Early morning in your little apartment You wake up seeing toji sitting on a stool across the bedroom with the window open, his cigarette little up as he breaths in and the smoke escapes through the window, You lay on the bed across from him. You stretch and hum. You hear a low cry and see toji head go up, he smiles getting up, you go to move but you see him wave his hand “ I got him “ toji disappears into another room, You hear his heavy foot steps along with creaking from the old floors. After time The crying dies down and You don’t hear anything. You get up slowly walking to Megumi little nursery,peeking into the room and see toji hold Megumi in his large hands, he tilts his head and smiles at his son ” hello little one “ The sun runs through the window and over his bare back, You can see every scar and blemish on his skin but his muscles were relaxed. You hear him speak softly to his upset son, Megumi whines and moves his little body in his fathers hand. You sit down far away so Megumi can’t see you and you smile leaning on the frame “ hello little one, it’s okay shh“ his large thumbs moves over Megumi cheek lightly wiping the tears. Megumi raven eyes look up at him“ I’m here “ he whispers and moves his right leg slowly bouncing Megumi body. It always warmed your heart seeing Megumi with toji, he’s toji’s twin and nobody could tell you other wise, toji wouldn’t say much but he genuinely loved his son to death, he was his pride and joy before Megumi birth toji refused to even go anywhere without your would stay home in fear of his enemies seeking to get revenge, he would always question he’s ability to be father, he constantly worried but after his sons birth it was like instinct kicked in and he’s constantly been by Megumi side since his first breath, toji refused to leave his side. You smile looking back at your husband “ no one will ever hurt you “You see him smile for the first time in awhile. Megumi whimpers and looks up at him holding his little fingers tightly around toji’s large fingers, toji laughs bringing him closer to his face and kisses his skin lightly “ shh shh I got you” he closes his eyes and mumbles sweet words to his distressed son. He runs his large thumb over Megumi arm. Toji looks over his son and sees how perfect he is. You hear him speak lowly “ I can’t believe your mine “ You see his eyes water as he looks over his son “ I love you so much “ he closes his eyes and Megumi moves his little hand up to feel toji face, his little hands rest on the scar on his fathers lip. Toji opens his eyes smile and laughs moving his finger over his sons hair. he stands up and You rush back to the room laying down. You hear him walk in and he looks around “ beloved “ You smiling up at him. He smiles and walks closer with Megumi in his hand, he moves next to you and brings Megumi close to his chest as he lays on his back, he looks up at the ceiling while resting his hand on Megumi little back, he rubs his back. You look over and smile seeing Megumi little eyes start to shut. He makes little noises clearly relaxed on his fathers chest. Toji breathing gets slower, he’s chest goesup and down slowly along with Megumi. You smile covering them both but You feel toji arm wrapping around you pulling you close, he’s hand rest on the back of your thigh. You look up seeing toji at peace as he sleep. Muscles relaxed and a light snore. You giggle and relax on his shoulder, you smile moving your finger over Megumi little. “ sleep well beloved”.
