you guys, in pakistan Ramadan is like the equivalent of christmas in the US when it comes to marketing and ads. Every food brand, everything has a Ramadan sale attached to it it’s wild. Some chain stores sell a whole Ramadan package with dates, milk, flour, oil/ghee, probably dahi, frozen samosas, rooh-afza, everything we usually eat. yknow like those big christmas packages with 60 different kinds of Godiva chocolates but it’s actual food.
Ramadan is more commercialized in Pakistan than Eid, and Eid is the actual holiday. Ramadan is a religious month that we fast in, not really a celebration. Insane.
Anyway for my non-Muslim friends, make a Muslim in your community happy by taking them out to a halal restaurant for Iftar. Ask them about how they practice Ramadan. Buy them Krispy Kreme for dessert. Be like that one guy on TikTok who woke up at 4 to prepare suhoor for his roommate. Learn more about Islam. Look out for the Muslims in your community. And for Allah’s sake, don’t stop talking about Palestine.
to the Muslims, Ramadan Mubarak, may your days be filled with peace and prosperity from Allah, may He answer all your prayers for this year.
Don’t forget to check your dates so you’re not accidentally beginning or breaking your fast with Israeli-grown ones. Pray Taraweeh if you can go to the masjid. Help your parents make iftar if you live with your parents idk. Have a blessed Ramadan everyone 🫶🇵🇰📿

jimin had had quite the relationship with sleep. sometimes it was all that he wanted and came as easy as a swift dance move. other times, it was stubborn and would leave him wandering around the apartment at 4am with droopy eyes.
but when you manifested into jimin’s life, everything came into balance. he could never fully explain to you just what about you had changed him. at times he thought it was because he’d become so accustomed to your warm presence. but then he’d think of all your nagging in the early stages of your relationship when he’d insist on not wanting to sleep.
really, it was a combination of things. it was the way you’d turn off the tv and gently take his hand in yours, leading him to the bedroom. and it was the way your eyes would never leave his as the both of you brushed your teeth in the bathroom.
and it was especially in the way your delicate fingertips would softly trace the ink on his back as your curled into him.
oh, and how could he forget? the pretty words you’d whisper to him every night,
“i love you to the moon and back, park jimin.”

paris in the rain ☁️
sunwoo feels as though he’s in a dream. never has he experienced a moment so perfect - so… surreal. your hand is warm in his grip, a sweet contrast to the chilly weather of paris.
you’re sure you look a mess from the wind and light rain which covers the streets in a soft glow, as puddles reflect the streetlights. but sunwoo thinks you look as beautiful as ever.
water droplets dot the your cheeks, and strands of hair stick to your skin as the wind continues to blow against your bodies. the world is moving, sunwoo knows this as people walk past, and some ride on bicycles past the both of you. but he feels as though he’s frozen in time, his bright eyes taking in every single detail of you.
he moves only to press the softest of kisses to your lips, and he smiles into it. you know this without having to see it, all because you do the same.
“i love you.” he grins shyly, swinging your entwined hands gently.
“i love you too.”
sunwoo thought that if life was a movie, he’d replay this moment over and over again.
