I finished, at last, Ghosts of the Shadow Market. I didn't know I could still cry so hard about characters that I knew were doing okay. I guess it's all about the path and not the ending, huh. Man, I'm still amazed by CC's writing. It's a shame I lost the chance to see her when she came to Rio because oh boy... Malec is literally one of the most important things for me.

They make me believe in love and a life full of happiness.

Jem and Tessa make me believe in never giving up, to be patient. Love will find a way. I guess that's also true for Kitty. I don't know, maybe I'm just emotional and rambling a lot, but DAMN, this book was a rollercoaster. Amazing moments, so many of them. Poor Lily.

Also, I just love the fae. They're so cool. And weird.

AND EVERYTIME THE BOOK MADE IT CLEAR THAT WILL WAS ALWAYS THERE WITH TESSA AND JEM OOOOOH I FELT THAT. DAMN.

I'll just go now. But. Like. Wow. What a fantastic book. Don't know why I took so long to read it. So good.

So, my vtm table got a little messy. Camarilla table.

Players: banu haqim, brujah.

NPCs: lasombra and malkavian (anarch malkavian).

Basically, this kidnapped anarch malkavian talked shit about the Camarilla and the Banu Haqim frenzied. They fought like crazy. The Brujah frenzied too. Messy fight. I was dm'ing like my life depended on it. The banu almost diablerized the malk... The girls were fighting...

I like to think that Eros grew up believing Ares didn't loved him as much as his other siblings, Phobos and Deimos. Sure, Harmonia was his daughter and therefore his pretty princess, but the twins were so like him, with domains close to his own. But Eros was just a winged boy with the same powers his mother had.

Until one day he founds out that Ares is actually very proud of him. How could he not? Aphrodite was the love of his life, and they produced a son that was beautiful and powerful like her. And of course he would see Eros as a warrior, with such a powerful bow and arrow that no one could escape from.

Idk I just think a lot about how the god of war fathered the god of love, and that they might share more attributes in common than they think. Eros as a warrior, with his father's eyes and his mother's pettiness.

I just love that Dionysus has his horns!!!!

Considering what Hera did to Dionysus i wouldn't be surprised if he still was angry for what she did to him. Understandably so, since (in Orphic religion) Dionysus was the heir of Zeus and Hera fearing his ingrowing power conspired with the Titans to slay the boy. He was reincarnated as Semele's son but was almost lost again to Hera's jealousy. That's why Dionysus is also referred to as the god or death and rebirth.

Vampyr is actually a great game. Not perfect, not exactly free of boring stuff. But it tells a nice vampire story. I loved it.

More on that, since it finally happened.

- my pc was almost attacked by our barbarian friend that thought he was a zombie or some shit. And then the girl he totally just see as a friend fr slapped him in the face because emotions. It was cute asf. Just a bit awkward because he was almost completely naked, except for a cape.

- one of our party members, a child mage, called my sorlock a member of a "bard band" (he's dressed all in black and now has darkened eyes). It became a joke for days.

- my half-elf pc and my best friend's tiefling pc (who are also besties) are walking side by side at all times, almost like nothing happened and death never separated. They even rested close to one another. (Well, my character is now a reborn so it's not really rest but oh well).

- They discussed a few things and found out that my character doesn't remember his ex-boyfriend (bff tiefling's brother) and the fact that he was a bard. And now they're going to see the elves that took care of my character. It's going to get emotional. Our DM's the best. Love him.

- I got a magic item 😁 (I already have a necklace that houses a fire elemental, a floating sword and now some sort of frost staff). Had to fight for it with the kid mage.

I'm going crazy about it so I'll vent it here since none of my friends know my Tumblr or speak english. So, basically, my first rpg pc died and now my dm made a whole shenanigan with the raven queen and blablablah and what matters is that he's coming back.

One of my best friends (they play as a tiefling, who's my pc, a half-elf's, best friend) is the person I want to tell the most but I know I can't since spoilers and ooooh I feel like eating my hands. I'M GOING INSANE.

After the lame cassino episode I wasn't expecting much from this break into the underworld but boy was I disappointed.

- Crusty, as always, boring af.

- Charon wasn't fun with his italian suits and bribed by stuff.

- Hades is so... goofy? Like, where's the king of the underworld, cold and scary, where's the "I was a rich god" speech (which was silly but it was sort of menacing too), and his dangerous aura. Like, this is just a Hercules Hades wannabe. If that's Nico's dad then he's going to be just fine.

The underworld though was awesome, really loved it. I actually preferred this version to the "oh look everyone ends up here even if they don't believe in it", it would be nice to see it but I guess it would also be problematic.

I loved Sally's flashbacks, how hard it is for her. She's amazing.
