(because I got tired of only seeing big coastal cities, y’all)
Images from Birmingham, Atlanta, Nashville, Charleston, and the smallest march in Mentone, Alabama, where out of a population of 300 people, 50 of them marched. Check captions on the images for which is which.
#mentone al is the most important place on earth to me#i spent seven summers back to back there#the mentone market is a staple#just recently the oldest hotel burned down and i cried#there's a picnic place on the side of the mountain right outside of town that i love#i've biked through the farm fields#and interviewed the old school teacher#(just one because it was a one roomed school house)#and there are two churches up there#one protestant (i think baptist) and one catholic#and honest to god when trump got elected i thought about mentone#and how everyone there including my school teacher who showed me her garden and gave me coke#probably voted for him#but this#this is everything to me#seeing this just blows me away#and i'm crying alone in my room over this stupid picture#of mentone al#where the town that's home to the highway above the clouds#did this#god i'm a mess and i miss mentone#women's march#trump for ts i guess#hometown#cause it's close enough#i literally recognize people in that picture like holy shit#there's mary gresham#this is surreal

fact: ppl named katie with a k are inherently more powerful than those who spell it with a c. the strongest catie could fight the weakest katie and would still be obliterated. however, katies ending in ie are superior to katies ending in y, with k/catis as the most inferior katie. the katie hierarchy is as follows: katie, katy, kati, catie, caty, cati. katherines, however, are the most powerful of all, with catherines at a distant second. if, for god knows what reason, you place an i between the a and the t (see: caitie, kaity), you do not qualify as a true katie, and will not survive past a single round of katie v katie fisticuffs.
