Giving Them the Bouquet {Stardew Valley: Alex, Elliot, Seb, and Shane}

Yes, some fluffy confessions from all the marriage candidates. I always wanted them each to have a different reaction but they all pretty much say the same thing T_T

Giving them the bouquet before the ten heart event also always confused me, since they always end up confessing even though the bouquet symbolizes dating? I’m not quite sure. I’ll just assume most of everyone is shy or something lolol

Also, I’d like to apologize for my long hiatus. I’m going to be slowly, but surely, answer (almost) everything in my inbox. I swear I’m not ignoring any of you T_T

I hope this makes up for it, at least a little bit.

Anyhow, enjoy the story!

Alex:

After getting the letter from Pierre (who somehow creepily knew about your not so obvious crush on Alex), you rush to the store to get the bouquet. Sure, you literally had no plan on what to do, but you were already struggling with your feelings towards Alex and how to tell him. Even if it was super creepy of Pierre, you were not going to waste this opportunity!

For a moment, as you stood at the entrance of his house, shaking in your boots as you waited for someone to answer the door, you wondered if you really HAD to go through with it. I mean, surely it wasn’t too late…but before you could even turn around, Evelyn opens the door.

She greets you warmly, and then sees the bouquet. If you’re easy to fluster, I’m sorry. She’s going to giggle at you and probably say some things like;

“Oh my… You must be giving that to my dear grandson, yes?”

“They’re so beautiful, just like you, my dear. Alex is so lucky to have someone like you.”

“Ah… Young love… I remember when George had given me a bouquet all those years ago…”

“I’ll prepare the vase while you go talk with him. He’s in his room.”

She means no ill will, she’s literally sunshine and innocence mashed into an elderly woman.

She’ll happily invite you inside, and I imagine you’d just book it to his room after an encounter like that. You probably take a deep breath once more before knocking onto his door.

He opens the door for you (and luckily he has a shirt on so you won’t be distracted :D), and his face lightens up the moment he sees you.

“Oh, hey farmer! I was actually just about to head over to the farm to check up on ya… I haven’t seen you all day so I just got a bit worried… B-But y-you don’t have to always talk to me! I-I mean I totally always want to talk to you-! W-Wait that sounds… Let me start over…“

You ask if you can come in, and he quickly lets you in, cursing under his breath since he believed he was acting stupid. He closes the door, but right when he turns around, he’s beyond shocked.

You, the person he believed to be the cutest thing in Pelican Town since you had moved here, had a large bouquet of flowers in your hands, holding them out for him to take. He kept looking between the flowers and you, pretty unsure what to do tbh

It’s not until you finish your confession that he actually takes them, a super cute, but goofy smile spreading on his face as he rubs the back of his neck while holding the flowers close to him.

“I-I’m really happy you told me…! T-Thanks! I-I’ll totally accept this, yeah!”

It might seem like a really weird way to accept your feelings but give this man a break. He seems confident but he can just make himself flustered so quickly.

He’d probably ask you a lot of questions pretty quickly. He’s kinda a flustered chatterbox if you couldn’t tell.

He’d ask things like how long you had liked him, or if you knew he liked you, or what he could call you, etc.

You’d probably have to make him stop talking, but he’d still be so happy either way.

After a bit, Evelyn walks into the room with a vase, which sure, flustered you and Alex a bit more than previously, but it’s quickly lightened up with a plate of cookies, and an invite to dinner.

Even if you’d only given the bouquet to Alex like 20 minutes ago, he’s already planning a date to the saloon <333

Elliott:

I actually imagine Elliott would be quite a comforting person to be around, so compared to some of the others, while still be scary, it’s be a way more chill confession, if that makes any sense what so ever

Maybe it’s because he’s a romantic, so he’d understand no matter the outcome. So for this, we’re gonna say you’re a little excited to tell Elliott. Definitely nervous, but at least you’ll get it off your chest!

You bought the bouquet, and pretty much skipped out his house. When you arrived at his door, you were surprised to see he wasn’t there. He usually stayed at his house during this time, and surly he would have let you know. He usually let you know of any schedule changes he had so you two could always spend time together.

Willy had been walking by and saw you waiting at the door in a confused sort of trance.

“Ah, Farmer Y/n… You just missed Elliott.”

You ask if he knows where Elliott had gone. He lets out a laugh and winks at you.

“Yep. He told me he was headin’ to Pierre’s… Said he wanted to get a bouquet for a very special person.”

Willy let out another laugh, but was horrified to see how heartbroken you looked. He didn’t mean that in the way that you think at all. Your head held low, causing Willy to panic. You had run off before he had a chance to clear it up.

You had run off back to the farm, passed all the concerned villagers. When you got home, you gently tossed the bouquet onto the table and fell flat onto your bed, and stared up at the ceiling.

What you didn’t know was that Elliott was looking around frantically for you. He had no idea where you could be! Maybe you were in the mines? Or maybe you went to Ginger Island, or the Skull Caverns? He’d already been by your farm a couple times before you went home, so he just assumed you weren’t home.

At the end of the day, he walked home in defeat, the bouquet in his hands as he dragged himself to his house. Willy had stayed up specifically to tell him what had occurred, since he felt awful for it. Elliott wasn’t mad, but actually both worried and flustered over the news he was given.

You came to his house with a bouquet?? Were you going to give it to him????? WHY DIDN’T HE JUST WAIT A LITTLE LONGER THEN-

He thanked Willy before heading off to bed, already setting his alarm clock to the earliest time possible.

You had woken up from the knocking on your door. It wasn’t too surprising, since the villagers sometimes did have the tendency to wake you up even earlier than you already woke up. It was probably the fact you’d been pretty upset over the Elliott thing that you were a bit grumpy to answer the door. You contemplated even getting up, but did so anyway. You groggily opened the door, but woke the hell up when seeing Elliott at the door, bouquet in his hands.

It all suddenly clicked, and you felt a little embarrassed for before. It was a bit visible on your expression, but Elliott didn’t seem to mind, and only focused on you with a flustered, but loving smile.

You sat in silence for a second. Before Elliott could even speak, you held your hand up to quiet him for a moment to run and get the bouquet you had gotten for him, running back to the door with it in your hands.

Both do you were practically tomatoes from being so red. Elliott’s smile widened, bending down a bit to get a bit closer to your face.

“Mind if I come in? We can talk over breakfast.”

Oh you’ll definitely talk

Shane:

Honestly, I imagine you’d be super hesitant for a couple days after you received the letter from Pierre. It’d probably be a couple days of a lot of thinking and consideration.

Then, one day, Jas had approached you.

You had grown a bit closer to her when you befriended Shane, and she seemed to really enjoy your company. She always wanted to play with you and sometimes joined you and Shane when you hung out. So usually, it wouldn’t bother you if she approached you, but it was raining pretty hard. You essentially screeched like a barbarian when you saw her drenched in water before you had dragged her under a large tree at the farm.

You rambled a bit about her, mostly regarding her health and the chance she could get sick in this weather.

“Sorry… I just needed to ask you something…”

She looked a bit saddened, but you quickly explained to her that you weren’t mad, just worried. And she could ask you anything, just preferably not in the rain. And since your house was the closest, you had urged her inside.

You brought her a towel to dry off, then turned on the fireplace. You had also made the two of you some hot chocolate, and Jas was more than delighted to drink it. As you both sat near the fire, Jas had asked you the big question she had come all this way to ask;

“Are you in love with Uncle Shane?”

You choked on your hot chocolate, but Jas just stared at you innocently. You didn’t really deny it, mostly because you were recovering from choking on the hot chocolate, but as soon as you did, your first question was why she wanted to ask such a thing.

“Miss Penny read us a fairy tail where the people in the book were in love, but they didn’t tell each other. It reminded me of you and Uncle Shane. You two are always red around each other and get nervous.”

You stuttered over your words, trying your best to come up with a response, but to no avail. Jas just smiled.

“You should tell him! He really likes you too. He never stops talking about you. And he gets all smiley.”

Is that true??? SERIOUSLY??? DID JAS JUST TELL ON SHANE?!

Afterwards, Marnie came in search of Jas, and the little girl had left. Though, the things she had said never really left your mind. That was probably the moment you had made the decision to give Shane the bouquet.

The next day, you headed straight to Pierre’s after taking care of your farm. And afterward, headed straight to Marnie’s barn, since it was Shane’s day off… You bumped into Jas on the way, who was pretty excited when she realized you were going to tell him. She had to go off and play with Vincent, but her mood was brightened and she skipped her way to her friend.

You pretty much went straight to Shane’s room, bouquet behind your back. Shane opened the door, and the moment he saw you, a smile spread on his face.

“Oh, hey Farmer. What’s up?”

You ask if you could talk, and Shane gets visibly nervous. I feel like if anyone hears the words ‘let’s talk,’ they panic a little.

Once you two were alone, he was shifting a bit. It made you feel bad to get him all fidgety, since it wasn’t your intention to make him a bit frazzled. But, you were here to do what you had mentally declared you were going to do. You pulled out the bouquet, and the second you did his eyes are wide, and his face flushed up.

You managed to get out your confession pretty well. You were as fidgety as he was in the beginning, but in the end, you had the courage to look him in the eyes.

He looked a bit worried, and looked away a bit shyly. It made you think for a second that he was going to reject you, but that wasn’t really the case.

“I… I really… I feel the same about you. But don’t be offended when I say this… Are you sure you really like me? I mean… I’ve struggled. I still struggle. I just want to make sure you’ll be happy with me if this is really what you want.”

Comfort him.

Tell him the honest truth; That you do indeed want this, and you want him. You really love him, and you want to be happy with him.

After that, he’d take the bouquet, albeit, a bit shyly.

“I-If you’re sure… Then… I’ll accept this. Thank you…”

Sebastian:

I imagine there would be a lot of thought and consideration, like Shane. You definitely love Sebastian, no doubt about that. It’s more the concern should you tell him or should you not. Plus, most assume that he likes Abigail. All of that would be a lot to consider.

However, you my dear have the determination to be honest with your feelings. Despite everything, you really wanted to tell Sebastian, even if it didn’t end well. Plus it almost felt like he knew at this point with how obvious you thought you were being.

So, you bought the bouquet. It made you a little more nervous when looking down at the bundle of flowers, since Sebastian didn’t really favor flowers in any way. But maybe it’d be the meaning that he’d truly appreciate? You didn’t know at this point, only getting more and more nervous the closer you got to his house.

Though, you could quickly tell when coming inside that something wasn’t right in the house. Robin looked grumpy and her husband wasn’t anywhere in sight. Robin barely even took notice of you, grumpily shaving down some wood.

You were kinda happy about that though. It’d be a bit awkward for Robin to fawn over you right before you were going to confess to her son-

Anyhow, you walked inside of his room, freezing up a bit when seeing Sebastian sitting on his bed, leaning against the wall with an angry expression. He seemed deep in thought, not even noticing you at the door.

He eventually saw you when you sat down beside him, the bouquet behind your back as you looked at him with concern. You were quick to ask Sebastian what was wrong. Had something upset him?

Sebastian let out a sigh, looking up at the ceiling. “Demetrius is what’s wrong. He got into a fight with my mom about me, saying I should be out of the house by now... He never brought Maru up at all though.”

Demetrius’ favoritism always made your blood boil. He seriously had no right to treat Sebastian in such a mean way. And frankly, you didn’t like the way he talked to Robin either. You were quick to side with Sebastian, letting him know of such to. You assured him he did nothing wrong, and Demetrius had no right to say that.

Obviously, it felt weird to give him a bouquet in that moment, so you just... hid it behind your back. You had pretty much given up on the idea of telling him now... But hey, maybe another time.

But obviously, Sebastian can see the colorful abundance of flowers brooding from your back, and so of course he would ask.

You tried to avoid it, even trying to blame it on the ol' farming excuse, but Sebastian wasn't impressed. He sighed, looking down at the ground with a frustrated expression.

"You're giving someone a bouquet, aren't you?"

His expression morphed from frustration into sadness.

"...Just go and give it to them... You don't have to pity me anymore."

you stared in utter bewilderment. Did he... not even consider these were for him? You quickly pushed the bouquet into his hands, correcting him and saying they were for him, not for anyone else.

His face was flushed in red as he stared at you with wide eyes.

"...S....Seriously?"

You'll have to tell him a few times they are for him. He'll always need to hear it a few times before it really kicks in.

He takes a shaky breath, looking down at the bouquet as a slow smile stretched on his lips.

"Cool... cool... Thanks."

Childhood Friends to Lovers Trope with Sam!

You had met Sam through school after you two had been paired up in a group project together. He was having a hard time with the work that needed to be done, but being the sweet soul that you are, you offered your partner assistance, carefully explaining each problem and the solutions to him in a way that was better than the teachers explanation. You didn’t even get mad when he didn’t understand, instead, you explained it in another way he could understand.

Sam had a little crush on you from that moment on, but didn’t really think it was a crush. At the time, he thought that he just wanted to be your friend!

You two had become close after that; like two peas in a pod. You often went to his house, and never went somewhere without the other by your side.

You two would most defiantly have friendship bracelets

There was a time where the two of you were in his room, excited to try the new instruments he had gotten for his birthday. He suddenly paused and turned to you.

“Y/n, do you think I could be a rockstar one day?”

Of course, you told him you believed in him! You thought he could do anything he set his mind to, and you encouraged his dreams! You told him you’d always be by his side, no matter the outcome.

His face was a bright red as you went on and on about your future together. The twinkle in your eyes and the excitement in your tone made him turn a darker crimson with each declaration.

“Y/n, we should get married one day!”

Cue a young Y/n choking on their words-

You flushed up red. It was such a random thing to say, but Sam couldn’t help himself. If you two had a future together, he wanted that to be the future. Sam was grinning, which only caused you to laugh and agree.

“Then let’s pinky swear, okay?”

You two interlocked your pinkies with such a cute future enveloping your minds.

However, it didn’t last long.

Sam was horrified when Jodi and Kent told him that they were moving. It wasn’t just a small distance away, it was so far away that it’d be hard for you to even visit him. When he told you, he cried. Yes, he cried. You probably cried with him, the two of you worried you’d never see each other again.

You two tried to keep in touch with letters, but Stardew Valley has a horrific mayor that’s been in office for years, so that didn’t really last long.

However, you two kept the friendship bracelets. You didn’t really have a lot of contact with anyone, especially now working at Joja, so it was a nice reminder of how things used to be.

Sam kept his because he never forgot about you. Sure, he was busy, and he could be easily distracted by his new life in the Valley, but he simply could never find himself to take off the bracelet. He still cared about you, even if it had been years. You were his first friend, and in a way, his first love.

He sometimes wondered what would be if he stayed in Zuzu city, or if you two didn’t lose contact.

But he didn’t need to wonder about what could have been when you moved to the valley.

He had heard of the new farmer for a couple days, but didn’t really think about it. While on his way to Sebastian’s house, he happened to bump into you. You two didn’t even know it was the other until Sam had saw the bracelet hanging off your wrist.

You two kind of just stared at each other.

Sam was more then shocked, thinking he’d never even see you again.

But then he just kind of held open his arms, not really expecting much, but flushed up imminently when you jumped into his arms. You two just kind of giggled for a bit before you two decided to catch up. Sam felt bad for leaving Sebastian hanging, but he was not losing this opportunity to catch up with you after so long!

You two had spoke for hours, just about your lives and what had happened over the years. But seeing you had brought back all his old feelings for you as a kid. He was a bit more of a cheeky bastard, but still reminded you of when you two were kids.

Days led into weeks of you two constantly being around each other. It was just like when you two were younger when you two were stuck at the hip.

Sam shifting pretty much all of his attention to you honestly annoyed Sebastian and Abigail, and since they couldn’t even get to know you, they didn’t understand why. Sam didn’t really have a clue he was annoying his friends and neglecting them, since he was so infatuated with you.

Sebastian decided to be the one to confront Sam about it since him and Abigail played Rock Paper Scissors and he lost

Unknown to the two of them, you had been creeping around the corner, ready to surprise Sam with one of his favorite gifts, but happened to hear your name being brought up. And of course, curiosity got the best of you, so you remained hidden as you listened in.

“I just don’t understand why you can’t hang out with us anymore.”

“…I’m sorry I haven’t been paying attention to you two lately, but it’s a lot more complicated then that!”

“What’s complicated about your best friend leaving you for a farmer?”

“N-No! It’s not… Aurg… Look, its more then a friendship for me-“

“What does that even mean?”

“It means I love Y/n Sebastian!”

You dropped the tigerseye on the ground, mouth agape and face beat red. They quickly turned towards you, Sam’s face shifting in the same expression as yours. Sebastian quickly understood the situation and sort of side stepped away from the room, leaving you two alone.

You stared at each other once more, before Sam went into apology mode, sweating bullets as he tried to make an excuse for what you had overheard.

“Y-Y-Y/N! I-It’s not what you think! I-I was uh… I meant it in… S-Sebastian and I!-“

You were quick to yank him down by his collar, pulling him into a rough, but sweet kiss. Sam was too shocked to move, even when you pulled away, giving him that sweet smile that you always did.

You admitted you had felt the same that he did about you, even since you two were kids. Sam just stared at you with his eyes popping out of their sockets, taking in every word carefully.

When you were done, there was a pause, and for a minute, you wondered if you had said something wrong. However, he started giggling. In the super cute, flustered way as he held his beat red face in the palm of his hand.

“I must be dreaming… This has to be the best day ever!”

He picked you up by your waist, spinning you around as you two giggled like two lovesick teens.

This was the start of something new for you two, something slightly scary, but beautiful at the same time. And who knows? Maybe you two will act on that pinky promise. ;)

Fluffy Headcanons for Penny and a Female Farmer! <3

Penny, in general, is so unbelievably wholesome and sweet. Despite her upbringing, she is nothing but kind to everyone in the valley, and does everything she can to assist some of her fellow neighbors.

She never really experienced love or anything, and mostly focused on her mother, and being a teacher in the valley. For a second, she really wondered if she’d ever have any romantic experience. But then, you came into the valley, and she was lovestruck.

You were, and continue to be, absolutely stunning, not just physically, but as a person. You showed so much kindness towards everyone in the valley, and even starting fixing up the community center. When you spoke to her the first time, she was reduced to stutters, as her face grew as red as a strawberry and her heart beat quickened.

“O-Oh…! Hello miss… W-Welcome to the valley!”

You began your conquest to woo Penny, not knowing you had already succeeded.

Once you two are in a relationship, she is filled with nothing but joy. Although she is usually pretty quiet, the moment you presented the bouquet, she essentially jumped in your arms, wondering how she was worthy of a girl as perfect as you.

And when you give her the mermaids pendent, she actually drops down to her knees and cries of joy as you embrace her. You want to be her wife! It’s such a sweet thought and an amazing revelation.

She’s quite doting. She likes to give you gifts, cook you meals, and even help with the farm, even if she doesn’t know too much about that sort of thing.

As said, she’s a bit shy, and incredibly easy to fluster. If you give her a compliment, she’s so quick to turn red. Though, she’ll usually smile shyly and direct a compliment back to you.

“Oh darling… You’re so sweet to me. T-Thank you…!”

She can be pretty affectionate, but mainly in private. I imagine she’s a bit shy when it comes to most public displays of affection.

She loves to kiss your cheeks, nose, and your lips. Pretty much all over your face. She thinks its adorable when she kisses your nose and your face slightly scrunches up, or when she kisses your cheeks and you lean into it.

Her hugs are so comforting. You don’t know what it is about it, but every time you hug her, all your worries, anger, or sadness just melt away, and you feel safe. Like you’re home.

Her nicknames include darling, honey, sweetie, etc. She’s fairly vanilla with her nicknames, but they’re so sweet nevertheless.

She is thankful you sometimes come with her, Vincent, and Jas. Since you’re a farmer, you could provide useful knowledge for the two of them. Both Vincent and Jas are oddly entertained and eager to learn about your farm and the recourses you collect.

She’d want a family, since she adores kids. If you shared the same sentiment she did, she’d be ecstatic. The two of you would make incredible mothers, and would be so loving to the child.

Speaking of family… Pam isn’t used to Penny not being home, or more involved in Pam’s everyday life. She even ignores Penny at times, when Penny makes an effort to reach out and see if she’d like to visit. It really hurts Penny, but you’re always there for her. She just melts in your arms after another fight with Pam.

“Thank you, honey… I just don’t know what I’d do without you.”

Overall, Penny is a very sweet and loving wife! She’s absolutely smitten with you, and cannot wait to spend the rest of her life with you <33

I’m currently writing some headcanons of giving ALL the marriage candidates a bouquet! I always wanted them to have different reactions, so writing it has been fun so far! It’s taking awhile though, but I hope everyone likes it when I finish!

Sam is so incredibly lovesick for you.

We swoons when you speak with him, and gets real giddy when you hold him.

It’s kind of like a puppy dog love in a way? He’s usually pretty energetic, but when you even look at him, it takes that energy and multiples it by ten.

Of course, he usually gets pretty flustered because of that. He usually tries to brush his flustered nature off around you when you notices. He also tries to play it cool and act relaxed. However, it usually ends up with him getting even more flushed up then previously, even a bit lightheaded!

“H-Huh?! I-I’m.. I’m blushing? It uh… It’s probably the temperature in here! Y-Yeah, that’s totally the reason! Haha…”

He’s mostly like this before your relationship and at the start of your relationship. However, after a bit of being in a relationship with you, he starts acting like a tease! He’s constantly flirting and super affectionate with you, a complete 180 from how he acted before.

“Aw, sunshine… You look so cute right now! Oh, you’re starting to blush too? God you’re adorable…”

He likes PDA, but if you’re uncomfortable with sort of thing, he’s totally okay with that! Your comfort is very important to him.

If you don’t mind PDA, then expect him to at least be constantly holding your hand, or have an arm wrapped around you. He also doesn’t mind peppering your face in kisses. The only time he isn’t affectionate like that is around his family, but, like I said, he’ll definitely hold your hand.

Sebastian and Abigail had to endure him rambling on and on about you before you two were even in a relationship, and it somehow got worse when you two started dating. He will brag on and on about you, or constantly declare how much he loves you.

Sebastian has defiantly heard so many songs Sam had wrote for you, most of them being scrapped since Sam believed that they weren’t good enough for someone as great as you, or simply didn’t convey how he felt for you well.

He would also like to teach you an instrument if you’re interested. I personally imagine him to be pretty good at most instruments, or at least the ones in his band.

If you guys have kids, he thinks it’d be so cute if he taught everyone an instrument and you guys all played together! <333

It fills him with so much love and pride to see you coming to his concerts. Even if you’re only there for a second, it makes him feel so loved.

After his concerts, he runs up to you and leans down to give you a big hug, or a sweet but eager kiss.

“Thanks for comin’ babe! I’m glad you made it!”

Okay, this is probably important to mention, but Sam is t a l l. I’m pretty sure he’s one of, if not, the only love interest who has to bend down to kiss you. I don’t know what Jodi and Kent gave him but god damn

He would have to bend down to give you a kiss, or to give you hugs. But he’d also pick you up a lot, whether that be more a hug, a kiss, or maybe just to pick you up and spin you around, which is something he’d totally do.

He’d also give you (and your kids if you have any) piggyback rides! He usually did with Vincent, or put him on his shoulders.

Speaking of Vincent, his family adores you! I’ve said this in the family headcanons, but Jodi loves to have you two over for dinner at least once a week, Kent thinks you’re a good person since you made his family happy, and Vincent thinks you’re fun!

Family holidays are a must :))

Sam would also practically beg his mom for cooking lessons, since he wanted to start cooking for you! I’d love to imagine you coming home from a busy day to see Sam in an apron, trying his best not to burn whatever he was making.

“Oh-! Hey babe! Just uh… trying to make this fried calamari…! It was supposed to be a surprise… Well, since you’re here, wanna walk me through the recipe?”

He tends to hum a lot. It’s almost like he has a new tune for everything he does. Like with cooking for example, its a pretty upbeat tune. Or when you two are cuddled up together, he hums something slower, kinda like a lullaby as he brushes his hands through your hair.

You two have probably sung together goofily while dancing in the kitchen, or just while generally hanging out.

He’s a very energetic and sweet husband, and while being totally lovesick for you, he can make you feel so flustered and giddy! He truly loves you, and wants to make your relationship as fun and upbeat as possible, while also sharing sentimental and sweet moments with him too! <3

Harvey is such a sweet guy with so much love to give! He’s also adorably shy at times, and its just so cute!

He is very kind and gentle with you. He truly appreciates you spending time with him when you both can be busy with your careers and passions, and wants to make sure you feel loved, and the time you gave him was worth it.

He’s a bit self conscious… He just sometimes feels like he isn’t good enough, and tends to compare himself to others. He also has the fear he’s holding you back, whether that be because of his fears or some other reason. Please assure him just how much you love him! He really needs it. But once he hears it come from you he feels a comforted. After all, he holds your opinion higher than his or anyone else’s.

He is a very doting husband and lover. He does practically anything you need or would like him to do. Some of the things he does for you consist of making you dinner every night, fixing you up whenever you get wounded, and maybe a controversial opinion… He dances with you.

I don’t know why, but he just gives the vibe he would slow dance with you to a record or something. Sure, he’s not great at it, and sometimes stumbles on his feet and such, but that only makes you two laugh before you keep dancing.

Like Sebastian, I don’t think he’s really big on PDA. Not because he really hates it per say, more of he gets super flustered.

“D-Dear! Y-You scared me! …What? I’m turning red? O-Of course I am…. I always do when I talk with you…”

He continues to be flustered even after you two got married. He can’t help it! You’re just too sweet of a person for him to comprehend.

If you tease him, he’ll only get even more flustered. But there is the incredibly cute moments (not that all Harvey moments aren’t cute) where, while flustered, he lets out these embarrassed chuckles and the thought just makes me ascend.

He tries to have fun and sweet dates! He makes them as romantic as he can, while also making sure you enjoy the time you spend together. As discussed, he loves to make you dinner every night, so he’ll have a ton of romantic dinners with you!

He’d also try new activities, or some really fun ones like the hot air balloon ride! Even if it downright terrified him, and still does, the thought of being with you is more then enough to motivate him into doing it.

“Don’t worry about me being scared, darling… For you, it’s worth it!”

He gets terrified whenever someone brings you home from the mines, or when you manage to get home, but with a dangerously low health bar. He literally shrieks when he sees you in such a state.

He almost starts crying as he patches you up. He already couldn’t bear to think of you hurt in any way, and seeing it was way worse then anything he could imagine. Losing you is the worst thing that ever crossed his mind, and he just wants you to be safe and happy.

When you wake up, you are met with Harvey sitting beside you, holding your hand tightly. The moment you say anything he’s on you, holding you gently as he rambles about how worried he was.

“Please… Please be careful next time dear… I don’t know what I’d do without you…”

This is unrelated to whats above, but he enjoys getting you little gifts you like and seeing your face light up. It just makes him feel giddy.

This also might be random, but he likes to hear you ramble about your passions. Even if he has literally no idea what you’re talking about, he likes to hear you out, and then educate himself on what you were talking about so he can be more engaging next time.

He tends to ramble about things he loves and enjoys, so he’d like if you could hear him out too! It makes him feel so loved, just because you’re listening to him.

He, like Sebastian, is a lot more affectionate in private. And he enjoys giving you massages! It helps with stress, and he just wants to make sure you’re comfortable and happy!

He is the best bachelor for when you’re injured or sick. He knows exactly what to do and how to comfort you.

If you guys have kids, he’ll be pretty nervous about anything and everything that could potentially hurt the baby. Expect the house to be baby proof x5. He might even baby proof the farm itself.

He’d also probably be one of the most knowledgeable bachelors when it comes to kids (besides Shane and Sam), since he read books on parenting and all sorts of other different books on the subject.

Overall, he’s a wonderful husband and lover to you. He just wants to ensure your health and happiness, while also making sure your relationship is nothing but loving! <333

Some General Haley Headcanons! <333

Okay, Haley is always made up to be completely rotten to her core, but she isn’t at all! I actually believe she’s very sweet, and gets tooth rotting sweet when it comes to you!

She loves you very, very much. She will make sure you and everyone knows it, and she has no shame in it!

With that said, I think she is perfectly comfortable with PDA, and probably encourages it. But if you’re uncomfortable with PDA, she won’t be mad in any degree. She’s more then happy to give you all her love when the two of you get home! <33

She likes to make sure you feel loved, albeit with a bit of teasing from her end. She takes in whatever love language most relates to you, and works her magic with it.

You feel more loved with physical touch? Well, come over here honey!

You like words of affirmation? She feels a bit flustered to say it out loud sometimes in a super lovey dovey way, but she doesn’t mind getting flushed up just to see you smile.

You want gifts? Have some pictures she took just because she thought you’d like them!

Speaking of photos, she most definitely has a scrapbook of your sweetest moments with her, and has a few albums for certain things and holidays, or like your wedding for example! If you two have children, she’ll have an album dedicated to them!

“Look at this one! Do you like the way it looks honey?”

She likes to be praised by you, or supported in any condition, so expect her to often approach you after taking photos, or starting or committing to another passion.

Also, yes, she would most definitely use some sweet nicknames for you, and honey is certainly one of them.

She doesn’t admit it out-loud too often, but she loves her sister Emily dearly. She often visits her after moving out.

And Emily is the best sister-in-law and Aunt! Expect you, and maybe kids if you have any, to be spoiled rotten.

And Alex is also in the same boat as Emily, being Haley’s best friend for the longest time.

Both like to tease Haley just how soft she is for you without realizing it, since, before you came into the valley, she was known as a little bit blunt and brutal. This gets her pretty flustered.

“D-Don’t make a big deal out of it! Y/n’s just… T-They’re just…!”

As mentioned, she gets a bit more flustered putting her feelings for you into words, so she often ends up in such a flushed up state she just stops talking, or she goes to you, pouting over how Emily and Alex just won’t leave her alone.

Unrelated, but if anyone ever said anything mean to you, hurt you in any way, or even try to even make a single passive aggressive comment, Haley will be on them, almost like a rabid dog.

She’d definitely fight someone for you, or chew them out and completely destroy any points they were trying to make. Most people end up in tears after Haley gets mad at them, so don’t be shocked if a person trying to pick a fight with you starts crying because your wife insulted their hairline or something.

She also would get jealous, but not in the way people usually write jealousy. She trusts you won’t do anything, but gets pouty and mad when people try to flirt or get touchy with you. Expect her to usually pull you away from that person, or express her frustration directly to that person for flirting with someone who’s taken.

But she’s obviously not mad at you! After a confrontation like that, she would check to make sure you’re okay too. She’d then shower you with her own love as you two walk home.

Also, she prefers to cuddle you. I have the firm belief she is a big spoon, but does end up wanting to be cuddled up with you at moments when she may be frustrated or pouting, or maybe when she’s in a super sentimental mood.

She enjoys taking care of you when you come home. She likes to cook you a nice dinner, or maybe turn on the bath for you if you want one.

But if you come back home from the mines in a bad state, or someone bring you home, she is a bit frustrated. She is a bit mad at you, but just because she was so worried.

“You better not come home like that again! Do you have any idea how worried I was?”

She understands you have to go back for your reasons, but she doesn’t want you to constantly come home like that.

But, like I said, she isn’t mad. Just very worried :((

At the end of the day, Haley really loves you, and is very firm but outwardly loving. You will never feel unloved with her, and she’ll make sure of that. <3

I’m actually going to group this request with an ask I got in a message format. So if you messaged me wanted Sebastian, this is also for you!

I’ve written some general fluffy headcanons for all the bachelors, so this one may be a little short! The headcanons themselves aren’t in any order either. I do hope you enjoy though! :DD

Some Sebastian Headcanons! <333

Sebastian is whipped for you.

He wants to do all that he can for you, no matter what it is. You’ve been there for him for such a long time. You heard him out about his problems, you actually acknowledged his opinions and passions, and you never left him out of anything. Not to mention he feels some sort of gratefulness that you feel any sort of love for him at all.

Normally people interpret him as some sort of bad boy in a relationship, and I guess you can interrupt it that way? However, I believe him to be quite gentle and sweet with you.

He isn’t big on PDA, feeling embarrassed to show much of it in town. He’d hold your hand, and can probably deal with a kiss on the cheek too. He can deal with more affection around people like Sam and Abigail though, since he’s a lot more comfortable with them. Plus, I imagine Sam is a pretty affectionate friend anyway.

As soon as you guys are in private, he’s all over you. He just melts in your arms as soon as you guys get inside of your shared home.

He also doesn’t mind to be cuddled up to you or you being cuddled up to him. He just wants you two to be together.

He isn’t really good at expressing his feelings into words, but he’ll try his best. He usually gets really flustered though, or second guesses himself.

“You know… I love you, right? I mean… That wasn’t stupid, right? Can I say that?”

There are times where he can suddenly tease you out of no where. It’s a complete 180 from how flustered Sebastian can really be.

“Are you blushing? *chuckle* You’re so cute…”

He likes to help you on the farm in anyway he can. Sure, he isn’t the best at it, but he wants to try.

He tends to stay calm under pressure, but gets somewhat panicked when you come home from the mines or someone else brings you home.

He’ll still act calm, but he’s filled with anxiety. He takes care of you, and then offers to come with you every-time you go to the mines. He knows that you’ll probably reject the idea every-time, but then insists you bring some things he made that’ll keep your health up the entire time you’re in the mines.

He gives you rides on his bike! And if you two end up with kids, he gets a little sidecar for you and the baby. The ends up getting a bigger car for the family if it grows.

He appreciates all the gifts you get him, so he gets you gifts too!

He also gives you his hoodie any time he sees you’re cold. I think no matter how tall you are, the hoodie will be baggy with the sleeves.

“Babe, you can’t go in the snow without a jacket, even if it is for the farm. Just take mine, okay? I can’t have you getting frozen solid.”

He doesn’t think he has a big role in the band, but appreciates you going to their concerts just to cheer for him.

He also enjoys when you are with him when he works or plays games, that being simply sitting by his side or even sitting on his lap.

He also wants you to be aware he loves you no matter what. He’ll do anything to assure you’re happy! <33

What Their Family Thinks About You {Some Stardew Valley Marriage Candidate’s}

Obviously not all the candidates are included in this one, and even some I didn’t write since they seemed very similar to another (like Haley’s was like Emily’s for example).

The characters included in this one includes Sebastian, Sam, Alex, Shane, Abigail, Emily, and Penny :))

TW: There’s angst in these headcanons, some headcanons including slightly heavy topics.

Sam:

Sam waited for a bit before properly introducing you as his significant partner. A part of him probably felt a little shy about it for some reason.

But Jodi already had a feeling you were dating. Sam made it pretty obvious since he was pretty bad at sneaking you in and sneaking himself out of the house, plus Sam get’s goo-goo eyes when he looks or talks about you, even before you two started dating. Not to mention the fact that Vincent constantly went to her and talked about how he saw the Farmer with Sam, and usually flustered Sam when he talked about you.

But Jodi was still ecstatic when Sam finally had the guts to tell her. She insisted that he brought you over ASAP for a family dinner.

She’s very kind to you. Well… She always was, right when you came to the valley. But it seems like she somehow became even sweeter the moment Sam showed interest in you. You were making her son happy, so of course that’d make her love you more!

You were always sweet anyway. You did your best to help the entire valley, not just her son.

Vincent also seemed to take a liking to you before you started dating Sam. You always played with him, and gave him little gifts when you could. Though, he did sometimes play the role of the little sibling who always (accidentally or purposely) stole the attention of the Farmer from Sam. And sure, it sometimes bothers Sam, but he doesn’t want to be mean to Vincent. He’s honestly just more happy that Vincent likes you at all.

And then there’s his father, Kent.

Kent is a bit harder to get closer with, considering the things he’s been through. He’s not mean to you by any means, but he’s just a little hesitant to build up more relationships.

He warms up to you, slowly but surely. He’s glad you’ve been there for his wife and kids, and he’s happy that Sam is happy with you. He’ll become more talkative with you as time goes on, and start showing his appreciation with sending you some useful things in the mail and such.

The family all treat you as their own, and Sam is more than pleased! He knew his family would love you, but it still excited him that they do!

Jodi invites you to dinner at least once a week, and there, Vincent always wants to play with you. And even if Kent is usually pretty quiet, he asks you about the farm, and you guys sometimes chit-chat about certain topics when you come over. Then the evening is finished off with a lovely dinner from Jodi.

When you and Sam head off to your shared home, you jump when Sam wraps his arms around you. You’re confused for a moment, but melt when Sam gives you a loving smile.

“Thanks for getting along with my family… I don’t know how I got so lucky .”

Sam is usually pretty excitable and loud. But this time, he’s more quiet. It’s oddly sentimental.

“Aww… You’re getting all red in the face, sunshine! You’re so cute…”

Shane:

Shane probably didn’t feel a need to really hide his relationship, since Marnie, like Jodi, could tell that Shane loved you. As for Jas, she helped push you to give Shane a bouquet, so of course she knew too.

But he partially did want to hide away from Marnie at the beginning of your relationship, since she liked to tease you two a whole lot. She usually did with a whole lot of teasing puns, which made it feel worse for Shane.

But after the whole teasing phase, she’s very warm and kind to you. She often lets you know how appreciative she is that you had helped Shane through such a hard time in his life. She admitted to you she had almost given up, but you had come into the valley, and she believed you to practically be an angel.

Jas also adored your company. Warming up to Shane caused Jas to warm up to you as well, to the point where, like Vincent, she also wanted to play with you all the time, sometimes taking you away from Shane.

Shane didn’t do anything to stop her. It warmed his heart Jas liked you so much. It made him love you even more then he already did. He constantly thanked you for spending time with her, and showing her so much kindness.

I don’t think Marnie would invite you to dinner, but not because she dislikes you. She invites Lewis to dinner all the time, and if you play/watch Stardew Valley, you should know why dinner isn’t an option.

But, Jas does like to come to your house to dinner, if you’re fine with it of course. She also likes to spend time with you and Shane both, so you three constantly do fun things together.

Also, I’ve said this before, but there’s a headcanon I’ve seen in the past of Jas potentially living with Shane after he moves in with you. If she couldn’t live there 100% of the time, she’d at least have a room there.

One of Jas’s favorite moments was learning to bake with you two. Shane didn’t really have experience baking, but you’ve baked before after getting some recipes from ‘The Queen of Sauce’ and from some of the villagers in the valley.

After you had taught Shane and Jas how to bake one of her favorites, a strawberry cake, you three sat around the table, Jas kicking her legs happily as she took a bite of her slice of cake. She glanced up at you and Shane, seeing you giving his a kiss on the cheek as you handed him a soda.

“Thanks pumpkin.”

Jas watched as he fiddled with his mermaids pendent while staring at you, as you got a piece of cake for yourself too. He looked completely whipped for you, and even Jas could tell he was utterly in love. Suddenly, a question popped up in her mind. She paused before she looked up at Shane.

“Uncle Shane?”

“Yeah?”

“Are you and Y/n going to give me a cousin soon?”

Shane then proceeded to almost choke on his drink as you stood there is a flustered haze.

Abigail:

Abigail actually told her mother, Caroline, immediately when you guys got together. She just couldn’t keep it a secret when she was this excited! However, she wasn’t excited when it came to her dad… She did not want to tell Pierre.

I feel most of us have the general agreement that Pierre is one of the worst people in the valley. He just isn’t that nice of a person, and I feel like Abigail is smart enough to see that. She loves her dad, but he’s painfully traditional and greedy. He tends to make her angry because of how annoyingly ignorant he can be sometimes.

She knew she’d have to tell him one day, but not now. So, she asked her mom to keep quiet, at least for awhile. And Caroline thankfully does like you, and she was aware of her husband’s nature and how it could come off. So, she agreed, but wanted Abigail to tell him eventually.

It was probably a bit awkward for you to be shopping at Pierre’s while he remained unknowing of your relationship with his daughter, but it was honestly a blissful two months of silence from Pierre.

And then one day, Caroline had finally had enough, and told Pierre. She meant no ill will, but she thought it’d only be a week or two of not saying anything, not two months.

And Pierre was not happy. Abigail got in trouble with her father, and he even almost picked a fight with you. So now, Abigail wasn’t happy with her mother or her father.

But this didn’t hurt your relationship, Abigail loved you dearly, she always has!

But after this, Pierre only got worse in Abigail’s eyes. His initial anger wore off, sure, but then his greedy side came in.

He started trying to convince you to “share a family business.” And at first, you did give him some of your crops, since you did want him to like you, but then he sold the crops that were yours and claimed them as his own, and called the bad crops he grew yours. It was salt in the wound when he paid you less then what your crops were worth.

When Abigail caught wind of this, she was furious.

“Dad, you can’t just take Y/n’s money like that! Who do you think you are!?”

You felt bad it strained their relationship a bit, but Abigail assured you it wasn’t your fault.

Even if Pierre wasn’t the best, Caroline did try her best. She and Abigail were on bad terms for a moment after Caroline told Pierre, but Abigail forgave her shortly after, since she could understand where her mom was coming from. Plus, Caroline did make Pierre pay the actual worth of your crops, and even secretly told some of the villagers that they were indeed your crops (but sadly framed it as a mix up instead of the actual story).

You also noticed something odd… The Wizard was being nicer to you! But thats probably just a coincidence… Right?

After you two got married, Pierre tried harder to start a business with you, but you rejected it over and over. Abigail eventually told him to stop bothering you, causing further strain.

You confessed to Abigail you still felt bad over the whole incident, and she oddly she just giggled at this.

“Y/n, you’re too sweet. I keep telling you it’s not your fault! I love you, so of course I’m going to defend you. I always will.”

Emily:

Emily was pretty excited getting into the relationship, and it didn’t take long for her to want you to spend more time with her sister.

Haley, of course, knew you were in a relationship with Emily. Emily never stopped talking about you even before the relationship, and when she came home with the bouquet, cheering and practically running around the house, Haley put the pieces together pretty quickly.

And sure, Haley met you, and you two knew each other, but she wasn’t sure if she approved of you quite yet. She knew you were nice, since practically everyone in town wouldn’t shut up about you, but she really loves her sister, and wants to make sure the person her sister loves isn’t a bad person, y’know?

So, Emily invited you to dinner after her sister insisted. Honestly, you were slightly intimidated. Haley is a bit ruthless at times, sometimes described as mean, so you wanted to make a good impression.

So, you had brought gifts for the two of them, and Haley was surprised that you had gotten not only Emily a gift she loved, but you also got a gift for Haley, and it was also a gift she loved.

Then, throughout the evening, you had continued to make a good impression. You treated Emily so well and showed an interest in what Haley liked. You never said anything remotely mean to either of them, or even anything shady about any of the villagers.

Soon, Emily excused herself to the bathroom, leaving you and Haley alone. You were about to start a conversation about a topic she’d enjoy, but she interrupted you.

“Alright… Listen… I can already tell you’ll be a good fit for my sister. You seem really nice, and you treat my sister well. It also gives you points you aren’t like that creep Clint… But just promise me that you’ll treat her well for a long time, okay? I swear to god if you ever make her cry I’ll kick your ass.”

Of course you promised Haley, but then you two heard a loud “aww” from the doorway.

Haley was beyond embarrassed her sister heard all of that, but Emily was swooning, thinking it was the sweetest thing in the world.

“Were you standing there the entire time?!”

“I couldn’t help myself! It was just so sweet to hear!”

Penny:

You were well aware that Pam wasn’t the best at times, so it was understandable Penny was included on the group of people who would prefer your relationship remain on the down low for awhile.

But Penny is the sweetest person in the valley (besides Evelyn of course), so she didn’t want to hide it for a long time. After all, she loved her mom despite her faults. It was just kind of hard to start a conversation about relationships with her.

You offered to be there when Penny told her, but Penny insisted she wanted to tell her alone. It wasn’t that she didn’t want you there, but she felt as if Pam might take it wrongly at first since Penny kept it quiet for a little while.

And she was right. Pam took it as if she was embarrassed of her or something, which wasn’t the case at all. Pam needed time to cool off, and when she came back to Penny, she was still irritated. She gave Penny the silent treatment for a couple days, which really hurt her feelings. Luckily, you were there at her side, so it made it a little easier.

“Thank you, honey… I don’t know what I’d do if you weren’t by my side.”

Pam was conflicted. She wanted Penny to be happy, but felt like this was the start of losing Penny, since her daughter was really the only thing she really has. The fact Penny didn’t say anything didn’t help, and seemed to make Pam think that this was her reality now. Not to mention she didn’t really have a good experience with love, Penny’s father leaving the two of them.

Pam had thought about it a lot at the saloon. She realized after a few days that Penny couldn’t have meant anything bad by it, since it really wasn’t in Penny’s nature, she knew that. And you weren’t like her ex-husband. Even if you two didn’t really talk much, you had the kindness to literally buy her and Penny a house. But she still felt like she would lose Penny either way.

Pam accepts your relationship, but isn’t really excited about it like some of the family members on this list.

When Penny inevitably moves out, it continues to eat at her.

But Penny makes the effort to visit her mother, and invite her to holidays. Pam doesn’t always go to the farm for the holidays, but sometimes she comes and visits.

After awhile, she realizes you are good for Penny, way better then she was. It still doesn’t make her excited, and it even eats up at her more.

Penny is a bit disheartened her mother doesn’t seem happy for her, but she knows she can’t always help her, no matter how hard she tries. She does try to constantly remind her mother she’s always there for her, but Pam is stubborn.

Regardless, Penny is still happy with you and Pam, even if it isn’t the happiest ending.

Sebastian:

Sebastian didn’t want to tell his family for so many reasons.

The biggest reason was that, in his eyes, they wouldn’t really care anyway.

Maybe his mom would, but Demetrius definitely wouldn’t, and Maru is pretty indifferent to things involving him. She won’t jump for joy if something good happens in his life, but she wouldn’t laugh or make his life worse if something bad happened. He’s also in no contact with his biological father, so it’s not like he can tell him, even if he wanted to.

A part of his did want to express his joy with his family, or for them to be happy for him, but he wasn’t even included in the little things, so he doubted they’d care if he started dating someone, even if it was a relationship as serious as yours.

He is glad he can express his happiness with Sam and Abigail though, and they don’t mind listening, no matter if he babbled about you or not.

He eventually does tell his mom after she admits someone had told her about you and Sebastian. She cares a lot more then Demetrius and Maru, and feels guilty the reason why he didn’t tell them in the first place, not to mention that she didn’t even notice for a long time.

Robin happened to tell Demetrius and Maru. As Sebastian predicted, Demetrius didn’t care, and often forgot about it entirely. Maru frustrated Sebastian quite a bit when she expressed her surprise that someone like Y/n would date someone like him. She didn’t really mean it in a bad way, but it defiantly came out in such a way.

Robin seemed like the only one who made an effort to connect with you. She tried to push Demetrius and Maru and get involved, but they expressed no interest, Maru usually being busy and Demetrius being a shitty step-dad.

One day, out of no where, Sebastian had said something that truly made your heart ache;

“… I’m sorry my family is a bit distant from me. I know it can hurt your feelings, but it isn’t your fault at all. It’s mine…”

It was truly painful to hear Sebastian blame himself for that kind of this when it really wasn’t his fault either. You were quick to assure him that you loved him, not his family. You assured him it wasn’t his fault either.

He sighed, melting into your hands.

“Thank you… I just… I love you, and I want to make sure you’re happy.”

Of course you’re happy. Who wouldn’t be happy with someone as sweet as him? <33

Alex:

Alex doesn’t really have parents to introduce you to like in the movies. It bothers him a bit, since a part of him did want those cheesy moments where you introduce your significant other to your parents, who swoon over your partner and express how much they support and love the relationship.

But he didn’t have that. It was pretty hard to think about, so he tried to concern himself with more bright topics, like his grandmother, Evelyn.

Evelyn already accepted you with open arms since you came to the valley, and that didn’t change when Alex introduced you as his significant other.

She was even more delighted that you and Alex were together. You were so sweet, and you would be such a delightful addition to the family.

Alex was a bit disappointed that George is a bit more pessimistic and bitter, so he wasn’t necessarily welcoming, but Alex knew he should have expected that since his grandpa was a grump.

He was still grateful for them, don’t get me wrong. Even if George is grumpy, you were still welcomed into the family by Evelyn. She constantly made you feel like you did belong there, and made you both aware that she supported and love your relationship.

“Oh… You are such a sweetheart… I know that if you had the chance to meet Clara, she would adore you so much.”

Evelyn saying that to you made Alex choke up. He did end up crying with you in private, but not because Evelyn hurt his feelings, of course not. Just the thought of Clara meeting you was so emotional to think about.

… However… Alex always had the fear his past would come back to haunt him. He always feared his dad may try to interfere with his life at some point. He knew his dad had no idea where he could be if he did try to find him, but the fear was always there.

He confessed this to you in private, and you were quick to be by his side, promising him that his dad would never find him, and if he tried, you would be by his side. The idea of you doing something like that for him made his love for you grow even more so.

“… I love you. I really appreciate you always being here for me like this.”

Some General Fluff for the Stardew Valley Bachelors! <33

Here are some fluffy and romantic headcanons for the beloved Stardew Valley bachelors! I wrote some general headcanons for Elliott, but I wanted to write some more fluffy things for all the candidates. So if you see some things from Elliott’s general headcanons, I’m sorry! </3

I have some drafts for the bachelorettes coming soonish. So don’t worry if you love the bachelorettes, because I love them too :,]

But I do hope you enjoy!

Elliott:

I’ve said this in my general headcanons, but Elliott is one of, if not, the most attentive lover in Stardew Valley. He’s always paying attention to every detail about you, since he adores you so!

He’s also very understanding of wanting affection, he’s pretty affectionate himself. He doesn’t mind you getting affectionate with him any time of the day.

And I personally imagine him to be pretty lovesick when it comes to you, and very open about it to essentially anyone.

He loves kissing your hands and forehead, no matter the height. However, if you’re taller then him, then he’d also enjoy kissing your jawline.

And his hugs are so warm and sweet. It might sound weird, but he has a lovely scent, and that seems to make hugs and cuddling up all the more comforting.

His nicknames include darling, my love, sweetness, my treasure, etc. It might sound extra to some but he loves those types of nicknames! <3

He leaves you romantic poems and letters pretty much all over the place. I guarantee, even if you’re the type that can’t get flustered easily, that you’ll be a flushed up tomato after reading them.

He’d love if you played with his hair, maybe even put it in a certain hairstyle. It’s just very comforting to him.

And I’ve said this before too, he’d love to read to you. If you guys have children, he’ll read to them too. He’ll even read to your animals, he just wants to read :,]

Sometimes he has a hard time finding inspiration for his writing, but you always come at the right time and fill his mind with the most romantic thoughts that he’d turn into an entire novel.

At the end of the day, when you return home, he’s always there for you with open arms. He lets you eat while he gets a bath ready for you. After such a relaxing and caring welcome home, its off to bed with the both of you.

“My love, you look exhausted! Here, let me take care of you…”

Shane:

Shane was a little awkward at the start of the relationship. Not in a bad way, of course! I imagine he hasn’t really dated many people, so he’s not quite sure how to go about some things. He really loves you, and he doesn’t want to ruin anything. But after a bit of reassurance and some time, he’d be pretty relaxed, with occasional worries.

He sometimes worries that he isn’t good enough for you, so please assure him how much you love him :((

He really tries his best to make you happy in anyway he can. He holds you to such a high regard and just wants to help you like you helped him so many times.

He enjoys helping you take care of the animals (mostly the chickens), and it makes your life a bit easier to manage.

I think he’d love to kiss your shoulders and cheeks. And I know people always think he’s rough or something, but I actually think he’s very gentle, especially with you :))

He has warm hugs. And he’d probably enjoy hugging you from behind.

I think he’d have oddly sweet nicknames, like pumpkin, sweetpea, and buttercup. He doesn’t usually use them a ton, mostly because he sometimes get’s a little flustered just how soft he can be.

He would really like if Jas could come visit the farm, maybe play with the animals, or spend time with your kids if you have any.

I’ve also seen a cute headcanon of her just living there in general instead of living with Marnie. Either way, he really cares about Jas, since she is practically his adopted daughter in some way, and he wants to spend time with her.

He’s all smiles when he sees you playing with Jas, or just showing her any sort of kindness at all.

Speaking of smiles, he’s a lot happier now. When he looks at old pictures of himself, he thinks it’s pretty bizarre how far he’s come. Any picture from the past, even just a little bit before you came into the valley, he seemed a lot different. Even if he’s a bit self conscious at times, he is definitely proud of who he’s become.

As you fix up a dinner for the both of you, he comes up from behind you. It one of his sentimental moments, he wraps his arms around you and rests his chin on your shoulder.

“It smells great sweetpea… Can’t believe how lucky I am to have you.”

Sebastian:

Sebastian is just so sweet- oh my goodness… I might be bias, but he is just so loving.

He just melts like putty when it comes to you. He’d pretty much do whatever you want (like when he dances with you at the flower dance after you’re married even when feeling embarrassed from being watched). Like Shane and Elliott, he just wants to make you happy and to feel loved.

He says it in game, but he wasn’t really appreciated at home, and essentially casted out of certain things. But you include him in everything, and you don’t treat him unfairly or make him feel bad about anything. It makes him fall even more in love with you.

He has a lot of anxiety, but you’re always there to comfort him, and you never judge him for it. It’s really comforting to him.

He also quits smoking for you. It takes awhile, so please be patient with him. But I promise you he’s going to fulfill his promise and quit. He loves you so much!

As for kisses… I think he’d kiss you anywhere. I suppose the main places he kisses you are your lips and your head. I didn’t really include these for the others, but he loves it when you kiss his neck. It makes him flush up and shiver.

He’s likes to switch it up when it comes to cuddling up together. He loves it when you’re laying on his chest, but he also loves to lay on you too.

His nicknames are probably pretty casual, like babe, darling, beautiful, etc… But there’s also a part of me that wants to say when he gets really soft, a nickname like honey might slip out.

I think it’d be adorable if, when he’s on the computer, you’d just sit beside him, or in his lap while he’s working or playing video games.

Sam and Abigail would be pretty shook to come visit one day and see the usual quiet Sebastian suddenly become lovesick and talkative around you. They probably think you’re a god tbh

But don’t get me wrong, he isn’t big on PDA. Sure, he’d hold your hand, or do some small affectionate things, but he gets pretty embarrassed about it. But when you two are alone, he’s all over you.

If you two have kids, he talks about renting a car and having a little roadtrip. And he also makes sure his kids get along, since him and Maru don’t get along. He also wants to be the best dad he can :DD

And he’s always there in the morning, a cup of coffee prepared for your sleepy self and nothing but admiration written on his face.

“Morning beautiful, did you sleep well? I made you a cup of coffee to get your day started.”

Sam:

Your relationship started like a teenage love story, with you literally sneaking into his room through the window and hiding in the bed sheets when his mom came into the room.

And, to be honest, Sam kinda acts like the generic love interest at the start of the relationship; super flustered about being with the person he’d been fantasizing about while trying to act super cool about it.

Eventually, like Sebastian, he relaxes, but he still has his moments of being super flustered and trying to act like its no big deal, despite being so in love he felt lightheaded.

He also likes to show you off, or brag about you. Sebastian and Abigail constantly hear about how amazing you are and all the great things about you.

He is quite tall, and I’m pretty sure he’s the only person who crouches down to kiss you. So by default, his favorite place to his you in your head/forehead. But he’ll be more then happy to bend down to give you a kiss on the lips.

Since we’re on the topic of him being a tall lad, hugging him is essentially just hugging a tree. But it is pretty comforting!

And his nicknames are pretty generic to many, but his go to is usually babe. He does sometimes call you sunshine. :)))

He also likes to give you piggyback rides, and if you have kids, he’ll put them on his shoulders.

Sam also does anything and everything with a lot of energy. Sure, he can have his chill moments, but with you, if feels like he has even more energy than usual.

I also imagine he hums a lot. Most of the time, the music he hums is pretty upbeat, and even gets you pumped up. But when you’re curled up together, maybe sharing a sentimental moment, he starts humming something slow, and more lullaby like.

And I oddly imagine him getting pretty good at cooking. He would beg his mom to teach him a few things just so he can make you some nice food.

He offers to teach you how to play guitar. He sits behind you, gently guiding you to each string.

“There you go, babe! You’re a natural at this. You might even get better at this then me!”

Harvey:

He’s a very, very loving husband.

Like most of the spouses, he will do anything to make you happy, and will cater to your every want and need.

He gets pretty good at cooking, and often makes whatever you’re feeling that day.

That being said, he’d definitely make you a romantic dinner, its literally a heart event for him. He’d like to have a dinner at least every week if you’re up for it.

He is a soft and vanilla man. His favorite place to kiss you is definitely on the lips. Even after you guys are in a relationship, he gets flustered anytime you kiss him on any part of his body. He turns bright red.

He sometimes gets flustered when hugging or cuddling too. He’s also very gentle with you, almost as if he’s afraid to hurt you in anyway (even if he’d never hurt a fly).

He usually calls you by your name, but his nicknames are adorable, especially coming for someone like him, who’s still a little shy about it. He likes you call you dear, darling, and honey whenever nicknames do slip, and every time he calls you a nickname he smiles shyly and flushes up once more.

Like some of the others, he’s pretty self conscious. He fears he won’t be enough, similar to Shane, or he may be holding you back. And he worries that him becoming flustered over every romantic thing may bother you. Please assure him, he’s just so shy and sweet :((

He is also constantly worried for you. You going into the mines and facing off monsters is dreadful to even think about.

His fears amplified when you would come home, your health dangerously low as you pass out on the floor upon coming inside.

He knows it isn’t really possible to stop you, but he begs you to be careful every time you leave for another dangerous place. He’s so worried he may even start tearing up.

The first time you had come home covered in wounds and such, he patched you up with misty eyes, making sure to gently treat you fully, no matter how small some of the wounds may be.

“Please be careful, dear… I know you’re strong, but I can’t stand to see you come home like this. The thought of losing you just makes me so scared!”

Alex:

He is oddly super flustered when you guys get together. You may not expect it since he seems so confident to most people, but he is super surprised you feel the same way about him.

He’s kinda like Sam where he tries to play it cool, even if the smallest thing can make him a tomato.

Unlike Sam, he gets a little less flustered farther into the relationship. He even starts teasing and flirting with you (which he could barely manage before).

His favorite places to kiss you are the lips and your neck. He doesn’t really have a specific reason for why he likes to kiss your neck, but it might be because you sometimes get flustered over it, which makes him feel like he accomplished something.

I am apparently alone with this but I think he leans more to being a little spoon when you cuddle. But he’s be a big spoon if you desired.

And hugging him is like getting invited to… m u s c l e s

And his nicknames may be considered generic, like angel/angelcakes, babe/baby, beautiful, etc.

He’d probably be like Sam where he likes to pick you up, but leans towards picking you up bridal style.

And he’d definitely be the type to pick up up and spin you around when you two hug.

He also tries to seem calm when you leave to go into the mines, but he always panics right after you leave. He’s horribly afraid of losing you, and his act of being calm and relaxed breaks so quickly the moment you step into the house injured or something bring you to him.

His grandparents also love you (mostly Evelyn). Before you two got married, Evelyn would constantly ask when the wedding would take place.

As you two are heading off to bed, tucked into the sheets, Alex gives you a kiss on the neck as he hugs you tightly from behind, as if he’s afraid that you won’t be there if he let go.

“I really love you, ya’ know? I hope you let me be here with you for the rest of our lives.”

Thank you so much Anon! I’m so sorry it took awhile to get to your request, I’ve been pretty busy as of recent but I should be a bit more free! Plus we got some more Stardew Valley Headcanons on the way, which includes all marriage candidates, including the lovely Elliott! 😉

I decided to make some general Elliott headcanons for you! This is my first ask so I really hope you enjoy it! They aren’t in any particular order, but I hope you like it! ><

Some General Elliott Headcanons! <333

Elliott, in my eyes, is the most attentive lover!

I’ve said this in my last headcanon for Elliott, but he admires every detail of you. Any minor change he will notice.

With that said, he swoons over every detail. He adores you! He’s adored you since you introduced yourself to the valley!

And I mean EVERY detail. It can be anything, such as eye color, hair length, freckles, scars, rosey cheeks, ANYTHING.

That doesn’t just go for your physical appearance, it also applies to your personality. He adores everything you might find insignificant, and like your physical appearance, he will notice any mood change so unbelievably quick.

This man just really, REALLY loves and appreciates you and everything you do, and he will make sure you know it.

If you are every self conscious about any of these things, he’s so quick to dote on you. You shouldn’t feel that way about yourself, you’re such a beautiful person! <33

“My dear… Every part of you is simply perfect. I’m truly the luckiest man in the world to have someone like you as my partner.”

He would be a man who loves to kiss your hands and your forehead.

Hands is a no brainer… He seems like such a gentleman! He’d kiss your hand as a greeting, and most likely ends up doing it randomly throughout the day.

Forehead because I believe him to be pretty tall. If you’re taller than him, that’s perfectly fine! He’d still like to kiss your forehead if so, but also kiss your jawline.

I also have a FIRM belief he’d be one of the best people to hug in the valley!

He seems like he has such a warm embrace, and he’d hold his arms out for a hug whenever you needed or wanted one.

“My love, you’re so affectionate today! Don’t get me wrong, I truly every second.”

If someone had ever dared to say or do anything to you, Elliott would have a word with the individual.

He isn’t the fighting type, and would prefer using his words rather than his fists. Usually his words actually work! He either confuses them since his vocabulary is so advanced or he roasts them, and they usually can’t reply since his words truly hold a lot of weight to them.

Afterwards, he’d do anything to make you feel better! A bath, a nice dinner, say what you want and you’ll have it!

He’s a very caring and supportive lover. You supported his writing, and you were there for him for every little thing. He won’t let you be down, and he’ll cheer you on no matter the endeavor. However, he’d prefer the endeavor not have a risk for injury, such as the mines.

Don’t get me wrong, he believes in you, but always worries you won’t come home to him :((

He would love if you played and instrument or sang when he plays the piano. It’d be so lovely, and it’d inspire him a ton!

He also loves to read to you! And if you two had children on your farm, he’d read to all three of you. It’d probably end up with you and your kids asleep on Elliott, who dared not to move, even if he wasn’t tired.

He would also love if you played with his hair, or put it in some sort of hairstyle! It’s fine if you can’t, of course! He just loves to feel your touch, and feeling your hands brush through his hair is oddly soothing to him.

He’s such a romantic! He brings you flowers, writes you poetry, and has even tampered with writing a song for you at one point!

Overall, a 10/10 husband and lover! He will always make you feel loved and adored!

When You’re Sick {Stardew Valley Bachelors}

Elliott:

“Oh, my love… You’re looking pale! Please, sit down…”

Oh he is so worried :((

And he notices it like… so fast. You don’t even really have a chance of hiding it. He’s always admiring every detail about you, so even a minor change will have his attention.

If you’re insisting about work, he won’t care. You will be forced to lay down and rest. And he will not hear a no.

He will rush to go get medication for you, or food. Or really anything you need or want. He’ll go get it in a heartbeat.

And he’ll pretty much always be by your side. He’ll probably get sick too.

“Here my darling… I’ve brought you some soup. I also picked up some medication for you. Here… Try to take a bite for me, okay?”

Shane:

“Hey… You should sit down… What do you mean why? You’re clearly sick.”

He is also someone who could tell pretty quickly. But not as quickly as Elliot… And here’s why I think so:

He’s gotten sick a lot, mostly after drinking too much alcohol. After he quit though, his health has gotten a lot better. He didn’t really consider being sick, almost as if he had forgotten other people can get sick too.

But he does get the signs quickly. He just… studies you for a minute. Then its like a lightbulb went off in his head when he realizes what’s wrong. Then he says something about it.

But he’s actually very insistent on you resting! He’s more than happy to take care of you. Especially since you had taken care of him so many times.

He’s not really good at farming, but he will take care of the livestock while you’re sick. He’s better with the chickens but he still treats every animal well!

He’s also taken care of Jas when she was sick. And sure, it may be different, but it still helps just a little. He has some clarification on what to do.

“Don’t worry, the animals are all taken care of… Just rest. I’ll try to cook up something.”

Sebastian:

“Woah! Hey… Darling, are you okay?”

He didn’t really notice until you almost fell over. It’s not that he wouldn’t see it if he wasn’t distracted… He was just working on breakfast as a little surprise. Luckily, he caught you just before you hand landed onto the ground.

He felt your head, and sure enough, you were burning up. He gently carried you off to bed.

He gave you the breakfast he prepared but he wasn’t sure if you’d keep it down. He’d be thankful if it did, but if it didn’t, thats fine, there’s no need to worry. He does end up calling his mom at one point for the pumpkin soup recipe.

He’ll also take care of the farm. He might not be the best at it but he’s trying his best

And actually worries about you a lot, maybe more than you know. He’ll try to hide just how worried he is but you could probably tell.

He’ll trying to get tips from his mom along with that pumpkin soup recipe. He just wants to make sure you will be okay.

“What? No, don’t worry… I took care of the farm, and I fully intend on taking care of you, okay?”

Sam:

“Mornin’ babe! I just finished some breakfast-…! Wait… You aren’t lookin’ too good… Here, lets get you to bed.”

He didn’t really put it together for a second. But, like Shane, he also has a younger family member who had gotten sick quite a few times. And for Vincent, he probably got sick more often than Jas. Sam had watched his mom take care of his brother, and he also helped out when he could. So after a second, it registered, and he sent you back to bed.

Sam still called his mom though. She gave him some recipes and some medicine recommendations for the way you were feeling. She’d probably end up dropping the medicine off since Sam didn’t want to leave your side.

Speaking of not leaving your side, Sam is literally not going anywhere. He’d probably end up getting sick too.

The farm is left alone for the day, and while Sam would love to help, he has literally no idea what to do.

He seems calm, but you know he’s worried, probably based on how clingy he was. But he’s a little less worried then everyone else. He tries to joke around with you or to cheer you up. You being cheered up really eased his worries.

He may play calming music if your head isn’t aching.

“I just want you to get better… It sucks to see you like this babe.”

Harvey:

“Dear, I wouldn’t suggest moving… It’s pretty obvious you’re sick…”

He’s a doctor, so he notices like five times faster than Elliott.

He pretty much saw it the moment you woke up, whether that be the facial expressions you make realizing you’re in pain or maybe he noticed how your forehead was hot or how you were sweating to a concerning amount.

Like everyone else, he forces you to bed. He may be a soft sweetheart, but he will be oddly more determined and insistent on this matter.

He’s so sweet though… And he doesn’t do anything wrong.

He gives you medication that makes you feel better more quickly, he gives you ice packs or heating pads, whatever you need.

He will make you food and will make sure it won’t make you sick in any kind of way.

I’m sure he forgets about the farm. He doesn’t purposely ignore it! It’s just he’s so focused on you it’s like everything else disappeared.

He’d probably ask Mary to be in charge of the clinic. Obviously she isn’t certified in any way, but he gets her to promise to give him a call if anyone comes in. But it shouldn’t be a problem, he usually isn’t busy.

100/10, probably the best bachelor to take care of you.

“Here, this should do the trick… It’s medicine to help with your headache! Say ‘Ah’ for me, okay?”

Alex:

“Hey, I noticed you aren’t getting out of bed like you usually do… What’s wrong, baby?”

He didn’t think you were sick honestly, he probably just thought you had a nightmare or you just didn’t feel like getting up. Or maybe you were just feeling sad that day.

He never really gets sick. It kinda slipped his mind people could get sick, kinda like Shane. But when you explain what’s wrong, he is quick to get on his feet.

While you’re resting, he’ll call Evelyn for some advice. He’ll also call Haley! It might seem like a bad choice but Haley has a sister, and they’re friends! She’d know more than he would honestly.

He’ll cook you a nice breakfast, and while you eat, he waters the crops for you! He waters them very quickly though… Like you just finish breakfast and he’s already done!

He’s worried, and over a call with Evelyn, expresses his worries. She, being the innocent, purest soul of the valley, eases him though. You will be perfectly fine, and you just need rest! That calms him down, and makes him a bit chipper too! If Evelyn says you will be fine, you are going to be fine. He trusts her word.

It’s a small detail, but he like… carries you everywhere. You aren’t walking. You want a shower? Here, he’ll bring you there… Want some fresh air? Only for a second! And you’re going to be stuck in his arms.

“Don’t worry angel, grandma said you’re going to be perfectly fine! Now wait here, I’ll go run you a bath.”
