Sorry, this isn’t Encanto-related, but I was going through some of my stuff in storage and I just had to share this because I know there are Anastasia (musical) fans following me and this continues to make me laugh because it is just so, SO ridiculous and silly.
I saw this show on Broadway and when you bought merch at the theatre, this is the real bag they gave it to you in.

Hey! Just a quick update about me in case anyone is curious: I have fully recovered from COVID, which is great, but my post-sick era seems very much like a deep, dark pit of anxiousness and an EXTREME lack of creative energy. It is a bummer! Right now, I’m just focusing on my day job and trying to be gentle with myself and not launch headfirst into an outright panic over how I’ll never write anything worthwhile again, because that is silly and I’m sure the spark will come back in due time. But it still feels deeply sad and frustrating. 😔
Long story short, I'm popping in with a reblog here and there but that's really all I can mentally manage right now and I’m not sure when I’ll be back to more activity. Hopefully sooner rather than later! Maybe even saying something about this is dumb but I don’t know, I just really care for this little community and the wonderful people in it and I stupidly worry that others will think I’ve left or something. Everything’s fine, my awful brain is just really Not Feeling It right now and i’ve got to wait until it does again. But in the meantime, I’m still quietly around. 💛💛💛

OOO GIRL I was in the middle of reading 20th Century Ghosts a while ago too!! Which story is your favorite so far? :D 💓 -gvr
Ahhh, small world! Looking at the table of contents, I actually think I read all of them but the last one so I was further than I thought. I really enjoyed Pop Art and You Will Hear the Locust Sing. Also, I don't know if I particularly LIKED it, but The Cape gave me that queasy feeling of someone punching me in the chest and knocking the air right out of my lungs in a way that none of the others did. It really stayed with me emotionally for a while. Is that a good or bad thing? Honestly, the line's blurred with horror. 💀 💀 💀

Favourite colour: A tie between pink and yellow! My dream would be to live in a house with pink and yellow accents everywhere, I just can’t get enough of that pink lemonade feel. 🥰
Currently reading: Geez, nothing!? I’m in the worst. I haven’t even read fanfic in a little while. The last book I was reading that I need to return to is 20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill. LOVE short-form horror, can’t get enough of it.
Last song: Really into the song “Hailey” by WRENN right now!
Last series: LOL, I was watching old episodes of Holiday Baking Championship from The Food Network. Is it the holidays? No, absolutely not. Do I find those shows extremely comforting when I just want some noise on in the background??? You bet.
Spicy/sweet/savoury: Probably a tie between sweet and savoury. I do like spicy food but I have the palette sensitivity of a three day old baby and can’t stomach most of it, unfortunately.
Last movie: When my nieces were staying with me, we watched some episodes of classic Powerpuff Girls, which is probably the show that was MOST formative to me as a child by a country mile and shaped who I am today, so the last movie I actually watched was The Powerpuff Girls Movie because I wanted to revisit it!! It is, no joke, in my Top Ten Movies of all Time and CRIMINALLY underrated, to the point that it’s upsetting. Such a good superhero origin story!! The stakes!!! The music!!! The visuals!!! I could gush about it all day even though nobody cares, LOL.
Currently working on: Really not much because I’m still feeling fatigued from COVID which is a bummer. I am slowly working on my Anastasia AU fic but right now, my pace is like, 2-3 sentences a day which is terrible and I’m hoping I can break out of this slump any time now. Just trying to tell myself that a few sentences is better than nothing!!
