This is my favourite wingfic. This fic really really made me emotional. It's relatively short, but it made my heart ache in a way only few have managed up until now. I would really recomment this fic to anyone, BUT please take a look at the warnings and tags before you start, there are several possible triggers.

John may be predictably average in most things, but there are a handful of areas in which he knows he is uncommonly skilled. He can make a great cup of tea, for one. He's also good at patching folks up, putting bullets precisely where he wants them, and listening. The one skill that John is perhaps most exceptional in, though, is language. John is a polyglot.

Holy Shit. This was hot.

There are many fics out there with Sherlock being a language genius and speaking french, but this was actually the first one I read with John. And really, before I read that I did not have a language kink, I swear. But really this is really good written and I really enjoy having a genius!John from time to time ;)

The Art of Seduction Series by flawedamythyst

Sherlock ran a website called The Science Of Seduction, on which he gave advice on the best ways to get laid, wrote blog entries detailing the results of his various sexual 'experiments' and generally contributed to the stereotype of 'every gay man is a sex-mad playboy'. John avoided the thing like the plague. AU in which Sherlock treats sex like he does crime in canon. Inspired by Queer As Folk UK, but it very quickly went its own way.

I really really love this one! But if you read it please look at the Tags and Warnings. I remember that in one of the chapters are descriptions of violence and torture.
