okay but Kyle would absolutely love to have his hair played with.

It took a lot of trust because he hates his hair and therefore he doesn’t want anyone touching it because of his insecurities. But one day yall ere cuddling and you had your hand at the base of his skull and you just scratched his head a bit and he absolutely melted. It’s like when a puppy pushes its head against your hand when you pet it in the right way. Immediately he gets embarrassed but after some reassurance he’s good to go back to cuddling even if he’s a bit awkward wbachse of how flustered he was.

kyle is a sleep cuddler. like yall will just be hanging out and he’ll be falling asleep and you’ll just feel him wrap his arms around you and bury his face in your neck. he’s not normally that touchy but he’s just sleepy and needs smth to hold lol

to everyone who has replied to my posts or dmed me recently

i’m so sorry if i don’t answer. honestly i’ve been so busy with school and clubs and such that i tend to forget that people have replied to my posts or have dmed me. i know it sounds like a piss poor excuse but i dunno. it’s not until i get in the shower for my daily contemplation that i really remember like ‘oh shit someone dmed me and i haven’t replied’ like i do genuinely feel bad for not responding. in a week or so i’ll be less busy-clubs are ending, but finals are coming up and i have to crank on studying. i promise that soon i’ll be more free but for now it’s just a bit tight. i know it seems like i post a lot but honestly most of my posts are queued, im just too lazy to add the tag.

but anyway. i promise i have new content. im working on my comic. i’m working on fics. this goes across all my accounts, like i’m sorry that some of your x reader requests are gonna take me a bit. i am working on them. i promise.

i’m so sorry for not being as active as i have been. i’m sorry that i haven’t been replying to messages. i’m trying my best to stay on top of that because i don’t want anyone to feel like i’m ignoring them or that i’m suddenly not interested in being friends. it’s quite the opposite. i’ll try my best to get better at replying to things.

Like he’s by your side 24/7, if you try to move, he shoves you back down with a ‘don’t you dare move! You’re not gonna get better like that!’ or if you dared to look at your phone he would snatch that shit out of your hands and be all ‘don’t look at blue light if you have a headache, dumbass’

but if you throw up he automatically dips. no questions asked.

got kyle on the brain (shocker)

but he would be one of the most stubborn partners ever istg. not just when it comes to himself but also when it comes to you

sometimes he has periods where he forgets to sleep or eat. maybe he has a really busy shift at the diner. maybe he had a rough week of sports events and he has to catch up on a week’s worth of schoolwork. maybe he just needs to work on senior projects, or he needs to think of ideas for fundraisers for NHS. whatever it may be, he just has these periods in which he doesn’t eat or sleep. and it shows.

he gets snippier than usual. he gets stressed. you do t really know what’s wrong until you see him come home from work. his shirt is buttoned wrong. His hair is a frizzy mess. hes hot bags under his eyes and he just isn’t holding himself the way he normally would. you ask him what’s wrong and he just kinda gives you that look. he’s about to answer but his stomach ends up doing it for him. he jabs it with the heel of his palm in frustration and you just kinda have to take his wrist to prevent him from doing it anymore. he keeps insisting he can take care of himself and that this is a minor hiccup (it is, he isn’t normally like this) but you just sit him down. you wanna be the one to care for him for once instead of the other way around. and it’s actually pretty nice.

in the end he goes to bed with a full stomach for the first time in like-three days. he isn’t much of a cuddler but if you are he’ll make an effort to give extra snuggles that night.

He honestly didn’t know what to do when he saw your scars

You were probably hiding out, or you did it when he wasn’t home

He came home early to find you in tears with blood on your arms or legs

He freezes as soon as he sees you

He probably gets a little bit choked up (Think Cherokee Hair Tampons. He’s a sensitive guy)

“Y/N, what is this..?” the raven-haired boy’s voice cracked ever so slightly, but he cleared his throat to cover that up. There you were. The love of his life. With blood on your knife and tears staining your cheeks. He felt sick. But not in the normally lovey-dovey way he did. He felt sick with guilt. He was never good at comforting people. But that didn’t mean he wouldn’t try. He didn’t exactly know what to do though. He was a bit awkward when it came to consolation. As you sat there crying, he squatted down and kneeled, placing a hesitant hand on your back.

“It’ll be okay.”

He doesn’t really know what else to say

Even in regular circumstances he isn’t the greatest at being comforting

And when you’re in this much distress, it tends to make him stress out too

He sits there with his hand on your back. He says the generic stuff.

“It’ll be okay.” “It’ll get better.” “You’re okay.”

If you want space, he’ll leave you alone

If you wanna be held, he’ll do his best

Just give him time. He’s very awkward.

He’s better after a few hours.

You heard a knock on your door. You were still a bit shaken up after having your boyfriend see you do such a thing. But you got up and opened the door. There was Stan. He looked at you, genuine worry in his eyes. If only he was able to physically express that.

“Y/N, can we talk?”

And that you did. You sat down and told him everything. He would interject a few times with a “Holy shit” or “I’m so sorry”. Generic stuff like that. Like I said. He genuinely cares. He does. But he’s not good at putting his thoughts onto paper. So he sat there. Rubbing your back as you talked to him.

“Do you want me to help you bandage those up?”

You hesitated before nodding.

He patches you up and sits down with you.

He probably asks if you wanna check into a therapist’s office

He’s looking out for you

Whether you choose to or not is up to you. but in the end, he’ll do whatever you want him to.

Kyle was very shocked too

He hates things that are out of his control

And he hates knowing you’re in distress without him knowing

He honestly probably got a little bit angry

He wasn’t angry at you, but he was angry at himself for not noticing the signs

“Y/N? What is this?! What happened?”

You looked up. The redhead had a look of mixed worry, confusion, sadness and anger on his face. He seemed to be in a conflicting battle with his emotions.

“Who did this to you?!”

He was in panic mode

He thought someone hurt you without him knowing

But then you had to explain you did it to yourself

He had to take a walk. He felt like he was gonna explode. And he was scared he was gonna snap at you.

But he wasn’t angry at you. He was angry at himself.

He came back later and knocked on your door.

“N/N, hey…”

He crouched down, all the anger was gone from his expression. You could’ve sworn you saw tears pricking the corners of his eyes, but they were blinked away before you could bring them up.

“Look at me?”

He’s not normally soft like this

When he’s comforting someone, he usually has a more stern approach

He lays out the facts and that’s usually that. He wasn’t a very good listener.

But he’s trying.

As you explained what was going on, he nodded a bit. He tried to keep himself quiet, but he did butt in sometimes.

“Here’s the thing, N/N. Life beats all of us down sometimes. But it isn’t worth it to hurt yourself over. If everyone in the world hurt themselves over every small inconvenience, the world would be a much worse place than it is.”

He doesn’t mean for it to come off as rude as it does. But if it offends you he’ll just nod along.

“Well…here. Do you want me to help? We’ll do this together. Okay? But you’ve gotta work with me.”

He offers to check you into a psych ward

Id you choose to go, he’ll be with you the whole way

If not, he insists you go to a therapist

He really does love you. He makes sure to give you extra cuddles too, even if he’s not much of a cuddler.

He’ll try for you.

I hope this is good? I haven’t done x reader stuff in a while. But I hope you feel better. Wanted to do this ASAP because you said you’re going through things, so I was kinda worried. But I hope this helps 💚
