Nights like tonight remind me of how any progress I thought I made has been a facade cause intrusive thoughts are storming to my bones.. I’m supposed to be good & okay & positive but no matter what’s going on in my life, there’s a dark empty void I cannot fill. I’ve distanced myself from friends and people I care about cause I don’t want it to hurt as much if one night the darkness wins

I truly hope the darkness NEVER wins!

We never give ourself enough credit for dealing with the shit that we do or even getting through the day. We need to give ourselves more credit, not pass it off like “yeah whatever”. It’s a big thing getting through the day sometimes or we reach a goal and then be like… “eh” or “meh”. Did you think you’d be here today? Did you think you would survive this long? Did you ever think the people who are around you right now would be around you?. I bet you didn’t, now look back at all that progress you have made and lift your head a little higher and know you got through some difficult fucking times. Be proud of yourself and don’t just say “yeah eh whatever”. Own it my dude!!!

It’s okay not to be okay and to ask for help. Even from your friends because that’s what they are there for, to help you and for you to help them when needed. Good times and bad. Don’t ever feel like you are a burden because you ain’t. If they make you feel like that then that says a lot about them.

Have some self worth, self respect and give yourself more credit even for the littlest things to feel proud of yourself. We all have ups and downs, darkness that larks within us all but so does the light. You will be okay and things will be okay. Just hang tight and know you will be missed if the darkness ever wins.

Maybe get a notebook, write the things you like about self down and the things you don’t. The things you don’t you can try and work on. Things you wanted to say but can’t you can burn. The good things will remind you the good qualities that you have and slowly you can add to them and see the progress that you have made.

I hope things get better for you, you can always come ask for advice or even rant and I will just listen. You just have to say towards the end and I won’t say anything. Sending you loads of love and strength 💕💕💕💕
