Imagine it, both Severus and Regulus death eaters, double agents for the Dumbledore against the dark lord, Dumbledore sent in Remus to go spy on Fenrir Greyback and his pack. (I know it's not Canon) Remus meets up with Dumbledore's spies, and they trade information. They work on plans, and they turn the tides of war together.
Now that I'm thinking about it, this would've been a really good trio.
Since I've done the province, might as well show my reimagined/redesigned APH Canada, Alexander Hyatt
The name Alexander comes from John A. MacDonald's middle name and Alexander Galt's first name, two political men and founders of the Canadian federation (and very controversial figures, but the name fitted), while Hyatt is the last name of my own city's founder, Gilbert Hyatt, a loyalist.
Finally he's a fan of the Ottawa's Senator hockey team, he's sure of himself, a bit curt and arrogant, but he doesn't seem to notice it.
(That's the thing about you plastics, you think everybody is in love with you, when in fact, everybody hates you)
I'll probably make more headcanon posts or comics with him and the provinces eventually
Mostly considering the level of danger that is present in Potion class (i.e. literal cauldron can explode if done improperly), his level of competence and mastery of the subjects and the possibility of risk is much more important than manners.
Sure he's mean but if him berating you is saving your life, I say it's a win. (And this come from someone who had intensive science classes between the ages of Hogwarts Students, and we were stupid on Chemistry and Biology lab. It's not much of a stretch to think his attitude maybe saved lives in the classroom)
And finale parentheses, Professor Slughorn was super pleasant, and almost everyone was getting poorer grades in potions overall because he lacked mastery to rework the curriculum and make it up to date (only Harry had better grades and it was because of the Half-Blood Prince's notes...)
People will hate on Snape for being mean and sarcastic with children but he was mean and sarcastic with everyone. He was just treating his students with the same respect he gave everyone else, if you think about it.
So I connected the Bluetooth on my headphones, but them on, and before I could open my music app the Ghostbuster theme song started. An unexpected way to start they day, but hey, that's alright
