Small break for me

If you've read some of Tags on posts you've probably noticed that I've been very tired recently and slightly stressed with work. Due to that I'm taking a 2 weeks break. The Waring Family and their story will be back in the next 2 weeks but I just need a breather. Thanks for understanding and have a good weeks.

A picture that I never posted, at least from this view point, but it shows Daphne and Elijah's relationship. I always pictured them being super close, Elijah is the big brother that Daphne adores while Daphne is the little sister that Elijah is very protective of. You gotta remember that Elijah has been a child for the entirety of Daphne's life so he's watched her grow up and he was always looking after her. On to the matter at hand, toddler Daphne was very easy, she liked to explore but unlike Cato never made a mess, she'd walk around and play in the snow. But she also had the sleepy toddler trait (mod) so she was only up for like half the day and then be angry because she was tired. Elijah as child, on the other hand, has probably been my favorite time so far, getting off the farm and making friends was super fun. Elijah was also super sweet, autonomous helping around and cleaning was so super helpful. Fun fact, I know their age up was on the same post but actually Daphne aged up a day before Elijah so there was a moment in game where I had four child.

Elijah is out in the town doing chores for his parents. It's when he's leaving one of the shops that he sees a sight that surprises him. It's Cela, one of his old school friends and she seems just as excited to see him as he is her.

The two of decide to talk as they continue walking to their next duties. Cela tells Elijah about how she's continued with her schooling and about her mother's going as the town's seamstress. She even has a few stories of their friend's adventure that Elijah has missed.

Elijah tells Cela why he decide to quit school and also mentions that his sibling would be going to school with her, he asks her to keep a safe eye on them. He also mentions that with all the chores need to be done and his aging parents a lot of responsibility falls on his shoulders as the oldest. It's nice finally being able to talk to someone, Cela doesn't seem to judge Elijah and even comforts him over his decisions.

Both know that they need to separate to continue with jobs but they've enjoyed talking to one another too much. It's been so long since they've last seen each other and neither want to say goodbye. They spend as much time talking to each other before they finally say goodbye. As Elijah walks away he can't hope but see Cela again.

After aging up Daphne joins the twins at school. Most the students are close in age to the twins and Daphne but there are students that took class with Elijah. The Waring kids all take being in different ways.

Cato tends to stay inside, after his health scares he tends to stay inside playing chess. It's lonely watching his siblings play with their friends but Cato tries to convince himself it's for the best. It doesn't always work.

Casper on the hand is enjoying school, he's managed to make some friends. Isaiah and Lucinda are very adventurous and are always have something fun to do. Casper finds himself more happy than ever before.

Daphne also made a friend in Phillis. It's the first friend she's ever made and it's the most fun she's ever hand. It's nice finally hanging out with a girl for once after being surround in a house full of guys.

It's not longer after Spring starts when Daphne's birthday hits. With the help of her mama, Daphne blows out the candles and becomes a child.

With Daphne becoming a child, she'll be helping her mother around the cabin and property. Daphne is a bit annoyed that she still has to keep up with schoolwork, housework, and even farm work. To Daphne it's not fair, but her mother reminds her that it's what happens for becoming a women and one day her skills will be needed when she has a family of her own.

The day after is Elijah's birthday. The eldest Waring child blows out his candles and becomes a teenage.

After becoming a teenage, Elijah makes the hard decision to discontinue his education to not only help out around the farm more but also to get a job. He hopes with the extra income coming in his sibling won't have to make the same decision as he did.

Moments in game that are too weird to post but made laugh out loud. On the left is a stinky Cato making a mess (that he autonomously did all the time wtf is wrong with this child gods help me) and on the right is Apollo with his weird ass teeth (he aged up like that & I always forgot to fix it), I was posing him and he did this glitchy movement which spooked me.

Weird bug that only happened to Daphne. If I zoomed out to far those glasses would appear on her. It only happened her and not the boys so I'm not sure if a gendered bug or a one time thing. Has this happened to anyone else?

Here's a very recent game picture. This was from in game New Years Eve and they just pulled those drinks from out of nowhere. Confusing but also lowkey funny.

The snow begins to melt as Spring hits. The family embraces the change in season.

Ishmael, Elijah, and Casper start cleaning the field so the incoming crops can grow healthy. After working by himself for so long, Ishmael is amazing by how fast the work gets done with three sets of hands. Elijah loves the new weather, it's a breath of fresh away after the cold, snow-covered winter.

Sable is no longer confined to the cabin with the children growing up, Daphne the only she keeps a close eye to. Daphne is happy to follow her mama around, playing with the toy Elijah gave to her for Winterfest.

Cato is left to his own devices. His parents worry about his health, especially with the change of seasons so they make him stay close to cabin. He find himself lost in book, trying to forget about his health and how it makes him stand out against his siblings.

Back at farm, Elijah finds himself taking on my duties, especially with the animals. Elijah is proud that his parents trust him enough to handle the animals himself, he even finds himself teaching some of his skills to Daphne. She's very excited meeting all the animals.

The twins, after aging up, live very different lives. Casper helps with the animals, he tends to get stuck cleaning the coop and shed. Cato, on the hand, s stuck inside, Sable and Ishmael agree that he's too weak to be able to properly help. So Cato spends a lot of time writing his thoughts down in his notebook.

Sable and Ishmael are left with more free time due to the winter and also with their children growing older. Sable find herself cleaning the cabin, it has gotten more dirty with more people coming in and out. Ishmael is able to make woodwork, happy to be able to work on something once more.

After Winterfest Sable is finally able to sell the jars. With her children finally being old enough where she no longer has to spend so much time at the cabin. Hopefully she'll be able to make some extra money. No stores agree to her jar so in the end, she sets up a table outside the town's post office.

Elijah and Daphne decide to go with their mother, while the twins stay back with their father. Though there isn't much to do after helping their mother set up the table of goods. At first the children sit on the steps of a nearby church before getting bored. Elijah ends up asking his mother if he and Daphne can explore, she agrees but tells them to be cautious.

As the children go off to explore, Sable gets her first customers. She's able to sell three jars for 20 simoleons each. She's relieved to know she won't be going home empty handed.

Sable is even able to sell her jars to a wealthy women. The women giving her a few extra simoleons as tip. Desdemona shows up and buys a jars herself. Her and Sable catch up with one another, talking about their children and spouses.

Daphne and Elijah end up at the pier. Elijah explains to Daphne about the town they live in, even giving he lift so she can better view. Daphne is amazed by the view and by her brother's knowledge. The two of them bond over their time spent together.

As the day come to a close Elijah and Daphne return to their mother and Sable closes up shop. And while she didn't sell every jar, she was able to make 160 simoleons, a good amount to give the family a bost.

So remember how I spent a lot time worried about Cato and his health, well he was a perfectly healthy toddler but what I should've been worried about is him being a troublemaker. Do you know how many times he autonomous made a mess?! So help me, that little boy gave me so much grief cleaning up after him. Casper on the other hand was a sweetheart, I honestly don't know if he did anything autonomous (I wasn't really paying attention). Casper just stuck inside the cabin, while Cato was more likely to explore. Despite all this somehow Cato is my favorite twin! I feel bad especially for having favorites but it just feels like Cato has more of a personality (maybe it's just a bigger/louder personality). They are still growing up so I might end up changing my mind. Elijah is technically the heir so he's my main focus but I'm excited for what the twins will get into. Also the twins are identical twins (other than Cato's birthmark) which is awesome and I recently found out has a low chance in game. See you guys next time! (*￣3￣)╭

Despite being low on cash, the family manages to gather enough money for a family portrait. They take it out in the cold but it's worth it. Sable and Ishmael are proud to be able spare enough money for the portrait. It' a wonderful picture and moment for the family.

The day of Winterfest starts very nice for for the family. Sable starts cooking a fish grand meal for the family, while Elijah and Daphne entertain her with their stories and questions.

The family agreed to do a small gift exchange. The twins exchange toys as gifts. Sable gifts Ishmael new boots while Ishmael gifts Sable a new winter dress.

It's evening when the family starts eating the grand meal prepared by Sable. There's not enough sits for the entire family to sit together so in the end Sable stands to side eating her meal. She doesn't mind, just happy to see her family happy and well feed.

It's late when Elijah is finally able to give Daphne her gift. He gifts her a doll, he was able to make with Cela's help. Daphne isn't able to gift much but the hug she gives Elijah is worth a thousand simoleons. And with that Winterfest closes on high note.

Finally managed to make a lookbook for the Waring legacy! So the goal for Elijah's lookbook was that for lower income family. Remember that the Waring family is a struggling sharecropper family so the clothes they wear is less fashionable and more for work. The formal wear would be the most expensive clothing and it's only for when the family goes to church. I don't know who'll do next, maybe Sable. The day of Winterfest also happens to be the twins birthday. It's a double celebration, the twins blow out their candles and become children!

Becoming children means when Spring comes around there'll be extra hands around the farm, both are excited to help. But for now they'll enjoy the winter season and the break it comes with. Cato also seems to be entering childhood with his birthmark. The twins and their family are delighted to be soon celebrating Winterfest.

The family gets ready ready for Winterfest. Elijah and his parents set up a Winterfest tree that were lucky to get from a family. The family will only be doing a small celebration, money is still tight for the family.

The toddlers are too young to help with setting up the tree so instead they play. Daphne is happy to explore the world while the twins talk and walk with each.

Elijah is in charge of getting his sister a gift. He's not sure what to get her, at school he tells Cela about his dilemma. With her help he is able to make gift that Daphne will love.

Daphne aged up and has become an adorable toddler. But remember how I said the twins were difficult to take care of? Well so was Daphne but in a completely different way. I'm not sure if it was because she had the calm infant trait but Daphne never cried, the amount of times I forgot to feed her or change her diaper is messed up. I did manage to get her more milestones completed than the twins though but her calm trait really did shine through. Daphne is probably my favorite after Elijah (it's totally not because she's a girl, so I'm curious about how she'll be as she grows. Can't wait to more from her.

Cela looking very unimpressed by Elijah. Sometimes it feels like the game can read my thoughts and then the Sims act the way I want them to. I love these two and the interactions between them in game, gives me ideas of their relationship.(￣y▽￣)╭ ohohoho... Cela is probably one of my favorite sims from outside the family and she's very pretty, I'm excited to hers and Elijah's relationship develop. See y'all next week!
