Throwing yourselves into work had proven to be very physically and mentally draining for your family, Natasha was unable to think of talk about anything other than work and was getting stressed, Maria had obtained an injury to her left side so had been on bed rest, and you hadn't dropped or relaxed for a day in month.

Maria wasn't due back in work for another two days but she didn't need to be on bed rest and felt fine so decided to go into work early, that was until she saw you. You hadn't fallen asleep until 3am and Maria had woken you up by accident at 6am, she couldnt remember the last time you got five hours sleep nevermind the recommended 8. Your eyes had bags under them and were red from where you kept rubbing them, it broke her heart.

She knew you would stay up and wait for her to get home if she did go in so she had no choice but to skip past her uniform and grab her comfy clothes. You couldn't help but get a little excited when you saw it. Were you really going to have the day together?

"If we do this today you are going to drop and let me take care of you and you are going to take a nap. We are going to cuddle on the couch and have a movie day and you are going to relax. Understood?" You nodded, you knew there was no room to say no. Maria was deadly serious and while you weren't thrilled at the idea of taking a nap you knew it was what you needed. Maria always have you what you needed, whether you liked it or not.

However, there was one thing you could try and change about her plan. All it would take was some puppy dog eyes. "Maria? Can we pleeaasee call natty and ask her to come back?" She chuckled a little before nodding. "I'll call her, she needs some rest too. And I bet my baby misses their mama." You codnt help but blush at that to which Maria called you adorable only making you more whiny and shy but she loved it.

"do I get cuddles with my little one now or do I have to wait for mama to get home?" Maria asked dialing the number. "wait for mama." You said quietly looking at the floor, you could feel yourself slipping into headspace a little bit you didn't really want to till Nat got here. You zoned out for a little and by the time you stopped the phone call was over.

"she's going to call in sick, she should be here soon, why don't we get you dressed for the day and make a comfy spot on the couch." You agreed so were soon dressed in a onesie and had an outrageous amount of stuffies and blankets on the couch. Maria left you to the task while she cleaned up a little and when she saw it her mouth fell open.

"wow baby, that definitely looks comfy, are you sure we need this many though?" You nodded, Maria saw how happy it made you so just let it slide.

"Hey my loves! I'm back!" You turned to see Nat standing there with a pizza box in her hand which she knew to throw down when you came running over for a hug, you jumped into her arms and she caught you with a smile. "Hi my baby." You snuggled into her with a huge smile. "Hi mama."

"really Natasha, you brought pizza for breakfast?" Nat nodded. "We deserve a treat. It's just for one day masha."

"I know, but pizza isn't for breakfast." You giggled, they were always arguing over things like that, they rarely ever shouted or raised their voices it was just bickering over small things. It was nice to have such loving people around you finally.

"Do you want pizza for breakfast detka?" You nodded excitedly, "sorry babe, two against one. Pizza for breakfast!!" She cheered earning a chuckle from Maria, she always lost those little arguments but she never minded... Not really it made you and Natasha happy and that was worth bending the rules for.

"mama! I wan hugs!" You whined getting impatient, movie days and cuddles were your favourite thing, especially after a rough week and you couldn't wait for it any longer. "You two get comfy and pick a movie l will plate up some pizza and get some drinks."

"It's okay Masha, I can do it, you relax." Natasha smiled slightly but maria stopped her. "Babe, it's okay, you've not taken a break in ages. You looked after me the past few weeks it's my turn to help you. You need the rest so go snuggle our baby and I'll be there in a minute." The brunette whispered in her ear, the russian smiled, giving in to her demands.

"come here baby." Natasha picked you up and carried you over to the couch with all your stuffies and snuggled up next to you under the blanket. She got your favourite movie ready and you both sat whispering to each other and giggling while you waited for the agent to get back. When she finally did, after 5 whole minutes, you pulled her down to sit the other side of you creating the perfect snuggle sandwich.

By the end of the movie both you and Nat were fast asleep, Maria smiled, standing up to tuck you both in and miss your foreheads before whispering, "I love you both so much" and taking her seat again.

Laura's relationship with Clint is getting serious, so she wants to introduce the two most important people in her life to eachother.

Clint thinks its a joke to start with, but then Maria shows up sucking her thumb and cuddling her blanket, scared of the 'meanie head' in their apartment.

The three of them end up watching Thomas the tank engine , cuddling on the sofa.

"Maria? Sweetheart? Can we talk about something?" Laura asked the brunette who looked up from her colouring book with a nod. She sat up from her previous lying down on the floor position and anxiously waited for her caregiver to start talking.

"I was hoping we could talk about Clint, you remember I told you about him?" Maria nodded, Clint was Laura's boyfriend of almost a year, Maria knew it was getting serious and it made her extremely nervous. It meant things were probably going to change and there was a nagging thought in the back of her mind that Laura would leave her for him or at least love Clint more.

"You don't need to be upset, if you're not ready to talk about this it is okay." Laura didn't want to push the girl into anything she was uncomfortable with. "I'm ok, but it's scary." Laura nodded, "I understand, I just wanted to ask you something. Well, me and Clint have spent a lot of time together recently and you are the most Important people in my life and I want you two to get to know each other." Maria nodded slowly, "okay I'll do it." She smiled trying to hide her fear but of course Laura saw right through it, she always did.

"Baby, come here." Maria smiled climbing up on the couch and snuggling into her caregivers arms. "I just want you to know, no matter what happens I love you more than anything and I'm never ever leaving you."

"never ever ever!" Maria exclaimed making them both laugh. "That's right. Never ever ever, so you can stop worrying, I promise. You do however need to go for a nap sleepy girl." Maria didn't always need naps but she slept terribly the night before and put it off so she could carry on colouring and playing. "Kay mommy." she sighed, rubbing her eyes.

The two walked off together and brushed their teeth and the little got dressed in her character pyjamas and jumped into bed with her special blanket and teddies. "Do you want a bedtime story? Or two knowing you." Maria nodded pointing to her two favourites.

Half way through the second Maria fell asleep, she kissed the littles head before getting up to leave. A loud knock at the door made her cringe, she looked over at Maria anxiously but luckily she didn't stir.

"Hey, thank you for inviting me over. What did you want to talk about?" Clint smiled, kissing Laura's cheek. "I wanted to talk to you about my roommate." Laura said nervously, leading him to the couch. "Maria? What about her?"

"Well she's not just my roommate, she's uh.. I um... look after her." Clint nodded along, still confused. "Okay I'm just gonna say it. She sometimes regresses to the mindset of a child when she's stressed or upset because of trauma and I help her. I'm her mommy and she's my little."

The archer laughed a little and turned on the TV. "Yeah okay." He dismissed, smiling to himself. Laura didn't know how to react so she just sat there, in her own thoughts.

They had just finished a movie when Laura noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Maria had woken up from her nap, and was stood waiting anxiously blanket in had and thumb in her mouth.

"hey baby, did you have a good nap?" Clint was alerted to the brunette's presence and when he saw Maria hill the top shield agent cuddling a blanket he couldn't help but laugh. Laura shot him a warning look. "I had good nap." The little said quietly earning a smile from her caregiver. "I'm glad baby, do you wanna come sit next to mommy?"

Maria shook her head and shuffled nervously she didn't like new people in her home, this was supposed to be her safe space but right now she didn't feel very safe around him. She wanted to cry when he laughed at her or gave her strange looks, she just wanted him to go so she could have cuddles with Laura.

"why not sweetheart?" Laura asked softly, Maria pointed at clint. "He a meanie head." Laura sighed and walked over, picking Maria up. "I didn't know... I'm sorry Maria. I thought Laura was joking and I just wasn't expecting this. I didn't mean to laugh at you."

"see baby, do you think we can at least go say hi to him?" She asked softly, Maria gave a small nod, Laura sat down on the couch next to him with Maria on her lap. "hi." The little whispered behind her thumb. "hey kiddo, we were gonna watch another movie. Is there anything you like to watch?"

"Thomas!" Maria exclaimed with a giggle. "Thomas the tank engine is her favourite cartoon. She has story books of it and everything."

"Maybe we can read one together later." Clint suggested as he searched for the cartoon. Maria nodded with a smile, maybe he wasn't such a meanie head after all.

"Hey y/n guess what your favourite daddies got for you!" Bucky sang walking in with two large shopping bags, steve following behind with another.

However they were met with the sight of you curled up on the bed groaning in pain. Bucky immediately dropped the bags and walked over to the couch where you were laying in agony.

"Doll? Are you alright?" You shook your head writhing around feeling like you were being repeatedly hit in the stomach. "Hurts."

"How long has it been hurting?" Steve asked when he'd moved the shopping from the floor to the counter. "Jus after you left." Bucky and Steve shared a worried glance, they hadn't seen you in this much pain since... maybe ever.

"This could be something serious, maybe we should get someone to take a look hm? Just to check you're doing okay." You gave him a worried glance. "No wan."

"I agree Buck, we can't let them go out like this. They could get something else and I don't think it's a good idea to take them somewhere unfamiliar and scare them."

"Sam told me about an app where you can get them to come to you and if that fails we could always try Bruce." Steve agreed so he stayed with you whilst bucky arranged the doctors appointment.

"He said it will be around an hour." Steve nodded before laying down next to you, you eventually managed to cuddle up close without aggravating your stomach. "Daddy im scared. No like doctors."

"I know baby, but we need to make sure you're nice and healthy, okay? Me and Dada will protect you." After some cartoons and snuggles Bucky answered the knock on the door. "Baby this is Dr Alex can she come and take a look at you?" You saw a woman stood next to him, she seemed really friendly and your caregivers were there so you nodded.

"Why don't you sit with Bucky y/n and I will hold your hand." Steve suggested making you nod, Bucky sat down beside you, pulling you into his lap. "they're little right now, I hope that's okay." Bucky sighed and the woman nodded. "Of course, whatever makes them more comfortable." You couldn't help but smile at that she seemed nice, maybe you could trust her just a little.

"So y/n I've heard you have been having some stomach pain?" She asked sitting opposite you. "Mhm." You replied looking away. "anything else? Fever? Nausea?" Steve shook his head squeezing your hand a little to prove he was still there.

"Okay, do you mind if I take a look?" She asked making you nod nervously. "Alright, I can see some bruising around here." Her fingers touched it slightly making you hiss. "I know I'm sorry, well I think it's mostly likely just a pulled muscle, have they been doing anything strenuous recently?"

"They've been training a lot recently, I can't believe we didnt think of that." Alex gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about it, I'm glad you called me out. It's always best to get it checked out rather than assume it's nothing. It seems quite severe but it doesn't require surgery which is good." Bucky sighed with relief hearing that and kissed the top of your head. "You did so good."

"They need plenty of rest and to avoid doing anything strenuous for 4-6 weeks, and I recommend ice packs and heat packs to helo witb the swelling along with some ibuprofen but other than that there's nothing else we need to do." Steve nodded looking at bucky, they both knew it was going to be hard to get you to stay still for 4-6 weeks. If you weren't training in your big headspace you were running around playing with your daddies.

"Thank you Dr Alex, let me show you out." Steve smiled shaking her hand before opening the door for her. "Bye y/n. Thank you guys." She smiled back at Steve and Bucky before leaving. "See kiddo that wasn't too bad." You glared at him.

"alright, I know, it's gonna be hard to stay in bed and rest but it's what your body needs and you can get all the cuddles you could ever want." You gave him a small smile at that. "We love you kiddo and we are so proud of you. You were so brave today." Steve grinned kissing your forehead making you giggle.

Maybe spending all that time in bed cuddling wouldn't be so bad after all.

Driven away (Male y/n x Kate x yelena)

I met Kate almost a year ago and it took me a while to admit but I definitely liked her a lot. I eventually got enough courage to ask her out, but it didn't go exactly as I thought it would.

"Hey Kate, can I talk to you about something?" She stopped what she was doing and looked up at me with a smile. "Yeah sure." She smiled, pausing the tv and moving up so I could sit next to her.

“So I just wanted to say thanks for letting me stay here, and I hope nothing changes if you don’t feel the same because it’s alright, but I like you, a lot.” She seemed completely taken aback which made me panic that she didn’t feel the same, I knew I shouldn’t have said anything to her. “Sorry you can forget I said anything.” I went to stand up but she pulled me back. “I like you too y/n.” She smiled softly. “I’m sorry it’s just not what I was expecting, I was figuring out a way to tell you but now, I don’t have to.”

“So I guess we are dating now?” I said still in disbelief, “yeah, we can turn our friends dinner into a date tonight if you want?'' Kate offered, eating a piece of popcorn. "If you give me some of that popcorn then yes." I smirked. "Okay but you have to catch it this time." She lined up her shot a few times before throwing a piece in my direction only this time it hit me straight in the eye. "Kate! You're supposed to be an archer! How do you have such a bad aim?" I chuckled, throwing it back at her.

"Maybe I just wanted it to hit you, okay that was a practice, you'll get it this time." She said lining up her shot again this time it landed perfectly in my mouth. "Okay now I've worked for it." I leaned forward, snatching a handful of popcorn. "Thanks." I grinned at her stunned face. "Oh that's how we're playing now?" She chuckled, throwing another at me. "Yeah." I smirked before throwing the handful at her.

"Hey! I'm gonna go eat my popcorn in peace." She frowned, walking off before "tripping" and throwing the bowl on me and bursting out laughing. "Oh I hate you so much." I chuckled, dusting it all off. "You are clearing this up after I kill you."

"Wait, you got popcorn in your hair." She said before putting the bowl on my head and running away. "Kate!" I yelled running after her. "I have to get ready for tonight." She excused slamming the bathroom door and locking it behind her.

I chuckled to myself before leaving to get a shower as well. After 30 minutes we were both ready. "You look really beautiful." I smiled looking her up and down. "Thank you, these are my favorite pajamas." she chuckled, I let out a cough and gestured to my matching outfit. "Oh yeah you look good too." I smiled before running and jumping on the couch. "Okay, I'm picking the first movie, and I'll order us some pizza." I stated, pulling out my phone, "Okay but I am choosing the next one." She sighed sitting next to me. “Fine by me.”

We had dated for a few months and everything was going great. I'd regress whenever she left to go fight bad guys or annoy Clint then when she came back we’d eat dinner and watch a movie or three then go to bed. It became a routine, I started regressing even more and while I was anxious she would find out the other half of me kinda hoped she would in the case that maybe she would be okay with it and be my caregiver, those feelings only doubled when she walked in on me stuck in my headspace.

I knew she would be coming home soon so I had to hide my teddy bear and comfort items but not having them and being stuck in a small headspace just made me upset. I tried just sitting and watching tv with my blanket, what could be suspicious about having a blanket wrapped around you when you’re watching a movie?

But it didn’t bring me as much comfort as I had hoped and I started to cry.

“Hey babe! I am home!” Kate exclaimed walking in, as soon as she saw me her face dropped. “Baby what happened, are you okay?” I shook my head no and she frowned sitting next to me. Do you wanna talk about it or just cuddle? Or both?” I held out my arms and she nodded. “Okay hang on.” She took the blanket off me for a second which didn’t help my mood but she laid on the couch and opened her arms. “Come here baby.”

I laid down with my head on her chest as she played with my hair. “Do you want to talk about it? I’m here if you do.” I shook my head, feeling her stop running her hands through my hair for a second to lay the blanket over us. “That’s okay, we can stay like this as long as you need.” She kissed the top of my head before playing with my hair again, this time rubbing my back at the same time. I could feel myself start to calm down, I felt completely safe with her, she didn’t care that I stayed there for the rest of the night, she got her friend Yelena to drop off food, put on a movie then we fell asleep for a while.

“Hey bishop! I got pizza, because it’s all I have seen you eat so I didn’t know what you like. oh that is disgusting.” She frowned, covering her eyes. “Yelena, we’re just cuddling because y/n was sad.” Yelena sighed with relief putting her hands back down. “Okay, I thought it was something else, I just saw the blanket. Sorry, why is he sad?”

“I don’t know, he doesn’t want to talk about it but it doesn’t matter anyway, I’m getting all the cuddles I want so it’s good.”

“Can I sleep here tonight? And for a week more than that” Yelena asked before heading to the kitchen to make herself mac and cheese. “Y/n why don’t we share a room then we can keep the spare room for when yelena comes over. If that’s okay?” I did sleep more in kates room anyway, I only hid in that room when I regressed to save time before she found me but I could find another way. Yelena is kate’s friend after all and she did let me stay here first. “Okay.”

“Thank you baby.” Kate smiled, kissing the top of my head. “Yeah thank you y/n, do you want some macaroni?” Yelena asked, holding out the pot, “no thank you, we’re good with pizza.” Kate answered for me, making us chuckle. “Okay you’re missing out on my delicious macaroni but okay.”

I wasn’t feeling so little anymore, if anything I was just tired, so I decided to get ready for bed. “Babe I’m gonna go get the spare room ready for yelena then I will head to bed, I’m kind of tired.” I smiled getting up, “okay, goodnight Y/n.” Kate replied before focusing her attention back to the movie.

When I woke the next morning, well afternoon, Kate wasn’t next to me, I walked out to find her asleep on the couch, somehow she stayed asleep even with the sound of clattering from the kitchen that I could only assume was yelena.

“Hello y/n, good morning. You sleep a lot, although bishop does too. She's been asleep for like seven hours already.

I frowned slightly, it was 12pm, Kate would have gone to bed at 5am, a fact that I couldn’t help but feel slightly disappointed to hear. After all she promised she would come to bed once her movie had finished yet she had stayed up with yelena all night. I shook off my disappointment before leaving the apartment for the day.

Things like this happened for weeks and I began to get even more tired of it. When I arrived back home late one day they were both gone, when I texted Kate she told me they went to go see the christmas tree and if I wanted I could join but I told them it was fine. I decided to take the time to be little for a while before falling asleep in my room.

Kate woke me up the next morning, “hey baby, me and yelena are gonna go get some breakfast. Do you want to come or should I bring you something back?” I rubbed my eyes and sat up, I realized I was still cuddling my teddy bear from the night before." I threw it aside and prepared for her to get mad or call me names, that was the usual response people had, I was still feeling kind of little and soon my eyes were getting blurry with tears. Kate didn’t say anything but she sat down on the bed and rubbed my arm. "Babe, why are you getting upset? It's just a teddy bear." She said softly and I frowned. "You don't think I'm stupid?"

“Of course not, you know I love you no matter what. Who’s your friend?” She asked picking up the stuffed animal I had next to me.

“That's ted. I've had him since I was a toddler.” Kate smiled. “Nice to meet you Ted. Do you and y/n want to come to breakfast with me and Yelena or do you want to stay here?” She asked, looking at me. “We're gonna stay. I'm kinda tired.” I said, taking him back. “Okay babe, I will see you later.” She smiled, kissing the top of my head and leaving with the russian.

I had decided on watching Tv so I went to the living room where I must have fallen asleep again. Whenever I was little I always fell asleep so easily.

"Hey y/n!" "Hey baby!" I heard the women call out, waking me in the process. I whined sitting up. "Hey my little sleepyhead." Kate smiled, kissing my cheek and sitting down next to me. "Here's your breakfast. I forgot to ask what you wanted so I just got your favorite."

"Thanks Kate." I smiled. "No problem."

"You wanna watch a movie with me?" I asked pointing to the tv, it was my favorite movie and I was really hoping she would say yes.

"Oh, Sorry y/n we have plans today. You can come with us if you want? But we won't be back until dinner." I could feel my eyes filling with tears. "I'm sorry baby, please don't cry." Kate whispered softly.

"You Americans are so sensitive, its funny." Yelena chuckled but it only made me cry more, I ran out of the room and climbed into bed with my teddy.

I heard kate knock on the door before entering. "Baby I am sorry. I already had plans with Yelena. And she didn't mean to be rude, it's just how she is. Can I do anything to cheer you up?"

I wanted to tell her to stay but instead I just shook my head. "Okay, I have to go now but can you at least eat some more breakfast?" She asked, putting it on the bedside table. "I love you baby." She whispered before leaving the room.

I laid in bed and sobbed till I fell asleep. When I woke up it was lunch time, I wasn't hungry so I decided to watch movies till they got back. When I heard her keys in the door I turned off the tv and ran to the bedroom. I didn't want to see her right now, it may be childish but I climbed into bed and pretended to be asleep.

She didn’t even come to look for me so I just stayed in bed on my phone for a few hours until she eventually walked in. “Baby? Are you okay?” I nodded, turning away from her, making her sigh. “Me and yelena are gonna watch another movie if you want to join.” I shook my head hiding under the blanket. “Okay, well if you change your mind you can join us.” She said disappointedly, leaving the room.

It continued on like this for weeks, she even forgot our date night, then the one we rescheduled all because she was out with Yelena everyday now. I knew she was allowed friends and I didn’t want to come between them but I couldn’t help but feel a little rejected. I had finally had enough when I woke up one morning and found Yelena and Kate asleep on the couch together. I was sick of feeling so replaceable so I left without saying anything or even a text. I went shopping for a few hours then kept walking for a while until I got tired and sat down on a random bench.

I turned my phone back on to listen to some music and saw I had over 20 missed calls from both Kate and Yelena, along with a ton of texts that ranged from Yelena saying she would track my phone to Kate begging me to call her back. Before I could think it through I pressed call back and waited for it to ring, Kate answered almost immediately. “Baby! “Tree.” I hiccuped through my sobs, “He’s at the big christmas tree.” I heard Yelena say in the background. “But that’s where we are." I looked around hopefully before I spotted yelena running towards me. "Lena!" I yelled and she finally saw me. Kate was following behind and she ran and gave me a hug. "Baby! We were so worried about you." She kissed my head a bunch of times, making me giggle.

"Why did you leave?" Kate asked, lifting my chin. "Katie loved Lena more an it makes me sad." Yelena gives me a confused look. "You are a little?" I look at the floor and nod in shame but Kate lifts my chin again. "I'm sorry baby, I will never let you feel that way again, from now on I'm not letting you out of my sight."

"Hey kiddo, what if we go get you some ice cream to say sorry? And we can go home and watch all the movies you want." I nodded excitedly, wiping my tears. "Okay let's go home." Kate smiled, grabbing my hand.

"Tanks for saving me mommy." Kate smiled down at me. "Of course baby. I will always be here to protect you."

Babysitting is hard (Nat tony x y/n)

A/n: i did gn reader pov, hope that's still okay, its just easier for me to write gn reader bc I'm used to it.

warnings: age regression, little reader, daddy Steve, Nat and Tony babysitting.

"Okay kiddo be good for everyone and give daddy a hug, I have to go now." You ran up to Steve wrapping your arms around him. "Bye y/n." You gave him a small wave and walked back over to Natasha.

"Are you ready to have a fun day with your favourite aunt?" She asked holding out her hand. You gave an enthusiastic nod, taking her hand with a huge grin. "Do you want some breakfast?" You shook your head at her question. "I wanna play I'm not hungry."

"Okay we can play a game of hide and seek but then you have to eat something." Nat compromised, covering her eyes. "1... 2!" You panicked running out of the room as fast as you could, you ran into Steve's room and crawled underneath his bed.

After a few minutes Nat walked into the room. "Wow y/n is so good at hiding I wonder where they could be, they definitely won't be under Steve's bed but maybe I should look anyway. Maybe there's a monster under there." You couldn't help but giggle at her words. "Hmm it sounds like there is, come out little monster I found you." You slid out at the other side before running out the door.

"You have got to be kidding me." Nat chuckled getting up. "Y/N get back here!" She heard your giggles echoing down the corridor, she ran out after you, seeing you hiding behind Tony.

"Y/n come on it's way too early for this, why don't I put a movie on for you?" you shook your head making her sigh. "I give up."

"Come on Romanoff it can't be that hard." Tony chuckled taking a sip of his coffee.

"Ok Mr little expert, why don't you give it a try?" Tony scoffed turning to you. "Hey kiddo, how about some breakfast hm?" You nodded pointing to the cereal on the top shelf. Steve never let you have any because it had too much sugar, and as the two avengers were about to find out you and sugar didn't mix very well.

"Okay I can do that." He smiled. "Here hop up on the counter while your favourite uncle gets your breakfast." He helped you onto the island and you sat there kicking your legs happily.

"See romanoff it's not that hard." Tony smirked grabbing the milk, Nat playfully rolled her eyes watching you reach for something next to you.

"Ugh das yuckies." You frowned putting down the genius' drink.

"You didn't." Tony frowned looking in his coffee cup. "The little monster drank my coffee." He shook his head playfully, giving you a smile. After all who could be mad at you?

"Okay little one that is enough caffeine for one day." Nat chuckled placing you on the floor. "Let's go eat this in front of the tv, just don't tell Steve." She grabbed your hand and lead you over to the living room.

After breakfast Natasha had to go train so she went to find Tony to babysit you for a while. You arrived in his lab but the genius was no where to be seen so Natasha decided to just let you play around until he came back.

"Natty wook." You giggled putting on Tony's helmet. "Steve is noyying i hate everyone. I need coffee." You mocked the genius making Nat smile, "That's perfect y/n."

"Personally I think it needs work." You turned around pulling off the helmet with a grin. "Hey uncl tony is Nattys fault she tell me to do it." The Russian looked at you completely stunned. "liar."

"Romanoff don't call the little cutie a liar look at them, they're too innocent and adorable to lie. Blaming a little after getting them to do your dirty work is disgusting behaviour and I am very disappointed in you." He said with a smirk before winking at you.

"Whatever, have fun. Bye!" She said before walking out. "Okay, who wants a new suit. You can be a little mini me, I get a sidekick and an excuse to make a suit, you get to look awesome and it will piss off Steve. Everybody wins." He said already making a start on your new suit.

The rest of your day was spent chasing Nat and Tony in your new suit, playing tag and hide and seek till an hour before Steve was due to come home. By the end of the game you were all exhausted.

"I can't run anymore." Tony sighed throwing himself on the couch. "Yeah y/n I don't wanna play this anymore can we do something else?" You landed in front of them, the suit disappeared revealing a very tired little, yawning uncontrollably. The affects of the sugar and adrenaline of playing faded almost as fast as it came and you collapsed into the Russian's arms.

"Yeah I think this one is way overdue a nap." Nat placed you down next to Tony before sitting down the other side of you. You soon fell asleep with a huge smile on your face, as much as you missed Steve spending the day with your favourite Aunt or uncle wasn't that bad... in fact it was amazing.

"Hey y/n I'm back!" Steve called out only to be met with shushing from the two avengers next to you. He walked over and saw you sleeping soundly, your head resting on Tony's shoulder and your fingers interlocked with the widow's. "Goodnight kiddo." Steve said with a chuckle. Your expression comforted Steve, he had been worried about you all day but seeing you so peaceful filled him with relief. He smiled to himself all the way back to his room where he began to unpack his stuff.

One where reader wants a pet but Maria thinks they’re too little to walk an animal by themselves and thinks that cats scratch too much so they agree on a frog/fish and reader gets really excited about it and Maria’s just chasing after them in the pet store as they hold their new friend in a tank ?

"Mommy!" Y/n smiled climbing on maria's lap. "Yes sweetheart?" She asked slightly sceptical of the little's joy. "Can we get a puppy? Pleeaseee." They asked for the fifth time that week, Maria sighed. "Baby, we've talked about this, having a puppy is a lot of responsibility. Who's going to take care of it?"

"I can do it! I will give them cuddles and food and I can clean up after it." Y/n exclaimed giving their best cute face to make maria give in, but to no avail. "Baby, what if your little and mommy isn't here? You can't go on long walks by yourself, and dogs need to be walked at least once every single day, sometimes more. It will be too much work for us baby, it's not fair on the dog either."

Maria's heart broke as the little's eyes filled up with tears. "Okay, how about we make a deal? We can go sit together and research some pets and find something a little more suitable for us than a dog?" Y/n nodded enthusiastically. "If we don't, can I has a puppy?" They asked hopefully. "We can look into it yes, but no promises. Now let's go look at some other options."

"Mommy look is a kitty! It's so cute." Y/n grinned, pointing at the screen. "Yeah, cats are cute, they're not always very cuddly and friendly though. You have to be careful with them."

"Yeah, they can bite and their scratches hurts. I don't want dat." Maria nodded, "me neither, how about something smaller." Maria scrolled further down the webpage to find pictures of fish; she noticed y/ns face light up. "You like those hm?" Y/n nodded with a huge smile, "I wan fish please mommy."

"Okay it's almost bedtime, I will look into it tonight and see if we can make it happen." After the little went to bed she spent the majority of the night researching the correct equipment and care techniques for different types of fish and where to get them. She ordered all the equipment including a large tank that she hid in the back of her closet to surprise y/n. She waited till she had everything she needed and set up the tank whilst y/n was asleep one night so they would find it the next morning.

"y/n sweetheart wake up; mommy has something to show you." After a little persuasion the little got up, taking her mommy's hand. "Mommy is a fishy tank!" Y/n exclaimed jumping up and down with excitement. "Yes, I know I said it would be a while but I know how much you want one so I figured we could go get one today."

"Can we gets two so he isn't lonely?" Maria chuckled lightly, "I guess we will have to see. Now come on let's go get ready."

"Mommy! Mommy hurry up!" Y/n pleaded watching maria move things around in the car. "Hang on sweetheart, we're in public so you know the rules, stay with me and no yelling when we are inside, or you might scare the animals." Y/n nodded excitedly. "sorry mommy I will listen I promise." The caregiver smiled, "thank you baby."

"Hey guys, do you have an idea of what you need today?" The worker asked. "Yes, this one wants a pet fish." The agent replied pulling the little into a side hug. "Or two!" Y/n interrupted, "Or two." The agent added with a chuckle. "Okay, right this way."

Y/n's eyes scanned over the various tanks until they spotted two goldfish further to the right. "Mommy look, they're friends." Maria nodded. "It looks like it, is a goldfish what you want?" Y/n enthusiastically nodded. "But..." they smiled up at her, playing with their fingers.

"we can't separate them, then the other one will be all alone." they frowned. "I guess we can't have that, okay but after this... no more. I don't care how many friends they have after that we don't need more than two." Y/n nodded hugging maria. "You're the best, thank you." The agent placed a kiss on their head. "You are more than welcome y/n just make sure you look after them, okay?"

"Do you guys have a tank to put them in for the ride home? The plastic bags aren't ideal." The worker asked maria and nodded to go and retrieve the tank. After a while the worker handed over the tank. "Okay here are your fish, enjoy your new pets."

"Yay! hi fishies. I luv them mommy thank you!" Maria smiled kissing y/n's forehead. "You're welcome baby, now give them to me so I can carry them, you can have them back when we get in the car."

"Nuu they mine." Y/n frowned pulling the tank to their chest. "Yes, baby but you need to let mommy carry them, now hand it over or I will put the fish in my room, and you won't be able to see them till tomorrow." Y/n shook their head, running off with the tank. "Y/n come back here."

"He's looking at me mommy he's so cute." The little replied before taking off again. "Y/n the sooner you stop the sooner we can take them home now give me the tank, now please."

"But mommy we're playing." Y/n whined looking at their new friends, "yes but if you fall or drop the tank you will hurt the fish, we have to be careful with them, now give it to me please." Maria said firmly when she caught up to the little. "Okay mommy I don't want them to get hurt. I'm sorry." they apologised, following their caregiver to the car.

Maria placed the tank in the back with y/n securing it with the seatbelt. "thank you for my surprise mommy." They grinned. "I love you."

"you're welcome sweetheart, I love you too baby. Let's show your friends their new home hm?" she smiled kissing their head and shutting the door.
