I finished The Paradox of Choice, and damn, what a good book that was!!
This weekend, I joined a ādigital detoxā challenge with some virtual friends, so Iām hoping to get a lot of reading done!
I still need to finish Black Water Lilies and I also want to get back at Our Shadows Have Claws (an anthology of monster stories by Latin American authors).
Not to mention The Paradox of Choice, a super insightful non-fiction book.
After watching how booktok is making people fall for overconsumerism with book hauls and such, it was nice to go to my local library. They even put how much I'm saving, and I wonder if other libraries do that too! Please let me know!

i genuinely hope that boop day inspires everyone to interact more with other tumblr users. because itās clearly way more fun this way!! even once the boop button is gone, thereās still asks, tag and ask games, comments, dms, fuck it letās bring back blog rates i donāt care. part of the reason that tumblr is dying is that its way less social than it used to be. letās fix that!!
I have no idea why people started to associate crime with Easter. I think it was a marketing stunt decades ago that just stuck?
Wish I knew some Norwegian folks that could explain this better š š š
Does anyone here knows about and/or participates in PĆ„skekrim? Itās the Norwegian tradition of reading crime novels during Easter.
I donāt have any Norwegian/Nordic heritage, but I heard about this a few years ago and I LOVE themed reading challenges/seasons/ideas. So obviously I embraced PĆ„skekrim and always try to read some crime/murder story around this time of the year ^^
Yesss š„ hereās to spreading the word of PĆ„skekrim!
May more people join me in this ārandom traditionā lol

So lovely! Iām dreaming of Spring! Itās finally warming up here too - like around 7Ā°C (which is a huge improvement since the last 2 weeks we had -20Ā°C weather š)
I went to the park this morning before heading to the airport. It was so nice and sunny and the park was full of flowers. It's still a bit cold, though. Most days it's around 8Ā°C-12Ā°C. How is the weather where you live and do you like to take outdoor pictures of your books?
