"Sparked by the curiosity of two brothers, Alek and Max, this book was borne from questions that arose in their daily routines. One morning while Alek was getting a pedicure from his mother, he asked, "How did cavemen cut their toenails?" A week into the COVID-19 lockdown while eating breakfast, Max, staring at his cereal, wondered, "Did cavemen have to go to school?""
Back in 2021, I had the privilege of illustrating a book written by two young boys about their inquiries into life. It was interesting and fun diving into the mindset of kids, giving me the opportunity to truly live out my dream of becoming a children's book illustrator. My passion for this dream only grew after the experience!

Working on The Age of Sirene one character a time with the entire first book all done, just waiting for me to finalize character designs. 馃檭Kind of feeling overworked by my boss (ie me).
I haven't even really gotten the chance to really talk about my story anywhere yet.
