You and Choso are good friends and both live at Jujutsu high as you share “custody” of Yuji.
One night Choso has a nightmare and instantly thinks of you and how comforting you are to him, and so he crawls out of his bed and shuffles down the hall to your room.
He quietly opens the door and stands in the doorway for a moment, observing how peaceful and deep you seem to be in sleep.
His heart breaks at the thought of accidentally waking you, but he’s too scared to go back to his room and the nightmares that linger there.
So he decides to gently crawl onto the bed and lay on the covers, careful not to bother you as he settles down.
He does briefly consider how you might react, but then his mind flashes to the curse in his dreams and he guiltily settles down to sleep.
He’s curled up next to your side, just barely resting his head on your arm.
He almost instantly falls asleep in your company, finding your existence and closeness alone to be all the comfort he needs.
You wake up first, and almost immediately tense at the sound of someone lightly snoring beside you.
You glance over and your eyes fall onto Choso’s face, which is scrunched up in a dream as he sleeps.
Your cheeks warm at the sight, but you quickly notice his shaking body.
He’d slept without any covers, just his clothes, and your massive fan is blowing harsh, cold air right at him.
You attempt to get up to grab him a blanket, but a hand grips onto your arm as you move.
You look down and watch as Choso yawns and opens his eyes, his cheeks heating immediately when he realizes he’s been caught.
“Y/n!” he says quickly, scrambling to push himself up. “I-I didn’t- I’m sor- I just-“
“Choso,” you say, gently resting a hand on his arm, “it’s okay. I’m not mad, okay? Did something happen?”
Choso sighs briefly, looking down and fidgeting with the sheets below him before slowly nodding.
“Can you tell me so I can try to help?”
“I just…had a bad dream…” he replies, embarrassment flooding his features.
“I’m sorry,” you say, giving him a soft smile. “It’s not quite morning yet, why don’t you slip under the sheets and get some more rest, okay?”
Choso nods but hesitates, his eyes staying stuck on the sheets.
“Choso?”
“Will you stay?” he blurts out, more heat flooding his face. “I…you comfort me.”
You let a small smile come to your lips as you nod, patting the bed beside you for him to slip under and lay down.
Choso does so quickly, instantly finding relief from the cold fan as he lets the layers of sheets and blankets fall on him.
You lay down yourself and turn to face him, and he does the same to face you with a shy smile.
“Th-thank you,” he replies softly, his eyelids already drooping as another yawn comes over him.
“Of course, Choso. I’ll do anything I can to help you.”
More heat comes to his cheeks as he nods, and he looks into your eyes as you nervously bite your lip.
“Choso?”
“Yes?”
“Can I…cuddle you?” you ask quietly, and his eyes widen as his mouth drops open slightly, but he quickly nods his head and lifts an arm up invitingly.
“Thank you,” you reply, taking a deep breath as you settle in, snuggled up against his chest.
“Anything for you,” he replies, nuzzling his cheek against the top of your head.
You smile at his action before moving your head to look at him.
Choso’s brows furrow in confusion as you bite your lip again, a shy smile on your lips now.
You slip a hand up to cup his cheek, grazing your thumb over the soft skin there as you look into his eyes.
“I like you, Choso,” you say, giving him a tired smile.
He blinks rapidly before lifting a hand and pinching his shoulder.
Your brows furrow this time, confused as to why he did that.
“Y/n,” he says slowly, eyes nervously scanning your features, “this isn’t another dream that I’m going to wake up from, is it?”
“A dream?” you question, propping yourself up on an elbow to better look at him. “Why would you think this is a dream?”
“B-because…” he says, words trailing from his lips as he glances down. “Well, I just…I like you. A lot. A-and I’ve wanted to hold you like this for a long time now. A-and I never…well I didn’t expect you to like someone…like me…”
“Oh, Choso,” you say, your thumb stroking his cheek again, “you’re the most amazing person I’ve ever met. And if you give me a chance, I’m sure I’ll fall in love with you…more than I already am.”
Choso’s eyes widen at your words, and he reaches out his hand to mimic you and cup your cheek.
You lean into his palm, slowly closing your eyes with a sigh and content smile gracing your lips.
Choso swallows hard, whispering your name out to get your attention.
When you look at him, he’s glancing down and nervously tapping his fingers on the bed.
“C-can I kiss you?” he asks, his words barely audible with the noise of the fan and how quiet he spoke.
Your cheeks warm again but you reach out and touch the bottom of his chin with two fingers, a smile resting on your lips.
“I would love that, Choso,” you reply, and he blinks a few times, letting your answer register before he cautiously moves forward, capturing your lips with his.
You feel him melt into the kiss, and you resist the urge to smile, not wanting to break the moment.
He’s gentle, cautious, and loving with the way he kisses you, and you can’t imagine anything or anyone more perfect than him.
When you pull back, his eyes are filled with love and adoration, and complete shock that he actually got to kiss you, his crush.
You giggle slightly and give him another quick peck before kissing his nose, after which you snuggle back into his chest as he slowly wraps his arms back around you.
“I-I think I love you, y/n,” he whispers, resting his cheek back on your head.
“I think I love you too, Choso,” you reply, “I’ve liked you for long enough that it’s probably evolved to that level.”
“I think I fell in love with you when I first laid eyes on you,” he says, and you nuzzle your nose into his chest, taking another deep breath and letting his scent envelop you.
“I think I did too,” you reply before falling back asleep.

Imagine you’re one of Yuji’s cousins and you lived in the US until you found out his grandpa died and so you move back to Japan to become Yuji’s guardian but Choso is already taking care of him and won’t let him leave so you have to live with both of them
You and Choso hate each other and are hostile at first but after a night of shared secrets and deep life stories you end up falling asleep on each others shoulders on the couch
And after that Choso starts to do small cute gestures and he smiles his cute awkward smile at you whenever he can because he loves how it makes your cheeks warm and that sweet giggle slip from your lips
And one day Yuji can’t find either of you until he knocks on your door and finds Choso cuddled up on top of the sheet with you under them and his face is buried in your side because he had a nightmare but didn’t want to wake you so he just rested there. Yuji takes a picture and sneaks out before either of you notice
And then later when Megumi is over you hear Yuji giggling about something and showing Megumi his phone. Megumi is a lot more chill and discreet but he does give you a small knowing smirk and you furrow your brows because why is he looking at you like that?
And Choso can’t stop stuttering around you and being flustered. He’s very clumsy and apologizes when he “accidentally” touches your hand when you both reach for something in the fridge but then he asks if you would rather go get dinner at a restaurant
You agree and instead of staying at a restaurant Choso gets take out and walks with you to a park where a picnic blanket is set up with tiny battery-lit candles (because he doesn’t trust the wind)
He awkwardly runs off to a tree and steps behind it to grab a pot with your favorite plant/flower inside. The pot is a simple ceramic but it’s clearly been painted and it’s a sloppy picture of the two of you with a heart in the middle
Your smile is brighter than the moon as you take it and tell him it’s perfect and you love it. He blurts out that he’s in love with you and you giggle, saying that he should at least take you out on another date before deciding that he’s in love, but when his expression drops you immediately tell him you’re just teasing
He asks if you like him as well and you laugh, making him self conscious again, to which you quickly cover by saying “well duh I like you!” His cute and awkward smile bursts onto his face and you giggle while leaning over and kissing his cheek
Yuji and Megumi are hiding in some of the other trees and Yuji is taking pictures of you and Choso while Megumi struggles to hold him from falling. He debates dropping Yuji but decides he might get dumped if he does, and despite finding him absolutely annoying, he’s fallen for Yuji (not literally, he’s got good balance)
But eventually Megumi’s grip gets weak and he does end up dropping Yuji, but he soon follows after as a big gust of wind knocks him off of the branch. You and Choso look over and both run to the boys, only to find Yuji laughing as Megumi’s hair is covered with leaves and sticks. Choso makes sure Yuji is okay while you pluck the twigs from Megumi’s hair. You scold them and ask them what they were doing, only for Yuji to show you the pictures
You look at Choso with a smirk and ask if he knew they would be here, and he sheepishly scratches his neck and admits that yes, he asked them to help him with taking you out on a date. You just grin and wrap your arms around him in a hug, burying your face in his chest which makes his cheeks turn beet red. He smiles again and reciprocates the hug before you pull back and give him a proper kiss.
He’s stunned, gooped, and gagged. He’s frozen in place. He had his first kiss with the most amazing person to ever exist, and now he gets to take you home and hopefully make it under the sheets when cuddling this time, because he nearly froze the other night with your massive industrial sized fan blowing
