A sketch based on memory and photo reference of my visit to FTM Bar 2s Cabin in Tokyo. I wanted to go out of my way to visit different LGBTQIA+ bars while I was out traveling, and I found it super touching and affirming. The bartenders and patrons were always so nice to meet.
Apologies for the wonky scale! The bartenders are larger than life in my mind haha.

Off to the races!
I began reading Golden Kamuy before I had started JoJo, so I was extremely delighted when I realized how inspired by Steel Ball Run it was. It's always fascinating seeing how specific JoJo parts inspire other works, and Noda paid an incredible tribute.

Behold! An homage to Stardust Crusaders based on my travel photos taken at Haw Par Villa. Sadly the Tiger Balm Garden that the SDC cast visits in Hong Kong was demolished in 2004, but I got to visit its sibling in Singapore. It was honestly a super charming destination even with my geeky intentions aside, but it felt in the spirit of the series to take the Jojos with me while I toured Asia this winter.

Travel sketches from my trip to Asia this winter! I got to travel Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore, although sadly I only really had time to draw in Singapore.
