Gwen
Walking towards the Psycho Sally’s Haunted Parlor, Gwen was eager to have a fun healthy adrenaline rush. Having had so much baggage and emotional turmoil, that she carried on her shoulders for years… moments like these could hold a lot of weight, and mean a lot to her. After all, it was her choice to be sober this time, and try to become a part of society again. Her boyfriend, whom she loves so deeply, just seems to be going in an opposite direction than her.
Looking back from her perspective, it’s easy to see how sadness may have been what really brought them together. Although for a good amount of time in their relationship he made her feel what felt like happiness…she’s realizing that the way she was depending on him was not healthy at all. It most definitely was not healing her.
As she waited in line with her boyfriend and his son, scary characters, of course, were popping out left and right. It was enjoyable to hear the shouts, screams, and boos, all around her, like a surround sound system.  One character, she noticed in particular. Yes, it was one of the main characters of the Parlor, however, it wasn’t that, the spookiness,  or fun that drew her in.
No, it was the sexiness. The bad boy vibe, the confidence, everything she ever wanted in a guy, but never. Never. Ever. ever. Got. The complete opposite of her boyfriend now. She loves her boyfriend deeply, and she hopes their relationship can be repaired. But if it doesn’t, and she is left alone… with not even the sexy bad boys to have. Well, then that is just sad.
This is a sad story.
