For some reason seeing the books that I’ve read and loved sitting on a shelf in a store hurts me, but it makes me glad at the same time. Being so immersed in a book that you forget it’s fictional then remembering it’s just a world within a 6x9 inch book that’s ready to be sold is kinda bittersweet
Might get hate but the only reason people love Lyra so far is cuz people can insert themselves into a relationship with Grayson. (Despite the fact their relationship isn’t yet confirmed and interactions are limited)
I would also go far into saying this is also the same case for people who shipped/ships averygrayson. Where very few people actually cared about Avery’s actual feelings towards him but just wanted to ship her with grayson to satisfy their crushes on him lmaoo. 🤷♀️
ps, I made a similar draft very long ago even before lyra’s name was revealed so I’ve always had this theory

watching "me and my bsf judging people at the mall", "me and my sister judging people in school" videos make me so sad. we should NOT normalize judging anyone, anywhere, under any circumstance. as someone who tries her best to keep an open mind and not judge people, it makes me sooooo disappointed. and the fact that people in the comment section just agree? it's so disappointing.
