Why did you leeeeave
Honest answer? A combination of a couple things. LIST TIME! (drum roll)
I couldn’t finish V’s route. I read about what happens to Saeran and I immediately closed the game and deleted my save file and never went back.
Saeran's route came out and I was scared to play it. I heard that it’s rough, and he gets hurt a lot, and I didn’t think I could handle it. (I’ve played it now. I was right. It was awful and painful and I was genuinely unwell for some of those days, but I’m really happy I played it. I love Saeran so much.) It's hard to write when you're not up to date with canon stuff.
I don't like the DID headcanon for Saeran. And that’s become very popular since his route came out, so it's hard to find content that matches my own interpretation of canon. This isn’t me saying I have any issues with DID in general or the people who headcanon this, nor do I think my interpretation is law or anything. Headcanon whatever you want, of course! But I personally don't, y'know? I can go into that more if anyone’s still following me or even reading this curious but that’d be a loooong post lol (I’m happy to do it though please let me talk about Saeran forever)

It’s not unrealistic for every single member of the RFA to be bisexual. It’s a well known phenomenon that LGBTs gravitate towards each other even before we’re out to anyone, or even ourselves. And the RFA was gathered together by Rika and V, neither of whom are straight. (Rika at least is canonically Not Straight, and V is too because I said so.) This bi couple just subconsciously vibed with all these closeted bi people and invited them into their big gay charity club.

Random holiday headcanon:
The first Christmas after the Chois are reunited, Saeyoung dresses up in one of those Christmas dresses
(like they wear in Mean Girls)
and sings "Merry & Happy" by TWICE to Saeran
"This New Year I'm happy, because you're with me~"
Saeran calls him an idiot, but he really is grateful for all the lengths his brother is going through to make Christmas merry for him
(Because it’s obvious he’s doing it all for Saeran.)
Not grateful enough to wear the matching dress Saeyoung bought for him, but still grateful.

Zen:
He likes the romantic ones
“All I Want for Christmas is you~♡“
He also likes anything that’s a duet he can sing with his sweetheart.
Even if you say you don’t sing
He’ll find a way to convince you.
And if not, you can always lip sync!
(He can try and sing both parts for you!)
If he has his way it will turn into a whole musical number, complete with choreography and backup dancers.
He likes “Baby It’s Cold Outside” because romantic Christmas duets????
But because of the controversy surrounding it and how it can be interpreted badly, he offers to sing the girl’s part instead if you’re a girl.
(He’ll play it up for you too, acting all delicate and innocent, fluttering his eyelashes up at you as you hold him in your arms, to make you laugh)
It always ends in you two either giggling or kissing.
Or both.
Yoosung:
Punk Goes Christmas.
Not that he doesn’t like classic Christmas carols! He does.
He loves family Christmas time listening to family Christmas classics.
He just thinks they’re kind of… boring sometimes? He likes them, but he won’t go out of his way to listen to them on his own.
But if his favourite bands have Christmas music, why wouldn’t he listen to it during Christmas?
His favourite song is “I Don’t Wanna Spend Another Christmas Without You” by The Ready Set.
He dedicates this one to his future s/o~
assuming he’s not going to be alone forever T_T

Jaehee:
Jaehee likes the default classic Christmas songs.
She doesn’t dance or sing along with them, but she likes having them in the background when she has time to relax.
Or putting them on in the background while she’s working late at home during the holidays (T_T)
It makes her feel like even though she’s working she’s still celebrating the holidays.
She also really likes when popular singers and actors she likes release albums of Christmas covers.
(Low-key dropping hints to Zen that he should release one)

The Jingle Cats.

He’s been a huge fan since the day he saw the first video.
He’s watched them all.
He even paid the creator to make the same kind of thing with Elizabeth the 3rd.
It’s his ringtone.
Seven:
He hates Christmas carols.
He has memories of them just like everyone else does. His memories suck.
He remembers hearing them in the background when he went out as a kid to get food for Saeran, or hearing faint Christmas carols from the windows of neighbours who didn’t notice or care what was going on in their house on this supposedly jolly day.
All his memories of Christmas are feelings of guilt and pain.
He hates Christmas.
Some years he’ll lie just lie on his bed for hours listen to the sadder Christmas songs and wallow in misery
(“Christmas Just Ain’t Christmas Without The One You Love”. “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”. Stuff like that.)
When he gets his brother back though, his Christmas angst lightens up almost immediately.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” is his favourite now. For meme reasons.
“Santa Baby” is up there too. Also for memes.
(Saeran can’t even listen to the song anymore without remembering his brother in that dress. Way to ruin a classic for him, Saeyoung.)
Saeran:
Saeran doesn’t know very many.
His experiences with Christmas carols are all very brief and distant
And he doesn’t really know how he feels about them?
(He always wanted to have a normal, happy Christmas as a kid.
He still kind of does.
But he never got to have one. So he has mixed feelings.)
He does sort of like the classics though. Mostly the bright, cheery ones.
Not loud in-your-face ones like “All I Want for Christmas Is You”
The gentle ones like “A Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland”.
And “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” of course ;)
(Secretly, his favourite Christmas song is “Grown Up Christmas List”.
Don’t tell anyone. He doesn’t want the others to know he’s an emotional cinnamon roll.)
V:
V likes acoustic covers of Christmas songs.
Ones that have that chill indie feeling with soft guitar and vocals.
He likes looking up covers on YouTube.
He likes them because he feels like they’re more natural and genuine than Christmas songs produced by a studio.
He has a few artists that he especially likes.
He likes classic religious Christmas songs, because they remind him of going to church with Jumin and his family when they were younger.
They sang Christmas songs in the choir together, so he has a lot of good memories attached to those songs.
(Jumin likes them for the same reason, but he didn’t mention in in his section, because. You know. Jingle Cats. He has priorities.)
Vanderwood:
Fuck Christmas by Eric Idle.
…what, you’re expecting more?
Nope.
They have no positive memories of Christmas
And unlike the twins, they’ve never bothered wishing for a happy Christmas.
They know there’s no point thinking about such things, so they don’t bother. Christmas isn’t for people like them, whatever, they accept that.
They’re not in denial they swear.
When they’re with you, they’ll still complain about hearing the same six songs over and over again all the damn time, but they secretly start growing on them now that they have positive memories to associate with the songs.
Whatever your favourite is, that’ll probably end up being their favourite just because it makes you smile.
(They will not tell you this. You can pry this cheesy secret out of their cold dead hands.)

Hewwo?? Can you do RFA+3 with an MC that gets WAYY into the holidays? Like, they constantly have a holiday themed outfit and bakes way too many treats? I'm sorry if it's vague or anything! Happy holidays!
This is me most years. I’m behind this year, I’ve been so busy T_T I shall live vicariously through the MC in this post. Happy holidays!
Zen:
Zen likes Christmas too
But he’s usually too busy to get fully into the holidays.
His job takes priority, and he’s often working on some project through the holidays
He’ll gladly wear any holiday themed outfits with you though
Bonus points if you can find anything couples themed. (Like THIS!)
And anytime you two get together it’s like a Disney Christmas special.
One of you starts singing a Christmas song and of course the other has to join in.
Who needs the radio on when you have this man nearby?
He’ll supply you with as much ambient Christmas music as you need.
He’ll even eat all the Christmas treats, since you’re the one who made them!
Yoosung:
Christmaaaas!
He’s the type of person who would gladly wear one of those ugly Christmas sweaters.
(Especially if it makes you happy.)
But he’s usually too busy or depressed to celebrate it properly.
Not to mention too broke. He has one of those mini Christmas trees in his room because it’s all he can afford T_T
He tries to keep up with you when you’re baking but he just
Can’t.
He mostly just stands by to help you if you need something
And stares at you in awe.
(Both awe of your baking skill and at how much he adores you.)
If neither of you can afford to go as all out with decorations as you want to, you can make some!
Jaehee:
Jaehee has low key dreamed of this type of Christmas.
But Christmas is a busy time at work, and even when she does get time off she’s usually too stressed to do any decorating or baking. She usually just watches Christmas specials on TV.
She comes home one day to find that her house has been completely festive-ized.
Every inch of the house is decorated in garlands and lights
The smell of gingerbread is drifting through the house
A bare, plastic tree sits in the corner next to a box of ornaments
(You wanted to wait and decorate it with her~!)
The second she walks in the room she stops and stares at it all with wide eyes.
(For a moment you wonder if she’s upset with you. You did do all this to her apartment without asking her, after all.)
She’s not mad.
At all.
She loves it.
She finally gets to have a real Christmas!
Jumin:
Jumin’s past Christmases have usually been fairly conservative.
He’s done the basics to honour the holiday in the past. Christmas dinners, exchanging gifts, go to church, the basic traditions like that.
But he’s fascinated to learn about how you celebrate the holiday’s.
(He wants to participate in poor people Christmas with you.)
He takes a day off work
(your relationship is so bad for Jaehee’s health i stg)
and spends the entire day decorating and baking with you.
He’ll even wear a cheesy Christmas outfit, to fully immerse himself in the experience.
He doesn’t get everything right. When you tell him you want to listen to Christmas carols his first response is “I’ll hire a private band"
(You’re like “no dude it’s cool I have Spotify” )
And he doesn’t entirely understand why you have to bake all the cookies yourself when he has a private chef who could make you all the cookies you want
But he’ll do it anyways.
Because his favourite part of Christmas?
Is seeing how happy it makes you.
Seven:
Before he met you, and got his brother back, he was always depressed around Christmas.
But now he has a reason to celebrate and he is making up for lost time.
Not to mention he wants to give Saeran the best Christmas ever
He will match everything you do and more.
He’s not trying to make it a competition it’s just how he is sometimes
You’re wearing a holiday sweater? He’s wearing a whole onesie.
Yours lights up? He wires Christmas lights into his glasses and programs them to flash in time with whatever music is playing.
It hurts his eyes but it’s worth it
You’ve baked six different types of Christmas treats so far? He… well, he set the oven on fire because he took on an overly ambitious project to try and one up you. But still!
He even builds a Christmas tree robot. It has wheels and it’s programmed to play follow the nearest person it finds and roll after them playing Christmas music.
(Saeran has to kidnap it and at least add a clock to the program so the damn thing stops trying to follow him back to his room whenever he gets up in the middle of the night.)
Underneath all of the dramatics and competitiveness, he’s really just doing it because he wants to have a real Christmas and spend time with you.
He wants to participate.
And he wants to do things with you.
Saeran:
Saeran has never had a real Christmas either.
And you are the perfect person to introduce him to the wonders of the holiday season.
Because Saeran has always low key envied the general cheer and energy that others seem to feel during the holidays?
He wants to be a part of that too.
But he’s not like his brother. He can’t just let loose and go crazy. (Social anxiety’s a bitch.)
But he can let himself be dragged into it by you.
He gives some token protests every now and then, but it’s clear he’s enjoying every second of it.
He’ll wear ugly Christmas sweaters with you. Because you asked him to, not because he wants to or anything.
He already likes baking, so he’ll gladly help you out.
(He says it’s because he’s worried you’ll burn the house down or something with all your enthusiasm, but he actually just really wants to bake with you.)
(He also likes sweets, so he’s also more than happy to help you eat them all.)
He actually really enjoys decorating the tree too
You and him and Saeyoung make a bunch of handmade ornaments to put on the tree
(Some of Saeyoung’s creations get vetoed. Nothing that can start fires is touching your tree, idiot.)
He loves decorating the tree with you and Saeyoung. It makes it feel personal. Like its actually his. Like he’s part of it.
V:
When you tell V you like Christmas, he’s like
“Oh, me too!”
He has no idea.
When he says he likes Christmas, he means he enjoys the peaceful feeling and the general aesthetic
Snow falling, soft Christmas-tree-lit pictures and fireplaces, that kind of thing.
You are a whole other level
And V is an enabler.
You found a great new cookie recipe online but you’re out of sugar because you’ve already baked four other great cookie recipes you found online? He buys you more and wishes you good luck on your next recipe.
You want to bake this next batch of cookies but the tarts aren’t done baking yet. He will literally buy you a second oven so you can bake even more sweets.
You’ve been wearing Christmas sweaters every day for the past week but you ran out and now you have to wash them. Don’t worry, he’ll just buy you more to wear until the laundry is done.
He will buy you every single Christmas decoration your local Michael’s has to offer if that’s what you want.
He just wants his love to be happy.
He likes drawing little sketches of you while you work on decorating and baking, trying to capture the light in your eyes as you do something you love.
(He’ll help you too, if you want him to! But he’ll still stop to snap pictures of you every now and then.)
Vanderwood:
Vanderwood has never got to celebrate Christmas.
They’re one of those people who see it as kind of commercialized nonsense tbh?
They don’t get it
It’s not jealousy at all nope
Until they get to participate.
You buy them a Santa hat that has leopard print fuzz instead of white and they just
They’ve never loved anything more in their entire life.
They don’t even care that Seven makes fun of them for it.
You got it for them and it’s theirs and they love it so he can shut it.
They’re never going to be the type of person who decorates a ton or sings carols while baking christmas cookies
But… they kinda like it when you do it.
It’s relaxing.
Domestic.
They could get used to this.

Zen:
Zen can appreciate a good cup of coffee.
He sometimes drinks a cup in the morning if he needs a pick me up.
He tries not to drink too much of it though. He needs to be nice and hydrated to perform well so he tries to drink mostly water.
And beer but we don’t talk about that
He also likes tea though!
Mostly at night. It’s relaxing to sit down and sip a nice, warm cup of tea before bed.
He only has two kinds of tea.
He has a cheap green tea, because of all the ~health benefits~.
And he has some chamomile for when he’s stressed.
(He’s trying to turn to it instead of going to alcohol so often.)
Which means you get to introduce him to all your new fancy teas!
He’s always happy to try new things with you.
Yoosung:
Yoosung is bragging to you one day about his coffee knowledge
(“I was in a coffee club, you know!” he tells you, puffing up his chest.)
He knows how to make latte art!
Well, sort of. The word “art” is debatable, but he can make some pretty shapes.
He can make one for you sometime!
You almost don’t want to rain on his parade.
You do it anyways though. You gotta.
You tell him you have actual taste buds that like real flavours not that bitter burnt tasting crap don’t like coffee and he droops.
…Oh.
You do like tea though.
Oh!
(He’s still a little disappointed about the coffee thing.
How is he supposed to impress you now? T_T)
He doesn’t drink a lot of tea coffee’s cheaper but he’ll make sure to keep some around the house for you! ^^
He also stops by the tea section every time he goes grocery shopping to see what they have.
Whenever there’s something new on sale he buys it right away.
He wants to have a variety at his place for you to try!
It’s also a good excuse for you to come over more often.
One time he found a new brand of oolong tea he’d never seen before. It was almost ten thousand won.
(That’s about ten whole dollars.)
But it’s new and it’s fancy and he’s sure you’d like it.
(He’ll just put the eggs back. He doesn’t need eggs this month. He’ll be fine.)
He’s basically financially supporting your obsession now
He just wants to make you happy okay
Jaehee:
It’s no secret that Jaehee likes coffee.
I mean, Jaehee really likes coffee
And she really likes you too, so she wants to share her interest with you.
When she finds out you don’t like coffee though, she tries to cut back on talking to you about it.
You have to reassure her that of course you still support her passion even though you don’t share it!
Talk coffee to me baby~
You two can still bond over your obsession with drinking hot, (sometimes) caffeinated beverages, even though they’re different drinks!
And she does like tea as well.
She mostly drinks it at night, on days she doesn’t have to pull an all-nighter for work.
She’ll make you tea lattes so you can still experience the joys of latte art!
Jumin:
Oh boy are you in luck.
Jumin also enjoys tea.
(It’s his second favourite drink, after wine, of course.)
And when Jumin loves something that means he becomes obsessive an expert in it.
He knows where to get the best brands for each type of tea.
(Do you prefer light or dark oolong tea, he asks you. He personally prefers dark, but if you like light there’s a specific kind he’s read wonderful reviews of that he can get imported for you.)
He also has memorized perfect amount of time to brew any type of tea, down to the exact second.
He personally prefers his tea black, but if you like anything in yours you can guarantee he’ll remember and get it perfect every time.
He also really likes reading which teas pair best with specific foods.
(Did you know oolong tea pairs well with pancakes?
He does.
It works well since it’s one of the few things he knows how to cook himself.)
Seven:
He will drink anything that gives him the energy to work all night
His caffeinated drink of choice is Dr. Pepper, of course.
Even though it has less caffeine than coffee. That just means he has to drink more of it!
For every cup of coffee Jaehee drinks, he has to drink 3.465 cups of PhD. Pepper.
Yes he did the math
If he really needs the caffeine he can just drink Red Bull Bear
(It’s his favourite because of the potential for “Red Bull Bear gives you wings” jokes)
He’s not the biggest fan of tea?
He’s sowwy >.
He’ll drink it if he has to. Like with coffee, he has to add enough sugar to mask the bitterness though.
But he likes feeling included so when you’re drinking your tea
He pours PhD Pepper into a pretty floral tea cup to drink with you.
He just sits there with you slowly sipping it. Pinky out, of course.
He’s grinning the entire time.
Saeran:
Please do not give the anxious fluff ball anything with caffeine
The first time he drank it his heart sped up and he felt shaky and sick and he thought he was going to die.
He also hates the taste of coffee? It’s too bitter.
And if he wanted something hot and sweet why would he bother trying to drown the bitter gross drink in sugar to make it tolerable when he could just drink something that actually tastes good, like hot chocolate?
And if he needs the caffeine to help him stay awake all night, he can just take caffeine pills for the Convenience™
(Even back in Mint Eye, the caffeine made him anxious and miserable and shaky but it kept him from falling asleep, so)
Now that he’s learning he doesn’t have to suffer and do things that make him miserable, he avoids caffeine altogether.
Tea, though, tea is nice. (Herbal teas, at least.)
Tea doesn’t try to kill you
His favourites are anything fruity and naturally sweet.
He’s open to trying new kinds though. You guys can share your favourites!
If you really want to make him happy, invite him over for tea.
It’s such a stereotypically “normal” thing, in his mind. He’s never been over to someone’s place for tea. He’d love it.
All he wants is a fancy tea party with little cakes just let him have a tea party please
V:
V doesn’t have a strong opinion on tea vs coffee?
(Though if he had to choose between the two, he would probably choose tea too. It’s more… relaxing?)
But when he finds out you like it, you can guarantee he will support you.
Both emotionally and financially.
Sometimes he chooses to drink wine instead of tea, but he always tries to sit down and drink with you at least once during the day.
(You can make him put his wine in a teacup so you can pretend you’re having a tea party)
And he will buy you all the teas you want. And more.
Seriously, this boy is loaded with both money and with adoration for you. You are going to have so many fancy teas.
You’re going to need entire cupboards for the amount of tea this man will buy you I’m not even kidding.
Vanderwood:
