On one hand, AO3 being down has given me the time to work on my own wildly gay and smutty fan fiction now that Im not constantly consuming it. 

On the other, I FINISHED A CHAPTER AND COULDN’T GET THAT SWEET SWEET RUSH OF DOPAMINE THAT COMES FROM UPDATING AND BEING SHOWERED IN THE LOVE AND ATTENTION BY STRANGERS ON THE INTERNET.

Gotta look for the positives tho. I wish all the amazing front line individuals in this fight a kiss on the forehead and a deep tissue hand massage.

Look, I know I said androgynous babes with glasses was peak character design, but damn, women with manes in suits is a very close second

Dana and the team once again gifting us an amazing episode and absolutely shredding my emotions. I don’t know about you, but I personally am looking forward to all the angsty, h/c Raeda fics about to hit AO3 during hiatus

Honestly, congrats to The Owl House team for the insane editing and amazing narrative care in story boarding and script they have done to make these few episodes they were left with count with every single second of screentime. 

They’re fleshing out the characters, they’re closing loose ends, they’re strengthening relationships, they’re developing necessary world building and they’re doing it all with so little time. 

Absolute mad respect to this team and series.

So Dead End Season 3 isn't coming.

Honestly, what is even the fucking point of getting into any show nowadays if it's just going to be cancelled and left unfinished.

So many stories with wonderfully realised characters, excellent worldbuilding and amazing diversity just left to rot because some out of touch executive wasn't seeing enough zero's in his bank account.

Fuck Netflix, Fuck Disney, Fuck Warner Bros and Fuck all the companies that don't care about art except as a a way to line their wallets. Good luck finding anyone who wants to make content for you you greedy bastards.

I was mid-homework when AO3 went down. What am I supposed to do now? Focus my attention so I can get things accomplished and maintain a semi-reasonable bedtime instead of taking sporadic breaks consisting of large amounts of time to read several chapters of fics I have read hundreds of times before? Yeah right.
