i decided the dog situation from the 2019 live show was perfect for the fool. both martin and jon have just begun their journey in the magnus institute in that special, plagued only by nativity, some hope and self expectations. also, the dog was too perfect since there is traditionally a dog that accompanies the fool.

also, yes, i know martin said he thought the dog was a spaniel but i headcanon that he doesn’t know his dogs for shit and it was actually a corgi (yeah i put collie before cuz autocorrect and apparently corgi doesn't have an e in it).

oh, yeah, i love that show about an upbeat blonde woman who runs a hotel full of dead people. i really admire how she's trying to help them leave the place they're trapped in and get them into heaven if possible. the mix of dark comedy, sex jokes, and one-liners are great but there are some really heartfelt moments that make me tear up. i think my favorite character is the jazz singing 1920's person of color with an ego. or the flamboyantly gay one. oh, or the chaotic girl who's sanity is questionable but is still oddly likable. or the eccentric british military man. i can't believe they released a season this year. did you know that there is actually another show that takes place in the same universe and has similar themes?
