In an instant he had whisked out a revolver from his breast and had fired two shots. I felt a sudden hot sear as if a red-hot iron had been pressed to my thigh. There was a crash as Holmes’s pistol came down on the man’s head. I had a vision of him sprawling upon the floor with blood running down his face while Holmes rummaged him for weapons. Then my friend’s wiry arms were round me, and he was leading me to a chair.

“You’re not hurt, Watson? For God’s sake, say that you are not hurt!”

It was worth a wound–it was worth many wounds–to know the depth of loyalty and love which lay behind that cold mask. The clear, hard eyes were dimmed for a moment, and the firm lips were shaking. For the one and only time I caught a glimpse of a great heart as well as of a great brain. All my years of humble but single-minded service culminated in that moment of revelation.

“It’s nothing, Holmes. It’s a mere scratch.”

He had ripped up my trousers with his pocket-knife.

“You are right,” he cried with an immense sigh of relief. “It is quite superficial.” His face set like flint as he glared at our prisoner, who was sitting up with a dazed face. “By the Lord, it is as well for you. If you had killed Watson, you would not have got out of this room alive. Now, sir, what have you to say for yourself?”

It was late that night when Holmes returned from his solitary excursion. We slept in a double-bedded room, which was the best that the little country inn could do for us. I was already asleep when I was partly awakened by his entrance.

"Well, Holmes," I murmured, "have you found anything out?"

He stood beside me in silence, his candle in his hand. Then the tall, lean figure inclined towards me. "I say, Watson," he whispered, "would you be afraid to sleep in the same room with a lunatic, a man with softening of the brain, an idiot whose mind has lost its grip?"

"Not in the least," I answered in astonishment.

"Ah, that's lucky," he said, and not another word would he utter that night.

(sorry if this was sent twice but) I remember you tweeted about how the coroner in 1-5 is Stevens, therefore Sithe is newlywed. However, Barok refers to the coroner's findings as "his," meaning that either Sithe uses she/he or she has a brother. Hope this information is useful

The corridor is visible in the background and focus shifts from the mask to Claude and the background. Claude looks curious. The scene shifts to Dimitri. He sits in a bedroom decorated similarly to the hallway and the rest of the house, with an open door to the left and a window with open curtains behind him. He holds a glass of wine in front of him and wears a lion mask. The curtains behind him move and Dimitri startles, disturbing the wine. He immediately turns to look at the window, seeing nothing. His face is frantic as he looks. Dimitri pants as the scene shifts to show us the full room. The corner of the rug closest to the window is disturbed, but otherwise the room is the same. Next, three scenes appear in quick succession. We see Edelgard again, startled and walking backwards away from the fallen vase. Claude's back is to the screen. He is in the hallway, looking at a portrait. He turns to look at the camera. Dimitri dons his lion mask in the hall outside the ballroom. Yuri holds a finger to his lips in a "shh" motion, pulling back the curtain. Farce and Facades appears in a spotlight. Credits roll as we pan along the manor's corridor, showing women in the portraits lining the hallway.

Must be exhausting walking around in all that armor.
