-One musician said she doesn't like cats
-I LOVE the song "King For A Day" by Green Day & when I told a friend that in HS they talked to me like I was stupid & said "That's a Pierce The Veil song not a Green Day song..." & when I was like "No tf ??? Green Day has a song called that too" & then they were like "Oh okay, PTVs came out first so" WHICH ISN'T EVEN FUCKING TRUE. So now I'm never gonna listen to their King For A Day & I'm not gonna listen to PTV either

As a wheelchair user I'm trying to reframe my language for "being in the way."
"I'm in the way," "I can't fit," and "I can't go there," is becoming "there's not enough space," "the walkway is too narrow," and "that place isn't accessible."
It's a small change, but to me it feels as if I'm redirecting blame from myself to the people that made these places inaccessible in the first place. I don't want people to just think that they're helping me, I want them to think that they're making up for someone else's wrongdoing. I want them to remember every time I've needed help as something someone else caused.

next time you make chicken noodle soup or similar, listen to me. im so serious. im real as it gets with this. listen to me.
a little bit of sriracha(or other hot sauce), a little bit of soy sauce, a little bit of mustard powder. for like an eight quart pot like a tablespoon of all of these things. very yummy.
you will not taste these things individually. they will not overpower your soup and leave a weird taste. they will take that mf up a notch and bring some color to the rest of whats going on, dont ask me how. okay. cooking magic beyond my comprehension (so far) of how flavors work together in funny ways.
Genuinely, I don’t know how else to get the word out, but I feel like if your home-cooked dinners don’t taste right, you're missing either paprika, sugar, butter, or chicken bouillon.

this piano was a public art commissions for the city! it's covered in dinosaurs that have actually been found (and in the case of 3 of them, discovered) in my home state of colorado. i'm super happy with how it turned out and i had a blast painting it :^)
