I find thea and kevin's relationship really weird and I also think kevin and allison would be so hot together, so my headcanon is that allison and kev were friends with benefits and ended up having a daughter by accident, but they love her so much. allison starts dating renee and kev finds his first friend not associated with exy, he meets him in kindergarten, he is the father of one of amalia's schoolmates and he also hates the moms and dads in the whatsapp group and maybe he falls in love with the guy

kevin and thea is the worst ship (after kevin and riko. if you ship that shit you’re disgusting). she’s too much of a raven for kevin to truly escape the horrors of his past. she would just remind him too much of his past, his abuse. like goddamnit why do authors always feel the need to write off their side characters as straight with a relationship with that really doesn’t work simply for the sake of calling it a day and making them straight. like, you can make other characters lgbt without it being their entire personality??? not every character needs to be written off as straight just because they’re not involved in the central romance. (secondary characters should be able to explore their sexuality too !!! fucking fight me)

personally i think our boi kevin needs someone who isn’t tied to exy, no? obviously kevin loves exy, but...it was never really his choice,right? it was something he’s always known. born into.raised to play,to be a star.to obsess.exy is his life, he can’t have anything that’s not a part of it. right? but if kevin chooses someone outside of exy, well that’s completely for him. they’re someone that isn’t tied at ALL to his traumatic past. also, obviously kevin day is the best at fucking exy. his partner not being an exy player? mr day doesn’t have that superiority over them.it grounds him. and he likes it. okay? he likes it. a lot. hes not kevin day, exy star. or kevin day, teammate who screams a lot and whos only personality trait is exy exy exy. having someone steers him back to reality is good for him, it helps him develop as a person and learn more about himself and his personality. not to mention,his lover is the furthest thing from everything he was trapped by; they help him to recover. they help him realise that he isn’t just kevin day, striker. exy legend. he’s so much more. kevin’s partner not being involved in exy gives him a place that’s free from the court, from exy, from everything he’s ever known . something in his life that isn’t tied to fucking stickball. he needs exy because it’s all he’s ever known and he can’t let go, but he also needs something ( or someone ) new that aids his recovery process to becoming a person. his own person.
