The fact that Klaus, the strongest creature to exist in TVDU was obsessed over Caroline, a baby vampire that couldn’t stand him at all and told him right in his face that he’s a loser and she’s beyond his lame and cheesy pickup lines is why i will never shut up about them. He chases after her right after they have a little spat and almost gets hit by a car?? like a million year old vampire like him cared so much about her he paid zero mind to his surroundings?? like no you don’t understand he wasn’t distracted by her, he was CONSUMED.

There is something so precious to me that I adore about Klaroline and it will always make me ship them more than any other pairing involving Klaus.

The fact that Caroline Forbes is just Caroline Forbes.

Sometimes I see the argument that « Klaus’ interest in Caroline is foolish and came out of nowhere ».

But? That’s precisely what I love about them. The fact that he didn’t have any reason to fall for her in the first place. After all, she’s just a high school girl in a small town and a regular vampire he found himself drawn to because of her essence and not because of anything about her that could benefit him in some way.

This proves how his love for her was genuine and how it just can’t be matched. Ever.

She wasn’t from any important lineage. She wasn’t a powerful witch, not a doppelgänger, not some girl with important relatives he could firstly use at his own benefit. Yet, he always thought of her as stronger than anyone else.

She was just Caroline Forbes. A girl who had no choice but to fight for herself and found her strength by her own means. He loved her entirely for that and for nothing else. 🤍

Every time I hear the quote “…she was his Queen. And God help anyone who dared disrespect his Queen” I immediately think of Klaroline

camille or no camille, caroline was always it for klaus. ppl can say he “forgot about her” after camille entered his life all they want but his actions prove them wrong.

it’s as if everyone forgets the letter he gave caroline when he sent her a cheque for the school. he reaffirms the promise of “however long it takes” which shows he always had every intention of being her last love …

the fact that Klaus was in his primary villain era but was so obsessed with Caroline while she was telling him that he was a massive loser and a psychopathic megalomaniac (but who could be saved if he changed) is why the ship is unmatched to me. imagine if she had given him more than a crumb of attention. we never saw him try to woo anyone like that again. he backed off so she could go and live her life how she told him she wanted while he still intended to be her last love. truly unhinged behaviour.

Saw someone complain saying that it made no sense for Frank to call Karen family on the punisher season 1 and that that hug was also out of nowhere which must mean it was all fan service. I was answering but while doing so the post was deleted... so here is what I wrote:

Well she was the only one who cared about what happened to his family and fought tooth and nail for him to get answers and for him to have a reduced sentence.

He started caring about her there and she already cared because she saw something of herself in him (she projected) and understood him. She was obsessed with finding out more about him from the start. And that was not fan service. She thought if he could be saved then so could she. Everyone else thought she was crazy for caring but she knew there was more and she had been through something similar when her brother died. All the lies the town and the local news paper spread because they didn't care to get the real story.

And during the trial and before that she was the only person he would talk to. And that lasted a few weeks. So we can assume they saw each other very frequently during those 3 weeks and had long hours working on his case together. He saved her life more than once and yeah, he used her as bait but it was also to kill the minions going after her. The blacksmith was gonna kill her and he saved her by crashing the car. He put the song in the car first so she would know to keep an eye out. She also spent ALL night at the docks waiting to see if he was there and Matt heard her heartbeat when she thought Frank was dead, meaning he knew she was in love or at least cared a lot about him. That was before "fanservice".

All of this was during Daredevil's season 1. They found a connection through their losses and brokenness. She told him he was a monster because she was talking about HERSELF, again, projecting because she thought if he killed again that meant she wasn't worth forgiving. Even Deborah talked about that. She was just trying to make him stop by any means. If Frank killed the Black smith he was never gonna know the truth about his family. He said he was already dead because he felt like he didn't deserve her help or her compassion. You can see in The Punisher that he isolates himself because he doesn't believe he deserves to be loved. Even curtis says that he can keep pushing people away but it won't stop them from caring. During The Punisher, aside from Curtis, she is literally all he has. The only other person that cares about what happens to him. Believe or not that can mean a lot to someone who's whole family was murdered in front of him and has no one.

Also, the actors pushed for her to be on the show. And even if it is fanservice…. it was well done, their relationship makes sense if you analyze it or at least understand it and I eat it up.
