Tokyo Ghoul

Currently reading Tokyo Ghoul: re, and it's honestly amazing. Almost reached the halfway mark and literally every chapter is a new revelation, a cliffhanger, a feast for the eyes and mind. Never have I been this astonished by a manga before. I cannot recommend it enough, it's now one of my favourites. Forget the anime - no really, they did such a bad job, going off course and creating a wholly different storyline in season 2 (which I find so disrespectful to the author but.) - simply read the manga, you won't be dissappointed. It packs more than just one punch, and isn't for the faint of heart. It's expressive and impressive and worth your time.

headcanon that after Luffy achieved his dream & becomes King, Zoro wants to keep travelling to explore & improve his fight ability, and Nami wants to complete her world map. Since Zoro can't navigate alone & Nami doesn't mind having an escort (lol) they agree to travel together

I love this movie. The story, the plot twists, the camera work, the angles, the artistic and aesthetic images - the ending! It's absolutely perfect, a gem

Battle Royale

This book is killer, literally. Thrilling, brutal, heartstring-pulling, toe-curling, bittersweet. Troughout the read a curse word is ever-present in your head, along with the sentiment of "don't give me a backstory if you're gonna hurt me". I couldn't put it down. Recommended!

Love Pistols

Does anyone know where to read new chapters of the manga Love pistols/ sex pistols by Kotobuki Tarako? Even raws?

do we still not know who this person is Crocus is drinking with? The title page appeared in chapter 631 in the context of how people reacted to the Strawhats' return after the timeskip, during the Fishman island arc.

Now (300-400 chapters later) it's clear from the hat that this peron is either from Wano or had contact with the country (- although, Ace learned how to make those hats and gifted one to Little Oars Jr. ...). Plus they are on good terms with Crocus, who was on Rogers' ship. Oden and his family + Cat Viper & Dogstorm sailed with them for a while. Is it one of Roger's old crew or another Wano character we don't (?) know about?

Does anyone know or have a good theory? :)

oooh he's adooorable like this! ♥ Horn Point Chopper is definitely my favourite (chapter 636). He should transform into this form more often! Guard Point and Baby Geezer are also very cute!

One Piece SBS & Cover Stories

Oh, I didn't know how much I missed watching the anime only until I reached the Wano arc. There is so much more that adds to the worldbuilding and understanding of the reader through the manga that otherwise gets lost.

The mountain of knowledge and trivia through SBS (Question Corner) is amazing, next to silly author-reader interactions. And the cover stories were mostly not animated. When I first found them just recently, they made me so happy. Most of them are adorable, and give an insight behind the scenes, answering some questions as to what happened to defeated enemies, like Enel, CP9 and Caesar Clown. And they're considered canon!

Loooved the one on Baroque Works. Always wondered what happened to all the members, and the little storyline was so cute. Also, that Crocodile had a chance to escape and just "didn't feel like it"?! Hah, that tidbit is so interesting. And Mr.1 loyally staying with him lol

Definitely recommend checking them out, if anyone hasn't already :)

Plus, that last panel? Crocodile with the rest of the Whitebeards, obviously intentionally included with that statement? Are we really finally getting that backstory :O
