In terms of priority, my focuses went like this:
gesture -> anatomical accuracy -> gesture and interaction -> anatomical accuracy + gesture at the same time -> anatomical accuracy
It’s definitely a back and forth process because they all end up accomodating for each other.
How do you go about studying anatomy, personally?
What you should probably do:
1) Redraw the skeletal and muscle system as accurately as possible, bone for bone, muscle for muscle, at different perspectives, at least ONCE in your life—you will never forget the experience of doing so
2) Focus on gesture and how you can apply your style into the mobile human (this is a long process and you will continue to do so as long as you draw)
What I personally did:
1) read hentai for years and learn the extremes of the body’s joint movements
2) feed off a desire to recreate those movements
3) continue with the first two things above

hello! i was wondering if you had any tips on inking? ur inktobers are always so lovely i love ur art so much T__T
Here are some tips I can think off the top of my head. Below is example of digital to traditional medium—I merely printed it out, sketched on top of the print, and adjusted it with different pen techniques.
If there is anything you are confused on, please tell me! Thank you for your question. I hope this helps.
