Lucius let her lead him out to wherever they were going. "A date it is." A smile spread across his face at that.
As they made it to the bakery, he listened to Sothis' suggestion.
"Chocolate croissants? I haven't had one of those in a while...with honey -that sounds like a good combination." A chuckle left. "I can order one for the each of us...or more if you want..."

"I saw this the other day and thought of you, and then I realized it was your birthday so...I hope you like it."
Sothis hummed happily as she returned the kiss. Her eyes were bright as she peered up at him. “A kiss? You didn’t have to.”
Oh! Inside the box was something beautiful! Fingers grazed over the pendant then she looked up at him. She leaned in to kiss him softly. “It’s beautiful, darling, thank you.”

Lucius moved to hold her hand after she slid off him, and he moved to stand. A chuckle left him as she tugged his hand, looking her int he eye.
"I think getting a snack in town would be a good place to start..." He murmured. "Let's go, then."

Therius paused, thinking. That wasn't a question he usually got, if at all. He usually didn't think of what he could be doing in another lifetime.
"In another life...In another life, I probably didn't leave Lazulis immediately after the war between Lazulis Island and the Gurak Continent ended." He knew why he had to do such a thing at the time - Lazulis was sorely lacking in genuine, real knights, and Therius knew that he had to carry on the work Asthar once did to train them.
"If I hadn't left Lazulis so soon, I probably would've dealt with the current knights at Lazulis Castle and set them to rights. I'm sure Zael and Lady Calista wouldn't mind me doing so." After all, both Zael and Calista were more than aware of the knights being incompetent at their duties. A sigh left him as he closed his eyes.
"If not for General Asthar passing during the war...I think that's probably what would've happened."

Lucius smiled at hearing that. He was glad that she would cherish whatever gifts he got her. "I'm glad...and just having you with me is a blessing, too."
He gave her another kiss, wrapping his arms around her to hold her close. He loved being by her side -he truly did - she made his days a bit happier and brighter.
