So just a random, but important reminder. Emotional abuse doesn't always involve screaming and name calling. It can also include:
1. Saying super nice things so that you will do what they want especially after you already told them no.
2. Acting as if they are totally responsible for doing somthing hurtful to you whilst telling you that yelling at them makes you the bad guy.
3. Not taking no for an answer on something important to you.
4. Using the statement "I guess you just dont find me attractive anymore" every time you say no to s*x no matter the real reason.
5. Asking/demanding/or luring you into s*x after a fight. ( my ex did this every single time and now I get sick to my stomach at the thought of it)
6. Always talking negative about the people you care about and finding excuses for why you cant see them.
7. Turning serious conversations into light hearted jokes, especially when ita about the boundries they have crossed.
8. Telling you what you can and cannot buy.
9. Telling you that you must give then your paychecks. ( that might seem obvious but some people are really good at being convincing.)
10. The most important is when they spend hours badgering you into doing something you dont want to do. ( my ex once took my keys and phone and did this for FIVE hours about wanting to have relations that night. Laughing and joking the whole time like he was being cute)
11. Bonus one. Keeping you awake past your exhaustion point as often as possible.
I was in an emotionally abusive relationship for over two years and did not know it. He never screamed at me. He never hit me. He never called me awful names. He always told me I was beautiful. Never controlled how I dressed or acted in public. But these were the things he did and I was young enough to not realize it. I hope this helps someone who is in this type of relationship. Abuse isnt always loud or visible.

I don't want women to stop shaving their legs. I want men to start! I want to see men shave legs and arm pits. That's the kind of equality I want!!
Just wanted to add I think that hair traps in sweat and dirt which is why I think men are more known for having a bad smell. So I want everyone to shave for hygienic reasons more than aesthetic!!!!
