wait, wait. Fine." You sighed. "Enjoy this moment because this is as sentimental as I get" you warned. He looked at you. "Hating you was worth it if it means I get to be your best friend now." You said. He blinked. "If you tell anyone I said that I will deny-" he cut you off with a kiss, you sinking into his touch. You pulled away with wide eyes. "....Well shit Harrington, if you had done that beforehand I'd be nicer all the time!" You said making him grin.
"I know baby. I know" Steve said softly as Robin climbed into the trunk, looking at you over the seat. "How is she feeling" she asked. "I-I keep" you coughed, blood dripping from your lips as Hopper drove with Dustin in the front seat. "I keep trying to say-say something wi-wise as my-my last wo-words. And so far-" you coughed again, wincing with it. "All I have is-is 'pigeons are-are just street chi-chickens." You said, earning sad chuckles from everyone. "You are going to live through this" Steve said. "I lo-love you" you said. "I love you too" Steve said, his voice breaking. "All-all of you. Even-even the moody ass c-cop" you said. "I love you too kid." Hopper said.
"Du-dustin" you coughed. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Make sure-" you wheezed, your breathing becoming harder. "Hurry up Hopper!" Steve said. "I'm trying." He said. "Make-make sure you take care of- of Steve." You said. "We both will" Robin assured. Robin prided herself on being a realist. She knew damn well that this was it for you. "Promise me-" "stop straining yourself-" "Promise me you will let yourself move on" you coughed out. Steve frowned. "Y/n-" "I want you to have ever-everything. The-the house- the kids. Hell- if you're happy-happy selling Conch sh-shells out the back of-of a van in California- I want you to have it-it." You coughed. "Y/n-" "Promise me" you pleaded. He closed his eyes, holding your hand. "I promise." He said softly.
Hopper pulled into the hospital, him unloading you. Doctors ran off with you, all groups meeting in the waiting room. Steve paced, running a hand over his face.
You sat on the counter as Steve flipped a pancake. "Have I mentioned how hot it is that you can cook?" You asked. Steve chuckled. "I am so glad your parents are stuck in Detroit" you said. "Believe me, I'm a fan too. Especially if it means you get to stay with me." He said. "Please, your parents love me so much, I could easily stay here anyway." You laughed. He chuckled. "Yes but you couldn't be walking around in just my shirt and boxers though." He said, looking at you as you bit into a piece of toast in his t-shirt. "Valid point." You said with a grin.
He cooked silently for a few moments. "What if we got our own place?" He asked. You nearly choked. "Don't get me wrong, I love living rent free but... I think I love waking next to you more than anything else." He said. You looked at him shocked. "...did you suffocate on your toast-" "no I just... are you serious?" You asked. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He asked. "Okay Harrington, I'm making a deal. Laying all my cards on the table." You said. He looked over. "One year of us together. And I will gladly move in." You said. "Seems fair. And logical." Steve nodded. "You aren't just dating me for my looks babe." You scoffed. You heard the house phone ring and you sighed. "I swear to god if that's my dad, I might scream." You said.
Hopper bounced his leg as Mike had his legs in his chair. Will stared out the window as the morning sun broke over Hawkins. Joyce sat next to Hopper and Robin was trying to distract herself with a magazine but failing miserably. Dustin was watching Steve pace, Jonathan holding Nancy's hand.
"If I just landed that shot." Nancy kept thinking to herself. Eleven felt more guilty than anyone else. She had taken one of those things down before. That should've been easy. But her powers were dead along with her battery. Max kept looking over at Lucas as he held your radio. The doctor stepped in, everyone looking up. "Hopper?" He asked. "Is she okay?" Hopper asked. "May I speak to you in priv-" "this is family doc, anything you say to me will get to them." He halted. The doctor nodded and sighed. Robin stood up, bracing for news. If it were good, they wouldn't need to speak about it in private, right?
"Hopper she... she tried to fight." Sound drowned out for Steve as his legs gave out from underneath him, Hopper sitting back down with his face in his hands. Joyce pulled Hopper into a hug as Steve sobbed into Robin's shirt. Dustin hugged the two teenagers as all groups felt a new sense of heaviness.
You were gone. That girl who protected them, the girl who played d&d, the girl who's laugh lit up a fucking room, all of that was gone. Eleven put her face in her hands, sobbing as Mike hugged her. Hopper hugged Eleven as well, her holding his arm as she cried. Hopper saw the blue band on her wrist.
"What's that?" Eleven asked you. "This? Oh this was my little sister Sara's." You said, sitting on your bed. "Sara." Eleven repeated. "Yes. Sara. Did dad tell you about her?" You asked. "Gone." Eleven said. "Yeah. Died when I was eleven." You said, recalling that terrible day. You knew your dad blamed himself for that. Even though you knew it was beyond his control. You looked over at Eleven. "I swore I'd never take it off unless" you lifted Eleven's wrist. "I had another sister." You said, slipping the blue band around her wrist. "Sisters." Eleven said. "Yeah. You and me kid." You nodded, her hugging you. "Promise you'll never take this off." You said. Eleven nodded.
"I promise"
