𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓: once a month, spencer goes down to this bakery to get his normal coffee and a small donut but he unknowingly sees his future coworker stuffing her face with sweets from the bakery.

warnings: food mentioned, reader is based on elle woods sorta, the fic is in 3rd person , and i can’t think of anything else

Spencer goes to this bakery called maples bakery once a month when he wants to spoil himself. But the bakery is far away the bau, so he wakes up early once a month just to get his simple order.

Spencer opens his car door as he gets out of it and brushes his clothes off just to make sure he looks presentable. after that, he walks to the bakery and looks up and sees the sign “Maple’s bakery” that’s run by a sweet old lady.

Spencer opens the door and the smell of coffee and sweet treats hit his nose. he makes his way to the front as then he looks up at the menu wondering if he’s going get something new.. but he just chooses what he always gets.

“Can i get a small coffee with 3 sugar packs on the side and a apple fritter, please and thank you.” Spencer says as he gives the cashier a small smile as he then pays the amount needed. He then sits down on a bench and opens a book he’s been reading.

Spencer sat there reading until he hears heels clack around the tile floor’s as she walks with some type of excitement. As she walks past him he gets a whiff of her sugary perfume that causes him to look up for a moment. He sees her wearing pink high heels with a pink pencil skirt and a matching blazer with her kinky curls down with a small bow clip in it.

“Hii!! can i get like a espresso and 3 pack of the donuts, thank youu loveee!!” She says bubbly as she looks at the cashier as she gives the cashier a smile with her pearly whites.

She goes to sit down at a table as she then opens her compact mirror and fixes her lip combo while waiting. afterwards she brushes her skirt down as she waits patiently.

Spencer’s order gets called as he puts his book back into his bag and gets his order and sits down at a table across from hers. he begans to fix his coffee to his liking.

Her order gets called as she quickly gets up and walks to the front grabbing her stuff and sitting back down not even waiting for a second to dig in. She begins to drink her expressso even though it’s hot causing her to gasp softly and say

“Ah! it burned me.” but she still drinks it happily she dips her donut in the coffee and begins to eat them.

Spencer looked up from the book he was reading from her gasp as his eyebrow raised softly as he sees her stuffing her face.

“You’Know you can get a sugar rush?” Spencer asks to her as he looks at her with small smile.

“Oh..I haven’t actually thought of that..but i need the energy it’s my first day at this new job.” She says with a slight frown as she looks at him.

“Oh? a new job well i don’t think your boss would like you to be all jittery on the first day, would they?” Spencer asks her as he chuckles a bit

“Yeah..you might be right..” She says as she then gets up and sits at the chair next to him at his table. “I’m Y/n! how about you mr.know it all” She says with a big smile on her face as she gives him his hand to shake.

“Im Spencer..that’s a new name for sure.” He says laughs as he shakes her hands as her hands are so soft like if he touched a pillow.

“Nice to meet you Spencer! you know we should hang out more.. you seem like a good influence.” She says as she has her face in her palms as she looks up at him with admiration.
