I created a reading habit and read everyday for a month but I started a nonfiction book and suddenly idk how to read

Reading and realizing the author is neurotypical when the book says "no one notices their socks on or the lights above or the couch underneath them"

I am terribly bad at keeping this blog updated gosh, anyways, I re-read Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children and I've just started on re-reading Hollow City

While I like this book, I feel like it spoon feeds the reader a little bit, whenever something comes up that was foreshadowed before the author points it out immediately
