「shooting stars」

Yeah yeah, who could have guessed that I am once again adoring a ship that has barely ANY interactions in canon media. Thank tumblr dot com for introducing me to this ship. Haha… Permafrostshipping has been on my mind for a while now and I already did a lot of itty bitty illustrations I never posted because it is such an odd ship. But I deeply adore it, it’s really cute, although its lack in interactions makes it somewhat of a rare ship. But that is okay. It kinda makes me really happy for some odd reason? Like, I love them just being really cozy. Also, the combination of someone that is such a try-hard in appearing cool and someone who is effortlessly cool is just so good. Also,,, they just strike me as silly, but very comfy. I could keep ranting on on why they are my current brainrot rn, but I think I won’t. Unless you want to support me and enable me to talk about my stupid headcanons

I did it! After 4 weeks of doodling, noodling, and caboodling... I finished The Guild.

It's 11x30 inches and I had SUCH a good time making it.

「primrose」

» Mom’s favourite flowers were primroses. She used to plant them in little colorful planters she kept near the window in the living room. They were some of her little joys of daily living. Whenever I see them, I have to think of her. It has been 10 years now since she passed away, and for the longest time I couldn’t look at these flowers without getting sad. One day, when I went to a garden centre, I spotted some pots of white primroses. I felt drawn to them. It ended up with me, buying two plants and fitting planters. Although my little brother was great with plants, that talent never really rubbed off on me. But I will give my best to keep them alive.«

I know, I know, these flowers barely look like primroses, but they were the closest thing I could think of ;_; But no, really, Daisuke has no skill with plants whatsoever, unlike Katsu who has so so many plant babies who are thriving more than their plant dad wwwwwww

That is such a weird thing to say for me but I drew Otori Tsubasa from Beyblade Metal Fusion of all things because I am falling back into my childhood interests lately as a form of reconnecting with a time I can only remember as a time of goodness and joy. I wish it still was like that ngl. He was my favourite character from the show.

「Starry-eyed」

“Whenever I look up to the stars, I am left to wonder, how you’d think of this world; this world that is withered away, unkind to the beings live in it. I wonder, where are you, my brothers? My sisters are always with me, lingering on my mind at all times, even if they vanished a long time ago. It’s heavy on the mind, thinking you have been gone without telling me where you go, and when you come back. I lost hope, you will not come back, you probably perished as well. The memories still keep me living in the past. Memories of Budyšin taking me out on nightly trips to watch the stars in wheat fields around his settlement, sleeping in his car when the sun rises. Memories of Wojerecy showing me the forests and lakes in his area, camping near the bodies of water. And memories of Zhorjelc doing little city trips with me to show me the world. I feel tears pooling in my eyes, as I look up to the stars. I think it is time to go back into the shelter and sleep a bit.”

Just a little doodle of Lusatia. The little story bit here has little to do with the drawing to be honest, but it was what came to mind. I am currently trying to write more stories in a more stream of consciousness kinda way. It helps me to write more, to write quicker. My writing style always tends to be more fixed on the emotions of the character, which might be a bit flawed but I really enjoy reading the thoughts a character has. It just makes me feel more with the character I suppose.

Also, this book was given to me BECAUSE it was already beaten up and pages were missing. I am not destroying completely new books, I only use books that are already kinda old or missing pages.

「Encounter」

›”Well, it was nice seeing you again,” I beamed, seeing my birdlike friend after such a long time. I went over to the shrine in Uprium, haven’t been there in a while. Nero laughed and bobbed his head in agreement: “Thank you so much for visiting me! Stay safe on your way home.” This place was truly magical, with an air of mystery, you could feel the presence of spirits. The shrine was in the middle of the city district, yet confined in shrubs and trees. As soon as you are at the shrine grounds, you feel, as if you are not in a big sprawling megacity but in a small village amidst the woods. I made my way out of the sacred place, I gave a little washing to the stone in the entrance altar, as you do before you leave. When I stepped out of the shrine’s garden, I felt watched. I looked around, no one to be spotted. The only one I saw was a little ginger cat. But strangely enough, it had two tales! I heard about this cat before, a curious critter. A nekomata. On its back sat a little creature. I couldn’t point out what this tiny being was. ”Oh! A kodama!” Nero said behind me in surprise. “They are spirits that inhabit the trees around here!” he added.‹

This is a mess, but I felt obligated to post it because it even has a background! I am currently really obsessed with backgrounds, don’t know why tho. Anyhoo, Maguro’s first encounter with the yokai and kami living around the shrine that Nero works at! I decided to stylise the kodama in the style of Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke, because I got lazy.

“After a long sleepless night of wandering through Kagoshima, we decided to sneak back to my place. It was about 5 am when we arrived at the entrance, you could see the first streaks of colours in the sky that broke through the monotonous blue. The others were sleeping soundly. Aiden and I couldn’t stop giggling to ourselves, the sleep deprivation made us feel like we are on cloud nine. I unlocked the door and we sneaked onto the balcony, watching the sunrise unfold.”

Them <3 I like to imagine they were outside all night and just got back to Katsuro‘s place to watch the sunrise emerge behind the houses. This artwork is really old (I started it on the first of July 2023) but I never finished it until some time ago qwq. So it looks a bit jank, ngl. And idk, I spent 6 hours on it and it was prooooobably not worth it. It was somewhat of a try on a background- it stayed a try tho.

「ＳＣＡＲＦ　ＨＵＧ」

„When we arrived in Berlin, a cold breeze ran through my hair and in my face. We went here because we wanted to experience another season, something, that wasn't summer. We stepped out off the airport, walking to our taxi that will bring us to our hotel. In the car I grabbed Yohei‘s hand, it was cold like ice. In general, I noticed pretty quickly that Yoh was struggling with the cold and wet weather the autumn brought with it. As we took the first small step out off the car I took my scarf and wrapped it around the both of us, forcing us into a gentle embrace.”

THEM!!! I love them so so much. I don’t really know what else to tell you tbh. There is a part of their story where they go to Germany! Travelling around, having fun in a country, locked in eternal autumn. Oh yeah, the story of these two incluse 4 countries that are constantly locked in one of the four seasons. Germany has to live with autumn and Japan with summer for example!

Kabutoshi and Laurynas are some snug bugs in a rug and I love them for that
